Plus: Staff demonstrated excellent customer service from pick-up to drop-off. The availability of cars, business hours and location to public transportation make this an ideal location. I will use this location in the future for my rental needs.

Minus: Outside of car was not washed before my pick-up. Representative did offer to take my car down the road to carwash, because their location does not have car wash facilities. I was running late for function, therefore could not take him up on offer. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Plus: Staff was friendly and so helpful! Only place open on a Sunday and our flight was canceled so I needed to get home by driving. They found me a reliable vehicle that my Mother, daughters and I could fit comfortably in. So grateful for the help.

Minus: Van was easy to drive and low mileage which makes me feel confident we’d be able to drive to 10 hours across the state. Only thing was it smelled inside and there was something sprayed in inside windshield and dash. It would have been better if the car was windshield was cleaner.

Plus: Car was great. Check out guy was nice. I was 2 gallons below the tank return level, and after I asked, he waived the fee.

Minus: They don't rent EZ Pass devices like other car rental companies do. The toll charges go to your credit card automatically from the toll service. Enterprise charges a $3.95 "toll processing fee" for not doing anything. Other companies rent you a device for a flat fee per day, unlimited tolls.

Plus: The women that helped me were very nice.

Minus: I wasn’t told the daily insurance was optional. I was told to pick from basic or higher. This cost an extra $140.00 which is not professional in my opinion.

Plus: Bus driver was awesome! Easier than I thought it would be at LGA under construction.

Minus: Car exterior was dirty; front desk was under going repairs or construction; CSR at the front desk was not friendly. And, that was a lot of money to rent a car for 5 days.

Minus: We're on a honeymoon and we plane trip from NY to Miami, I specifically ordered convertival car . The only location with car like that was LGA so im pay 60$ to uber jest to get LGA for pickup the car. When we arrived the told me that is no convertible car there even thet its was on my oder , the worker over there not helping me to find a convertible in anther branch and i have to make 3 phone calls to look for a convertible as i order . I find one in Philadelphia and i get car to change there. I was told in NY that I don’t have to bring the tank full to Philadelphia because what happened with my order, and when i get the final bill in miami the chargers my extra 55$ for FullTank for the car in Philadelphia.... disappointing.

Plus: Friendly staff, easy and fast. I especially liked that the spouse can drive with no extra payment or paperwork, unlike Hertz where we had rented the week before. I will privilege Budget in the future as long as the price is still right!

Minus: Got into a small accident and was left stranded by Hertz. It took 2.5 hours to confirm a tow truck was even on the way. Then Hertz's solution was having me drive on a donut for 45 miles in the wrong direction to pick up a replacement car. This added 6 hours to my drive. Also, it was a 50/50 shot as to whether employees would be helpful. Was hung up on 2x by Emergency Roadside Assistance and had to keep calling back and getting put back in the queue. It was MADDENING and made a stressful situation way worse than it needed to be.

Plus: When searching on Kayak, I thought I had a great deal. $139.00 for the rental.

Minus: When I came out of the dealer I had so many fees and taxes, it came to $223. Way more. I feel - Hertz ripped me off.

Minus: The hotel lobby needs more than 1 person to assist. Very friendly guy but it took 40 min to get the car due to waiting as only one person could assist each customer (about 15-20min per person)

Minus: I had a very bad experience, and i would like some of my money refunded. I have been told that the Hertz staff with whom I spoke put notes in the account. I was given a choice to pick-up a car as late as 9 pm, if i am not mistaken. I scheduled a pick-up for 6 pm, but learned that the office from which I was supposed to pick-up closed at 6 pm. How can I pick-up a car at 6 pm from an office that closes at 6 pm? You then charged me more than thirty dollars to pick-up the car at a different location. I request a refund of the difference between the original rate, approximately $72., and the final rate of approximately $114. Please respond to me at gregkuntashian@netscape.com as soon as possible.

