I enjoyed the location of the hotel, the staff was friendly. The Internet was sketchy, I had to keep calling down for a password, sometimes every couple of minutes. More often than not the call to the hotel operator went unanswered.
Staff was very helpful but the rooms were really old. Carpet was really old and the room has a very strong musty smell. Staff was great!
Excellent location to Asia Mall and fairly close to the airport. The staff was very friendly and attentive to your needs. Nothing to complain. Very happy with this hotel.

Very basic room. Everything above a simple bed and bath was extra - a lot extra. Showering in the morning was difficult simply because the water would go from very cold to scolding hot every few seconds. Not nice when you have a 1 year old with you. I liked the initial price and how close it was to the airport.
I like the staffs, helpful and respectful. Pleasant and professional. Mon, is his name . The one that cleans my room, he's done superb job cleaning. But everyone is to me is A + if I have to grade it. I stayed there for 24 days and everyone is nice from Room cleaners, to the front desk, gym, restaurant, concierge, doorman/woman, bell boys. I hope I didn't leave anyone out. All awesome, pleasant attitude. The structure needs to be redone specially the bathroom. Needs to take care of ants infestation. Change in room carpet will help.
Breakfast was always fun, many different selections available. The staff was excellent, always giving advice when asked. No ATM on site and casino no longer in operation.
Heritage Hotel by the reception staff did not properly close the accounts of customers, as they make mistakes in calculating the costs of accommodation, repeat customer discount card through the credit to him, that he should repent the customer to stay with them.

The service and comfort was would you can expect in a 5* hotel. The actual rate charged was higher than initially confirmed, due to local taxes and service charges.
Friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. If you're lucky, you get a room with a nice view of the bay like we did. Also, nice pool area and gym. The breakfast was wonderful! Diverse international food to satisfy all cravings. The view from the dining room was great. There's even a garden area should you prefer to dine al fresco. Convenient location. Relatively close to the airport and to many tourist sites. Only a block away from Robinsons mall. Although the immediate area around the hotel seemed pretty safe, a little further afield and you get to see the nitty gritty of Manila. I still felt safe, but you have to be smart.
The friendly staff and the nice view over the town at the breakfast room. (top floor / 23rd level.) The unfortunate thing is the area the hotel is situated. Walking outside the hotel brings you right in the middel of the "red-light" district.
Hotel staff were very courteous, responsive and helpful, no hidden fees all upfront, amenities are excellent and location is very convenient. Breakfast was always sumptuous and lounge has breathtaking views. Simply a welcome retreat after office hours with really beautiful views of the city. Beds were always well prepared. Hotel offered free parking for one car (not valet). Room came with free papers daily. Hotel's location is also in the red light district with lots of beggars and street urchins, street is a main thoroughfare and can be at times difficult for those who drive. Hotel is a bit old with carpets needing a complete overhaul or detailed steaming, beware of short shorts in the lounge; they will turned you away if you're Filipino. Hate to say it but feels like a bit of a whorehouse at times with local girls swarming a bit older foreign male. I could be wrong of course but you be the judge.
Staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful Location, though central, was adjacent to mix of the destitute/slums & consequently much begging. That said, old Manila is mostly a mix of this no matter where u go.
Good staff Dirty room - stained carpets and furniture, cracked marble. I reserved an upper floor room but they lied saying no upper floors were available. This hotel is run by scammers. All the things inside the hotel are extremely expensive. They charge US$10-15 for mini bar drinks plus VAT etc. Internet was $27 for 24 hours -- even 4 seasons doesn't charge that! They rip you off every chance they get.

The buffet breakfast was really good. Ms. Cruz was very helpful. When you booked online, you need to know how their rooms really look like. They place me in the worst rooms (which was on the side of the hotel building). I have been in Manila Hotel a lot of times and I was very upset when I entered the room (smelly, dusty, old) does not look like what I saw in their website. you can asked for the manager and have her (ms.mcruz) fixed the problem.

Stayed at Manila Hotel 35 years ago and it was luxurious and elegant then and it still is! Breakfast buffet was more like a brunch! It was excellent, delicious but sinful ! The second time we were there it was very crowded but then considering it was a weekend, it's understandable !

