Kvaliteten på hotellet är fantastiskt. Verkligen en pärla i Portugal Städpersonalen och vissa av frukost personalen saknar säkert en del utbildning. Det finns ett glapp i hotellets kvalitet och viss del av personalen. Eftersom jag känner till Portugal väl, är det inget överraskande.

Fräscht hotell av mycket hög klass på lugnt lite avskillt läge men ändå inte en alltför ansträngande promenad ifrån centrala Cascais. Professionell personal på samtliga positioner.
I was really pleased with the Farol Design Hotel overall. I thought the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and modern in design. I very much enjoyed the brunch with the sea-side view. Overall, I'd give this hotel a very high rating and would love to stay there if I returned to Cascais, Portugal. It would have been nice if the pool area had a hot tub/jacuzzi in addition to the pool. The pool water was very cold and didn't really match up in quality compared to the rest of the hotel.
Position of hotel good. Front desk staff not very welcoming, laundrey taken from room without form being filled in, overcharged at poolside bar, ordered taxi to take to airport and got private hire car at double price without being asked, too many "outside" functions, such as weddings disrupting guests. Room small. This hotel is overrate and overpriced.
The location and being a boutique hotel, was small and friendly. The staff were eager to be helpful and made you welcome. It's been operating for approx 8 years and could use an upgrade. It was also expensive for what it offered and even charged 3euro for each coffee in your room.
Just stayed here for 5 nights...beautiful boutique style hotel with modern design yet still has all the original features of the old building. The pool area is fabulous...the view out over the rocks and the sea is amazing and its very relaxing to sit out all day and watch the sun go down. The restaurant for breakfast is really good again with spectacular views out to sea. Dinner is a must as the food is 5* in the restaurant. Service in the hotel is excellent whether at the pool, bar, restaurant. Location to Cascais is perfect as the hotel is located right beside the marina which has some lovely restaurants to visit and its less than 10 minutes stroll into Cascais. Only negative is that our bathroom was tiny..small complaint though!
Location The service was inconsistent with the standard a five star hotel. The staff were very unhelpful and unapproachable. EG We ordered lunch and received the wrong food Breakfast service was appalling had to practically chase a waiter to get a coffee - tables were not set which resulted in having to forage for cultery and napkins. We were offered eggs one day and none the next. We ordered cocktails in the bar one night and the were not given the wat we ordered we did not return the cocktails as we feared a reprisal. I wanted to use the iron and was told the hotel did not have a travel iron!! We ordered water by the pool and received a plastic bottle whilst other guests were presented with a water bottle in an ice bucket - with glasses etc We suspected that the lack of service may have been attributed to the fact that we did not speak Portuguese but we noticed that most of the other guests communicated to the staff in English.
Absolutely stunning location with attentive, helpful staff and a very relaxed atmosphere. Expensive but pure bliss lounging on their four-poster sunbeds, wine glass in hand, watching the crashing Atlantic waves. Also, great base for easy visits to Lisbon (by train) and Sintra (by bus).
The pool and staff were great. All the food and drinks we had during our stay were very good. I think it is very overpriced for what you get.
Internet access.good bar. Poor lighting-not geared businessman
The view. The design. The quietness of the surrounding. Closets are oldfashioned and need redone. Maybe not enough light in the room.
