Minus: AGENCY IS FAR OFF AIRPORT, THE RATE IS ONLY A FRACTION OF THE CHECK OUT COSTS. THE 1 MILE OVER THE SPEED LIMIT RADAR TRAPS, ARE $100 EACH, THEY ARE RIGGED FOR TOURISTIQUES VISITEURS, THEY WILL GET YOU THROUGH FRANCE GOVT, TRULY

Plus: Nice little car at an okay price.
Minus: People were not helpful. Took a long time to fill out paper work. Return was confusing - got conflicting instructions from different people.

Good gas mileage but poor lighting from headlights
Plus: The car was clean and automatic like we requested and got good gas mileage.
Minus: The headlights barely lit up anything in front makin seeing the roads very difficult and dangerous at night unless we used the high beams which isn't possible when there is oncoming traffic. Also, the agent was late for dropping off the car in morning causing us to almost miss our flight since there were a lot of folks waiting to drop off in morning with us.

Minus: They required a $2000 deposit on top of the rental price unless we purchased insurance, even though my credit card had equivalent insurance. Then even when we paid the extra $180 for insurance they required an additional $600 deposit on top of the rental price.

Minus: The deposit for the car hasn't cleared, 10 business days after the transaction. This has been very frustrating, financially. Otherwise it was fine.

Minus: Despite choosing Budget for its price, and declining the insurance, upon picking up the car we were told that to decline the insurance we would need to leave a $12,000 deposit!! We were basically forced to take the insurance for $10/day.

Minus: We were forced to buy car insurance even though we made it clear to them that my credit card covers car rental insurance on international trips. In addition they placed a €800 block on my card as well. Very disappointed and frustrated to argue with the attendent at the counter after a long flight to get there.

Minus: Returning the car was hard because they were no agents. They don't open early. The reps gave someone else reservation and they wanted to charge me 3 times the amount the original booking.

Minus: Slow service, lengthy wait for shuttle, language barrier; reservation indicated drop-off would be when office closed, but clerk did not volunteer how that should be done and customer left to squeeze out that info. Would not accept well known 3rd party international Allianz Car Rental Insur. policy as reason to reduce or eliminate required large credit card deposit.
