Got stuck with a smelly smoking room. made my reservation six months in advance. My son graduation at U of I. Was not happy!
The rooms are nice, but there are sure a lot of smokers. Parking lot, hallways, stair wells. Location is great. Plenty of parking. The bar nearby played really loud music past two am. If you stay here, bring ear plugs just in case.
Mattresses were comfortable. Nice to have a hot breakfast available. Staff friendly. Definitely a budget hotel. Room air conditioning was horrible. Never cooled down very well. The hallway was cooler than the room. It was over 100 degrees when we stayed...very uncomfortable sleeping. Stains on the carpet...not sure what they were.
Fast Elevator Continental Breakfast Dining area was very small. large family big problem.
Nice bed. A nice stay.
room was spacious and clean, beds are very comfortable, location to everything is perfect, coffee machine at the front desk a major bonus, breakfast was great at a great price, nice pool, not large but clean and cool on a hot day, the ice machine was broken on the 2nd and 3rd floor, i had to go to the first floor to get ice.
Room was spacious, and bed was comfortable. We sometimes left our room after 11:00 a.m., and would need to call housekeeping because our room was not cleaned. The third time we called about this, it took three more calls before housekeeping responding. No free breakfast, and meals were expensive. The horrible smell from the local paper processing plant permeated the room, which left us nauseous.
Room was spacious. It was quiet. I went to the gym next-door which was provided as a service with your room rental. It was a very nice gym with lots of equipment and good classes The cleaning staff did not clean our room one evening and the back of the stool leaked. The hotel was just okay.
The view from my window The transaction, the room, the bathroom...etc,
The only reason we booked this hotel was because it was near where we needed to be and had a bar attached to it. When we arrived the bar had a sign saying it was closed for further notice. Very disappointing and we will not be staying here or using kayak in the future.
The rooms were larger than most newer hotels. We were staying for two nights while the temperature outside was about 100. The air conditioning couldn't keep up with the heat. Our room after cooling for three hours was still 85. We got a refund and checked out, finding another hotel with adequate air conditioning. Otherwise, this hotel would be very adequate in cooler temps. The pool looked clean and nice. The river view on the back side of the hotel is nice, however the train tracks between the river and the hotel could be an issue. We didn't stay long enough to know if any trains use the tracks at night.
Close to downtown. Clean. Outdated.
The quiet Breakfast could be better
Old,smelly,not cozy,jail feel
Easy to find and cheap. Decent waffles and coffee. We had a very fun time with the staff and their family? in the morning since I believe we were eating breakfast right before it normally starts. They are quite the characters. Dirty toilet, it hadn't been cleaned, pee on the rim. It's a old hotel, and it just can't help but smell funny and feel dirty.
Nothing Charged my card more than what the room cost was, then tried to charge me 2 more times for the same room. No towels or washcloths, no soap of any kind, no cups for drinking water. The garbage can was filled with water and left in the bathtub. If it wasn't for a funeral I would have never stayed.
I would not stay there again and I would advise you other customers not to do so...I was in a business trip and was scared to wake up and find all my stuff stolen from my truck. Confirmed the reason I never stay in single star rated hotels. I was desperate.
Nothing Room was unsanitary, smelled horrible, filthy towels, garbage and bathroom had not been cleaned, carpet was gross, mold painted over everywhere!! It was not hard to realize this motel is used by agencies to give shelter to those who are in need of a place to stay. It was definitely not a nightly motel, more like extended stay. Walked away and found a different place to stay...didn't care about the money I lost!!
Bathrooms in desperate need of deep clean. Mold and grout bad shape. Ceiling moldy. Rooms reek!!!
We stayed 2 nights and our linen wasn't exchanged.