Not much The carpets are dirty and needs replacements. The lights are uneven. The old charm of the hotel has vanished. It looks old rather than historic. It looks tired and at time tacky.
The room at the tower good. Breakfast has lots of choices and good service too. When i was online trying to select a room. From the website, the room grade i select was suppose to be the newly renovated rooms with rain shower, marble bathroom counter, tv in bathroom and etc... But when i check in, i was assigned to a older room at the main building without all as described. I call the loddy and they told me that my room grade was not the newly renovated rooms, it is available at the next higher grade room. I was not too happy about this as i feel that i was misleaded to book at this hotel because of the renovation. But not so. I talk to the manager and she allow me to change room, but keep reminding me that this is only a courtesy upgrade, next time please book the higher grade room. My point is that the hotel are giving miskeading into on website to customers and the staff should be aware of the room class and provide the correct room to customer.
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The bedding is excellent and the furnishings are all nice. The bathrooms are very nice too. Didn't have meals other than the breakfast buffet, which was the nicest I have ever had, in any hotel (previous stays U.S., Canada and Europe). Had never been to the Philippines and wasn't sure what to expect in accommodations. Manila Hotel surpassed my expectations by a significant margin. Has a feel of true luxury. Some of the surrounding areas seem like they could be a little unsafe. This is not a criticism of the hotel, which is over 100 years old and has probably seen much change in the city. The hotel takes safety and security of its guest very seriously. Just ask them if you have questions about the surrounding areas. We did venture out for dinner and were careful. Keep most of your money in the hotel safe and don't be alone if possible. Bottom line is I will still look to stay here when in Manila.
Continental Club buffet was excellent. The view from rm 4216 was bad -- the side of the next building. The hallway was dim and the light switch didn't work. The bathroom floor had pee stains around the toilet. The speakers in the bathroom were loud and could not be modulated. The room temperature was cold and The AC controls were not intuitive. It's like they just dump you into the room and left you to figure out how to work things out. I thought of asking for another room but it was too much of a bother for a one night stay.

Room is clean, Gym is decent., food good. In spite of booking and being given a "non-smoking room", the room still smelled smoked in. I think it is their ventilation system. If you are a smoker, the hotel is fine. If the smell of smoke bothers you then I would not recommend it.

Courteous staff who are always ready to attend to your needs with a big smile. Great location to reach different points in Metro Manila if you hate traffic. It's a great deal for the money. You can't beat the variety of excellent Chinese food offerings at Li Li. The Market Place Restaurant has the most extensive menu for brunch from Pilipino, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, European or continental fare. Non that I could think off.
The lobby is very nice. Nice room and room service, it's up to a 5 star standard. Why the staff cannot get me a taxi when I need to go to airport ? Asked me to use Uber and which I did. However, I am from United States and Philippines not accepting my form of payment and not able to request one. The staff suggest we just stand there and wait until a taxi come by.. end up I followed up myself after 20 minutes of wait; going back to concierge and ask them to grab me a local Uber... waited for another 20 minutes to catch one...cannot believed peninsula is so behind at this area !!

Hotel lobby and restaurant interior is impeccable. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive to my needs. Location is not quite convenient for shopping. Hotel is located across the shopping centers, but crossing the busy streets of Manila. is not for the faint of heart. I ended up writing a cab. The taxi drivers were fine with the short distance.
Breakfast was lovely. The variety of food available was good for all meals. The gym is excellent. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and there was a nightlight, a nice touch all too often neglected. It's a very nice hotel and I would go back! But.... WIFI access ends the moment you check out. Immediately. Which means that even if you check out at 9am and could have checked out at noon, no wifi for you as of 9am. Hopefully you don't have to call a cab or write a memo. Perhaps you were thinking of a leisurely breakfast in the lobby after checking out while reading the paper online. Nope. In 2015, when you pretty much assume that internet access is available for a reasonable amount of time, that's a pretty strong negative. The staff was far too eager to serve and frankly, a bit overbearing. The first day, I had two members of staff burst into my room while I was in the bathroom (pretty bad luck, I suppose), one without knocking, the other with just a cursory knock and a half second wait. I learned to lock and chain the door and put on the DND light right away. Once I forgot the DND light but locked the door... Ooops! So while I was taking a nap, I got someone knocking at the door for 2 minutes till I got up so they could give me bottles of water. Eating in one of the restaurants requires that you keep a tight grip on your plate or glass if you are having a leisurely meal... a waiter is likely to swoop down and take it away before you can say a word, if they feel you are done, whether at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. While eating, one waiter after another will come over to ensue that you are enjoying your meal, interrupting a quiet evening, over and over again. The service has good intentions, but really needs to back off a bit.
We stayed for 1 night so we could be closer to the airport for the following day's early flight. Location is great and the amenities are great. Love that we were entertained at the casino.

