Executive rooms with inclusive full service, business facilities, breakfast & evening cocktail lounge Located into Smoking Room on arrival & having to pay an upgrade fee to locate to a No Smoker
well equiped, employees are professional and service minded
Very elegant and comfortable. Hotel staff very kind and gentle. A bit expensive
Great service and fabulous location
wonderful location of the hotel, easy access from every where
Location, room size relative to Japanese standards Fee for internet access, expensive breakfast
The location above Namba station was excellent. The hotel staff weren't always so helpful (front desk/bell desk).
For the hotel like Swissotel should include wifi internet service and free of charge but you have to pay and expensive.
The hotel was excellent, modern, high-end rooms that you would expect from a Swissotel with excellent views over Osaka. The hotel was and right on top of a Subway station and a major shopping and food precinct right in the heart of Namba. If I return to Osaka I will absolutely stay here again.
Truly fantastic location in terms of access to nightlife and hundreds of bars / restaurants close by. Very convenient to Namba main station and metro. Good size rooms , very clean and lovely bathroom. Although not cheap - great value for what you get, reasonable breakfast cost and no hidden charges.
The room is really big compared to the other japan hotels. The decoration is modern and the bathroom is so big !
easy access to shopping and only few minutes walk from subway station. will definitely stay in this hotel again..........
The location of the hotel is great, so it allows you to do alot of things The staff in the reception, they were very complicated, regarding payments with a visa card
I loved the location of the hotel. Being close to all the food and shopping of Dontonburi. There wasn't anything specific that i disliked during my stay.
This was my second stay at the Cross Hotel and would certainly stay again in future, Very convenient location, clean rooms and facility, The hotel restaurant and bar staff were outstanding. Awesome pillow's, so good I bought one use at home,,This was my second stay at the Cross Hotel and would certainly stay again in future, Very convenient location, clean rooms and facility, The hotel restaurant and bar staff were outstanding. Nice hotel, great location, friendly staff. Good value. Will use the hotel again. Shower/bath arrangement not typical for western traveler. However, completely acceptable
Old room, accessories, location of the room etc, far away from a 5 star hotel.
very nice hotel, clean, kind personnel. very comfortable bathroom. nice view to the city, although the castle view room doesn't offer a direct view to it (you have to bend your head quite much...). The hotel is close to 2 railway stations and one subway station, close to the castle and to the aqua-bus (right in front of the hotel). Personnel in the Four Seasons restaurant not english speaking and not kind with the clients...
The Guest Relations were very helpful in providing maps to places I wanted to go. They would checked for information from the internet and made sure we knew our way around.
Close to castle and good views - close to station also Had to pay large fees for everything extra ie internet and fitness facilities
The staff were amazing. They were extremely helpful with tourist information and all of them spoke excellent English. The room was amazing. Very clean and all of our needs were met beyond exception. An excellent experience and I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
The hotel is well positioned if you want to enjoy the busy night life in Osaka, in the "young" part of the city. This means that it's close to Dotombori and Shinshaibashi, where youngsters gather to go out at evening and night. The staff has trouble speaking english and also do not smile that much. The breakfast menu does not have many options and the recipe for the omelet was one of the worst I have ever tasted. The elevator from the street to the reception lobby smells of cigarette smoke like no place on earth.
Location is excellent. The air conditioning can be improved. Room is stuffy at time.
I liked the staff. They were very friendly and they do their best to accommodate you. The facilities were good and they have everything to meet your needs. Best of all, the hotel location is at the heart of the shopping district of Osaka. It would be great if they had a bit of variety in their breakfast buffet. It would also be nicer if you can watch TV with an option to have English subtitles at the very least. They can also improve the wifi because the signal was very erratic. Other than those, everything was great and we had a wonderful stay.
Location was great - right in the middle of entertainment district, near Namba station.
We were part of a wedding party from Guam sothat it was convenient to be with our friends. The rooms were very small and we could not cnn inEnglish.
