I liked the room and the way it was organized. I liked how it was set up for longer stays. The bathroom was nice. The bed was comfortable. Lots of storage, a safe for valuables, smoking options. I especially liked how helpful everyone was. I was able to walk to an atm, a grocery store, and mini stop is just downstairs. Lots of taxis and the guard stops them for you. A jeep will take you straight there on that street. Very clean. Had a window, great price for an exec suite. There were some ants in the room that got to my candy. But maybe that was from my backpack because we traveled to Manaoag. Furniture was a lil dated. It was noisy probably due to that room's location but I was still able to sleep. No elevator so bags had to be carried but they do it for you. Phone calls had to be transferred by the front desk but they were free.
Nothing Somehow, all of the reviews failed to mention that this hotel was above a popular spot to pay for some action. Hookers aside, the room was very dark, the bathroom door did not shut, the blinds could not be completely closed, and the entire room was crawling with small cockroaches (I spotted at least 6). There was an excessive amount of mold on the bathroom ceiling and the bath towels were old, dingy, and severely stained. The wifi was so poor it took about 30 seconds to load each page. Upon checkout the next day, I asked the front desk if I could use their phone (as there was not one in the room) to contact my Uber, who couldn't seem to locate us (as the hotel is located on the second floor, and the wifi kept disconnecting). They informed me that they could not, because they could not call cell phones from their landline, and did not offer any assistance. I have been staying at cheaper hotels throughout my entire month stay in Asia and this was by far the worst one and the most expensive.
if you are looking for a plush hotel with 5-star treatment, then this is not the hotel for you. if you have traveled to Asia and the Philippines in the past, and you know what it is like, then you will not be surprised by this condotel as it is typical of the 3-star hotels in Manila (Makati.) Location is excellent being that it is located right across the street from the new Greenbelt Mall where there are many fine dining and entertainment establishments. This central location is only minutes away from major business locations depending on what you are in the Philippines for. If you are there on vacation and budget is a concern, then this may be just the place for you!! Unlike the other review, I have never had any problems with the staff at this hotel. Treating them with respect will go a long way with them! On the same note, I have had rooms where there was a problem, and the staff worked hard to find me a new room to meet my needs. As mentioned, it depends on what you are loo...
- Would not stay again. Stayed April 09. 3 nights Service was terrible. The breakfast, lets just say it had some orange juice, I think. Room smell was hard to describe.Checked another room ,it was just as bad but different smell. Bed was a thin mattress of foam material.Very uncomfortable Front desk did not seem to be concered about complaints, which were numerous. Will not stay there again. Recommend that it be taken from your listings. I say this because this is the first trip that I have made to the Far East using your service and I understand that you cannot know everything about the accomidations in each country unless you have someone to tell you how they are.
Very friendly staff, laundry service just downstairs, very close to Greenbelt mall and market area.
Cheap but a few cockroaches. I like the location and the White Plate restaurant is nice. Aging
Checking out. Not safe, hotel or neighborhood, terrible location, no taxi could find it with a map. no inside lock on door. staff inspects every time you go out--no problem but they left door open even after 3 requests. Shower ridiculously too small--like showering in the Pope mobile. No bathroom floor mats. Two pages of rules, do's n' don't's to sign and agree to extra fees for infractions... after you check in. Cafe wayyyy overprice-- extra charge if you have food delivered, or if you bring take-out (maid checks trash can and reports it). Big promo sign offering free bkfst for 3-day stay, but did not get. When I inquired they ignored me like it didn't matter. no trash can in bathroom, only warning sign to use it. extremely rude on check-in.
the good service render by the front counter staffs and the bellboy. not easily to locate the hotel as most of the taxi driver couldn't find it and also has to minute walk to the main road to flag a taxi as this hotel is located in the small road.
The Cafe and staff No wi-fi access
Good price if you pay cash The hotel is nice boutique style Very little street noise, quiet building Its central in Makati, if you have business there. no internet in rooms, only computer in lobby. Small rooms. Room service food not very good for the price. Some smoke smell from outside. Makati may be abit far from the best tourists spots and nightlife.
The staff there were very friendly and tried to help you out in whichever way they could Though all the rooms are smoke free, the common corridor outside the rooms seem to be where smokers would go, thus the area outside the non smoking rooms are really, rather smokey!
Close to main city Very old and not clean.
The female staff heard my complaint without making me feel it was my fault. No. It was good
Fantastic people run the hotel. They are more like family. No
Proximity of the airport
every1 is friendly and helpful
It was cheap and they had AC. It's a bit far away on the edge of the Makati district, so you won't be super near the action. Plus the area is a little sketchy, although not too bad to really worry though.
Not Much The Staff did not help, only the gentleman in the kitchen was very helpful.
Friendly and courteous personnel. Smoking in the corridor outside my room.
