Nothing. You did not have services around you. You had to take the water taxi for $26 per person.
The rooms are very nice The price is way to expensive
Staff very helpful; clean, safe, close to location of morning business meeting No restaurants close (walking) distance - however staff well prepared with directions to and restaurants list for local mall
It's clean, the staff is great, and breakfast was solid. The freeway noise was super loud. Big rigs, harleys, and honking was easily audible in my room (325). Maybe get an even numbered room as I think those might be quiter. It's also in a no-man's-land in regards to anything nearby you might want (bars, stores, etc).
That's a difficult question. The people were outstanding in making me feel that I was important - they were courteous and cheerful. The facility was immaculate and well maintained inside and out. The amenities were exceptional. I wish that I could provide you a list of opportunities for improvement, but honestly, I can't. I could not have had a better experience than the one I had while staying at the Fairfield Suites in Tustin.
Modern No jet tub in the room
Great layout. Small space, but didn't feel small.

Both the customer service and the room accommodations. No.
New and clean hotel Rooms facing highway is quite noisy
New, modern, great amenities

breakfast was awesome: waffles, eggs, potatoes, meat, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt and toppings, breads, muffins, fruit, all sorts of drinks. The room was huge, with a nice, stocked kitchenette I wish we had more time to actually spend in it. We stayed here for our trip to Disneyland. Breakfast on the weekends is from 7-10. Disney Parks open at 8, there's not much time to eat breakfast and head to the parks for opening.
The place was extremely quiet. Hardly anyone was there. It had a desk that was great for working. The place was clean. Excellent value for the money. The wifi Internet was horribly slow, felt like dial up.
The shower was equipped with hand rails and bench Check out time was 11am.
Value for money. Clean, comfortable room. Benchmark of a $99 hotel. Free parking, free FAST wifi, great helpful staff--which are apparently hard to find these days. They put the best in Best Western. Nuff said. Breakfast was just ok, but the best among comparable hotels.
Front desk staff was not helpful at all. I had wanted a much quieter room due to another room being worked on. Too noisy ! Will not visit or recommend this particular best western . I have stayed at a best western in Brooklyn New York and they were way more helpful.
The staffs were really nice, good breakfast and nice swimming pool! The breakfast room was over crowded and the sink in our room was a bit stinky
It was very easy to book. I ended up having to book two separate nights at the last minute. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was satisfactory. The rooms were comfortable. The elevator was a little rickety.
Very clean place, loved the complimentary breakfast and other complimentary amenities. My friend and I had a hard time connecting to the wifi, but we didn't care about it too much to figure it out.
Asked for a quiet room, he put me in a corner on the top floor. Convenient location. Desk chair not very comfortable if you need to work for a while. Had to clean lime deposits out of shower head so it didn't feel like aquatic laser needles.
The rooms were nice, staff was friendly, beds were comfortable, location was easy to find. The breakfast is a bit chaotic. They need a bigger space for that. But the food was good!
Quiet, comfortable beds, spacious rooms. There was blood on my comforter, it took 45 minutes for the staff to bring a clean one.
Loved the heated pool and made to order breakfast!! Nice location, all staff was friendly. Definitely recommend it
Room was clean and just what I needed for the weekend.
Friendly staff, easy check in/check out. Rooms clean and well appointed. Good location, close to airport and other services. A little noisy, but only because youth football teams staying there at time of our stay.
Convenient location, professional staff, breakfast included with stay Rooms smelled of lingering cleansers of faint floral notes. I would rather like the smell of bleach or pine or citrus vs. Cheap fliral scent.
Great place, clean and quite, The beds are to small (full sides)
I chose the hotel because it has a pool, hot tub and a good location. I didn't eat the breakfast but I believe it was a typical hotel breakfast. The hotel is pet friendly and there is pretty good green spaces to walk your dog. The hotel is on a small street with several hotels. It is safe and conveniently located off the freeway and near restaurants and shopping in Tustin, Irvine and of course, Santa Ana. The hotel was pretty quiet although I did hear kids screaming at the pool which is located in the center of the hotel. The location is clean but it could use a deep clean such as in the vending machine/laundry room. The room itself was clean and comfortable but could use a facelift.
