Free parking, closeness to casino, beautiful view of downtown Detroit. Room wasn't fully cleaned when arrived. Bed wasn't completely made, ice bucket had leftover ice/water in it, glasses were dirty, bath tub was dirty.
Great room great service Poor buffet staff. So smoky on casino floor it got hard to breathe.
The room was a amazing. The bathroom was beautiful. Bed was comfortable. Overall it was a Pleasent stay. You could hear the people coming and going through out the night. Slamming the doors. And there were little black flies, almost like fruit flies, flying around in the bathroom and bedroom.
The room was beautiful. We enjoyed the free appetizers in the evening and the breakfast in the morning. I wish there would have been a small refrigerator for our own drinks and leftover food we had from dinner. Food had to sit out all night and spoiled.

The room is spacious. Along with great walk in showers. Great casino but seemed like dance club more than about shows or amenities. Wonderful employees very helpful and curtious. Valet is highly recommended. The slowness of elevators after a sporting event is a downer but small inconvenience. Few things that I noticed could be better. Lots of waisted space. Areas of casino seamed like could've been better. Wish they had shuttle to the two stadiums near by comerica park and ford field. Shuttle to and from airport rather than taxi would've been a great addition to the hotel. Overall 5 star hotel. Do wish they had all night buffet because most sporting events get out after their restaurants 11pm closing time but things that could be small upgrades to their hotel
-Loved the pool and spa facility. the room was fantastic, loved the bathroom. access to restaurants and the casino were great as we did not have to go far to get drinks or food. -Drinks were very inexpensive and of good quality. Our cocktail waitress, Autumn, who worked at the Axis lounge was very very kind and hard working. she checked on us many times so we could enjoy our time on the couches without having to get up to order drinks. -we are a gay couple, and felt safe staying at the hotel. Although when I made phone calls I was called "Mr.Johnson" a number of times. -there really needs to be a mini fridge or cooler that we can put leftover food and items in. we were traveling by car so a lot of our items would go to waste. -security guards at living room entrance, there needs to be more consistency in them knowing what all of the guest room key cards look like. we were questioned about being guests because we had cards that said "TAP" on them, and the security guard had only seen ones that said "AXIS" on them. plus no other guard stopped us like that. -having bathrobes in our room would have been a plus because we went to the spa so often but had to walk down in just bathing suits and wet towels.

I was there for a wedding and it was centrally located to everything. The door men and valet were extremely personableand very nice. I would have given it 5 stars all around, however, the front desk check in staff did not inform us of the shuttle provided by the wedding until asked and they did not tell us the correct times so we missed the bride walking down the aisle.
This place is amazing. They have it going on! From the great staff to the great rooms and to the great entertainment!! We are definitely staying at the MGM from now on when we visit Detroit!! Everything was AMAZING!!!

I had a chance to enjoy the Casino and Hotel over the Christmas Holiday!! it was warm and enchanting!! Everyone was kind and professional, I can't wait to return. We Loved it ! We loved everything, especially the free upgrade on our room, and room service was awesome!!
It was a well deserved and most awesome romantic get away!! Love it all. Only thing bad, which isnt really that bad, but found clothing from prior guests behind the chair.
The view we got was amazing. The staff was excellent and so accommodating. I mentioned it was my birthday and they were so nice to be sure that we had an amazing view. Heard loud music all night. Not sure if it was from bars outside or from neighbors? Couldn't tell.
My room was clean, smoke-free, quiet and on the 22nd floor. The elevators worked well, they had a key security. Couldn't go pass casino floor without key card. Close enough to walk to Tiger's games. While approaching our room we could hear neighboring couple and son yelling and being loud. We turned right around and went back to front desk where we were quickly reassigned a quiet room overlooking downtown and Comerica Park.

Room at night had big spotlights we weren't told about upon check out. Had to close drapes and it was still lighting up the room. Just terrible
The room was fairly clean with the exception of someones fake eyelashes on the floor which was pretty gross. The fact that my sister and I had a marathon early in the morning. The loud neighbors were rude and inconsiderate. I called security on them once, however they kept being loud. My sister and I got at most, an hour of sleep.

When visiting any hotel, the staff make up 80% of the overall experience. The staff here at Greektown were my only friendly, but also incredibly accommodating and informative. If I had reasonable questions, they found me an answer as well as provided knowledge on getting around the city. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was a memorable and satisfying one. Will definitely be returning in the future.

