location ,close to centre, shops dining out. staff very serious, somewhat un-friendly, especiall front of house staff(reception).
I found everything perfect with this hotel, I stayed with my elderly mother and two teenages .
nothing. Arrived ar 4am, advised no room. Had to find alternative acc for the night. Had advised 2 weeks prior that I would be arrivided early and subsequently phoned 2 days before advising of my arrival. Rude staff, would not recommend. Woman travelling alone - disgrace.
close to the sea shore and we had fantastic sea view. The hotel room was very clean, provided breakfast. Hotel has restaurant - a very good one. Almost everything is within walking distance. none
The location is their only asset. The bed matress was the only good thing in the room. Furniture was old, room was dirty.
Good value for reduced price, the promissed internet did not function. The furniture worn. Not very welcoming reception. We booked a suite but got a regular double room.
Spacious and confortable rooms, nice atmosphere and open common spaces in courtyards and gardens. Very good located near the Kusavasi Bazar and central restaurants. My bed had and eiderdown instead I would had prefered a sheet. It was still good tempeture at night in October.
Comfortabale and homely environment
The hotel was built by renovating exisitng old houses in the area and has character. It is very clean, and tastefully decorated. It (though difficult to reach by car at first) is centrally located with convenient access to the center by foot. No.
When the owers were on site it was a warm and cozy place breakfast was very repeatative...very little fresh fruit, in a place where fruit is everywhere
Amazing place, nice rooms, great pool and great food! The Staff was also really great! They treat you like their own family, and even have afternoon tea all together. The owner is always hanging around and they do a great job of making sure you enjoy your stay! I highly recommend staying here!
Original hotel with unique experience of Ottoman style accomodation Problematic neighbourhood, access to the hotel and limited parking space
It's necessary explain better about the hotel direction. It was hard to find the hotel, we need to hire a taxi.
There are many spaces for relaxation within the hotel and I appreciated the lounges for reading designed in certain quiet places around. I liked that the rooms are designed to keep the coolness throughout the heat of the day. Parking is a real pain...
The only word I can use is excellent with the exception of an unheated outdoor pool. I have nothing bad to say about this facility
Don't look anywhere else as Villa Konak is simply incredible. The hotel manager (Harley) and his staff go out of their way to make your stay the best experience possible. He spoke english very well and was more than helpful with travel trips, basic city information and anything else we could think of. The room was spotless, breakfast was excellent, and there is plenty of room on the grounds and around the pool to relax. Big library of books and free pool table and internet (+ Wi-Fi). Villa Konak makes you feel at home with your self serve bar and snacks...if you want something just help yourself and mark it down on the clipboard. It doesn't get any easier than that. Great location as well, 150 m from the centre of all the action.
Service was great and room very spacious
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculately clean and the views of the town and harbour were stunning.
Staff is great! Location! U need half an hour to get to a good beach! Moreover, you need to climb up to hill to get to the hotel! the rooms are nice, but buthrooms are quite small and sometimes there is no ot water!
Sandra and Yusef are the best!!! I could not have asked for a more wonderful stay than the one I had at Anzac! The whole staff was so warm and friendly, I really felt like I was home. If you are looking to immerse yourself in your visit to Turkey, I highly recommend staying at the Anzac!!! It is a great place and conveniently located to everything you want to do and see in Kusadasi. A++++++++
We enjoyed the hotel very much and would stay there again. I wish that we had more time. I did not like climbing the hill to the hotel but it certainly gave a great view from the terrace.
Rooms were fresh, clean, crisp, airy, with nice balcony for sitting. Decor is monastic and restful. Quiet street, friendly proprietors gave lots of useful info about the area. Lovely terrace for lounging and cocktails, breakfast and gathering. We will return! Met other independent travellers to share info and experiences. A friendly village feel in a rather large town. Hot water has a long way to travel to the rooms but is worth the wait.
It was very close to downtown area tight quarters, water did not get hot in room, water from faucet was discolored with particles in it
We both loved the hotel its position and friendlyness of all the staff
The hotel is in the middle of Kusadasi, next to the restaurants and the shops. Does not have parking, does not have an electric generator, breakfast - only cheese and eggs.
The hotel staff was excellent, the location is also very convenient ( close to the city center) The breakfast is not so great
The staff. The website indicated there was Airport Shuttle Service. When I called I found it it was about $75 extra. When I read "Airport Shuttle Service" I think of a courtesy car/van where you tip the driver and that's all. I did not know how far the airport was and found this terribly expensive.