Liked the atmosphere, the room was nice and it was quiet at nught. The smell of musty carpet and dust. The dead plants.
The staff was spectacular and accommodating. The room was super clean. We left a little late in there morning on one of our travel days and the cleaning staff still refreshed our room. The value was great, we probably would have paid a little more for a double queen but I'm not sure they were available as this is my first time booking this hotel and honestly i didn't ask
I thought the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly . The closet door would not close, and the toilet was acting up but overall I had a good stay.
Room was large and price was less when I paid then when I booked which was a pleasant surprise. For the most part the staff were very kind. I called the front desk around 9:30 pm asking if he could run some scissors up to my room so I could cut something and he said they are here at the desk, so I said okay I'll just come down then I guess, and he hung up on me. I also noticed in the morning they answer with "Good Morning this is Ashley how can I assist you?" and at night they say "front desk". Thought that was a little odd.
The staff was very friendly. It was nice to have everyday room tidying. All basic necessities and the free wifi was greatly appreciated. Did not like the peanut butter at the breakfast. Very old and hard. Carpets did not seem like they are thoroughly cleaned or steamed often. No safe for valuables.
I could send a picture of the mold on the white comforter but there's no place to add it if I didn't get back to my room so late and needed to be at work by 6 o'clock the next morning I would have left it was that gross there was a hair or two left in the bathroom and the room just smells stale
Courteous staff, very accommodating
Easy check in process. A lot of parking. Comes with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Comfy bed. Pretty quiet. Breakfast should be extended since check out is at noon. Walls are a little thin. Could hear someone snoring next door.
After paying online for the room, calling to confirm the reservation and check in time, when I irrived and was told of the $75 deposit neded, had to drive to bank and make a deposit before getting sine rest from a 10hr dtive. Why isn't a deposit of nearly 60% of room cost mentioned prior to?
the bathroom didn't seem like they had taken their time to clean it. the bathroom sink handled were dirty. we got serviced but they still didn't clean the bathroom.
Good breakfast The Front Office Director is the worst ever, exactly the one who was Duty Manager on 5/23/2015. He is mean to the guests and does everything he can to NOT help them. I would have rated this hotel as average if it was not of this individual who ruined my day with my family.
Quick check in. Very clean room.Close to all our activities. 12 min to Disneyland,17 min to Laguna Beach. 5 min to Airport. Very good parking. Well lit grounds. Overall Great stay. Staff seemed very neutral.
A truly good hot breakfast. The maids didn't clean/tidy our room for the second nights stay. Also, the pillows are awful. The front desk offered a foam pillow, but it was never delivered! One of the two TVs didn't work correctly and maintenance guy said other rooms were problematic too. The wifi was slow most of the time. Lastly, having to pay $15 per night for parking is ridiculous. I did however get that waived because of all the mentioned room issues.
Friendliness of staff , very comfortable and the hospitality wa above and beyond. $15 per night parking
mediocre breakfast however great made to order omelets. All come with your stay which is worth the hotel in itself.
The suites are spacious and lovely; the breakfasts and happy hours, a wonderful feature. The heating/ac system is inadequate: although it was chilly at night, the system was not set to provide heat. The staff provided a space heater, but... not what I'd expect from a fine hotel.
Coctail hour and made to order breakfast was a great way to start and end the day The climate control for the room is based on the season and weather. It didnt get cold enough for my liking. No real complaint though
The size of the room was great, the location was easily accessible to the freeway, the complimentary breakfast was gteat, the cocktail hour was nice just maybe needed a better selection of alchohol. The public area could have been cleaner, room service trays would stay in the hallways all day, the elevators were in desperate need of vacuuming. The front desk staff could have been more friendly, upbeat, and helpful. We had a small issue the night before check out, my car battery died. I figured security could give up a jump in the morning ingredients when we checked out. Upon check out I asked if they could and the front desk agent saI'd no, we asked why and the answer was simply we can't. She suggested maybe we ask the valet, so we did and he said no. They had their shuttle vehicle, a big SUV, just sitting up front, I asked if they could use that, the answer was still no. Unfortunately they seemed to be okay with us being stranded in their parking lot. They were zero help, along with the fact they just didn't care.