This was the cheapest motel we could find in the valley. It's got a good central location, we felt safe with all the cameras even if the clientele looked a little rough, fridge and TV worked, our dog was welcome and it was moderately clean. Bathroom had lots of little black hairs, bed was pretty stiff
Clean Fridge freezer was completely frozen full, couldn't get a water bottle in it to chill. No grab bar in shower. No liner for ice bucket Questionable lock on the door, no safety lock Needs to be updated, lavatory chipped, mat in tub a little cruddy around the edges
Love this hotel, go to lewiston every year, wouldn't even considering staying anywhere else. The rooms are clean, we can keep room temperature really cool which most hotels dont have. The complimentary breakfast is good. The have fresh baked cookies every day and last time they also had lemon water in the lobby. The stores within walking distance are fabulos! Fashion bug Safeway, Famous footware. Eddie bauer home to name a few.
overall nice motel. good location, nice view from the back side. clean and has what you need.
Close to everything. No problems. Staff was super nice, warm cookies out in the evening. :)
Lewiston was hosting a softball tournament and the front desk was very busy, Whereas you might expect them to be as short as possible to try to get guests processed, they surprised by treating the guests in front of us and us with dignity and respect, not attempting to rush anyone. I was very impressed. The room was clean and quiet, the fixtures in the bath all worked well. We stayed at 5 different places on this trip and the other 4 had faucets that were difficult to adjust . A small thing, but very irritating. I would definitely recommend this place.
Holiday Inn Express in Pullman was booked, so we picked this one with the idea of having to dread the trip back and forth to WSU. Not a chance. First off, excellent facility from the moment we parked the car. Friendly staff, very helpful and courteous right up until checkout. Arrived late in the evening and woke to one of the best mountain views I've ever seen from a hotel room window. Continental breakfast was exceptional. Restaurants and shopping easily within walking distance. Loved the pool and ice and soda machines located on every floor. If you're business/pleasure takes you anywhere near this hotel, don't pass up the opportunity. You won't be disappointed.
The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The front desk staff was helpful and courteous. We are looking forward to our next visit.
From our arrival the motel trated us extremely well. Our stay had to be expanded to allow our furniture to get here on Monday, July 21. The staff was very willing to help us get thingd set up for the extended stay.
The room was very comfortable. The motel made extra efforts to help us since I am disabled.\nI did have to go to the hospital emergency room, the staff was helpful in getting an ambulance etc. for us. The morning breakfast bar was very welcomed. I feel our stay was very pleasant and friendly.
Clean rooms; excellent beds; super service; pool was great; breakfast was different (more to it than we've been used to) and excellent. Would highly recommend this site. Worth the few extra bucks!
I visit this area monthly. This is the cleanest hotel with the best value in the area. Very clean and comfortable rooms, good continental breakfast, wireless internet that really works, quiet rooms.'
PRICE! Lovely welcome. Bed was so bad I had to sleep on it with my head at the feet rather than go into the deep burrows created by 1000's of other sleepers. No working ice machine. Clean but in such disrepair... no plug for tub broken stuff. It could be a cute retro motel with a little upkeep and some new beds.
clean and simple with handy restaurants nearby
The room was nice. We got there late and left early so I don't have much to say. Breakfast had a nice variety. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, yogurt, oatmeal and pastries. There was a very nice lady woman working hard to keep food out. Low water pressure in the shower. The waffles tasted a little off. My son thought they were sourdough! We tossed them and enjoyed the hot biscuits instead.
Clean room at inexpensive price.
Really not much. Dirty.
Good location, good price. Wish they had a lounge/bar!
Pool We were next to the sprinkler room and was kept up all night. Not to mention we stayed here 3 nights. Complained to office and they finally moved us after a big arguement
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. They were friendly and interactive... It's too close to paper mill so when you go outside it stinks so bad you want to gag

Very quiet room and clean room, comfortable bed. Awesome Jacuzzi bath tub. Great complimentary breakfast.
Location No Elevator so going up the 2nd floor with 2 heavy luggage is a chore via stair way at either end of the complex
staff, location, room accommodation, quite water pressure
Location, No fitness room, outside doors were broken so hallways not secure, Minimal breakfast