I had a great overall experience. The only thing I didnt like was hidden cost,they ask me to pay way to much for breakfast buffet which was suppose to be include with the room. Since I didnt go directly through the free breakfast buffet didnt count I had to pay
I loved the amenities, the buffet, the pool, and the extremely courteous staff.
The trademark of the hotel is definitely the in-room aquarium, which is why I wanted to try it out. My 6 year old daughter was entertained and spent hours watching the fish swim around. Ocean park is right outside as well. Excellent location for guests planning to visit. Shower and toilet were clean and the water heated up very quickly. Decent Wi-fi speed. Bed was comfortable. Room service was quick. All you can eat breakfast buffet is really good since its free for 2 guests per night. But I had a few guests over for breakfast and i felt like paying 600 php per head was a little too much. Service was excellent. Bath tub placement was questionable since it was out in the open. Not a problem for kids who want to swim around but no privacy for adults who want to take a bath (unless it's more of a couple's romantic weekend, then it wouldn't be a problem). Menu for in-room dining is very limited. Some of the decorative pillows looked like they needed to be replaced. I was really hoping to get a room with a view of Manila Bay AND an aquarium, but its either 1 or the other. I would have paid extra for the suite, but it had no aquarium.

Aquarium in the room if you select this option. Modern room confortable. Too expensive. Awful brreakfast in a fast food area, bad quality disproportionate with the quality of rooms and price. If breakfast is important to you do not go there.

I wanted to write you and tell you about my experience staying at H20 I am a Disabled American , when i arrived the elevator outside was not working and they dont tell me you have a ramp so i had to walk up the steps into the hotel. No one took us their we had a hard time find entrance to go too the 3rd floor. Once im on 3rd floor i had bellman tell front desk if they have special check in for disabled so i dont have to stand in line, the lady told him yes then ignored me and took 6 more people ahead of me. I talked with Bhelle and asked about park she told me buy tickets there and we can use them the next day if we dont see all teh attractions. I asked can i buy there she said no from concierge. we went concierge and he said no got buy at ticket window. So we did that then we go to park at 2pm the next day and cant finish attractions and then they say we cant use them the next day. had i known that i would not have got the 750p tickets. My kids very dis-pointed. The hotel is very un helpful to disabled handicapped people. Their was a lot of garbage outside our window, room 2101. They did put us in the wheel chair room as i needed wheelchair. We were booked in a room with twin beds. Hotel is clean food good but after 3 days sick of eating at same resto and same food. The location of the hotel and the comfort or the room I did not like the fact that in the room the breakfast was stated as starting at 6.00 am and finishing at 11.00 am but when I went down for my breakfast at 10.20 am I was told that it finished at 10.00am not as it was stated in the room.

Nice clean newer hotel! Like most hotels in Manila Area , they are starting to charge a premium like they are New York or Paris ect! It's still the Philippines but poeple are coming and paying these prices so I really can't blame them! I just don't see it, coming here the last 15yrs! the traffic is impossible, so plan on walking!
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, in two separate stays. It was a reasonable distance from the airport and it was a nice hotel. The location was great - the neighborhood was very safe. It was walking distance from quite a few restaurants, coffeeshops, a nice bar, the Glorietta and Greenbelt malls, and the Saturday Salcedo Market. The staff was very nice, the rooms were updated and clean. Overall, a really nice stay. If I visit Manila again, I will definitely consider this hotel. When we were there the restaurant/bar had not yet opened for dinner/evening hours. Thus, we didn't get a chance to taste the food. However, if it's good, it would be a good addition to our stay. It would be nice to just walk downstairs and grab a drink. The laundry service was quite expensive. If we weren't completely out of clean clothes, we would not have used it. However, it was efficient and they didn't end up charging us for the "express service" additional fee.

The hotel has its own personalityt, really cozy and all the staff, including the general manager, are incredubly friendly. I got a black eye before coming to Manila, the genral manager asked me ffor it and withiout asking I received a bowl with ice in my room. Everything was excellent, i will definitely repeat there if I go again to Makati City. Nothing. Just to mention that one day the breakfast food could have been replaced faster, but just a minor issue as I did not have to wait long.
A lovely boutique hotel in the middle of the financial district of Makati... walking distance to many great restaurants, and with its own very special Bistro on the ground floor. Fabulous two-floor gym. Art gallery with contemporary Filipino art. Good sized rooms... fabulously attentive staff. Excellent breakfast and lovely ambiance. No pool; They advertise 'suites' but they are really just a corner to cook in, but no utensils or pots and pans except on request. The fridge is minibar sized and although they advertise complimentary items on request, they did not have a coffee maker 'available' when we requested one. (Not sure about the other items advertised.)