We had a three hour wait in line to check in before the Lions game. Once we checked in, our room was not ready and we received no discount on the room for it not being available for the entire reservation time frame. The staff was slow and very unaccommodating. Completely unacceptable.
The room was comfortable and very attractive. The bathroom was quite nice. No free internet unless you joined Starwoods and when I did I got an email confirmation in Arabic! Which freaked me out. The desk staff said they didn't know what to do and maybe it was some problem with my email. I pointed out it was only the one from Starwoods. The breakfast staff were very attentive, but the meal was overpriced for the quality.
Inadvertently booked the Westin in downtown rather than the airport but glad I did. Imposing, stately building and very good spacious bedroom.
Our family enjoyed our stay on the 23rd floor of the hotel. The pool was warm and the beds were comfortable. Great room for the price!

A fabulous place to stay! Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to be treated like royalty, from the time you park your vehicle until you depart. A+ hotel all around!

The dinner at The Roast and the friendliness of the staff, also the location. Our view was blocked by a parking garage construction, but they did not charge us for our upgrade.
Lovely accommodations in an iconic Detroit hotel. Great bar, great restaurants, friendly staff, beautiful rooms. Spa does not match the quality of the hotel. The space is small, cramped, and dark; the equipment mismatched and broken. Friendly staff, but disappointing experience overall.

With the concert and tigers game the hotel was booked solid. The staff was amazing! Great stay! They all did great job of managing so many guests in house. Everything and Every staff member was great!
The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was like that of a $100 per night hotel. Valet service was very slow. Room service was slow. Food delivered to the hotel had to be picked up in the lobby. This is a nice hotel, but for the price paid I expected it to be much nicer. It certainly was not the getaway that we were expecting.

The location of the Marriott in the Renaissance Center is great for seeing Downtown Detroit. It's near the river, which provides some awesome and beautiful views. I liked the tall ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows as well. I came with friends for Movement and the hotel was packed to the gills. There was also a volleyball tournament going on the same week, so the hotel was out of extra beds. Our room didn't even have a fridge, which was absolutely ludicrous. We had to buy a temporary cooler for our food and drink. Other than that, it was a pretty nice stay despite the hotel being low on supplies. But they should be prepared for such rushes if they know ahead of time how busy it will be.
I love the lounge area. It's beautiful and we sat for hours and talked. Even though I paid online for the room prior to staying at the hotel. Marriott held from my acct an additional full room rate charge for 5 days even though I had a zero balance.

Views from rooms are amazing. Conveniently located. Volt, the hotel restaurant, staff needs to be retrained. Service was terrible. Waitress only came once to table. A different waitress had to get our bill after we asked and she overcharged us. This really put a damper on the trip for us

Location from Ford Field was decent Dirty room, no kid friendly restaurant, short on beds (wrong room) oversold, check in for two hours (long lines) slow valet, no room service available, asked 6 times until roll away beds were delivered since we only had 1 bed to 4 people.
Location was great. Near several large venues. Hotel ran out of pillows, roll-away beds and linens! (oversold!) Asked for sheets three times!! Spent an hour in line to check in & elevators were a nightmare. Not good for late night food options other than pizza delivery. A hotel this large should be equipped to handle its guests! Very disappointed!
The hotel was clean in expected Marriott style. Great location. Rooms were a good size with nice amenities. The staff was absolutely terrible. From the person who checked in my party inccorectly to the night manager at the front desk who treated us terribly. The check out process was an absolute mess, mainly due to the unprofessional empliyee the front desk. The service from the front desk staff will be the reason I never stay at this hotel again.
Room was clean I reserved a riverfront room and I received a room on the parking lot. Service at desk was painfully slow to check in.
The location was nice and the view Well the first night was ok they didn't have a mini refrigerator in the room I would think $160+ regular price that it would be included, and they wanted to charge us 20$ a night to rent the mini refrigerator.. The first room we were in had these shear white curtains, looked nice bad idea. Especially if you're a late sleeper. None of the rooms had hand soap in the bathroom, either one of are rooms didn't have heat or air conditioning. Our tv didn't really work in the 2nd room, and we didn't "do not disturb signs. My biggest issue with the hotel was I didn't feel secure enough to leave my Car in their lot. Two cars got stripped in the parking lot left on bricks all four tires gone, I asked where security was he said he was inside. Inside for two cars to be stripped of their tires. I felt unsafe and I definitely won't be staying at this hotel again
Nothing. We had booked this hotel via kayak. When we arrived to the hotel after being tired from traveling we approached the two ladies at the desks. The one lady asked us if we were checking in and we said yes. She then asked if we had a reservation and we said that yes we did. She asked for the last name which we gave her (and spelled for her) and she very rudely looked at us and said "What???" So I spelled it for her very slowly again. She then rudely said "Just give me yo ID". So we did. She then said "When did ya"ll make this reservation??" I said "Earlier today, I can give you the confirmation number..." She then interrupted me and said "No we don't have no rooms, we full". I said "Well can you look at the confirmation number maybe..." Interrupted again "Nothing I can do, contact whoever you got the reservation from." So we left. So rude. Not willing to help us find another place or work with us. Nothing. Contacted kayak and they were amazing. Refunded us the cost and helped us find a hotel.

