Very poor communication and I think we got scammed. They charged us $61 per day for insurance and said it was mandatory. Everyone else we talked to paid anywhere from $17-$30 per day for insurance. When we asked if there was any cheaper insurance option they said this was the only one and absolutely required otherwise we could not take the car and we had already paid for it in full. They did not accept a letter from my credit card company for CDL insurance because it did not say Ireland on the letter. The letter said I was covered "Worldwide" but they would not accept it, therefore, I had to pay an extra €350 for the rental car. What an absolute scam!!!Omdöme skrivet 17 apr. 2023

Knowing insurance was mandatory and not included in the price would have helped. We were hit with a $500 charge we were not expecting. The Europcar pick up desk is in terminal 2 of the airport- which is a huge ordeal to go to and from. All the desks by the entrance are closed. It took an hour to drop off.
