The quite and relaxed setting Didn't see security on patrol
Enjoyed my stay worth every penny Everything was great can't complain
We liked the look of the hotel and that it was not surrounded by busy streets. When we got back to our hotel in the evening, it had 5 cop cars around it. The inside of the hotel was so loud you could not even hear yourself. There was a huge party going on downstairs. It continued on until late in the night. More cops came. The hall was super loud and when we asked them nicely to quiet down, they had stuff to say to us that was uncalled for. We called the front desk to ask them to see if they could talk to the other party occupants, and they never did.
rooms were cool and it was in a cool area. liked it all
Hotel had a very a young and hip vibe to it. Different than any other hotel I have stayed in. Very nice. Nothing bad to say.
Love the look but too much concrete. Rooms are almost like large jail cells
overall design and look p-tac units were very noisy.
The decor! The moment I walked I was in awe. The bar, restraunt, pool area, lounge area, exercise area, and staff were all colorful, fun, and chill! No microwave and frigarator readily available. TV was off center from the bed.
Very contemporary style, reminds of big city loft. Furnishings very nice. Huge shower, high end faucets and fixtures. Nice restaurant and bar. Great pool and party area. Concrete floors in rooms. I know it fits the look but it just wasn't exactly what we like. Small think really
Overall fabulous. Clean, interesting, urban space. Good customer service and even a good restaurant.
It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The exercise room was nice. The staff members were friendly and helpful. Nothing
Hotel rate and amenities. Flight path. Loud. Shower net door was loud too. Couldn't sleep when neighbors showered after 11:00 PM.
I loved having valet parking, help with my luggage and great bed. I requested that there be a crib in my room upon making reservation, (traveling with infant grandchild) and again just prior to my arrival AND upon check in. Went up to my room an hour later - - STILL NO CRIB. Was not able to call front desk from my room (used my cell each of THREE Times!!!) and there was NO CRIB delivered EVEN 4 hours later when the meal and speakers were done!!!! I left a nice tip for crib setup person, who, when it was finally delivered did a great job AND left a written 'thank you' note : )
The bed was fantastic and it was the best night of sleep we got during our entire vacation. Obviously, it's just a really nice and fancy hotel. You feel comfortable and clean the entire time. Would have loved to stay another night, but the rate doubled the second night, so we had to peace out. :( The staff wasn't terribly nice or attentive. Also, why is it impossible to call the front desk from the phones inside the rooms? Is this just normal nowadays?
After my reservation at a nearby hotel was cancelled without notice, the staff at the Westin were welcoming and informative. Great experience.
That I have to pay $20 for breakfast. Now I see why that Denny's is still in business.
Overall hotel was what I needed when my flight was canceled due to weather. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and a bathroom with nice towels. The hotel was hosting the "Texas Foosball Championship" and apparently they were told they had rule of the hotel because they were all over with red solo cups making noise, until 3 am on floor 10 might I add. should also note I needed to be switched rooms when my door wouldn't stay locked properly. Slightly frustrating night when I just wanted to try to get a few hours of sleep before beginning another day of unintended flying.
We love the excellent service we have gotten from this hotel on back to back years, the staff is very friendly and super helpful. Especially so with our concierge Tony Santos he was wonderful he helped us with everything we needed and more.
I had an early flight and booked a room at the Westin the evening before to get some extra sleep.... Dropped my rental car off at the airport and it took 11/2 hours for the Westin Staff to pick me up at the airport after multiple phone calls and limited locations that they will pick you up at. Finally got back to the motel about 11:00 so much for the extra sleep as,.Not trusting the shuttle service, (they claim every 1/2 hour) we left one hour earlier so we could assure that we would make it on time...
Clean, quiet even during major storms and tornado watches, this hotel was perfect when American Airlines cancelled my flight 3 times from DFW to Austin.
I love the service .. They actually upgraded our room to suite because they didn't have a room with double beds available! I will refer and plan on visiting again thanks...
It's the little extras. Retractable pen.. . Bathrobe.. . Leaf-shaped aloe soap. .. Extra towels. .. Chilled martini. .. Nice gym. ..Courteous shuttle driver. All in all, royal treatment.
The most comfortable beds ever and the best pillows. The balcony overlooking the pool made us just stay in and order room service. Want to find a reason to come stay again. Everything was just great. No complaint.
Outstanding 5 star property, lots to do on-site. Obviously, very expensive.
Too expensive for the money n everything coz money there may be just for the rich people don't know what to do with their money staffs there look down on us coz we didn't wear fancy clothes or name brand bags will never go back there even I have so much money ... Nothing to like
Luxurious rooms, very nice spacious bathroom.
The rooftop pool was an amazing feature. The pool was a blessed relief after a hot, muggy day. It was also in a central location downtown. Plenty of restaurant options nearby - although the hotel restaurant - Texas Spice - was a nice option as well. The work out facility was up to date with amazing views of the city. Certainly worth while.