I stayed here for my honeymoon. I asked for room to be clean and sheets changed the 2nd day. 3 hours later when I came back it had not been cleaned. spoke with various front desk staff and they were not friendly at all. Eventually it was cleaned after going back and forth with the staff.
Staffs were really friendly. Bed was very dirty/they did not wash the sheet/they also did not clean carpet. room was very very dirty ever i had seen.
You guys set me up with an agency who doubled booked me. I would recommend following up with the various agencies first to see if your customers actually stayed at the hotel, instead of shooting out these emails that don't make you look good.
Neat historical building, nice view and location on the riverwalk. Staff was a little quiet, tried answering when asked but almost had to draw things out of them. Felt like I was imposing a little bit.
The receptionist was very accommodating regarding mistakes that I had made in the online booking and took care of me and my five year old son promptly. i would have liked a heavier blanket and the pillows were very big and puffy for my neck.

Excellent location on River Walk; still some rough patches in the neighborhood, but very promising locale. Older brick building has character, high ceilings, deep window sills. Staff I interacted with was friendly and accommodating and did their best to guide guests through the travails of sub-par facility Problems with the older building have not been corrected in the remodel. Water and heating/cooling system are poor. Maintenance of facility is sub-standard (faucets were loose and dripping, for example). Cleanliness could be improved - baseboards were dusty/dirty, bedding was stained, sticky surface on table, etc. Given its location and possibilities to be a much higher-end boutique hotel, remodel should have been of higher quality, from systems upgrades to carpeting, furnishings, amenities, etc.
The hotel was falling apart. In my room alone, there was wallpaper falling off of the walls, unfinished trim, damage to the walls, electrical sockets that were loose in the walls, all of the buttons were missing from the phone, and the quality of the picture on the television was terrible. I have no plans to stay here again, regardless of its value or its proximity to downtown Detroit.
We were in town for a show for the night and had a great corner room with an amazing view! Everyone there was very kind and helpful.

The staff was pleasant and helpful from the moment we arrived. Everyone from the desk to the cleaning crew had smiles and suggestions. My husband and I will definitly stay here when visiting the city again!
The valet guys were super polite and awesome, asked me how my stay was and everything. Never brought us toilet paper, towels, or pillows. Had to call them 3 times if I needed anything because they would just never show up. Front desk lady was so rude, didn't even take my complaints into consideration. I come to Detriot every weekend for work and last week I stayed at a $60 a night hotel that had WAY BETTER service than this $200 a night hotel! Don't waste your money! I wish I could get mine back after how these people treated us! OH I shouldn't forget that on our last day when we called the luggage cart up the lady made my 9 month pregnant friend roll it down and put the luggage in the car without helping her at all! I will NEVER come back here!
The double room suites are incredible! They're huge and feel very modern. This place and the staff are all very nice. $15 to park next door at a lot that advertises $10 rates.
We were blown away by the customer service and room for the price. This is worlds beyond Greektown Casino Hotel. We will stay here again. The valet was a little expensive at $27/day.

We were in town for a national conference just a few blocks away at the Cobo Center. Upon check-in the staff was super friendly and helpful. They even gave us a warm cookie. We were close to the stadiums, food places and downtown. The room was massive! The beds were in a seperate closed off area, so people could congregate in the sitting area if needed. Definitely worth the month compared to other hotels around the area. Having to pay 30 dollars a night to park.
The Aloft is a great hotel. Rooms are nice, although a bit dark and could use more lighting. Staff was extremely helpful and answered all questions. The bartenders at the WXYZ bar were great. The hotel needs a restaurant or small place to eat. For being a wonderful downtown hotel, it is nice to get something to tag at the hotel.
Great location downtown. Historic building gives a special feel and decor celebrates its past. Peeling paint and creepy, dimly lit hallways.