The staff at the front desk was very kind as everyone is in japan The entire hotel smelled like bleach and smoke. The rooms were absolutely disgusting. Walls were stained, rooms smelled over bearing like bleach and cleaning products I had to leave early. The carpet smelled I felt dirty after leaving. None of the previous reviews held up to the facility. Like staying in a run down hospital. Will never book a hotel through kayak again. And I travel for work and pleasure very regularly. Might be the worst experiment at a "4 star hotel" I've experienced in my life
Dirty. More like 1.5 star motel.
Hotel is clean, most staffs were attentive and helpful. My family and I were extremely disappointed of the services provided by the breakfast restaurant. It was poor and much below standard compared to other 5 star hotels. Staff were unfriendly and not helpful, in fact rude to a certain degree. I would not recommend having breakfast or dine at the restaurant. Otherwise services from guest services, front desk and butler services were outstanding.
Great location near to Osaka Station. Handy for restaurants and convenience store accross the road for anyone arriving late like I did. Attention to detail in the rooms impressive for a hotel of this price. Lovely room which was nicely decorated.Staff really helpful with perfect English. Would definately recommend. Breakfast pretty poor and not worth the 1000 yen extra. Limited choice and small portion. You would be better finding something for yourself in the surounding area.
The location We didn't like the fact that one of us (2 people) had to climb over the other to get into bed...
Very good hotel, rooms complitly new, amazing bathroom with shower and bath, very nice! Very good joyce. A very good pork restaurant at the corner of the hotel, tipic and so nice, people doen't speak english very well in this restaurant but you can trust them, to try absolutely!!! Breakfast is limited but like every hotel in Japan. Staff not very energic somtimes but helpfull anyway.
Easy access from the subway station, clean room with a fantastic shower. It was one of the best business hotels that I've stayed in!
good location and room layout, 2 bottles of complimentary mineral water in-room movies cost 1000 yen per movie
Staffs not well in english communication and no wi-fi available.Only LAN cable provided.
The location of the hotel, it's really in the entertainment area
Excellent location and room. If I ever be in Osaka again, I would be in this hotel.
The rooftop spa on top of the hotel. Free + Good! Not in a very good location
Well designed, Spa using the swimming pool should be included too
Deluxe hotel at reasonable cost. Very nice stay there and highly recommended.
Great location, excellent value for money, ability to check-in early. We were only able to book a twin room - I would have preferred a double-room.
Nice spa on the roof top Location is not very good, room is a bit small
Very new and clean. Rooms average to small for Japan standards but very comfortable. A/C very efficient. Hotel staff excellent. In hotel onsen is most enjoyed feature. Approx 5 min. walk to subway station. 5 minute cab ride (700Y) or free shuttle to Namba station. Looking forward to visit again. None.
The bathroom and room were very clean and equipped. Room too small. As you enter the room, the corridor is really narrow and you hit the walls and hanger closets (didn't like that too). Also the airconditioning instruction was in Japanese, so could not control the air, hence room was too cold or too hot.
The service in this hotel is something out of this world. I had to leave my luggage in the front desk because I arrived early in the morning before check in time. When I returned later to check in, they had already taken my luggage up to my room. They are very attentive and helpful. The rooms are very clean. This hotel is conveniently located right in front of a subway station.
The staff of the hotel are very helpful and the hotel is inside of an excellent area
Unbeatable location near the station and restaurants. Great value for money. The reception staff was mostly dour but always did what we asked. For the price, you can't really expect much though.
great hotel..very good location..close to subway , easy to get trains to Kyoto and Nara for day trips..nice to have a small fridge ...close to the dotonbori area...lots of restaurants nearby also the hotel room for me as a single traveller was actually bigger than i expected for japan...great choice at a great price. will stay there again..
Bed was really nice. And late check out time at 12 is good. Room (single) was teally tiny... Barely had room enough to open my suitcase.
only location every morning the same breakfast, the stuff was very rude, not recommended...
The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. We asked for an extra pillow and the concierge delivered it himself within 10 minutes. Also a very central hotel with a good range of restaurants nearby. Air conditioning very effective and a very powerful shower. The room was too small for real comfort. The bed was an ok size but it left very little room to move in the rest of the room. Tiny bathroom too, but that seems to be fairly common in Japanese business hotels. Probably more suitable for single occupancy than double.