The spa services were exceptional. Bob's chop house was delicious and convenient for my husband and I to celebrate. Our room was ready and clean the three days we stayed. The only complaint was that we thought there was a mini microwave and there wasn't. Other than that we were fine.
Great experience. We had a great view of downtown. Pool closed too early. Parking too expensive.
The staff was very helpful. The Texas Spice and Box Office Staff were exceptional. The food at Texas Spice was great. The view was awesome. The beds comfortable. My daughter has stayed there several times before, and the price was atleast $100.00 a night cheaper than what I paid. We were also charged for wifi and self parking was very expensive. We stayed 2 nights, and after the cleaning people had been in our room, the sink handles had not been wiped down. For the price of our stay not sure we got the quality. Not sure we will come back.
The pillows and bed were worth every single penny. Getting ready for a night out with my husband and being able to watch tv in the bathroom was a luxury I will not soon forget. Breathtaking view! We requested a quiet room but there was a convention with young teenagers staying there and they were a bit unruly and loud.
pet fee was a little high
Being greeted with champagne Live band in the lobby Clean and comfortable room Staff were friendly and professional
Vary nice lobby/public area and the room was vary cleen beautifully decorated The staff was horrible! The bellmen left one of my bags in the room and when I call to see if they have it. The front dest gave me the runaround and I wound up speaking to 6 people in different departments all don't know what happend to my bag. The staff at this hotle was the unhelpful and rude. There are other great hotels in the area I suggest you find one of them.
We enjoyed our stay at Omni in Dallas. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, pool is awesome and the restaurant "Texas Spice" is really nice. We recommend this hotel for families looking for luxurious place to stay in Dallas. None
We loved the room , restaurants and felt it was a good value for amenities We called to make reservations to the Texas Spice & got no answer. Front desk tried and told us restaurant was booked. Called restaurant 10 min later. They answered and got us in at our requested time. Restaurant was half full. So communication breakdown. But it all worked out
Size of room Many large groups that were very loud and partying.
Contemporary rooms with great staff. Highly satisfied.
View was awesome! Staff was really nice and helpful. Definitely will be stay here again when the chance comes up Nothing was wrong
Very nice hotel, with excellent meeting facilities. Very convenient to West End nightlife and dining. Good food. Easy and cheap access to airport via rail (DART or TRE). The train is a little noisy, even on the opposite site of the building.
Friendly staff, beautiful location and near everything. PARKING
My entire experience was weird. When we first arrived, we wanted to unload our car and I got yelled at like I was a child. Literally yelled at. I had to be firm back in order to get direction as to what te he'll I was supposed to do. Then, upon check in, I was informed that for our two cars, self park was $40. I had no idea it would be so much. I was extremely unhappy but tried to remain optimistic. I purposefully found a hotel with a Pool per request of our group. The pool is a sick hilarious joke. It's the size of a van. It was ridiculous. It was also completely full because of the 10 whole people who were in it. Left the hotel an figured out they overcharged me. Called them and they "took care of it". Well they isn't it still is not reconciled in my account. Over charged, expensive parking, rude parking dude, misleading pool size.
Parlor rooms are pull out beds not a actual bed, Kayak did not define that
Everything else. Overpriced compared to facility. The room could have been cleaner. The entrance location is a bit tricky for pedestrians. Not my best hotel experience.
I loved the location. Friday nights dinner at five-sixty was wonder full and the view amazing. Saturday morning we awoke and took a stroll through downtown dallas. And the shops on the 1st level were convenient. So last weekends stay was all for fiancee....Shes been really stressed lately and i wanted to give her a night to remember.First off partially my fault, but i booked on prom weekend so parking was horrible. I actually ended up parking across the street from Reunion Tower. Then greeted at the front desk i find that they've stuck me into a double queen handicap room, not ok. After speaking with the young lady down stairs she apologizes and gives me a different room. Again its a double queen not the single room. I had booked. Then when i go to wash up before dinner at the five-sixty, the drain to the sink was clogged and water poured on to the floor. Kids at the prom were having fun on the balcony, they were laughing, screaming and enjoying theyre night. Unfortunately for us, we were located right above...
A remarkable hotel at the epicenter of Dallas. The hotel has immediate access to all local Dart rail trains (leading everywhere), the T (taking you to Fort Worth) and Amtrak with straight connections to Chicago and Los Angeles. A memorable vacation starts with 1 or 2 nights here and then a surprise trip either on Amtrak or Dart out to DFW airport. The atrium is amazing with views of Reunion tower and the famed 560 Wolfgang Puck's restaurant. Make your reservations at least 2-3 weeks out to get an available time slot for a memorable night viewing downtown Dallas from 3/4 of mile away and 560 feet up in the air. Room was spacious and immaculate and view of downtown, rail station, Omni was incredible. Request a view of downtown when you check in. Valet parking is a little pricey so I opted for self pay parking at the Amtrak station ($6 for 12 hours)
The room was clean enough. Valet is a joke. Staff is rude. Not pet friendly at all. Terrible location, hard to access. Expect long waits for any service needed and fees that aren't shown online. Make sure to really check your bill upon leaving. Ours was screwy. Couldn't complete a quick check-out, because we had to go to the desk to get it fixed, which took forever.
