location, cleanliness, accommodating, friendly staff Paid for parking each day
Room and view was amazing Staff was very friendly No free wifi No microwave in room
Restaurant, and Bar are great and the hotel is within walking distance of all sorts of activities.
Staff is very kind.Location of hotel is awesome. Will definitely be coming back. They could have a better cable selection. They only have a few channels.& the cable would go in & out on some of the channels. But other then that.Fantastic!!!
Room was comfortable and view was great! Husband worked and I enjoyed hotel. Did not receive turn down service that was in info. Overall very good for the price paid! Ate at The Republic of Texas. Service was BAD! Wasted time and money. Nice View but not offered to see other that our little table by a pole.
good hotel good accomodations nice location clean rooms Everything was great except a front desk asociate gave us a different room of the one that we reserved when we notified them about the mistake he started giving us a lecture of how they work with third party companies even when he knew he had a room available for us that was very rude from his part
Great location. Good service. Omni is supposed to be the best hotel in town, the only luxury hotel. Perhaps in the past- hotel needs an update and come into the 21et century. Carpet in the elevators are dirty and stained. Corridors have a stale smell. Business center has one computer and printer but one has to pay to use them. No free wifi? Pay for everything on top of a pricey room rate- and still feel like being in a second class hotel??
Our room was not cleaned. Beds made, but nothing else when we got back to room at 10:00pm
Staff was awesome. Room was really nice with a great view. The fact that they charged you for every little thing. From a bottle of water in your room to a tiny bottle of spray starch. Was kind of ridiculous, especially for how much I was paying for the room.
No free parking lot. And the room was not what I expected for the money and being on a vip access floor it was quite small. The "private balcony" was too small to even enjoy the view from
The location of the hotel too the water front was great. the Valets were quick and professional. The young man in the "gift store" was quick and friendly The room itself was mediocre, not what I had expected or had hoped for from the Omni. The front desk ladies were indifferent to their customers.
Location 1. Charges for parking each day. 2. Charges to connect to Wi-Fi each day. 3. Guide on TV only tells you the channel and not what is on at that time.
The room was clean and in good repair. The location and view was great and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The place was clean. The check in process was lengthy! The breakfast staff were cold and rude. When asked questions they responded sarcastically. The entire stay was just bland and uninteresting. Will not be staying here again.
The hotel was in a perfect location for walking to restaraunts and nightlife. Great view from room. Breakfast was ok but the dining view was nice. It was nice looking at the ocean while having breakfast.
Everything was good! Check out front desk could have been kind
The staff at the front desk, the breakfast buffet, and housekeeping were all phenomenal! The ladies at the breakfast buffet were constantly checking the items to make sure there was enough to go around! The housekeeping ladies were always smiling and asking how our day was going. It was just very friendly and welcoming. I wished we were able to stay longer!! The location. It was boring with very little to do. I have never been to Corpus Christi so I was unaware how far we would be from the beach. However, because of the rest of the amenities and the staff, I would choose this hotel again and again. Plus the pool was really nice and available despite a lot of guests staying in the hotel the same time as us!
The view from the room was excellent; able to look out across the bay, and soak in the awesome display of the natural and man-made scenery. The access to the bay was very convenient! Nice!! The servers/cooks (??) present during the breakfast hour need to be just a little more professional. Breakfast goes until 9:30 am - my daughter and I arrived around 9:00 am. There was this 'nagging countdown' that seemed to start about 25 minutes away from cut off; "25 minutes to go...15, 10, just 5 more minutes...breaking down tables right in the middle of guests"! I can understand them being a little tired or ready to end, but that was absolutely nerve wrecking, and provoked an unrelaxing atmosphere. Very tacky!!!!
Close to locations which we wanted to visit One half of the rooms have a good view of the bayfront while the back sides does not. We got the back side and feel that it was assigned even though we had reservations longer than other guests. The hotel personnel referenced to you as "They". Another couple checking in, after us, received a good side.
The hotel was ok and the access to the area attraction were nice and easy to walk to. The breakfast was nothing to talk about but it was a level above a continental breakfast. The hotel was ok, but not for the money spent. I have stayed at hotels of this caliber for half the cost. I guess you can expect this cost for the location.
my stay was great clean rooms great view when someone flushed the toilet you could hear it it was very loud
The view from the dinning room.