The room is nice and cold. Shuttle to airport is perfect! Elevator card does not work always. I will need to call the security to fix and insert card in the elevator. Reception desk not attentive, disorganized Staff does not project good quality customer service.
It's cheap. It's clean. The internet worked during this visit. The rooms have safes in them. They are flexible on things such as check out times. The staff is pleasant and will try to help you. Remember, it's cheap. These are very small rooms. There is no place to open up the luggage without laying it on the bed. There was a faint smell of bleach in the room. The A/C kept the room cool but the air always seemed kind of stuffy. The window could not be opened. It is back off the main roads so bring a detailed map as the taxi driver may not know where it is. Red Planet is now what last year was Tune hotel. They have a number of locations, hence, the map can come in very handy. My taxi driver swore the map was incorrect up until the time we arrived, right where the map said it was. The surrounding area is populated by many beggars so if you go out for a walk be ready for that. It is not in an affluent area of Makati.

dirty room, dirty fan, broken fan switch, loud hallways, noisy at night, no noise rules posted in hallway, house keeping forgets to clean rooms. Nobody at the hotel can do anything to take care of problems. Nobody with any exective decision making abilities. They didn't care about the problems because they have to follow protocol and I'm not sure it would change. Don't bother.

The old rooms are very bad. The moldy carpeting and musty smell will make you sick. The new rooms are nice. But they are also carpeted, and even though the carpet is new, it still smells. Stay away if you have allergies. I was initially sent to the dungeon upon arrival (old room), but was then upgraded to a new room after insisting AND paying extra. The Thai restaurant excellent. The Japanese restaurant should add traditional western wines to its menu - i.e. French, Italian, Spanish wines. The sushi is mediocre. Carpet is not a sustainable building material. Carpet accumulates dirt, allergens and mites deep within its fibers. Moreover, carpet is made of petrochemicals, it does not decompose in landfills and is generally not recycled. The room's flooring material should be tile.

Employees goes extra mile to give a good customer service , definitely my 25 th anniversarry we will stay in Dusit Manila, and everytime a family or friend will visit Philippines I will recommend Dusit hotel I really enjoy staying in that hotel.not to mention I came 14 hours ahead of my flight and Dusit was fully book but they still find a way to accommodate me that was 12 midnight and they just want to make sure I can rest that night after 20 hours flight . N/A

I asked for them for a cab and was charged 40 dollars for a 4 dollars ride to the airport. When I said I was not paying I was promptly told it was already charged. At this point I didn't have a lot of time to argue since I had to go to the airport.

I could not find anything wrong with this properties amenities, customer service and their focus on customer satisfaction I have only found in 6star properties and exclusive resorts. I would definitely make this my first destination for business and family, I would also recommend Dusit Thani-Manila to all my colleagues local and abroad. I came to this property for 2 reason's, 1st: came recommended by a family friend which I trusted and thankfully took her advice, 2nd: for our honeymoon getaway, which is close to everything(e.g. shopping, airport, other friends and easily accessible to public transportstion(e.g. Uber, Grab, taxi, buses, jeepney and tricycle). I would highly recommend this hotel, the frontdesk staff and concierge are well above my expectation but over staff members we were awesome. I wish I could've stayed longer but I had to get back to reality, but I can't wait for my next visit next year for my first year anniversary and to bring my extended family to experience true customer service.
It was a room. Hotel is old and needs renovation. I'm sure there are leaks in the bathroom behind the shower walls. Convenient to the airport at 5am.
The room was spacious for 2 people, plenty of pillows on the bed (if you are like me and like to have a good amount of pillows) flat screen tv w/ plenty of channels to watch, good size tile shower, ac worked very well, and complimentary oral cleaning kit. Extremely firm bed (Sore back for a few days), problem w/ house keeping they miss counted the towels & tried to charge us, breakfast was free but it didn't change much (we only ate it twice during our 6 nights) Road was under construction so bad traffic.

Nearby Binando Church This is an absolutely dreadful part of town. Open sewers, abject poverty, traffic calamity. If you do not have a reason for staying in Binando, do not stay in Binando.

Very nice e room. With large bath with large tub and separate shower. Would have been perfect , if it had a pool.
I stayed for 5 days for a business conference nearby. The location is great with the best malls at walking distance. I am a vegetarian so finding vegetarian options became a bit difficult but there are a few out there. Staff is very courteous. Room was compact but has a good view and good for business travel. This was the cheapest hotel amongst all the others that were in the vicinity of the conference venue and still had good facilities. Staff was also quite courteous to stop cabs for me every morning while going to the conference. Room service was pretty fast (even when I was on the 26th floor) and internet was hassle-free. The breakfast smelled a lot of non-veg and I couldnt eat there at all but that's just for vegetarians and non-vegetarians may not have that issue. Also, this issue might be there in many other places in Philippines in general.