Super pet friendly. They welcomed my dog with a hyatt dog bed and dog dish for her and also gave us two treats that she enjoyed. However, there is a pet depost of $100 that's non-refundable
Staff was courteous and changed sheets upon our request, after we noticed stains and discoloration. Location was good. Filthy sheets and comforter. Stained and discolored sheets. Business center requested credit card to use computer, and charged to print when it had technical issues. Expensive snack bar in room. No Continental breakfast. Rooms need updating
The hotel was very nice, big, beautiful and wonderful location. My only problem was that the heat was not working in our room and the temperature outside was in the 30s that night. I woke up feeling extremely congested and realize my friend increased the heat to 89.5 degrees and was still sleeping in her pullover because the room was so cold. I didnt call maintenence to report issue because it was 4 in the morning when i realised the vents was only producing cold air and we were only staying one night. The girl at the front desk asked us how was our stay and i mention the temperature in the room. She asked if i reported last night I told her no. I have been fighting a cold since staying in this room. Other than that I would go back but I hope that they take the time to make sure thermostats are working before assigning guest their room. Also checkout is a 12pm two different cleaning ladies knocked on the door twice between the hours of 7am and 11am. Obviously, we hadn't checked out why were they knocking on our door. I worked in the hotel industry before and cleaning service knows which guest have checked by a reporr the front desk provides them. Other than that very nice hotel and the pros out weight the cons. You will not be disappointed especially since the hotel has a restaurant and popular bar. Also reasonable price resturant non chain food are 10 minutes away by car.
The customer service was excellent! They were very eager to help in all our needs. We were very impressed and would stay here again.
Great location an staff was very helpful
The suite I had was great! A well appointed room in which the bed was situated to look out the window. Room service was great. The food was good and a lot of choices that were not terribly expensive. I liked the bathroom had a shower separate from the tub. I stayed in my room and had a wonderful stay. I would go again. The Mokra spa that's attached to the hotel was also very nice. If you are a runner there is a 3 mile course that goes around the lake next to the hotel. Getting to the gym was a hike, think finding your way around the hotel in the Shining. Going to the lower levels of the hotel the smell was rather bad. It smelled like sewage. However, when I got to the gym it was a really nice gym for a hotel. It was large and very clean. The locker room was much better than expected. It housed a dry sauna and two showers. They had amenities such as toothpaste, mouthwash, and feminine products available.
Very comfortable room. Trevi's restaurant was fantastic. Grout in shower needed to be replaced.
The hotel was very nice and the staff was very nice and professional The price didn't match the room size also while I was there I didn't get much rest because there were a group of young teenagers in a room next door who kept making noise and going in and out of their room each time someone left out I could hear mind you I was there to enjoy and spend time with my fiancé before she left for California
Just overall friendly people and clean. Plus one of the most amazing place to eat in DFW is less than 1/10 of a mile from here! All male staff?!?!?
Wanted to add that management and staff were above and beyond accommodating . The double beds are just to small.
Location to DFW Great Cost Felt dirty Hallways were dirty Water leaking from ceiling in bathroom
Not a very friendly staff. Elevators were not working properly, room key didn't work.. Felt like I didn't wanna touch anything. Very dirty. Didn't even want to touch the carpet in the room with my feet. People there were very scary. People sitting outside the hotel door, seemed very trashy. Didn't feel safe. Even the room number was written in a sharpie! Very unprofessional. Need to work on the cleanliness of the hotel.. Right when I walked into the lobby it had a strong odor.. Strong bleach odor, wasn't very pleasant or welcoming
The lobby We found BED BUGS!!! THEY DONT EVEN HAVE AN IRON. It had an UGLY ODOOR SMELL FROM THE ELEVATOR ALL THE WAY TO OUR ROOM.