Beatrice at the front desk was so much help, she directed us to all the coolest places to go. She made our stay amazing!
Good location, very nicely decorated. Employees were all very nice and helpful. Rooms had everything needed. Nice beds. parking was 20.00 valet daily or 18.00 self park.
The staff was always warm and welcoming. Cookies were delicious, hotel exceeded my expectations. Rooms were ridiculously clean. Pool was nice! $18/night for parking! Just know this ahead of time so you aren't surprised like I was haha :) Also, no fans in the restroom which is weird but we managed.
All the staff made you feel at home . The entire operation was very well run and the upkeep was fantastic so there really isn't a negative in my opinion .
The guys at the front desk have a back for hospitality and I loved the jokes!! The over all appearance is charming and welcoming. The room is well designed and comfortable. The price was extremely fair for the amazing value this hotel offers. I would gladly stay here again. Also I'd recommend it to anyone that inquiries about local hotels... The charge for parking... But I get it!
Location to airport and comfort of the room. Parking fee for self park was $18.00
No hassle got what I paid for
The rooms were absolutely beatiful and very clean. The staff was kind and helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. The hotel ist self was just beautiful and very well located. There was only one elevator for five floors or guest's, which was not very conducive to getting anywhere fast.
Clean and modern amenities, great location. Complimentary cookies and coffee are always a plus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking garage was a continual problem. Room keys did not function as intended to get in/out of garage gate, even after getting 3 different sets of room keys. Also, not enough parking spaces.
They had a room at an excellent price. We were stranded by Frontier Air with no options and had to extend our stay in So Cal. Quickly went to web and found this. I had stayed here before for work and found it a good value.
Location and luxury I did not like that we had to pay $18 for parking per day. Also how can breakfast not be included in our room for $100. I might as well have stayed at a 75 dollar hotel with free breakfast and parking!
The restaurant was severly understaffed both at dinner and at breakfast the following morning
The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel staff was polite and efficient. We stayed at this hotel to attend to the final details of my father's funeral. We were charged additional fees daily for parking, even though they had no parking available to us. Their lot is very small and we had to pay to park in a structure for a neighboring business both days. They also added to holds to our card for incidentals and didn't know why.
no USB port in the room
Very clean Parking was $18 for 2 cars
Clean No complimentary breakfast as indicated on Add; a bit misleading but ok none the less
Loved the staff and the cleanliness of the shower. This is an up to date hotel and you can't beat the price. If you need more coffee cups or cream and sugar the personnel at the reception desk will be happy to help. Parking lot fills up fast but the valet guy let us park in a spot close to the front.
Room was clean, location was great. Room's a little small.
Cheapest clean hotel I could find. Shower doesn't need but would be nice if was upgraded.
Very nice rooms, had pool and hot tub, very close to the airport, had free shuttle that worked great to get to the airport. No continental breakfast
Everything was great except the knock at the door at 8:00 a.m. From housekeeping wanting to clean the room. We had arrived very late & some of my group wasn't even awake yet. Then housekeeping proceeded to clean the adjacent rooms so loudly we all ended up getting up & getting ready bevausr it was so loud nobody could rest. If the point was to get us to check out early it worked. We checked out by 9:00 because it was so loud.
Decent looking, well maintained property overall. Good value for the money as we were able to get a nice room with a seperate living room space with hide-a-bed sofa and additional TV for $99.00 per night. Room also had mini-fridge, microwave and wet bar sink in the living room space. Bed was quite comfortable as well. Location is ok, about 25 minutes from Laguna Beach. Very generous breakfast buffet included each morning until 10:00 as well. Only negative is that the walls/ceilings are a little thin as there was some noise from adjacent rooms. Not too bad in our particular case but might be bothersome if louder teens or college kids, etc. were rooming next door. Overall I would say four out of five stars:).
