The town of Roswell does not shy away from its title as the most alien-obsessed of all U.S. towns, but there is much more to Roswell than giant green heads connected to tiny bodies. In addition to the International U.F.O. Museum and Research Center, Roswell has a topnotch art museum, a planetarium, and the oldest continually existing orchestra in New Mexico. Markets abound and outdoor activities are extremely popular in setting favorable for outdoor events year-round. Additionally there are many quality restaurants and lodgings available in and outside of town. One of the main themes of Roswell is extraterrestrials, but the city itself has a friendly, small-town, southwestern feel.