Dark creepy and shady looking people
When all was said and done all i could say i liked was the bromze statues everywhere and the fact that it had four walls and a roof. While waiting in lobby saw mice running on floor into little holes. Which doesnt scream sanitary especially since this is where i picked to sleep and bathe both begore and after a pretty major surgery. Not only that butbi booked and paid for the room for 2 nights and it wasnt until i got there after a 2 hour drive in Texas Summer heat that they sprung a "by the way all we need now is the $100 deposit for any possible smoking or damages to the room". Dont get me wrong $100 is subjectively expensive or cheap depending on whom you are but id just spent everything i had on my surgery, the meds, food and the fuel to get there and back. I thought that since id paid for the room already there wouldnt be an issue. They were unwilling to negotiate this policy and even though my husband (whom isbin the army) tried to plead our case they did not relent. We even offered to let them bill us after our next payday (which was the friday we were due to check out). They still dod not relent. After seeing thier typical clientelebit was apparent WHY they had that fee ( a LOT of potgead and roughneck type folls to the point where even a few employees werebin front of the building in the drop-off cul-du-sac cracking a stun gun at one another. Finally i had to barrow the funds from my mother as it was already 3 hours after we got to town and i was needing to shower eat my last pee-midnight meal and get to sleep with surgery only 7 hours out. When we finally got to the room we found that there was no fridge or microwave which caused our $30 of food to get chucked, a very hard king mattress with only 3 cheap pillows (for TWO GUESTS!) And both the sink AND tun clogged. So as i showeredbi watched the grimy water pool around my feet with what looked like think layersbof latex tub paint floating around and also blocking the drain... it resembled egg drop soup andbi went to bed feeling dirtier then i felt pre-shower. I wont even mention the number of times the other parrons hit on me in the hallways wheneber my hisband wasnt by myside. And i dont mean, " Hi there you look lovely" i mean, "so you got a man? Dont worry bout him- my room is 4120 ill ahow you a real man." Yeah..... so unless that sounds like fun for you i DO KOT reend this place. OH! I almost forgot, so after begrudgingly painstakingly paying the $100 deposit to ensure we would not damage/smoke in the room we had two employees knock on our door 30 minutes after we got settled (i was already ahowering in my egg drop tub stew) TO CHECK OUR SMOKE ALARMS/DETECTORS!!! Because APPARENTLY thier "system said it shows our alrm going off." My husband had to go down to the reception desk and complain because we BOTH could see them trying tk setbup an excuse to NOT return our deposit! BLEEGGGHHH i DO NOT, i repeat D.O. N.O.T. recommend this sh*t hole... Which is a shame because to look at it you can see how it was probably a pretty upscale place back in the 70's or 80's =/ SORRY FOR TYPOS
Nothing There was a mouse in my room it woke me up trying to eat my food. I went to the front desk and they had nothing to say. Didn't apologize or offer to rememdy situation other than change my room. I need the sleep so I stayed. Would never stay again or recommend.
I never showed up
They need to do a better job cleaning the place.
It was perfect for the weather and it would be perfect as a family getaway or couple getaway. The staff in the morning didnt notice me or pay much attention when i spoke to them and the night staff gave me quick answers as if not wanting to talk, in all CSR jobs a smile should be practiced and friendliness for your guests to feel welcomed. The shower was not cleaned properly, I found body hair all over it and my door kept getting jammed, I wasnt able to get into my room the card reader was broken. Other than that the place is gorgeous!
Bed linen was dirty Tv was broken and didnt work Hotel very outdated....looks nothing like the pictures online
nothing the hotel was bad nothing wouldn"t stay again
Stayed here because our flight was cancelled. Proximity to DFW. Angelia at Aspen Creek is a fantastic server. Thank you for making this stay bareable. Unannounced $100 deposit, attached restaurant(s) closed has not been updated in a long time. Basic maintenance in the main areas non existant.
I was without power for 5 days when I checked in. They allowed me to check in at 1030 so I wouldn't miss the cowboys game. I called multiple times with questions, Michelle was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. There were plenty of fast and casual food options within 5 minutes of hotel. They took an extremely stressful weekend and allowed it to end peacefully. Literally nothing except the overly high non refundable pet fee. I wasn't able to bring my dog bc it would've doubled the price of the room.
Great room space. Food is very good The location doesn't offer much other than proximity to airport. Airport is very close.
Engaging friendly staff, perfect location for my needs, close to DFW, easy access to major area highway. would like to see expanded menu at restaurant, but hardly a big negative
The hotel was very centrally located to the places we wanted to go. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Very sleek and modern and very comfortable.
This property delivered a good value for a quality hotel during a major event - state fair plus major football game. The location was convenient.
Our room was on the first floor and we loved it's location. Thanks N/A
We were supposed to have a room with two queen-size beds and instead we had two full-size. was very hard for four people to sleep in two full-sized beds.
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room, though somewhat older, was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Water pressure on our floor (15) was good, but a friend staying on another floor (18) said that it was barely a trickle. Although we didn't use the pool, its location on the ninth floor was nice. Downtown Dallas, like downtown of other large, Texas cities (e.g., Houston) is just not a great location. We arrived on a Sunday, and very little was open. We walked several blocks to find dining options other than Subway, McDonald's or 7-Eleven. The hotel is not far from a Greyhound station and several urban parks, so there were often groups of people hanging around near the hotel that made the place seem a bit unsafe. The hotel is on the older side, and could stand to be upgraded a bit.
The location is the reason I booked this hotel. Room smelled like wet mildewed gym socks. The bed was beyond uncomfortable. The toilet paper even felt like it was from the solitary confinement section of Riker's Island! We were forced to have our room keys re-magnetized 7 times in two days. I am very conscious not to let my cell phone come in contact with the keys etc, but it was a habitual problem. I have never experienced that in all the many places I have stayed in the past. The front desk staff was disinterested and going through the motions every time they were approached. Warm hospitality is not their strong suit. I really discourage this hotel when staying downtown. Go somewhere else.