The room was amazing! Cozy, yet spacious enough that everyone was comfortable. The breakfast is delicious! Very filling and satisfying.
the staff they are very helpful and cordial special thanks to the manager he is very nice when ask if every thing its ok with the breakfast and with the hotel thank you very much every thing was ok overall
Full breakfast meal and great staff Not as nice as the pictures showed onlinre
Staff was very helpful and nice. Free cookies from front desk at check in - our daughter loved that. Room was decent size and we had everything we needed. Would benefit from having even a simple continental breakfast, especially considering guests have to pay an extra $11 for parking. The breakfast is a little pricey, all things considered.
The room was very comfortable and clean, everything was fine. no
Service was superb. Friendly staff and accommodating. Nothing
Nice area and room was ok. And staff very helpful In first room sink got backed up stinking up room. But they did transfer us to another room
Everything but the size of the room was good to excellent. Everything! The room was narrow and compressed for two people, otherwise excellent. We will definitely stay again!
The manager Mr Kumar was very polite and granted me a early check in after driving 6 hours with the family. He Always greeted me by name. My daughter loved the lake with the duckies. The beds were uncomfortable and the breakfast wasn't worth the 15 dollars per person
Friendliness of staff. Room rate is reasonable. Difficult to communicate with cleaning staff. In seeing them on floor, asked them for a trashcan for the bathroom, box of facial tissues, etc and each of them could not understand. Had to ask at front desk for several times to finally get a trashcan. Towels were not replenished completely. For instance, only 1 bath towel would be furnished and face and hand towel would be missing. Suggestion: Have towels, tioletries, etc available upon request in an area behind front desk so housekeeping does not have to make a separate trip to a person's room. It appears time would be saved on part of staff plus one then has to wait until the staff comes by. Unusual and extremely bright night light does not turn off on top of coffee maker. Asked at front desk and a maintenance person was sent up. However, he did not speak English and could not explain or fix the situation. Instead he said I was in an Honor's Member Room. So we draped a towel over it at night to avoid the bright light shining all night long.
Good location for where I needed to be. Inexpensive. Room was clean enough. Good TV and cable service. WIFI worked. No Amenities. Not even a clock or a tissue box. No shampoo. Small towels. Small room. Old, beat up furniture. Loud AC unit. Saw a small roach in the bathroom. As I packed up and prepared to check out, there was no water service. Fortunately for me, I showered earlier.
Nothing They stole my Easter basket and all my juice from fridge
Comfortable and quiet bed Location of my room and elevator. Also, the WiFi was soooo slow. ~150kbit per second and lower for download throughout the facility.
Everything was cleanqnd set perfectly. The room was next to the laundry room so while the washer was on I though there was an earthquake happening
Everyone gave very good service
It was close to area I needed to be in. The rooms were old. It smelled funny. Our shower was not working. It took 10 minutes for the water to warm up from ice cold to luke warm, then while showering it became extremely hot to ice cold every other second. It was frustrating trying to take a shower.
Clean place and great location. No microwave in room and slow (free) wifi.
We've stayed at the Motel 6 chain a half dozen times. Last time was in Utah and I swore I'd never stay at a Motel 6 again. Prices being so high in the Newport Beach area, we decided to take a chance on this one. What a pleasant surprise! The room was exactly as pictured on the website, very spacious with a nice King size bed, perfectly adequate bathroom and a flat screen TV. Despite being next to the freeway, there was no highway noise and next to no noise in the hotel as well. Very peaceful overall. There was some disturbance outside our room around 5:30 am, sounded like a loud speaker or something. That was not a huge issue. The bigger problem is the lack of restaurants close by. All that is available is fast food and convenience stores. We chose the hotel because of it's proximity to Newport Beach; turns out that it takes almost 1/2 hour to drive the 9 miles because of the traffic. Not the hotel's fault, but next time I'd pay more to be closer to the beach.
