I had to cancel. I needed to rent a car so I could get my daughter to a safe place. It would have been the most economical way. But unfortunately you cannot rent a car without showing your credit card in person. Who knew. I can buy plane, train and bus tickets but I cannot rent a car. Though I reserved a car and had all ID and Credit cards needed, they would not rent to me. Apparently recently moving affects my ability to rent a car. Agent told me I could Uber to an off site rental location, but not other resolutions were offered.Omdöme skrivet 27 aug. 2021

Agent for car pick up was quick, friendly, efficient. Same for drop off agent. Car had issues - low tire pressure light would not go off despite trying to fill the tire. Lights would not work on "Auto" so had to put them on manual. Got "Change Oil Soon" light during rental. One suggestion is to include a link to the vehicle's owners manual in the rental agreement, or e-mail the link to the customer. Plus:I didn’t like anything because I could not use my reservation because nobody ever came to the counter. We had a 12am reservation for a car and we arrived at the desk at 11:45pm and were told be the other rental car company people that they had already left for the night.Minus:The folks manning the Alamo rental car counter at Norfolk International Airport should be trained to stay at the counter and not leave for the night before all reservations have been taken care of. We waited for 20 minutes and no one arrived at the counter. In fact all the other companies have gone home for the night and I had to grab the last available person, at the Avis counter, and spend $100 more than planned to reserve a car through them.Omdöme skrivet 20 sep. 2020