I had a great stay. My visit was exactly as I expected. The hotel shuttle pick up from Love Field was a unique benefit.
Location pretty much Door don't seal right main window dirty shower too short or too low, also breakfast too expensive for what you offer
Shower head was much to short for a tall person. I kept hitting my head on the spout which was both painful and disgusting.
It was close to the 6th floor museum Noises, lots of people coming in and out because there was a big party in the club located inside. Relaxing was impossible.
The location was nice in that is was close to many other places downtown within walking distance. Although the immediate area didn't give us a fully safe feeling. The price we paid for the hotel was fair. The smell of the hallway was bad. It seems like they never cleaned or replaced the carpet ever. The location also looked a little shady as we were walking to the hotel.
The front desk and concierge was very polite and friendly. The entrance to the hotel is beautiful! The bed was very comfortable and the balcony was nice. The room was in need of a remodel. Paint and color on the walls were out of date. There were several spots that have been patched over. The bar staff wasn't very knowledgable in making drinks or friendly. She seemed preoccupied with one customer the hour I was there.
Location is great, Dallas World Aquarium is within walking distance so you do save on parking. The hotel stay was ok, the room had a microwave and a fridge which I wasn't expecting so that was nice. You basically get what you pay for. The hotel is downtown and I checked other downtown hotel rates and they were quite expensive so settled on this. It's not a luxury hotel per say so plan to spend some time exploring the downtown because that way you get a good value out of your hotel stay.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was rundown. furniture broken and old. did not like that after a certain hour, the hotel bar turns into a nightclub with a $10 entrance. we just wanted to go have a drink at the hotel bar and it went from a nice hotel bar earlier in the day to a cheeky vegas nightclub packed with 20 somethings. We just wanted to go from our room to have a cocktail, not the gross club!
Good stay overall! One complaint was told via email and booking that the room included breakfast even the server with breakfast told me it was included but somehow I was charged anyway. Ill just make sure to be mindful the next time.
Size of the room There was only one front desk representative at both front desks at 6:30 pm. I needed another key a was quite a wait. The parking is a total pain for $19, the gate readers do not work well. There was only one small trash can under the desk and none in the bathroom. And there was a creepy crawling visitor in the shower on the 20th floor.
The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was very friendly. It was very easy to check in and out. The parking was very easy, and I was able to park close to the entrance. The parking was very expensive. Normally I pay nothing to park at other hotels, but I have paid up to $15 for parking a day. ($3 Anatole was $22 a day and the parking lot was almost empty.
I did not like the fact that the attendants behind the counters did not inform us about the breakfast at the lounge especially after we paid for the executive room which included the breakfast. We had to go to the other restaurant in the atrium to eat and pay... The attendants in the hotel are not good.
Check-in service, fairly affordable parking for the area, & the lobby was beautiful The hotel is an atrium hotel and is extremely large. During my stay there was a prom, a conference, and a wedding hosted by the hotel - it was extremely noisy and crowded. While its very large, its also quite an old hotel. There's one set of elevators for each atrium and the walk to and from the room is really long! Kayak listed it as 4 star and I've generally had a great experience with selected 4 star hotels throughout the country; this one was extremely disappointing.
TV kept loosing signal, staff question were not concrete and contradicted each other. The climate control wasn't working. Along with the facilities feeling humid n hot. Very uncomfortable especially with the weather of above 104.
The only pluses: nice beds, great sheets and pillows, room was very clean. For this room costing me $400/night it was a fairly poor value. The bathroom was so small that I had to climb over the toilet to get in and out of the shower. No balcony, no sitting room, the plumbing gurgled and rattled every time anyone used it nearby, and I could hear everything going on in the adjacent room. The hotel is sooooo huge and no signs or directories. People were constantly lost and asking each other for directions everywhere I went (I don't get why they don't have signs in TX, not specific to the hotel alone, very few signs on the roads too). So basically the room was a confort inn with a hilton price tag. Nothing complimentary or included, not worth the money. Stay at the Sheraton across the street.
Asian Art They put us in the middle of a high school cheerleading convention. Didnt sleep one night with teenage girls running wild throughout the hallways at all hours. Management did NOTHING to control them. Management offered no apologie or follow up. I will NEVER stay at a Hilton again!
SER steak house was great everything. no continental breakfast, nickel and dime you for everything. rooms were dirty, linens were dirty
Big facility with things to do. Basketball court was closed at 8pm. Rooms were dated
Customer service was bad. Also not enough staff.
Everything was excellent.. Maintenance man knocked on our door at 9:30 to clean AC filter. We had Do Not Disturb sign on the door but he still knocked on the door. Kept knocking few times and woke me up.
Hotel is very nice. very disappointed at the fact that we had to pay for parking after spending good money to stay overnight. If already paying for a room, should not have to pay extra for parking.
