It was fine. There were not enough towels on the pool, probably because of the construction work. Also inside pool was not in use. (This is just a comment, not complain.)
Beautiful location, nice balcony, good air conditioning, nice breakfast. Slightly dated, especially the exterior of the building. Not really what I'd call a 5* hotel but nice nevertheless.
The location of the hotel is in the middle of the city of Opatija.The staff is very friendly and my room was clean,large and equippd with all the usual ammenities and a nice seaview terrace. I stayed for one night only and did not find anything that I would not like

We liked the location, the luxurious surroundings, the pool and spa. We did not like the fact we were kept awake for 2 nights in a row until 3 am by a disco in the hotel which was the loudest we have ever heard. We also did not like the fact you had to hire sunbeds on the hotel terrace. We feel this should be included in price.

The staff were consistently polite and helpful. During a spell of very bad weather they made every effort to make last minute appointments for me at the spa so that my holiday was not affected. There was nothing that I found out of place or that I did not like.
The 4-stars Hotel Grand Opatijska Cvijeta offered comfort of a 5-star hotel. The location was ideal and the rooms were very large and comfortable. The hotel itself was great but I was disturbed by the conduct of Milenij Hotels. I booked a room in Hotel Milenij which booking was changed by the chain to the Hotel Grand Opatijska Cvijeta one day before arrival! It was justified by unidentified technical problems. This was really annoying and uncomfortable. I must admit, however, that the replacement hotel was great.
Nothing Cannot be regarded as a 5* hotel, hardly up to the standard of 4* hotels we were in in Croatia. Room dull and dingy, puplic areas poor. Breakfast was horrible, stale bread and rolls, no fresh juices, hot food looked over cooked and finished items were not replaced.
Great location (heart of Opatija), exquisite buffet breakfast Reception staff unworthy of a 5* hotel. Shame that hotel guests have to pay extra charges for parking their car.
We went during the off season and so were able to have very nice rooms at a very reasonable prices. The staff was courteous and helpful and the included breakfast was delicious and plentiful. When two of three of us asked for changes to our room assignments, the front desk accomodated this - one receiving a very nice double with a sea view and the other (who wanted a view) did get that, but the bed was a pull-out couch. Clearly this room normally serves as the living space of a suite. However, this was satisfactory as it gave the desired view.

En dag efter städningen lämnade de inte dusch gel och shampo. När jag frågade en som städar om det sa de att de lämnar bara om gäst säget till. Vi sa det i receptionen och de sa att städerskan måste lämna varje dag om det fattas.Och det gjorde hon faktiskt sedan

The place of the hotel. The staff is very kind. The shower place is too small although we are not fat people. we would like that breakfast shall include some vegetable .

Some of the staff were fantastic and helpful, especially those in the caffe bar and dining room. The heating was set too high(26-27) and an older man on reception was just plain rude.
Excellent location, parkingbin front of the hotel, friendly and helpful staff, great food, one of the best hotels I stayed in Croatia. It would have been nice if the sea-view rooms had balconies, but everything can't be perfect, can it? The hotel is so good it does not really matter.

Good location to beach, water was terribly cold, but this is not a Hotel fault. The breakfast on terrace was on plastic table and chairs, what is not suitable for a 4stars Hotel.
Desk manager was the most rude and impolite of all encountered on a month's trip to Croatia. Also felt that not allowing bags into dining facility reflected the wrong attitude toward guests. I would not recommend this hotel.
Location is good. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The parking fee is too high. Some male staffs were not sincerely nice. There was stinct smell of the bathrrom. It disapeared after showering.
Mycket bra läge vid havet och centrumnära, med rymligt rum och fint stort badrum Bra frukostbuffe´. Dåligt med P-platser vid hotellet o i hela stan. Vore därför rimligt att receptionen kan tillhandahålla obegränsat med 5-Kuna för gästerna att kunna växla till sig, då det i sig är jättejobbigt att hitta en P-plats, och näst intill omöjligt få växla till sig 5-Kuna i butikerna o t.o.m. hos bankerna. För att parkera 1 Dygn behövs 14 st 5-Kuna = 105 SEK
Hotellpersonal var jättevänlig och maten var jättebra. Allting var jättebra. Det finns inte luftkonditionering på rumet
Stort trevligt rum och balkong med utsikt över havet. Läget var också mycket bra, verkligen mitt i centrum om man nu gillar det! Inte lyhört, annars hade vi störts av musiken som spelades varje kväll på hotellets uteservering. Receptionspersonalen var initialt inte överdrivet vänliga....men det blev bättre under veckan. Vi hade också förstått det som att rummet hade luftkonditionering men så var inte fallet, så det blev rätt varmt eftersom det inte fanns fläkt heller.
Mysig stämning, bra mat, musik/dans, nära till bad. Sängarna, störande musik från närliggande teater på natten.
Hotellets historia och antika miljö väl bevarad.Vacker anrik miljö.Utmärkt möjlighet till bad. Behov av viss renovering uppfräschning av boenderummet.Slitet toalett utrymme.Behov klimatanläggning .
I booked this hotel and when I arrived it was closed. The chain did offer me alternate accomodation but it was far from the 4star rating promised. In general I was not happy with service, quality, or their efforts to find me alternate accomodation. Of the 6 days booked I ended up cancelling the visit after 2 days.
There is no hotel parking, but the hotel owns a Park near by, and they could make a better park price to gests
Please see my previous comment. The hotel accessed my bank account without my personal authorisation. They said that it it does not "matter" /to them at least/ as the payment was blocked.
