Everything is outdated . Customer service is the worst Customer service , Bath rooms , No towels , Breakfast included but still you have to pay for it .
I liked the place, its really nice. the staff at night are not too friendly i guess..breakfast was not included so they made me pay for it
Very bad customer service...we had 1 person before us being help for check in....and we waited at least 1hour!!!!!! Very hot in the hotel....very bad air conditioning in the room. Will not go back there for sure
Nice pool Horrible staff. Rude, could not provide basic info (I.e. How to ship a package). They will also try to get you to pay cash in the bars/restaurants. I fell for it once and the waiter pocketed the cash and billed it to my room--he even added a healthy tip to the room charge! Unbelievable.
the hotel is both beautiful and relaxing. the staff are very well trained, and friendly. it is a place you are happy to come back to after a day out. the pool is very well sited, and not visually intrusive. the grounds are very well lit.
Delightful hotel that was a haven in bustling Marrakech. A wonderful swimming pool set amid orange trees was a welcome retreat after the busy streets. A delicious breakfast was served on a tree filled, shady terrace. The rooms were beautifully decorated and bathrooms equipped with very good products that were available in the hotel shop. A convenient location too. The staff were very helpful and charming, but could have been more knowledgable in recommending restaurants
This is a charming oasis amidst the chaos that is Marrakech
The food was good in the evenings and nice grounds The room was small and dark and seemed over priced
The hotel welcomed us warmly to what was a haven of calm and relaxation. The central gardens are charming and well maintained; the food excellent although a little expensive as were the drinks. Staff were helpful and friendly but information about the city and things to do and see a little scarce. The bathroom was very basic and not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. The bedroom had very limited storage, no drawer space at all so we found ourselves living out of our suitcases.
The enclosed gardens were lovely and we had a large, pleasant room. The bathroom was awful - there was black mould around the bath and the walls were stained. The toilet seat had a broken hinge which had black dirt in it - but they did throw rose petals in the bowl!. Otherwise the room was good. The service at breakfast was very poor - I had to ask a waiter three times for some butter and milk, and if you had breakfast late, there were things missing from the buffet.
Great hotel in the Medina, good location. Beautifully decorated and large rooms with terrace. Pool and the garden are nice. Staff is very friendly, helpful and service minded and will make sure your stay is comfortable. Spa treatments are highly recommendable. One minor comment is that there could be some bees during the breakfast.
good service non extistant business center
Cuisine, garden, helpful staff, comfortable bed. swimming pool Room was too dark
Staff always cheerful and helpful; ambience pleasurably exotic but comfortable Food, though well-cooked, tended to be a touch slow in arriving but not to a disagreeable extent - after all the general ethos was that of unhurried leisure, proper for a holiday.
Impressive building in a good location The Riad was quoted as having 2 gourmet restaurants which was incorrect. There was no chef on our first night and the food on the night we did eat was very basic. The details also listed 2 pools when there was only 1. The cost of everything was very high for Marrakech.
The location and the agreeable feeling inside thanks to a beautiful decoration.
great hotel staff over all, and especially japanese staff working really seriously and professionally. It was great service for everything. The restaurants recommended by hotel staff were all excellent. No pick up car (from airport) luxury enough like Mercedes, there's only regular 4x4. It'd be nice to have one nice car available.
the atmosphere in mid of town service standard in restaurant was much below our expectations
Excellent service, beautiful hotel. Great location to main square. We loved every minute!
There is no Wi Fi and there was only one Internet computer, always busy with kids playing games. On the other hand, the pillows are huge, and we had to remove the pillow inside and put towels inside the pillow case in order to be able to sleep.
Bathroom was broken. Heat was not working. Poor response to complain. Needed heat. Wifi only in lobby. Not enough signals to rooms Bathroom door lock broken
The riad was in the Medina, it was clean, safe and comfortable. When things did not work, they were fixed promptly. Youssef, our host was very friendly and sat down with us on the first day and gave us good tips on where to go. We felt a bit uncomfortable waking Mehdi up every night to get back into the riad, but we guess it is to make the place safer by not giving you the front door key. It had a teenie weenie splash pool.
Excellent staff that make your stay fantastic, they were very helpful and did anything we asked them to. The accomodation was excellent
the staff was incredibly nice, the service was great, the swimming pool is a good treat when its 40 degrees at night. you can see the whole city from the roof terrace. the room was spotless and tidy. there is a hammam close by and the hotel is on a hidden quiet street. with its 5 rooms it gives you a "home-like", cozy feeling. definitely recommendable.
Although the bustling noisy and vibrant main square was only an easy 5 minute walk away following Youseff's really clear directions, once through the discreet front door of the Riad Dar Beldia the atmosphere was one of total peace and calm. From the air-conditioned room to the cool plunge pool and the sun loungers on the small sunterrace everything conspired to promote a wonderful feeling of respite and relaxation. Youseff and his family were very welcoming and his knowledge and advice helped make our first stay in Marrakech a fabulous experience.
Excellent location - really easy to find from the main square although would recommend using their airport transfer when you first arrive - they arrange it all for you via email and someone is waiting for you at the airport. Wonderful terrace to chill out on. Staff were all friendly and helpful, but discreet - family ran which gave it a great homely vibe. Super clean and maid came in room everyday and tidied up. Fantastic value for money - good breakfast - can eat it out on terrace which is nice. Management arranged a great trip out of the city for us which was good value for money too. Would deffo stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.
I loved the Riad from the very first sight I saw it. It's a newly-built one beautifully decorated in authentic Moroccan decor. The roof terrace is also a great spot for sunbathing. The Riad has a nice small pool. What's more wonderful than the riad is its manager Youssef. He could not do enough for us. He was there to arrange anything we needed; He bought train and bus tickets for us without any extra charge. He helped me to get a very nice tea pot in a reasonable price. I even got free lessons on making a mint tea in Morrocan style. Staying in a hotel was a real fun. The location is wonderful: not too far from bustling Jamal Fna. I can't wait until I get back to Marrakech and the Riad again...
a lovely Riad in the old Medina, brilliant
We stayed three nights at Riad Dar Beldia and were thrilled with the accomodation. The riad is located in the southern end of the medina, about a 10 minute walk from the Jemma Al Fna square (sp?). We had the Riad arrange to pick us up from the airport, which is probably the easiest way to find the riad. Once here, Youssef provided us with a map and spent a half hour or so with us to get our bearings and helped us plan our time here. He picked up our train tickets to Fes for us (saving us a trip to the station) and also set us up with a taxi and driver for a day trip to the Atlas Mountains. The riad itself is down a derb (side street) where it is quiet and cool (relatively speaking). The rooms are very nice and clean and the pool provides a
Good location near main square and medina, clean, nice and friendly staff. Hard to find without help, but that is case with most of riads in city center. Surrounding streets not very clean, but still great location.
Experience Moroccoan hospitality at its best. This is a great place. The staff is really helpful and flexible and was really helpful in giving us directions. They make you feel like a friend but are still professional, a great accomplishment. The place is pretty and quiet in a good location away from the tourist traps, a good location to explore the real medina. Importantly, it is a short walk to several key sites. The pool is a god- send on hot days and the rooms are well kept and well air-conditioned. The bathroom was the prettiest on our month long holiday. It feels like I imagine a riad should. A definite recommend.