Clean, comfortable, well appointed room. Like the range of food options - convenient snack bar in lobby, food in sports bar was better than expected, didn't try the fancy restaurant or room service. The food catered for our business meetings was quite good. Helpful staff. My room was on the side of the hotel next to the highway and I found the traffic noise a bit disturbing. If this sort of thing bothers you, you might request a room on the non-highway side. The fitness room was ok, and the pool was well designed indoor/outdoor, but had enough leaves in it that it seemed dirty to me so I didn't use it.
The room I got was very cool! It was layed out with some odd angles and pieces of furniture that fit those spaces (eg, a comfy chair tucked in an angled corner), and was very well furnished (flat screen TV, very comfy bed, desk, etc.). The fitness center is one of the better hotel ones I've experienced, with 6 treadmills with individual TV monitors, plenty of other cardio equipment, and free weights. The indoor-outdoor pool is very nice as well. The hotel is very convenient to the DFW airport and surrounding areas, and they have a shuttle that runs to the airport. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way when I had a need. I will definitely stay here again when working in Dallas.
overall I rated the hotel excellent, the front showed great hospitality and very respectful. room service great and on time. the only opportunity was the staff in the gift shop not so friendly did not speak just rang you up I could have went to 7-11.
Shuttle drivers were extremely helpful and friendly
I would stay there again. The Staff is helpful and clean room's
Oh My, What a hotel! I Laid down on this bed and felt like I was in Heaven. ( No disrepect to Starwood but this is the ultimate Heavenly Bed) What a room - Plugs for all your electronics. Coffee in Room and really nice bathrooms. Lobby has been remodedled and is a true gathering place- Fantastic!!! If you must stay out at the airport DO NOT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!
The rooms have been recently renovated and the hotel is convenient to DFW Airport, Grapevine, Flower Mound, Southlake and Irving. I used the fitness center and it's well-equipped and well-maintained.
Nice hotel, clean room, solid stay. Recommend the upgrade to concierge level. For the small additional charge, received great breakfasts, nice 'happy hour' snacks, plenty of good soft drinks, water, etc., and even cookies at night.
This is a great hotel and convenient to everything in the metroplex.
Was on business in the DFW Airport area and found this hotel to be excellent. The rooms were big and clean, and mine included a comfortable chair and love seat. The fitness center was very good by hotel standards (individual TVs on the treadmills) and the indoor/outdoor pool was cool. Since the rooms charge for Internet, I went to the lobby to use their free wireless service in the evenings. I would recommend this hotel for sure.
The automatic revolving doors to the hotel were broke and there was only one instance during the four days where there was someone avaible to assist with opening the heavy door. The rooms were very nice and he beds were very comfortable.
............. Someone was smoking weed on my floor because my room smelled like we had 4+ blunts going at the same time. Repeated calls to the front desk for assistance was completely useless. The only decent thing in this hotel is the bar, to drink away your anger for being stuck in this horrible hotel.
Rooms were nice and clean. 1 out of 4 elevators were working and we all had to walk 30 flights of stairs with all of our luggage. There was no apology or compensation for anything. I understand technically issues happen but we were on the 30th floor and it had been 8 hours.. ridiculous.
The staff was extremely nice. They were very concern about my issues. I was very upset because of the third party booking but the staff was very patient, polite and accommodating. My stay was enjoyable and the room was very clean.
Was not given the room we pre-paid for. I had booked a king bed, my wife and I arrived at about 9:00pm and were given two double beds. I thought that was a pretty rookie move by the kid behind the counter, who said there were no more king beds available, despite my having pre-paid for it. Not cool.
The common areas were beautiful and staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Our room, room 1913 in the South Tower resembled a cheap motel room on the outskirts of town. There were stains on the walls and on the comforter, holes in the wall, wall paper pealing from the wall... Overall status of the room was extremely poor.
Loved the pillows and how big and beatiful it was! The staff were very friendly also I didn't like that there wasn't much to do inside the hotel but it's definitely no reason not to stay there
Nothing. Upon arrival we were told that all the king bed rooms were taken which we had reserved prior to. Then we walk into the room that wasn't clean. Beer cans strewed everywhere, beds were filthy and trash all in the room. Not only that but the elevators were out of order and we had to climb 8 flights of stairs each time we left the room. Worst stay ever
Staff was helpful with directions. Rooms were clean and nice. No drinks in vending machines on 3 different floors we tried. Only one snack vending machine that needs exact change on the far side of the other tower we didn't even stay in.
Staff was friendly One of my families had dirty linens when they checked into their room. Another had a hole with mold on the ceiling. We had ants in our room. For the cost of the hotel I feel the rooms should be better and there should be some kind of breakfast included.
