Loved how close it was to the beach and the trail to other near by beaches such as long beach. Walking to the other bay was quick and the staff were very helpful in directing us around town. The hill to the rooms is a little steep but not terrible especially if you're young. The staff with drive you to your room with your luggage when you arrive and dive down your luggage when you leave.
The setting with roomview over part of the bay; the restaurant (reasonable included breakfast and good quality thai diners) with seatings on the beach; friendly servants; town in walking distance; resort quiet during daytime. At check-in they insist that you pay the whole sum upfront, iso at check-out as in normal hotels. We agreed to pay half or we would go somewhere else./The loud music from 3 bars in town that can be heard over the bay between ± 22:00 - 02:00 every night spoils the tranquility that you'd expect in this island-resort./Price/quality is very much off from Thai standard: THB 3500 iso 5000 per night would have been more reasonable for this level of accommodation./Reception-staff and hotelmanager not able to take their responsibility after a building firm landed on their beach, including noisy bulldozer and full-size pontoon, blocking the view from their beachterrace for remainder of stay.
Right in the middle of everything on phi phi island. Nice pool, great views and steps from a beautiful beach. Possibly the best buffet breakfast I've ever had. Rooms are not huge but everything else more than made up for that. I'll be back.

The view from our hut was amazing. It rained the whole time during our stay, which sucked, but it was still a beautiful location. You can't flush toilet paper, because of the plumbing. Their customer service is questionable - their network was down during our check-out and we still had expenses to pay. Since their network was down, our credit card could not be run, so they said we need to go the port, take money out of the ATM and pay them that way. We would've been charged a 5% fee for withdrawals, if not more so I told them that and that I refuse to pay that way. The front desk lady said they get charged 3% for processing credit cards, which isn't and should never be the guests problem. I suggested she take my credit card number and keep it for later until power was restored, but I think she did not understand me or didn't trust that I wouldn't cancel the card or something. Regardless, we negotiated the exchange rate with them so we could pay cash (they wanted to exchange $1USD = 31 Baht, but we got them to do $1USD = 34 Baht) We traveled to other locations in Thailand and the customer service was lacking pretty much everywhere.
The beachfront view, the sand and water. The bathroom was awfully dirty and overall grounds at hotel were not maintained or cleaned. Very disappointed.
The staff are so nice and helpful. Got upgraded to a delux room. Relaxing atmosphere.
The island is as pretty as you would expect from the pictures and the hotel staff are very friendly and eager to help you wherever they can. The shower pressure was quite low. The English of the staff wasn't always up to standard, which can occasionally make it difficult for you to get your point across. Please be advised there are many mosquitoes on the island - you would do well to prepare! So bring anti mosquito spray or clothes that cover most of your body for when you sit down to eat.
