Well located on Broad Quay, close to Bristol waterfront, good restaurants within walking distance, walkable to main shpppoing district of Bristol. We booked two rooms, one for 3 people, the other for 2. The hotel placed the extra bed in by far the smaller of the two rooms and the rooms were six floors apart. The larger room, although very comfortable, absolutely stank of cigarette smoke. We were oiffered a small discount on checkout, but this should have been picked up by housekeeping and the room not allocated.
Public areas spacious, breakfast good. Lifts not working, poor lighting in room, food left in corridor - not worthy of a hotel in this category.
I asked for a quiet room... I got it. Reception staff extremely efficient and friendly and professional. I liked the colours in the bedroom, appreciated having a bath .. useful in a city to relax.. and beds were comfy. car park was a bit tight with pillars, but I was glad to have it!!
Central situation in Bristol,proximity with the airport in Stansed Stupid customer occasioned fire alarm at 4 am!!!!
Good sized rooms - clean and well cared for None
Brand new hotel so overall facilities were impressive. Room was large with excellent views. Good sized bathroom. Lifts not all working so long delays going up to 11th floor. Some of fittings in bedroom badly designed E.G. flexible light next to bed had already worked loose, wardrobe door wouldn't open fully due to hitting room door closer.
Great location for city. Room on sixteenth floor with floor to ceiling window and amazing view. Pleasant room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Reasonably good breakfast buffet. Gym poorly equipped.
Very central, excellent location for shopping! The hotel andcommunal areas are clean and stylish. Check in staff were very pleasant. the room was clean and stylish, the bed extremely comfortable. the view from the floor to ceiling windows give a great view over the city (15th floor) and make for a very light and bright room. None.

The location near the river. Perhaps a little difficult to locate by car! Unfortunately the heating wasn't working on the 1st floor where my room was allocated. No-one offered a heater of any kind and it was extremely cold weather. I had to request milk as there was non available in the room to make a drink when I arrived after a long journey.
The staff were attentive, polite and very pleasant and the meal that we had in the palm court restaurant was of exellent quality and value. A shame that there was a charge for parking.
breakfast was good but slow on the poached eggs On arrival the bathroom floor appeared not to have been cleaned.
The evening meal was delicious and our waitress was very pleasant.

The second room we were given was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel was well located. Checkout was efficient and fast. We were initially given a room with no heating. The thermostat was going to be replaced but this had not yet happened. The weather was very cold and it was not satisfactory to be put in a room with no heating. After speaking with check in staff they confirmed room had no heating but moved us to another room which was warm and very comfortable. We were surprised that at the end of autumn in the uk there were rooms that were being booked out with no suitable heating.
Dinner in Palm Court, food and service was excellent
Staff in the main were friendly. Once needs were made known they were promptly acted on. Room check should insure that essentials such as toilet rolls are in place after each room service. Desk staff need to finalise business with you before moving to the next customer. At check out the person just walked away before I signed the bill form and I had to ask another desk staff person if the hotel needed the signed form.
The location was excellent and the htel looked very plush. The overpriced breakfast and overpriced guest car parking.
The hotel was really lovely, as was our room. Great location. Will certainly go back again.
Straightforwards hotel, good restaurant and service friendly and efficient. We have used Ibis many times before and you know what you are getting.Very reliable. The bed was uncomfortable and hard.
Suprised when able to check into my room at 9.30am when only asking if I could leave my luggage Suprised when apple juice in both machines was empty at 8am sunday morning,but it was filled immediately and a glass brought to me.
It was very easy to walk to any part of the main shopping centre close to some very good restraunts Hotel had no parking and a very strange relationship with the ncp car park
The hotel was clean and tidy. Everything in the room worked. The hotel is effectively screened to block mobile phone reception. The machine coffee and limited breakfast options were disappointing.
being near cathedral and harbourside for the money paid breakfast should be included and very tight on tea and coffee and no biscuits

The location. The room had obviously not been checked to ensure adequate heating, lighting, adequate curtains and working telephone apparatus.
The friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the room. I would have liked to be guided to my room but instead left to wander around corridors.
Functional. Your know what you get The noise isolation between the rooms is poor. I had a lot of noise from the neighbouring rooms and hammway