Location Not enough convienient parking, plumbing too loud, parking lot view.
Excellent continental breakfast in a full size dining room.
Shower and bathroom dirty. Unacceptable
Location There were cockroaches in bathroom, when notified, the room was changed, the second room was free of cockroaches however there was no coffee machine and bathroom door was loose and falling, when asked to fix, it was promised but not provided or fixed. The owner or city inspector noses are immune as they cant feel the smell coming off the old carpets allover the hotel, even in elevator.
All the rooms face inward towards the lobby so looking down from the tenth floor was cool Staff was distracted and joking with each other while checking me in. Parking was an extra $6.50. I forgot to bring toiletries and they were only able to give me a small packet of toothpaste; no razors, no shaving cream, no toothbrush, no deodorant. Continental breakfast tasted like cardboard.
Very friendly staff Cheap sundries, lack luster breakfast for how much the room cost. Lobby is dated but rooms are ok
Initially, the insides looked fine, a bit run down but interesting and the staff were nice. The room had town full sized, not queen beds. The light in the bathroom wouldn't go on so I could apply makeup, I was there for business. There was NO other mirror. The only other item of furniture in the room was an extremely narrow chest of drawers barely large enough to hold the TV. The tub had the handle pulled out of it sometime in the past and instead of replacing this tub/shower insert, they'd just bondoed the bits back together. The toilet was so low as to be the right size for a preschool. I've stayed at much better Econolodges and Motel 6s, so to have to spend $293 for this room was a complete insult. I will never recommend or stay at this hotel again, unless it was the only room for 62 miles, which was why I had to stay there that night.
Location is about the only thing 1st, room was not ready. Check in was 3pm when I called, when I arrived, she said that was their courtesy check in. Regular check in was at 5pm and check out at 12pm. That's less then a 24 hours stay. Room was ready at 4pm. Then you have to pay for parking.. . Pool was too small for the size of the hotel. Worst thing about it all was the A/C, it was super hot in our room, we could not sleep. Luckily we had reserved a Family Suite, so the other rooms A/C provided some sort of comfort. Breakfast was terrible, less then continental. Went to coffee shop to purchase breakfast and they were out of breakfast as well. All they had were pastries. Needless to say, we will not return. It has great potential but it was a terrible experience.
Nothing. Well, the a/c worked well. When I walked into the room. It was not at all like the pictures. The shower was dripping. The box spring was exposed and the lining all torn up underneath. When I pulled the toilet paper the whole holder came out of the wall. There was a bug ON MY TOOTHBRUSH. I prepaid for 3 nights and could only stomach the one. They WOULD NOT REFUND the other two nights. There were 5 other people complaining and checking out at the same time I was. There were stains on the walls and bathroom. It was NOT AT ALL AS PICTURED. AWFUL.
The website we booked it on didn't have all the policies for this location, We drove 3 hours just to find out we couldn't stay because we had to be 21 to check in, we were out $65 for the non refundable room and had no where to stay.
The only thing that I liked was the close proximity to the water and the fact that it was in Corpus. I hated the roaches, they were everywhere. We had to shake out our luggage they were so bad. It's a serious infestation.
Área near gulf of mexico Cover blanket has hairs in It. Small roaches in bath room Ceiling texture found on some furniture Picture of hotel looks nice but very different when you are there (as I mention, lots of minor repairs neede) Elevator had a very strong smell of wet rags that had been there for days. Free breakfast was mention but All they had was 5 beggels, juice and coffe.
Location was good Older hotel and I had a few crickets stay with me.
Close to the Bay, cheap price on Kayak. Bar inside hotel. 24 hour coffee shop with nice staff. Great view of the bay. The keycard reader was broken and I was locked out of my room for 30 minutes. They put us on the 10th floor, which isn't renovated and is very run down. The towels were dirty. The front desk was rude. Lobby smells like grease. You have to pay for parking and the garage is super run down and creepy. They moved me to the 9th floor, which was better, but still had issues. The curtains do a poor job of blocking the outside light.
The rooms were clean and bed was super comfy. For the price of the room I would expect a small fridge. I had a great view but balcony doors are locked so you can't go outside on balcony. I took my kids and try not to eat out the entire trip but there was no microwave either. One room didn't even have a blow dryer so my daughter had to come to my room to use mine. The room with 2beds had a closet that was broken. Their sink in the bathroom would never drain. The drinks at poolside bar were so weak. My $7 margarita was very small. The pool was sooo salty and the filter wasn't doing its job. There were tons of bugs in pool.
