We really liked the modern design of the restaurant and rooms. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the size of the room is adequate for Parisian standards. The breakfast offers a huge variety and is available until 11am on weekends, which is great. The hotel is very conveniently located in a quiet street and ideal to discover the different areas of Paris.

Upon our arrival, our booking couldn’t be found in the system which delayed the check-in process. Our room just had a single small window, which made the room a bit dark.

Close to Gare du Nord station, which we arrived at. Close to Metro stations, which we used to travel around Paris. Lots of Restaurants & cafes very near to the hotel.

Loved this hotel. I booked it for a two night stay in Paris for the wife's birthday. The impression I got from reviews was accurate: the hotel is quite luxurious yet understated, with a sense of quality and style that lasts. During my stay, my main impressions were how comfortable and quiet the room was, how well the staff looked after us, and how spotlessly clean and well-maintained the whole hotel was, especially the room and bathroom. I also liked the location of the hotel. Because I had been to Paris before I knew this area was a good compromise, centrally located between the north bank of the river, the posh west end, the trendy east end, and the charm of Montmartre in the north. We walked a lot and only caught the metro a couple of times, yet a metro station on a main line is just a couple of blocks from the hotel. We found there were also lots of good nighttime spots in the nearby streets, including some interesting bars and a zillion restaurants. Some other features I liked were the shower, which has a door that actually works (!), the ability to open the windows, and the valet parking. The parking, while not cheap, was typically priced for Paris and helped a lot with unloading bags and finding a space. Just stop right outside the hotel (park illegally if you have to), drop by the front desk and let them know you're there with a car.

I found that the bar area was quite humid during the wet and rainy autumn days. The air conditioning in our room also didn't seem to make much difference - I suspect the whole system is only turned on in summer? I was relieved to find we could open the windows in the room. It would have been nice to have an iron in the room, but we just asked and one was provided promptly.