The service in general: friendly and helpful staff, did not have to wait long for shuttle, breakfast was filling. N/A
Cockroaches were found in the room.
they had bagels out at 430 am when I boarded my shuttle to the airport first room had the door propped open when I got there. It smelled horrible. Looked inside the bathroom and saw that all the tiles under and behind the toilet were broken to the point that I had serious concerns about my safety if I sat on it. Second room wasn't much better, Stains everywhere, on the walls, carpet, furniture just gross. bath had someones hair all over it., Damaged walls from water issues with sloppy repairs and no paint. Toilet appeared safe but the seat was not attached properly.
Great cuatomer service Some prostitutes outside
Staff was very pleasant and the van service to and from the airport was timely and helpful. Thin walls made it easy to hear everything. Not the cleanest or newest.
The room was clean in general. It was close to the airport there's a shuttle that brings and picks you up. For the price we paid it's totally ok including breakfast. The receptionist wasn't friendly and the towels weren't clean even after they got changed. Sheets were stained.
I enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was super friendly. I got exactly what I paid for. I was looking for a place to lay my head for a night, no frills, safe area and close to several venues. The rooms could have been nicer but for the money I paid it met my expectation.
The room took care of our basic needs. However it was extremely hot in the room everyday and the AC unit did not blow out cool air. The hotel needs updating badly. It wasn't the worst stay but I would not stay at this hotel again.
I like the shuttle service (24 hours/day at 30 minute intervals), as well as the breakfast: not just the usual crappy continental breakfast, but sausage, biscuits and gravy, do-it-yourself waffles, and more! My tub didn't drain. It's not a big deal since I took a shower and so only a few inches accumulated. Still, it makes me wonder if the hotel, which is indeed aging, has plumbing issues. Also, ask about discounts. I thought I got a good price ($57/night after taxes) only to find that others were staying there for $40-45/night (they made verbal requests for discounts, rather than using the internet). This hotel would be a steal for $40/night. For nearly $60, I felt it was slightly overpriced.
Location and breakfast Very small and noisy air condition.
Room was large and comfortable and very clean. Overall, the property was great. We were traveling with our teenage sons, so needed extra room and thought the suite with the sofabed would be a great solution. Room was good, but the sofabed was terrible. Sooo old, uncomfortable, with many springs poking through the very thin mattress. Even worse, there was disgusting, large brown stain on the mattress. Have to say we were grossed out!! Love the concept of the suite with extra space for families with older children, but the sub par sofabed ruined for us what we were hoping would be a perfect solution. We have been a decades-long Choice Hotels customer, but will probably check out other chains that offer suites next time.
The air conditioning in my room did not get below 74 degrees, This is completely unacceptable to me. If I knew that, I would have never stayed at the hotel. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean however very old with very old furnishing.
Room was clean and spacious. Staff was fantastic, especially Kevin on the night shift. Breakfast was very good. Pool is very small, 3 feet deep the entire way. No hot tub
Location to airport. Hot tub not working and appeared for sometime.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Cleanliness. Mold on curtains. Mold in shower. Towels obviously not clean - hair, stains, & cologne on them. Sheets and pillowcases also had stains on them.
The beds are extremely comfortable and the staff was very discreet and respectful. Swimming area was closed until further notice. Location was unexpected. Pictures online are a bit misleading. And the door does not seal so you can hear EVERYTHING that goes on.
Not pleasant hotel.
Cost and staff
Pool closed and exterior door to parking was not working has to use front entrance in the rain
extra space of meeting area power outlets not working
Restroom seem outdated
The bedding was good Had 2 rooms reserved we got there and got yhem across the hall and one thr a/c wasnt working so then we had to put our teenage at end og hall. The shower had mold in all 4 corners and there was not shampoo conditioner or anything in room.
Friendly and helpful staff!! Prompt service Room needed a little cosmetic maintenance. Wasn't much hot water at 4am when we checked out
I wasn't recognized as a gold member until day 3 of my stay. Subsequently was informed I could not receive Executive Lounge access because I did not book through the proper channels, but was told they'd let it "slide". Housekeeping cleaning rags were left in my room.
Nice size room and very friendly staff
I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the lake outside
Ms Cleo was very helpful
Pros: friendly staff, good location, punctual valet, nice bar. Cons: dirty bathrooms with dirt in bathtub, used soap bar still in shower, carpet felt dirty, extremely outdated furniture (felt like I was in a cheap Vegas hotel), bug crawled on me during sleeping, no breakfast included, have to pay for Internet and parking.
Beautiful looking building. Nice looking lobby, bar, and front desk. Good location for shopping. Rooms outdated. Have to pay for parking, internet, breakfast. Short on the number of towels that you get. Tub had mold around it.
Over all hotel is nice, near the mall. Staff wasn't very friendly .
Appearsnce - location - very clean The Noise!!!!!! I did not sleep
We loved our stay! We were iffy on staying there because of the ratings but it was great. Room was very clean. They do have a parking rate but since you are staying at the hotel the do waive it. It is very quiet and peaceful, our 6 month old slept through the night! Would definitely stay there next time we travel to Dallas! The bathroom tiles in the tub need to be fixed. Nothing major.