Absolutely nothing. I have stayed at some questionable Hotels and Motels but this place was the worst. Upon my arrival, I was immeadiately told there were no rooms available. When I showed the worker at the desk my confirmation number, he told me he only had a handicap accessible room. I told him it was fine and he walked off. A few minutes later he returned telling me that the room was taken and he had no other vacant rooms. I told him I just needed a shower and a bed and he set me up in a room with a broken phone. I entered the room and found stained carpets, small holes in the walls, and a broken faucet that sprayed me when I tried to wash my hands. At checkout time, I waited 15 minutes while the new employee at the desk told another person staying at the hotel that it was not his problem that someone broke into their room and that it was not his responsibility to call the police.
Motel 6 was a good bang for buck stay. I would not expect a $250.00 a night experience for what I paid to stay at Motel 6 but I believe it met all expectations for the money. If you are going to pay $70.00 a night don't complain when you don't receive the same experience as you do at a $200.00 a night Hotel.
Location near the freeway This has got to be one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I am not a picky person and don't expect much from any hotel, hence I normally give any hotel a chance, as long as the reviews are not terrible. All I typically ask from a hotel is a clean room and Wi-Fi, as I'm hardly ever in the room anyway. I reserved a Non-Smoking room. However, when I checked in the only Non-Smoking room was a handicap room (which I don't mind) however the room CLEARLY smelled like previous guest DO smoke there! The room smelled terrible and was the only room available. I would have left to another location. However, I arrived at 11pm at night and just wanted some sleep. The sleep didn't happen and I got a very bad headache after a few hours in the room of the thick potent smoke smell. It was terrible. I was there on business and didn't get to rest for my important meeting. Furthermore, the staff was rude! and looked at me like I was a snob asking for something special. In addition, I tried to connect to the Wi-Fi internet, but had to go downstairs (after I had already unpacked and changed into something comfortable) to pay for a Wi-Fi code! really??? You guys are not setup for me to pay for Wi-Fi from my room??? Finally, when I did connect to the internet, the speed was extremely slow something I would only see from a dial-up connection. My signal kept disconnecting and just gave up on the internet. I would have asked for a refund of my $2.99 but 1) I didn't even want to speak to your staff at the front lobby, 2) I would have probably been told they couldn't do anything about it, as they appeared to be with zero authority up front 3)The $2.99 wasn't worth my time, by breath, nor worth getting into an argument with the staff. Finally, the accommodations were terrible!!! The room was dirty. Floor had stains, the bathrooms had crud on the corners of the walls, toilet and shower. Not all the lights worked, so the room was dark. The hotel is RIGHT next to the airport, so the airplanes are SOOOO loud and shook the room. The location must be in a dangerous location, as the guest and people around the hotel looked "thuggish". I would not have my daughters stay there. I paid ~$80 for the night. I know it's cheap for the area, but I wasn't expecting much. I would urge everyone to look somewhere else if they need a room to stay.
Drug deals going on said it was close to Disneyland it's super far they said check in at 3 my room wasn't ready till 5:30pm so we were exhausted with our children outside asleep in the car cause his staff was on lunch he said
The front desk staff, both night & morning, were professional & polite. No problems there. The door wasn't secure when I arrived, and I had some trouble getting back in when I had to step out for a bit. The worst part of the experience was the prostitutes that knocked on my door, while I was trying to get some rest, asking me if I "wanted to party". Apparently, the guy next door did, because the headboard of his bed kept slamming into the wall all night!
The only thing nice I could say is the they have a refrigerator and microwave. Was was just so old and dirty and gross. The rooms are not big and the air conditioning is in the front room and it gets so cold there and stays hot in the bedroom because the air doesn't flow there. Everything looks like it was original with the hotel which is old. The bathroom was so gross and dirty we didn't shower or give the kids a bath in the tub. It was just peeling off. We will never be staying here again!
