Andaz Xintiandi, Shanghai - a concept by Hyatt

A perfect, luxury and modern hotel in the heart of Shanghai. I adore it! The city view of our room (on 25th floor) was just indescribable. Staff was very professional and helpful.

The internet was very slow.

The front office team was amazing. They have helped me prepared an anniversary surprise for me as per my request. They were very supportive and eager to help out with my needs.

The staff is so helpful! Thanks everyone for making my stay comfortable

Great location, good facilities and services

Food was excellent

The housekeeping staff kept coming into my room to clean whilst I was still in the room. It was vey annoying.

The location is in Xintiendi area, very convenient . There are lot of restaurants and cafes nearby.

Everything. Xintiandi area is by far my favourite in shanghai. Andaz and Langham the centric top hotels. Slightly favour the latter. But Andaz also super good.

Gym is good but in the cellar. No light. Minor detail.

construction effects the stay

The location was excellent. Close to the metro & all the night happening spots. Going to all the regular attractions was very convenient. We had booked for 3 pax with 2 beds, however 1 bed could not accomodate 2 persons. We luckily got an extra bed put in but then there was hardly any space in the room. Breakfast was standard at this type of hotel but the price was too high....180 RMB. I did not feel it was value for money.

There could have been smoking rooms at each floor. Breakfast is too highly priced.

Staff are nice and warm from every single one. Friendly and easy to communicate.

The car park smells terribly. We have stayed the hotel for the third year, every time the car park smells awful. No improvements.

There is only 1 problem: The shower is not good, need to wait for long time for the hot water, but it's never hot enough. If this can be improved, it would be perfect!

Fantastic services and very good facilities. The shower place is especially amazing. Location is very good too. Only a couple minutes walk to a subway station.

The view from our room is not good at all. We saw a dirty roof of an old building. Big contrast.

Everything was spotless and the design of the hotel was beautiful. All the amenities needed are there and the staff was incredible helpful. The location could not have been better. It’s a one minute walk to Xintiandi and a ~40 minute walk to French Concession. Central to everything, our stay could not have been better.

Amazing service - very friendly, helpful and eager to please! Genuine service from people who enjoy their work. Lovely 24 hour drinks station open with tea, coffee, water, apples, and sweet pastries.

The pool was closed for renovation and we didn't find our until we got there - but they did offer access to a pool right next door.

Very broad choice...what can you say about breakfast....

It took me a while to figure out how to close the curtains etc. My customer had the same problem.

It is really cool hotel. The rooms are clean with comfy beds, cool design, big bathrooms and amazing views. The location is just perfect, close to several subway lines and to French concession and other sights. Don't miss the gym and pool facilities! unlike some other reviews, I find it cool that everything in the room (lights, curtains etc) is controllable from a tablet (I was just afraid I will drop it and break the screen :-) so maybe they should put some protection around it). I stayed several times in Shanghai always in different hotels and I think this is my favourite so far!

Great location, close to subway station. Room was spacious and modern. Nice view of Shanghai. Helpful staff. Complimentary coffee, espresso, fruit, and pastries in lobby. Late check out available.

No charge near bed sides ... Breakfast quite expensive there

the checkin time is obviously too late compare to many other hotels here in China. Swimming pool is so so.

The hotel is very nice , modern and really comfortable . The staff is nice and helpful. Above all the location is amazing . A few steps from restaurants , shops and cafes . Centraly located really near the subway . Great choice !

I felt that the concierge wasn’t always avaible at the hotel so we didn’t have all the help we expect some times .

We loved the city views from the corner suite and enjoyed our bathroom facilities, particularly the toto toilet! The staff was always available to help. The gym was adequate. Andaz Hotel is in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Liked the set-up and decoration. Breakfast was delicious and personnel welcoming: don’t miss it!

Vance was amazing - he took great care of us from the moment we stepped into the hotel until we checked in. He showed us other potential rooms and was patient and kind with us. Great hospitality!

Beautiful rooms, clean, well trained staff, excellent location.

Overpriced breakfast, too high tech—-for example there are no light switches and you have to use a tablet to turn the lights on and off. Similarly the toilet seat goes up automatically when you approach the toilet and the toilet flushes automatically when you move away from it .

Coffee/tea, pastries, fruit and candy available all day at the reception lobby was a nice touch. The restaurant at the lobby served very good food, but wanton soup was exceptionally delicious.

the view is lovely and they were kind enough to upgrade me to a higher floor. Loved their bathroom as well. Had a great stay and will surely stay there again and do recommend it to couples since its the very centre. They also had 6-8 happy hours.

The bed and pillows are great, the bathroom is beautiful and the gym and sauna are a plus!
