Colosseo Panorama

Exceptional location for exploring Rome. Very near to the Colosseum, an easy 5/10 minutes walk away. Good restaurants to suit all budgets across the road. Good size room with ensuite bathroom. Tastefully decorated.

Would have liked a kettle and cups so that hots drinks could be made. But we are English and like our tea! Fridge was provided which is a bonus. Bed a little firm and could benefit from a mattress topper. However, so busy exploring all Rome has to offer, it didn't keep us awake at night as we were so tired.

Location was great, there is a tram stop just outside and the train is less than a 10 minute walk but the view of The Colosseum out your window is awesome, the reason I chose this hotel in the end. The room and the bathroom though are exceptionally clean and comfortable, looks newly renovated, comfortable beds, great price and would definitely stay again. The owners are very lovely too and more than helpful. There's a cafe a block away by the traffic lights towards the Colosseum that makes great coffee and some good restaurants in the other direction a couple of blocks away.

I could have done with 1 more towel, I don't need my bed changed daily and have no problems reusing my towel for a short stay however leading into the 4th day (checking out later that day) I was probably ready for a new one so might be worth asking. Excellent stay overall.
