Lite rörigt i receptionen.
Nära Atoche Renfe (järnvägsstation, söderut i Spanien. Fina rum.
Carlton i Madrid.
We chose it only for its proximity to the Prado and it was great to be right across the Paseo. It was our first hotel in Spain and therefore the room seemed quite small, but not unusually so judging by most hotels we stayed in afterward.
location of the hotel is good. Very close to the Prado museum and Parque del retiro. 500 meter to Atocha train station where you can take high speed (and normal) trains to other Spanish destinations. Also, if you don't arrive too late or too early you can take the airport express bus to Atocha station. Is however on a 2x4 lane street but it has 2 windows, 1 with 'single' glass and another one with double glass so it keeps the sound from outside away (however the inside sounds are passed on rather easily...). Hotel has free wireless internet. doors are with key cards. no mini bar, though it does have a hair dryer. the hotel does not offer breakfast though reception is connected with a small restaurant next door where you would be able to eat something. there are other places around as well where you can get breakfast. food is ok but not spectacular.
Great location in Madrid. Close to train station,Prado, downtown Madrid. Easy walking around area. Restaurant was very good and convenient.
Well-located. Internet access. Quiet, despite location on a busy road. Cheap for a city hotel. My room stank of stale cigarette smoke. The cafeteria was closed for the week, meaning that there was no food available in the hotel, but there had been nothing on the website warning of this. Staff were surly at times and not particularly welcoming.
Even if there are many better location hotels around this area, location could be their strength if you want to visit museum or other area of city to take a day trip departure at atocha station. The quality of staffs is suspecious, room was not deserving fair enough space.
Great location for visiting the big three Madrid art museums and near the railroad station. Some rude behavior by a few staff members, especially one evening waiter in the restaurant.
The location is fantastic and it is fun to visit the restaurant and enjoy watching the local folks. Our room faced the main avenue that runs past the Prado and was amazingly quiet. It was the best night sleep we've ever had in lively Madrid. The hotel staff could be a little more proactive in dealing with customers questions.
Very central, clean, easy Small room, could not turn of the radiator which was very hot during the nights
The staff was very professional and extremely helpful. They made a show reservation and advised on special cab arrangements to the airport. Each person was helpful when asked but were not overly pushy. The rooms were very comfortable and provided the essential needs. Very convenient to museums, parks, bus/cab service, train station and easy walk to various plazas/restaurants. Lack of some artwork/pictures in rooms. Ice machine in hotel.
Location, Staff, price Air conditioning noisy
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was cute and clean and had all the necessary amenities. Simple, but sufficient. The location is so convenient to everything in Madrid! There was no AC but the fan was loud, so that made it a bit difficult to sleep in the hot weather at the beginning of September, although I can't imagine that's a problem most of the year. Also it would not be very accessible to anyone in a wheelchair, because although there is an elevator, there are still six or eight steps down to the hallway from where the elevator was located, at least on my floor.
Location is very good. Very nice staff Room was very noisy so any sounds from the road will wake you up. Next to a club. Only 1 plug point in the room so hard to run both thd fan and charge mobile ANC laptop. Spring bed will sink from knd side. You can't sleep for long or sit.
The location is probably the only benefit. Everything else was bleak. I already don't like Madrid. I love Spain but Madrid is just unpleasant. This is only my opinion based on my experiences. I really hoped Hostel Buelta would change that. This was part of my exit strategy before I headed back to America. The nearby parking was €24,00 for about 12hrs on a Sunday night. I paid the same in Lisbon on a weekend for nearly 48 hrs. The hostel itself was just run down and bleak. It had no comforts. Simply a place to wash and sleep. Not worth the price. There are nicer places in the area.
Fantastic location and price. Friendly staff and private rooms available . Free wifi for multiple devices Small, old and outdated building. Minimal amenities. Noisy (You can hear everything all around your room). But it's clean and staff is friendly. You really don't need much more if you will be out all day in the city.
Hotel is conveniently located close to the Atocha trains station. Easy access to Madrid's metro system, just around the corner. Several restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores in the surrounding area. Great place to go and re-charge for the next day...................
The hotel is in an amazing locations. Close to lots of attractions and fun things to do. The room was very clean and have a cool vibe. Very spacious and lots of amenities. The desk attendant forgot to give me my passport back - I felt a little weird about that.
The owners are very nice The rooms are close to the big avenue so, a lot of noise
The hostel is very close to the train station and many good places to eat. It's ideal if you're carrying big packs as your luggage because it's only a five minute walk from the station. The area is safe and lively. I think the price reflects the room but it was great for a night and very clean. The staff is very kind and speak some English and helped us with everything we needed! It was a challenge to find the hostel because the sign is not very visible. I also think the name has changed a bit which was confusing. It's also pretty noisy from the window because you are in a very busy area of town.
Perfectly situated, next to most major attractions. Rooms are cozy and clean. We will certainly come again.
Good location near the Atocha train station and very clean, modern room. But be sure to bring ear plugs as it does get loud from the street noise. Very good bathroom, albeit very small -- just know to bring your own toiletries, including own soap. Great value for the money and would stay again.
the location & the view is great. room is very clean and silent.
Ideal location. Although they spoke no English (and why should they)the staff we met always managed to understand our limited Spanish and were friendly and helpful.Rooms were spotless and beds made each day we were there.
Location. 10 min walk to Atocha and Reina Sofia Museum. 2 min to Anton Martin Metro. Small but nice and clean room. Ideal for short city trip. At night was bit noisy from the street and the other rooms.
The hotel staff was super friendly, and the room was very nice and chic.. We booked the Large Double Room which was spacious and great value for money.
Heavy noice from the streat
Very small rooms but simple and clean. Morning lunch bag at your door with a self serve coffee machine downstairs in a lounge area. It was friendly and great.
great location, helpfull staff, modern interior, coffee machine and water at disposal the breakfast (bag) should contain few more items
Good space in room, good clean and modern furniture, not overwhelming and very trendy. Good location. Some artwork on the walls will be helpful. Need to provide wash cloth/ loofah for the bathroom and more care supplies: conditioner, body wash, lotion, tissues, etc.
the cleanness and environment, the hotel staff and the new look of the hotel there was not enough space to put all the things in the room
This time a quiet rom
Ease of check-in and out, helpful/friendly front desk, great that it was 5 minutes from the train station Breakfast too basic/uniform, emergency light in room was too bright at night
This was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. Hotel staff was very helpful.