The AC wasn't working throughtout the day, so it did get a bit hot. However, everything else was grand.
I didn't get an opportunity to experience anything good. Despite having two prepaid rooms, my reservation was not held, and we were sent to a local bed and breakfast, that was not in close proximity to my business, nor was it the same quality as the courtyard.
Staff was friendly, everything seemed clean. Comfortable beds, window opened slightly for some fresh air. Water pressure was excellent. Valet was blocking the entire entrance with cars upon arrival so we had to circle the block searching for a parking garage that wasn't just monthly. Saw a bed bug, hoping nothing else comes of that.

The beds are comfortable. The rooms are clean and like new. They have security for the elevators after a certain time. The recreational room is phenomenal with a full weight and cardio area, lots of rooftop balconies. Staff is very nice and attentive. I would come here again even though they nickel and dime you for everything. Being a hotel attached to the people mover is great for getting around downtown too. Saved a ton of money on cab fees! Everything has an additional charge, no continental breakfast, which is fine but they also charge 14.95 for not a very great buffet. Hotel service is great They charge for valet and do not explain at check in they are putting a 100 dollar hold on your card, they say it falls off after making sure there are no incidentals or any additional charges. They failed to mention you're paying for valet which most hotels I have been to don't charge. I feel as if I could've stayed at greektown or antheum, as usual not have so many extras to pay for.
Good location with People Mover station on site and a lil bodega in same building open til 2am. Front desk staff was nice. Our AC didn't work and others worked poorly. I had to go buy fans to sleep. I was told a couple times an engineer would come up. They never did or if they did didn't leave a note. At 730 am our room was 81 degrees, which was warmer than outside. I ordered a sandwich from room service and they refused to give me a side of the mayo they use on their BLT for my fries even though I was happy to pay for it. Then they forgot the permissible ranch lol. Such a joke. Thumbs down.
Room was on back side of noisy elevator. Heard it all night long. Rooms were not ready at 6:00 at night. Checked in at 7:30pm. They did however give us a free night stay.
Overall, the hotel provided a good stay for the evening. My wife and I were in town for a show at joe Lewis and we could pick up the people mover in a few blocks. They also included a free breakfast which was okay. Beware, parking was $27- which included in the price online.
Would Recommend. Good location. Free shuttle within a 3 mile radius very convenient and a great bargain. Good breakfast included also.

Bed was comfortable, Staff helpful and friendly, clean hotel nicely located a walk away from Comerica Park, Ford Field and other downtown areas. Breakfast left much to be desired, toaster was broken, and had been for 2 days. Some of the food was decent, some was awful (don't have the cold, greasy, limp hash browns...)
The front desk staff were nothing but friendly and professional. They went out of their way to help with anything that they could. The bar tender at The Grille could have been more pleasant and friendly. I was with a group of three and she seemed more concerned with some of the "regulars" and we were pretty much ignored.
The rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. The bar and breakfast areas were convenient and suprisingly good. Breakfast was great... hands down one of the best by hotel standards. N/a
Super close to the stadium, theatre, opera house, plenty of bars and restaurants. Close to the casino and Greektown. Very comfortable beds, great staff and great wifi. Heating system wasn't working well and the restaurant was short staffed. But after complaining, the manager was apologetic and tried to make it up to us.
Great location walking distance from many of the great venues in Detroit also only a couple blocks away from the people mover which quickly takes you anywhere in the city you wish to go.

We love everything about the hotel that's why we stay there as much as possible. This is the second time that we booked a king room and were given a room with two queen beds. NOT HAPPY!!!!!

This spot becomes our first-choice hotel for downtown Detroit. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Internet is fast and reliable. Breakfast is fine, especially the made-to-order omelets with a wide variety of ingredients available. Parking is in an open lot adjacent to entrance, but there seems to be good security.
We stay at the Hilton Garden Inn as much as possible when visiting downtown Detroit. It is a wonderful, safe, clean, great location hotel. nothing
The detail, original structure of homes...All the staff were great.The inn provides a shuttle around the immediate area No elevator....ask for lower level room if you have trouble with stairs.

Beautiful rooms, quality furniture, and big bathtub. Breakfast is excellent, many healthy options, free newspapers. Friendly staff and free parking. Good location for trips downtown and also for trips to destinations outside the city. Not too many restaurants in walking distance, though.
This is the 12th stay at this wonderful inn. It is beautiful, relaxing and in a great location plus the van service is the best!
The Inn on Ferry Street is beautiful! Parking was easy and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Complementary cookies and water were a nice touch, as is the coffee that is available in the main house. Our room got VERY hot during the night - when my husband got up to do something about it, the thermostat said 77! Also, there was no counter space or table to put our toiletries on in the restroom. These complaints are minimal compared to how much we enjoyed our stay, though!

