Minus: There was no pick up after reserving a pick up
Minus: Damage to the passenger front hubcap was significant, but not noted. It took time to stand in line at Eugene and to have the damage documented so I wasn’t liable.
Additionally a dedicated desk agent would have sped up the process
Plus: Brand-new car - super clean, drove well, and sporty for a full-size car.

Smooth and good price
Plus: Smooth and very reasonable price
Plus: The car was comfortable and easy to drive, even when the roads were icy. The driver's seat was easy to adjust.
Minus: I have some physical issues which make it difficult for me to tote luggage and walk long distances. It was kind of hard for me to get everything to the car and to get it loaded. I also wish I had rented a car with a navigation system or a compass at the very least.
Ice, snow and no desk agent to be found
Plus: The 2016 Chevy Cruze, although compact, proved to be comfortable and very fuel efficient. Note: Although this car is advertised by Enterprise as an intermediate," or midsize, it's a compact. Think Civic.
Minus: Enterprise is a bit less than transparent as to Debit Card payment at airport locations. While Enterprise will accept a verified debit card for payment, please be aware that a "return flight booking," is required for debit card use at (certain) airport locations. * The manager made it work in the end. Thank you.

Minus: I think it's ludicrous to pay $100 or more to rent a car for one day.

Plus: My flight got delayed by a full day and Kayak was no help. But I was able to call the Alamo desk directly and they fixed everything! The car I rented was perfect for my needs and the price was right!

Minus: People had parked their cars along the side of the parking lot making it tricky to maneuver around them. Not your fault but maybe some no parking signs along the sides of your lot
Plus: Staff was fine. Dropoff site poorly defined, couldn't find it, which lead to disastrous problems. All of the other car rental agencies have clearly marked paths to their return sites at PDX. ALAMO's sign is low and poorly lit and when your attention is directed to the overhead signs reading "rental car returns", it's very easy to miss.

Plus: The employee was very helpful and friendly. I appreciate that Alamo would take a debit card with proof of return flight, made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The car was perfect for what we needed.

Minus: Reserved and received a confirmation number. Paid an uber to get us to the pickup location only to have a very rude young lady say they dont honor reservations made in the last 24 hours. Completely bad attitude, unapologetic for our wasted time and money and no real explanation given for any of it.

Plus: Great Car...fast pickup. I was out the door within 5 minutes. The weather was horrible (sleet/ice) so getting in the car and out of town to head south was really important to me. The car (a Tahoe) was brand new and a great choice for this type of weather. I really loved that there was no drop fee on my one way trip to Medford. Staff at both locations were great and efficient. Highly recommend.

Minus: The car smelled like a urinal cake - some sort of artificial fruity stuff. IT was POTENT. My clothes smelled like it! We left the windows down whenever possible.

Minus: Not going out in the pouring rain with my elderly father after traveling all day...then waiting fir the guy next to our car to find first gear to move his car so we could get in ours again with our elderly father who was completely soaked by then.
Plus: The car pick-up at Eugene Municipal Airport (EUG) was very friendly. Especially, the young lady (Amber) at the Dollar Rent Counter at the airport was very helpful. She upgraded our car on our request with reasonable additional charge. This change made our long journey from Eugene, OR to Los Angeles, CA very comfortable.

Car has in-built GPS, which was quite handy to go to different locations. But for a number new locations it didn't work as it was not updated. For example, it could not navigate us to some new locations in Folsom, CA. So we used our cellphone to drive to those locations. (GPS needs to be updated)
The car drop-off was at LAX airport. We drop the car at the shown location. But it was difficult to locate the Dollar drop-off as there was no clear sign and we were in hurry to do it because the drop-off location was not in the airport. Shuttle takes the passenger from that location to the airport. We could see the Hetz sign only. However, on advised of the present staff we park the car at a location and left the car key inside the car as told. As per agreement, before handing over the car there, we filled the tank completely with the gas. The tank was full. (We wish if we could have some kind of written receipt for it. That the staff has taken the car in the same condition as it was handed to us. Gas tank is full, and we owe nothing.)
Plus: Exactly what we needed for our long trip cross country. Perfect.
Minus: Car could have been cleaned better particularly since it had the enhanced sticker on the door. We had to do extra cleaning.

Minus: Return my money in this time of Covid-19... was unable to work with you to get refund or credit voucher. Only company that did that....