The hotel is located across the parkway/tollway from the galleria and is also near a lot of restaurants. Our room was clean and the staff was helpful. Parking at the hotel essentially costs $17 per day ($17 overnight or $28 overnight for valet parking). Otherwise, there are hourly rates available.
Area of city. Hotel lobby space Small bathrooms, no courtesy shuttle, no weekend Happy Hour
The room itself was nice and we did get an upgrade to a suite. The room wasn't totally clean. Dried soda on counter in kitchenette when we arrived-maids didn't even clean it when I left a note! Dried silly string in pictures and ceiling. Broken furniture. Disappointing. None of the staff smiles or even seems to welcome you at all. Plus--had to pay $17/night for parking garage across the street.
Everything was pretty good. Clean and comfortable. We were disappointed that we came down for the breakfast at 9:45 on a Sunday and found out it ended at 9:30, as we were then told by the front desk person who was sitting at a table eating her breakfast. Not everybody is up at 8:00 am on a weekend. It would have been nice if we were told when It ended at check in.
A GOOD QUITE SECURE PLACE NO POOL
Linens on bed were not clean when we checked in! We requested additional towels and the front desk person was not pleasant to speak to. Hotel was in shambles due to renovations. Overall we will select
I've never had such an amazing experience with ALL of hotel employees except at this location! Brande and Britane especially were two amazing individuals who helped me and my son get checked in and walk us through to local spots to grab a late night dinner. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. It was super clean and just overall friendly. Wish there was an indoor pool but can't have it all! Again, Britane and Brandi made my night worth the drive up there. They were so awesome!
The location was right in between a few of the places we planned to visit which made travelling easy. We have small children, and they enjoyed watching the big airliners fly overhead. The pool was nice and a relaxing way to cool off after a hot day of seeing the area attractions. We booked a king suite with sofa bed, but no sheet was provided for the sofa bed. The second night we stayed was going along fine until we turned in on for bed and found bugs everywhere on the bedding, nightstands, and sofa bed...they were small flying bugs twice the size of a gnat. We never opened any Windows so I don't know where they came from. We booked our room for a good deal only to find out after we stayed that we were charges an additional $70 by the hotel for some misunderstanding regarding to the number of guests we had...essentially our toddler and preschooler were somehow considered to be two extra adults so the charges were added.
I LOVED THE BREAKFAST AS ALWAYS. VERY CHILD FRIENDLY. WIFI CONNECTION WAS VERY STRONG. I WILL ALWAYS STAY HERE WHEN VISITING DALLAS!
I left my asthma inhaler in my room, bed to be exact. I called spoke to Janice she said no one found it. As I was trying to arrange a refill & find a pharmacy I got a call from Janice she had my inhaler. I was thrilled she was so helpful!!!
Be aware.. There is free shuttle to the airport but NO free parking at the hotel. The shuttle service experience was bad.. Does not run often.. On our way back.. It took us 1:30 min of waiting at the airport..!
The room was super clean and very spacious. It was also very quiet despite facing a major interstate.
The hotel over all was okay nothing to write home about. It's exactly what you would expect for the location and price. However the staff is amazing. They really did go out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home after a stressful drive and that was great. Coffee maker sucked
Walking distance to the Parking Spot. Good to leave your car there, then walk back to hotel. There is a transport service to a nearby steak place. Roomy suite, quiet while we were there. Shuttle service is not free ($20 for 3 nights), and shared with other nearby hotels, so plan extra time for service to/from DFW. It took 30 minutes from hotel to airport. Calling from the airport on return, waited 30 minutes for pickup then rode around to other terminals - total of about an hour for a five-minute trip between airport and hotel. Parking Spot is probably a better choice.
The young lady at check in ( forgot her name, but Hispanic). She has a great personality for her position, and offered a warm welcome. She was also very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Our rooms were great with one flaw, the shower head sprayed water outside of the shower but we were able to adjust the head for the night. The breakfast was not the best but was grateful it was offered at no additional cost. And lastly, there is not a lot of parking.
Close to airport with free shuttle Needs eating utensils on suite. Toiletries are dispensed on wall units- no convenient bottles
The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was great. The only options for dinner were to walk to Wataburger, or order Chinese or Italian delivery. Neither was a particularly satisfying option, and I ended up feeling stranded for two days because there wasn't really an option to leave that didn't involve getting a taxi.
Nice room and service. Nice breakfast food NA
Nice amenities very clean. It looked and felt the part. Staff was very kind. Stairs have a weird layout.
nice and clean. I felt every safe there. love the place
Very spacious and clean room. The best hotel for the price. Everything was great but on the last day I did see a cockroach.
The staff was extremely friendly. Clean room!
This Best Western ,was wonderful easy fine close to airport was plus for us, was clean an staff was friendly. Was quite also.
good, clean, no problems, basic hotel with good clean bed and clean room no issues, just not anything exceptional