Staff were nice and pleasant. Everything else pretty abysmal. An older facility that didn't feel safe, clean or comfortable. Dirty shower and towels. Didn't even look at state of sheets for fear of what we would find. Came out covered in flea bites. Very noisy. Wouldn't stay again or recommend. Stayed here only as rest of city fully booked - paid way too much as a result on top of it all. Would travel out of town to find a room next time.

the staff (one young gentleman in particular) was very welcoming & helpful. He helped with directions, maps, things to do & made arrangements to check us in hours before the normal check in time. The location of this hotel is great. We love to walk everywhere, and we found everything to be within reasonable walking distance (in town for a football game) but there is a cheap 50 cent train ride to take you everywhere too my only complaint about this hotel was the noise at night. I'm assuming it was louder than usual because of the full house in town for the steeler-lions game but we were awoken several times at night with what sounded like shady business a few times. but just for the record, the loudest, longest and most annoying disturbance was an obscene, intoxicated canadian who was locked out of his room at 4am for an hour or so.... the staff made sure to apologize for this when we checked out in the morning.
It was inexpensive and clean with friendly staff in a convenient downtown location that was easy to access downtown Detroit. This was a location that is not overly friendly late at night and a family with young children would need to be concerned if outside in the evenings.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The heat in the room wouldn't regulate. woke up at three am in a sweat and checked the room thermostat. It registered 90. Tried to turn heat down but it continued to blast out of the register. Ended up turning if off and opening the window. The walls between the rooms are very thin. We heard every conversation in the room adjacent to ours. Eavesdropping was fun until that family decided to wrestle and crank up their music. After a half hour of that I finally had to do that awkward thing where you knock on your neighbors door and beg a quieter life out of them

What did I like? My car did not end up on blocks, and it was a $6 Uber ride to downtown. The staff was pleasant. What did I not like? For >$200/night the following were unacceptable to me...The broken glass in the window, blood on the lampshade, only 2 two towels for a noted party of 4, A/C that didn't work, having to walk downstairs to get the fan we request be brought up to us because it never came, and the "mysterious" charge on our credit card at 5am that took two people to explain and blame the person who checked us in. That's what I did not like.
I thought the staff were very kind and helpful. The food in the restaurant (we ate an early breakfast) was very delicious and good value for the money. Everything was clean as far as I could tell. The room! I had a horrible night sleep. The bed was not comfortable, which is my opinion. The thermostat is right next to the heater and I think because of this, the room was constantly hot AND cold. The room was incredibly dry and consequently made me very dry-mouthed when I needed to be the opposite.

