Well I like the breakfast buffet that's all. This wrongly starred hotel do not offer airconditioning in their rooms ,do you believe that. If you are asthmatic do not stay here, super dusty rooms, damp bathrooms ,no airconditioning means no air filtration This hotel is 2 not a 4 star hotel , when you see the name you think well Petit is a nice name but when you arrive at the hotel you realize that everything is really petit indeed from the tiny reception ,to the tiny elevators, tiny restaurant, tiny room.
the location of the hotel is excellent, near to the metro station and at a walking distance from touristic sights, the staff was helpful answering all my questions and the room was small but cosy.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms where clean and the location was perfect, we could walk to everything. The free Wifi was great as well.
Very centric location, hotel staff very friendly. Small very agreeable terrace with a view to the roofs of the center of Madrid, in which it is possible to eat anything that is bought in the same street.
The Hotel Receptionist was very helpful and they have good internet conection.
Help from staff The rooms are basic
Location are very good, close to Gran via, Sol. It takes about 10 min walking. Personal speaks english and they very helpful. Small rooms, not conditioned but the is roof fan, there is no lift and the hotel in 4th floor.
Ett hotstal med perfekt läge i Chueca som ger värde för pengarna. Det finns ingen hiss och ligger på 4 - 5 våningen, så att gå alla trapporna upp varje gång var lite jobbigt.
Room was quite hot and loud (bakery noise from 6.30 am on); bathroom very small, no breakfast but gratis drinks in fridge.
Good location, clean and good service. But very loud at night, especially weekends, very close to bars and windows didn't seemed to be sound proof. Room too small for two people and shower was way too small. Too loud hard to get a good night sleep
Location, fridge with free non-alcoholic drinks, cleanliness of the room. Small size of the room, specially size of bed. Room needs a little bit of maintenance.
excellent single person room with pc, kettle and fridge and balcony no visitors after 11 rule was bad
position and personal computer available with internet connection included small room, but very well equipped
First, the owner, Jose, was a true gentleman who took time to explain everything to me including how the big jacuzzi in my room works. My room was spotlessly clean! Don't be fooled by the 1 star pension, it has characteristics of a much higher rating hotel such as free drinks from the mini bar and light snacks/breakfast, individually controlled air conditioning, black out curtains and shades and I believe the windows were soundproofed because I didn't hear much even though it is in one of the busiest night life areas of Madrid, Chueca. The bed was very comfortable and the room had nice design touches in the decoration. Jose and the woman that works there at night made me feel in my own home. All this for 80 Euros (I had the deluxe room No
Great location. Free minibar and snaks (light drinks only). frandly stuff. hardly speek English
Room was cozy, snacks were plentiful and close to good shopping
Cleanliness, location, helpful staff, nice design. The shower was a bit small, but I'm really tall.
the location is perfect, just 2 minutes away from the metro station
The room was big, actually they were two rooms plus toilette, it felt allmost as we were in our own flat! The view we got was spectacular! We got a room in floor 13 so you could see almost everything in Madrid from up there. It was easy to buy some food and make an easy cooking there instead of eating everything on restaurants. We didn't have liquid soap to wash the dishes that we left there.
The air-conditioner and tv in my room was just fabulous. One of the receptionist help me a lot about sending packages by POST.Thank you very much! For the second day I was there my bathroom towels wasn't changed.
This hotel is cheap and is in the city center! and the security, cleanliness was excelent
i don't like this hotel at all staff completely unable to speak English. The room is very small, towel was not refreshed second day.
Location excellent; room basic, clean, comfortable and exceptional value.
Well located. Language other than Spanish poses a problem.
Excelent location, 5m from Gran Via and the subway. Nice, clean and cosy. Friendly staff. The room was really small, but I've stayed in much smaller hotel rooms in London. The Odesa is a gay-friendly, but very respectable hotel and for its rates and location, ideal to spend a few days in Madrid. (note that I am not gay and didn't feel "unconfortable" at the Odesa)
Silence, friendly staff, location,
Rooms are big enough There is only one floor, the reception is near our room
Great location, cosy room, everything what you'd expect from a budget hostel. We had a hard time talking to the ladies from the hostel (they speak only Spanish) but once you have your own key to all the doors, no one really bothers you.
Newly renovated clean rooms with new TV, ideal for gays, just in the heart of gay area The rooms are little bit too small and can be rather loud.
I originally booked a room for 2 people but then had to ammend it to 3 people. I was afraid that this would cause some confusion when we arrived. When we got there the staff (although I had little Spanish and they had little English) were very helpful and we quickly got a room for 3 people. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The location was fantastic, near a Metro stop and lots of shopping and places to eat. If you want luxury and a romantic trip I would not recommend this hotel, but if you need somewhere to stay for a couple of nights while doing some sightseeing and exploring in Madrid it's perfect.
The Staff were friendly and polite despite my lack of spanish. My room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable for this particular trip. two things really...english TV would have been good, and Tea and Coffee facilities in the room would have also been good.
Tha staff was so helpful and joyful :)I suggested to aLL my friend already. I didn't made the ticket for the metro neither. we've been walking around all the time.
Friendliness It was a little too close to the area where the ladies of the night work !
The staff was friendly and very helpful. The street noise was tough, because it was a weekend night.
The location is perfect. 5 minutes walk to Sol. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff were friendly. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs cos Fuencarral can be a noisy street.
The Hostal is simple but well equipped. It was nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The staff were lovely, making it a pleasure to stay. It is a great location. The hotel is noisy with very thin walls, as are many spanish buildings, so ear plugs are a must! For us that solved the problem.
The breakfast is all-you-can-eat. Although all those food are from supermarket at very low price, that's still enjoyable. Also, the staff at counter are fluent in English and willing to answer or solve problems. Finally, the kitchen is clean and easily to use. A 7-people room is just too more. Although the bathroom is clean, it lacks privacy. The door of bathroom even doesn't have a lock! (And lack a hook to hang your clothes when you are showering)
