Bed was comfy and the pool was beautiful. Wish I could have stayed longer and when it was less rainy

It felt like home. Everyone here was super friendly and kind. They always would sit and engage in a conversation and made me feel like I had been here my whole life. I'll definitely come back the next time I come to Los Angeles!

We really enjoyed our stay at Anderson Estates. Angela and Leila and all the other guys of the hostel staff were so friendly. We felt like home because the house is so beautiful and has a vintage touch (build by a famous actor from hollywood!) and you can easily meet nice people from all other the world. The beds and rooms were cozy and we felt very safe in this area of LA since It was a nice neighborhood. Metro is 5 min to walk from the Appartement. To Santa Monica and downtown it takes you with the metro around 45 min - 1 hour. By car / Uber around half an hour (Depends on traffic since LA is very busy all the time). The breakfast was also very good: Waffles, pancakes, fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, sausages, cornflakes, fresh coffee, orange juice ... We loved to start our day like this and meet nice people from all over the world. At our last day we could stay the whole day in our room although check out was 10 am and that was so good since our flight was late in the evening. Also they gave us some water bottles for our way home - they were everytime so helpful and friendly. I would definitely choose the hostel again and we can really recommend this place!! According to booking.com there is a possibility to rent a car at the hostel - but that’s wrong as we heard.