I liked the location of the hotel, which was perfect for me. Also, the staff, and the manager were very helpful and trying to help in any way. The price of the hotel through your website was very reasnable for a family, and we liked the rooms, which they are very will equiped for a family with four adults and one child. Next time , I will conceder staying in this hotel. Thank you. the only thing is if a shining products are used for cleaning the bathroom, it would look more cleaness at least if it used when a new guest come .
The location was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, the accommodation spacious and comfortable.
Good location, big rooms, staff and manager very helpful and friendly. Very small shower, not very clean the room.
the location This hotel is well past its sell by date. It is tired and grubby looking and needs a full overhaul and repainted
the hotel very convenient to walk in the city center no
The staff was sincere and nice... It wasn't clean enough.. Hotel needs to be looked after more..
the staff are excellent, makes u feel at home. they very friendly and helpful, there,s nothing to complaint about the services. recommended for holiday and honeymoon. u guys did a fantastic job, well done. just bit noisy at nite, coz the nite club just next door to the apart hotel.
Good location if you want to stay close to the bars and shopping. Don´t expect any kind of luxury though. Cleaning during my 6-days long stay was basicly non-existing.
It was casual and comfortable. It had a pool and great location. Not all rooms are renovated yet.
The staff at the hotel make the whole experience amazing so helpfull and kind they looked after us so well.
Good location, right in the city center, near the sea and not far from the dolmuş stop. Many facilities in the nearby (shops, restaurants, travel agencies, ...). Very good breakfast. There's a pool, a nice common room and a pretty garden. Free internet and A/C. Good accomodation for backpackers. The room was really tiny (less than 10m2), the bathroom was very old and unclean. Many broken things (soap dispenser, water tap, mattress, wardrobe). Completely different from the description and pictures on the web. No kitchen in my room, nor minibar, TV, bath or balcony (they declare such stuff as room facilities). If you want to book, ask about which room you'll be given. No credit cards!
The staff here are very helpful and welcomes you like part of their own family and go out ab their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are unbeliveble big great and new beds and parket floors .The rooms are very very large clean and new renowaited and 5 star level maybe ower Family atmosphere and the location and the staff they can speak fluently german english and japanese.
The swimming pool, the room. Nothing
near shops The front staff was very helpful and nice but the night guy was sleeping when he was supposed to have started breakfast. Breakfast hours are rather late. The room itself was large but the beds did not have any blankets (only sheets, no mattress cover and no fitted sheets). The sheets on the queen bed were for a double bed size so they were too narrow. You could see the mattress thru the sheets. There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom - not sparkling clean either...I went to the fron desk about it and they were quick to answer my requests but they did not understand what I meant about the fitted sheets and mattress cover. They tried their best to help but I think that they don't have the proper equipment
We were very pleased with Hotel Sezgin. We visited in early October which may be a slightly low season, but it was certainly the best value hotel we encountered on an extended trip. Sezgin and Dennis make a good team and went out of their way to make sure we got the most out of our trip to Kusadasi. Sezgin's help in getting us to the places we wanted to visit was much appreciated and I would say that his arrangements were tailored to our preferences and certainly not more expensive than other options - in particular the arrangements he made to get us to Ephesus were just what we wanted and much less costly than an organised tour. The room was very spacious and the bar fridge and electric jug appreciated. The bathroom had been cleaned ok, but it was in need of a scrub.
The hotel was charming (location and looks) and had internet facilities the beds were uncomfortable (old?)
Great value for the money. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good location.
My partner and I are keen travellers, and like our independence. When passing through Kusadasi we stayed at the Sezgin for three days, walking the beaches of the Delik National Park during the visit. We had the pleasure of a large, airy spotlessly clean room, very reasonable rates and a friendly staff. The staff are attentive without being ovewhelming, and we were not pressed with the usual requests that we take organised tours, though these were available if required. We reccommend the place highly.
The Hotel was really good for the price. For the independent traveller, Kusadasi isn't really a destination I would recomend, but as a stopping point or exit point for greece then it's fine. Hotel was good though.
Excellent location - next to the center of activities, yet spatious and quiet. Spotlessly clean, good size swimming pool, fine breakfast in a garden. Sezgin and Denise- the owners and managers - are ready with usefull advices. We came for one night and stayed three. Sezgin has a full variety of service levels and prices. We had a large bedroom with hot/cold water bathroom, two balconies. Aircondition ,fridge, hot water cocker and kitchen sink .You fell like home away from home. really nice place and good breakfast. Sezgin was very warm and helpful too. prepare to walk uphill slope to the hotel, thus not suitable for people who not really fit