I've been utilizing this hotel for a few years now and I appreciate the renovations that are continuing, including the building itself, the staff, and the handling of reservations. Most of my experience has been positive, however about a year ago we had some issues (losing our reservation even though we had already paid, charging us for smoking when we did not smoke but was from previous guests, and not having a room that all 3 of us could stay in together although that is what we had reserved). Those problems have seemed to be addressed as this most recent visit was a positive one. I booked and paid for our room online and had no issue at check in. The staff was friendly and available, the parking was great and they even let my parents park there for the day while we went to the Tigers and Lions games (which saved them about $50 in parking). The walk to Ford Field and Comerica is not bad, however I prefer to walk a couple blocks to the bars that have the free shuttle. Overall, this hotel is a great value and perfect if u need a no-frills place to crash after a ballgame or concert. The Corktown may not be the most clean place in town, but the location and price make it very appealing. Just as the sign says, it's "a fine hotel".
location was only 10 min walk to the Joe and the Cobo centre. the room is dated. Didn't come with any body wash, shampoo, and soap in the room, so bring your own.
Computer at reception for clients, wireless free. Motel in Detroit, do not expect big thing, dont go there with your family. Located in a abandoned place of town, does´t look very safe. Just take care if decided to go there.
The location is the prime attraction for Corktown Inn. At $65 to $80 per night, it needs a upgrade pronto! The carpet is old and molded. The walls in the hallway need painting (other than white or ivory which shows every hole, patch over, dirt, etc). The rooms are stuffy (one cannot open or crack the windows for air) and it is even more noticeable when someone is smoking or experimenting with marijuana down the hall? Perhaps an ozone machine should be used to clear out the rooms or check the heater for dust. The friendly staff makes up for the look of the hotel, and they are always informative and pleasant. As mentioned to the left.....
The staff is wonderful!! If I could take them back to Chicago and get them jobs at the Luxury-5 star hotels--I would definitely "steal" them away!! They care about their guests and always have a kind word or smile. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable: be it extra hangers, towels, toilet paper, or asking about the closest restaurant. Bruce, Sara, Corey, Brian are the top notch employees other hotels like the Aloft, MGM, Westin would pay $15 to $18 per hour to keep. Everyone I spoke with knows they are the keys to this new renovation and hotel's success!!! Corktown Inn has to do something about the DRY rooms! The windows do not open so NO fresh air ever gets inside the rooms. In the middle of the night, one can wake up with a headache and dry, bleeding nose. Perhaps humidifiers can be set in each room or available thru Front Desk. It is an old hotel so I'm not sure how they can counteract this problem for future guests. Also, the carpets are sad. Pull up everything and replace with a simple, all weather grey, black, dark blue carpet because the stains are everywhere!! I feel more protected wearing flip flops instead of socks or bare feet. Yikes! Renovations won't be completed until January? in time for the Auto Show we hope. Fix the washers/dryers in the laundry room, check/repair the elevators, and please bring back the free hot water (for tea) and coffee available throughout the day....
This place was nasty!
I loved the whole look of the hotel. The rooms were so cute and clean. The Detroit artwork was very cool. They provided slippers and a very comfy robe. Location was also great. I know they're working on opening the bar/restaurant, so that will be awesome. I also REALLY appreciated that their little snack shop didn't charge "hotel" prices for the food an drink--keep that up! The shower set up is pretty awkward, hard to reach to turn on. Hotel wasn't very lively but I think because it's just recently been renovated, the word hasn't gotten out yet.
Located very close to Joe Louis Arena. An older hotel so a bit run down. The neighborhood also didn't seem to be the best.

Clean and cheap with free parking. No extras but enjoyed my stay there for the night and slept well.
Proximity near down town room was smelly
our Standard room smelled very smoky so we got an upgrade to a bigger room on a higher flor that was actually very clean and nice. The parking space is very safe and closed. It is close to downtown and the Stadiums. Staff is very friendly an helpful. Furniture is a bit old and used. The room we first had on the first floor smelled Like someone just smoked in it...But asking we could move to another room.
Desk workers were helpful. Overall, it was clean. The bathroom floor was sticky. I refused to take my socks off or take a shower. It was alright for a cheap place to crash while in town for a night.
The Manager was very friendly. The ice machine on our floor did not work
Room ok , bed ok, location to Belle Isle (Indycar race) Broken elevator , someone set off fire extinguisher around 11:30pm and it set off alarms until aprox 2 am- very loud and disrupted sleep- haze in hallway for hours
Good for a quick stay if you're not going to be in the hotel except for sleeping
The staff was pleasant. The location was great. The bed was very comfortable. We were surprised on the bed! The price was right in our budget for that particular wknd. Thank you! We waited like a half hour for the shuttle so we were late for the concert. But once he picked us up he was very knowledgable and brought us right to the front ticket entrance. The was nice! The late night pizza place...I believe it was called Tamarack or something was absolutely a joke. They forgot our order. We called back 2 times after the order was placed and finally got pizza at 3:30 in the morning. Pretty sure the place was already closed for quite sometime. Anyway an experience it was. But I guess I would definitely stop recommmending that place to people. It was the worst pizza take out experience we have ever had!
I liked the location, nice and close to the centre (10 minute walk). Breakfast was o.k. considering it was free and for the price of the room ($70). Free parking is good. Rooms were clean & good bathrooms. Friendly staff, always helpful. Corridors/communal areas seem a bit shabby, but fine really.
The remote, the curtains and alarm clock were broken.
While overpriced for the age, it was the least expensive hotel in the area by $100. Staff was rude at check in. He hardly spoke English, and was on the phone with someone else while checking us in.
Front desk staff were pleasant and accommodating. General condition of the hotel was poor....halls, elevator,etc. Work out facility was not available.

The staff was pleasant when I decided to check out earlier. Not clean. The outside and inside of the hotel are filthy. The entrance is so hidden I was afraid to get out at night or early morning. I checked out after the first night at 6:00 am.
It was horrible dirty nasty and the heater was loud