1. We werent givin the room we requested 2. The room we stayed in was cleaned very well as there was hair in the shower and a half roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. And 3. This is the major one. Despite booking and paying for the room in advance through a travel site, the hotel also charged me for the stay with the card i gave them for the security hold. I have called amd left messages 3 times and still have yet to receive a refund or even a call back about the mattet.
There was nothing I liked besides the housekeeper The front manager was not only unhelpful but rude there was no late checkout I had to pay for my remote control and my tv still did not work for the first night and I was still charged after requesting that I be credited because I was unable to use the remote. They finally with a great deal of noise on their part came to my room and fixed the tv. The atmosphere outside scared me I felt like I was unsafe and my belongings in my car and my car itself was unsafe after the first night I just wanted to leave but couldn't get my money back and couldn't afford to go elsewhere. This place in general was dirty, and scary and the employees that run the front end are rude and can barely speak English. I trusted kyack to not have crack hotels on its lists and I was sorely mistaken. I will not make that mistake again!
The room was clean & room service was kind and professional. The "free breakfast" they advertise was just cereal, some hard bagels, white bread and stale mini muffins. NOT happy about that. They don't stock up the rooms with enough towels in the bathrooms.
Good value for the dollar. Reasonably clean and friendly.
Great service, friendly, clean room, very spacious, near a bunch of restaurants, gas stations, and freeway. I don't like that they charge your card first when you make the reservation.
Kitchenette They were as rude and unfriendly and down right cold hearted as it comes.to start it off my mom used her credit card to book room and I gave her cash .the occupants were to be my wife me and 6 year old son.three days into our stay while I was a work my wife and son demagnitized there room key while swimming.manager would not rekey her card and made our small child freeze for four hours while my mom finally got there to get key. Then on check out day I was at work and they denied her a late check out and made them sit outside with all our belongings in the cold I arrived at 1145 to get them and they didn't even need the room it was still uncleaned
We saw bad and good reviews, so we were not sure about the place, it said it was remodel and we gave it a shot. And we had a good experience. Rooms look pretty clean and for a good price. The neighborhood is not the best, but we had no problem with anybody inside or outside the motel.
How the bed was made
We enjoyed the comfortable bed, the clean room and the good service. The stay for one night was perfect. We enjoyed our stay and we would like to stay there again in the future.
Room was nice Tub and shower were moldy and dirty. Exhaust fan did not work.
I actually like the fact that they are renovating. Its always great to see Hotels moving forward with in house improvements. Both my fiancé and I are getting in our late 20s and we look young for our age. I passed by a few staffs on my way to my car and I was noticed and greeted. It's nice to see that the staff do not discriminate against our age group and were courteous and friendly. There are quite a few things that bothered us during our short stay with Clarion. The biggest was the power outage that occurred during the middle of the night. We woke and no electricity was available for hours. I thought it was a great necessity to always have a power generator in case of emergencies like this. Another was the replacement towels that we received the following morning. The towels were not just stained but very dirty along the edges. I am unsure of the reasoning for this but that was very unsanitary. I hope that was a one time thing and that others staying in the hotel did not get the same batch of towels. This was our first stay with Clarion and we are quite a bit disappointed. We hope to have a better stay in case we decide to book again in the future.
The hotel's location and price were the reasons I chose it. Location was the prime factor and was excellent for where I was visiting (a nearby hospital). I didn't like that the hotel displayed a large sign indicating a nightly price of less than I was paying.
the air conditioning worked really well. since we arrived late at night and left early in the morning, the air conditioning and mattresses were our major concerns. both were great.
I really liked that the price was reasonable, the staff was friendly, and the room was clean. The only thing that I didn't like was the bed was kind of uncomfortable to my boyfriend. I didn't mind the bed, but his back hurt after sleeping on it for three nights.
Unfortunately we only arrived after 23:00pm and left at 9:00am, so it was merely a stop over. The room was more than adequate for our needs, and would not hesitate to use or recommend the facility again.
Ants coming out from bathroom tub
I felt an environment not too safe. The doors to enter in the building was never closed. One sees people walking around doing nothing. I stayed in the block D.
