some photos reference in booking.com for executive twin room are not relevant. there is no living room nor dining table, this has caused me to checked into something that was not what I have expected and planned for. I wanted a living to host a few friends. it is the king bed room that has a living room. luckily there are enough King bed room for the hotel to accommodate my request to change. thanks to Nina the front desk manager

Well designed hotel style room furnished as an apartment, with kindly prepared laundry & kitchen detergents for using washing machine & kitchen. It’s very comfortable stay when you travel a lot and it feels like home in Fraser. I think it’s good price in Shanghai for the room with own bath tube. Stuff is very polite. Normally very nice Mexican restaurant is opened in the same building.

Very nice small apartment. Location is the best. 2 min walk to everything. Times Square grocery is superb. Nice rooms with kitchen. Had some noise one night, someone was outside singing until 3:00am. Moved rooms, no problem the next night. Great pool nice gym.

Music from outside, odd, stayed here 5 times and it only happened one night.

- Comfortable bed with a wide range of pillows. - Deep bath and comfy bathrobes. - Washer/dryer great when travelling with a messy toddler.

- Pool was shut for renovations. - Construction on the second floor quite loud, some days until 9pm.

The room was beautiful, and we loved the location less then 4 min walk to the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We loved everything about Fraser Residence! The location was superb - so close to Nanjing Road, The Bund, etc. We walked it with three kids under 8. The apartment was spacious and clean. The staff were so lovely, very considerate and always making sure we were looked after. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Location in the center of everything, two nice restaurants within the building, gym, awesome view, friendly helpful stuff…

Great location- close to lots of the attractions and subway station about 5 mins away. Room was very comfortable with nice, modern facilities. Everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay.

Staff weren't very helpful- didn't explain anything, just took payment and sent us on our way. We didn't know how the deposit scheme worked so were a bit confused initially.

It was our 2nd stay at Fraser and I an happy to write that it was perfect again. Staff is friendly and helpful, apartment is clean, view to the city is amazing! I warmly offer it.

Cleanliness, location and the comfortable apartment.

Construction work outside and within the building from 6.00 am - 10.00 pm! We were not overly concerned as we were not always in the apartment and it is Shanghai - constant works and improvements being carried out all over the city. All staff in Element Fresh where we had breakfast each day were very polite and obliging however, a couple of the front desk staff could perhaps learn how to smile a little more and drop the imperious attitude!

The young male receptionist has gelped us a lot when we checked out Jan 1, 2019 9:00am. He saved us from going to the wrong train station. We were only asking for 2 taxis since there are 5 of us with luggages but he offered to book us a van to save money and even used his personal account to book it for us so we just paid him in cash. It was a good thing he double checked our destination and found out we were supposed to go to a diff train stn. He directed the taxi to the correct stn and gave my husband back the excess of what we paid him. He really saved our day or else we won't be able to catch our 12nn train ride!! Unfortunately, we were not able to get his name to commend him properly.

Convenient location with metro station and lots of food choices around the hotel. Gym is adequate for quick workout and the room is generally well kept.

Dashijie metro station was a 7-9 minute walk from the property. The French concession is right next door and all the big labels of fashion are too close for comfort :) what more could you ask for? Chris at front desk (the lady who helped me plan most of my excursions) was excellent. Nina (also at front desk) was worried that I’d injured my foot when I called asking for a first aid kit. It’s a great property for a couple, especially if you don’t like the crowds. Happy hour at Elements was amazing, too. The gym was extremely well equipped for what I had imagined.

The kitchenette needs a little work - as a designer I noticed that the finishing wasn’t great and it seems that in the bathroom tub, the wrong faucet was installed. It seemed more suitable for a kitchen than a bathroom.

So conveniently located close to tourist attractions. Very clean and well equipped unit. Just like home. Appreciate the warm-air blower on cold winter days. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The location is brilliant you’re close to everything shopping, MTR, restaurants. This is my fourth time staying at this property I really love this place but this time there were renovations taking place and it was very noisy.

They currently have major renovations going on on the second floor. It starts at 10 am and finishes at 8:30 in the evening. It was the sound of a jackhammer all day. When you’re in the foyer you could hardly even talk to the staff it was so loud. And the sound Vibrates through every floor in the building. I was staying on the eighth floor and you could feel it through the floor also the room next to me was being renovated and there was banging on work been done there. Again I stay this property regularly rate it very highly but currently right now it’s not a good time to be here if you want peace and quiet through the day. It is very quiet in the evening....

The hairdryer is not powerful enough. No hot air. Cold air blow. Takes a long time to dry hair in winter.

I have stayed here previously during visits to Shanghai. It is my accommodation of preference should they have apartments available during my trips.

It was all perfect. One thing to improve: the walking path coming from Dashije subway is not clear if you come by foot. One can get lost and think that the back entrance to the appartments is also part of the hotel, or then hesitate to walk along the building of Minsheng Bank (maybe women could be affraid that walking along the building will lead to a dead end, e.g. at night). There should be sign or a friedly path that guides people coming from this side.

I like everything at this apartment/hotel. Staff was very kind and helpfull at all times. Apartment was very huge and had everything you need to make you feel comfortable like beeing at home. Very clean and modern. Nice neighbourhood surrounded with many shops and restaurants. Close to city centar and close to metro station that can take you everywhere.

I liked everything

Location was great; a stone's throw from Huaihai Zhong Lu, making a good many restaurants and a supermarket accessible. Also within walking distance to People's Square. On-site restaurant was convenient for a quick meal, though slightly pricey. There was a miscommunication over a specific request: we confirmed that an extra bed could be provided, but check-in staff only notified us upon arrival that it could not be done because the room was too small. We used the king bed all right and were not charged for any extra cots in the end, but this mix up could have been handled better. Other than that, staff were courteous and responsive to requests for extra key cards and a late checkout. Room was very clean and had everything necessary.

Very good location and great hotel staff

Location is perfectly situates within the heart of Shanghai. both metro stations were in 5 min walking distance. Laoximan is just next to the hotel, it was lovely to buy local Shanhai style breakfast at the place where local people goes. Bedroom is spacious and clean. The bed is extremely comfortable. Staffs were helpful and friendly.

- During our stay, the swimming pool was under construction, so it was a bit piety. - Hot water in the bathroom takes quite a while to get heated.

Location was great, 400m walk to nearest subway Dashijie. Central Shanghai whereby accessibility to major shanghai attractions were convenient. Rooms condition was well maintain and clean. Only setback was tooth brush, comb and shaver were only available upon request.

Stayed with girlfriend in October 2019. Very friendly staff. Great facilities, gym, lounge. Room and bathroom was spacious. Wifi speed was OK.

Hair dryer subpar. Very little complaints otherwise.

should had told us about the green movement, no bedsheet change for 4 nights. bedsheet had stain and they did not even willing to change

The apartment was cleaned every day, it had a great view of the Pudong skyline, comfortable bed.The kitchen had all the appliances you needed, although we went out to eat every day. Also plenty of wardrobe space. Also had a washing machine and an iron with ironing board-which was handy as we were staying for 3 weeks. All in all it was a very comfortable stay. The receptionists were always very helpful. We would stay there again.

In my opinion we had everything in the apartment that we needed.

great location and walking distance to the metro. convenient as just opposite the hotel is a stretch of restaurant and morning market where we can get breakfast easily. Room have awesome city view. Studio room includes a mini kitchen with inbuilt oven, coffee machine, washing machine, dryer and fridge.

The rooms were very clean and well laid out with roomy bathrooms and easy to use kitchenette and washer/dryer.

Nothing much to dislike about the property.