Plus: I prepaid the reservation, insurance and all so everything was ready. i was in and out real fast. the agent was curteous and the guy outside helpful. I liked their "pick a car in the zone" feature.

Minus: my car was not cleaned thoroughly. there was visible dirt and crumbs from what looked like a granola bar all over. wished i didnt have to go to the rental counter at the end of the rental....there was noone there.

Then Hertz's solution was having me drive on a donut for 45 miles in the wrong direction to pick up a replacement car. This added 6 hours to my drive. Also, it was a 50/50 shot as to whether employees would be helpful. Was hung up on 2x by Emergency Roadside Assistance and had to keep calling back and getting put back in the queue. It was MADDENING and made a stressful situation way worse than it needed to be.

Minus: i have not been informed that i need to have deposit money on my credit card and that hertz will block my money. the thing that was written in my confirmation was "due at the counter = 0", and nothing about the 200 $ more that hertz wanted from me. overall a poor experience

Plus: Clean and nice car. Rental extension was easy and inexpensice

Minus: The hotel lobby needs more than 1 person to assist. Very friendly guy but it took 40 min to get the car due to waiting as only one person could assist each customer (about 15-20min per person)

Minus: I had a very bad experience, and i would like some of my money refunded. I have been told that the Hertz staff with whom I spoke put notes in the account. I was given a choice to pick-up a car as late as 9 pm, if i am not mistaken. I scheduled a pick-up for 6 pm, but learned that the office from which I was supposed to pick-up closed at 6 pm. How can I pick-up a car at 6 pm from an office that closes at 6 pm? You then charged me more than thirty dollars to pick-up the car at a different location. I request a refund of the difference between the original rate, approximately $72., and the final rate of approximately $114. Please respond to me at gregkuntashian@netscape.com as soon as possible.

Plus: Reasonably helpful staff. There was a considerable wait getting picked up on arrival. Very little, though, returning.

Minus: Biggest complaint not with staff, who were young but competent. But I was required to provide proof of insurance in order to waive the company's own. Fortunately my wife was at home and could send a photo of insurance card. I was given no indication in advance. Could have been a bad scene.

Difficult pickup and dropoff

Minus: After a series of long and difficult phone calls to local office in a converted trailer, I waited 1.5 hours at JFK while a shared bus service picked me up to transport me to the pickup location. Car was nice and service was apologetic.. but I was annoyed by the long wait and the indifference to their obvious business shortcomings.. I will not rent here again..

Pickup experience was awful

Plus: People were nice. Car was fine. They take a video of the car before you drive away so you don't have to worry about prior damage.

Minus: The pickup shuttle doesn't run all the time. You have to call when you get to the terminal. We called, but missed seeing the shuttle, so we had to wait for a second time...almost an hour to get the car. Not worth the $10 savings over in-airport rental services.

Pretty Bad

Minus: The car had no smoking signs everywhere, but smelled terribly of smoke (and we had our baby in the car) so we needed to drive with the windows open often; The car was rented to us with low tire pressure, which is very dangerous; The tank of gas was not full when we drove out of the lot with the car, but we had to return it full -- which feels like theft. All of these things should be illegal.

Wouldnt go with them again

Minus: First, the vehicle was a very old model with too much mileage. No minimum features. Although the pickup and drop off was professional and easy it was weird that the pick up the car was checked for damages less than 50 seconds but the drop off it took over 5 minutes. Of course, they found something that we did not see at the pickup. One word, they are not as bad but still very poor, I didn’t have such an experience with any other rental company.

Minus: The interior of the van was very worn. Seats were stained. It drove well and looked fine from the exterior but inside was below expectations.

don't waste your time or money,

Minus: - extremely rude staff and owner - old dated cars that don't feel safe and lack every basic feature (they have an old ac and that's pretty much it) - extremely small lot, makes getting in/out and parking very difficult - hidden fees - worst customer service I've ever encountered - paperwork takes forever to be processed

It goes through taking name, etc and sends you email that looks a hell of a lot like a reservation (but does say you have to call to confirm).