Valet parking on evenings is horrible! Need more Valet people long waits. I waited 45 minutes for my vehicle.
Comfortable rooms and great view of Corpus Christi Harbor. Close to many good restaurants. Helpful and friendly staff Lack of complimentary light breakfast.
Facility was outdated. Beds were very uncomfortable
Had a nice view of Corpus Christi Bay Motorcycles and cars racing up and down the street in front of hotel all night!!! Need police presence to stop this!!!
The fitness center looks poor
Everything about our stay was good, except for one little hiccup. Our bath/shower had an issue w/ the water, that wouldn't turn off, Had to change rooms. Was comped a breakfast for the trouble
The location was convenient & the view was nice The walls were very thin. I could hear everything my neighbors were doing. The beds are dated & uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet is horrible.
I liked the day I left. That hotel was horrible. Poor staff, unorganized staff, poor management , no security. Will never return to this hotel or allow any one that I know stay here.
Old casino look, needs to be updated! Holiday inn hotels usually have very modern, clean look. This one looked like a 90s Harrah's casino!
Location Ceiling in bathroom was messed up No microwave For the price I expecting way more.
Beautiful hotel! So comfortable, we didn't want to leave! It feels like you're right at home. Pricey, but worth it. Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you want to head to the beach or have a great night out. Definitely will be returning again!
The V Boutique Hotel is a great addition to Corpus Christi. The staff was helpful and courteous, the room was spacious and had a stylish and contemporary design. It is located above one of my favorite restaurants, but was unfortunately closed for the Holidays. I will definitely stay there again for future visits. The satellite TV system was not working upon check-in but was fixed by the time we returned later that evening.
very quiet, nice. wish i knew that checkout was at 1200, would have loved to sleep later.
The Vietnamese Restaurant located under the V Boutique,...the food was awesome. A must do again!!!! Not enough hot water for a couple to shower without waiting for the hot water to heat up between showers.
The Bayfront Inn was horrible. There was not hot water and the room smelled like mold. The room was also dirty. Than when I asked for a refund the man at the front desk got belligerent.
Proximity to bay Dirty Needs major renovation
There wasn't one thing that I liked about this place. I became worried as I was checking in. The lobby, while you can tell it was once beautiful, it was very dated, falling apart and damp/musty smelling. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and decided to see the room before making any decisions. The room was just as dated, damp, and musty smelling as the lobby. I immediately checked right back out and went to the Holiday Inn down the street. It was worth forfeiting what I had paid to not have to worry about breathing in mold and mildew and stay the night in comfort somewhere else.
I liked the location. No greeting from the staff individual at all. No welcome or anything at all. I handed her my identification and after a few minutes she placed it back on the counter for me. When I went to reach for it she grabs it and offered no explanation! I asked, "What happened? What's wrong?" and still nothing from the staff. It was 65 degrees in the room which is a bit too cold for me. We could not adjust the air condition as it seemed to be preset and made to where the thermostat could not be adjusted. TV remote controlf did not work. Roomed smelled horribly! I don't think it had been really cleaned in awhile because it was just smelled bad. I took my shoes off for a second, stepped on the floor with my bare feet and carpet floor felt damp. It was really disgusting. At checkout again we were not greeted at all,. No thank you for visiting hope you come back. When I asked for receipt I was glared at and rudely told "you get that from expedia!" I will never book a room there again.
Nothing It was disgusting. Poor business manegment.
The view and location was ideal for business conference and local eating/sight seeing. Free yet unsecured parking. Lights not working. Bed extremely saggy and uncomfortable. Mysterious stains on floors and walls. Peeling paint, wallpaper, fabric. Generally unclean. Roaches. Repeatedly asked for ironing board before got one. No internet for customers as promised and no indication if or when it would be fixed yet front desk staff had locked wifi. Stained sheets. Walked across the street to Holiday Inn and stayed there rest of trip. They said that happens a lot.
it was close to the water, but that's about the only thing it had going for it. the room was really dirty. bathroom was also very unclean. during our visit, a chemical refinery contaminated the city's water supply and the hotel staff did not inform us the water was unsafe to drink or even wash your hands with. There was a city wide water ban; I can't make it up!
