The overall feel of the hotel and the level of comfort and facilities was very good. The food and service at the adjoining Trattoria were excellent and the village of San Pantaleo is in a great location in the mountains but close enough to the sea. No.
surroundings, were beautiful, hotel was really well designed and well kept with a beautiful pool area.Rooms quite basic for a 4 star but bathrooms were lovely. quiet, mountain village but there are few places to eat incl. Restaurant adjoining hotel...absolutely fantastic food... but quite pricey.Stunning beach 10 mins away ------------------rena Bianca....well worth a visit would love to go back
the food served was exellent on your web site you showed a beautiful pool at the hotel what you failed to tell us it was out of use being re furbished so one of the main reasons i picked the hotel for the pool was out ,it was a birthday present to take my wife to Sardinia and she loves to swim!
Beautiful surroundings, helpful staff, good facilities especially the restaurant and swimming pool No
Best food in the world!!
The atmosphere, the location, the view, Daniel the Manager and the friendliness of the people! The road to´the hotel is pretty difficult to reach.
Wonderful location and spa facilities. Staff were excellent, so friendly, cheerful and helpful. Room (junior suite) although small had 2 lovely terraces with magnificent views and 2 bathrooms! Restaurant menu was simple but food was very good and together with the lounge area had a lovely atmosphere. A perfect place for a relaxing break...feels more like a house party than a hotel.
The location was idyllic, the room very comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Spa facilities were limited as out of season. The food was excellent although a little expensive. The 2km dirt track to the hotel became a chore. Although advertised as heated, the pool was freezing and therefore we were unable to swim which was disappointing.
I liked the surrounding landscape (mountains), the swimming pool and the fact that it was very close to some very nice beaches in the Costa Smeralda I didn't think it was a proper 4-star hotel. The room has got the standard, i thought. It felt more like a 3-star. Having said that, the hotl had a warm feeling and was good value for money given it was half-board (the food was good, by the way).
Everything is wonderfull! Room, breakfast, viewside...
There wa few issues with our room, such as electrical problem & friendliness of the hotel staff at the beginning, however, by day two everything just worked out fine and we had a good time.
rooms were clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good and facilities were good very very difficult to find when driving and its so big that its like a mze
Nice and spacious room, bathroom, nice buffet, the pool is nice and clean with its bar restaurant, large resort, good destination for relaxing. A nice hotel for familly and kids. Almost only italian channels, no international channels (one euronews, one german and one spanish). In the minibar, ONLY bottles of water...4 stars hotel. Almost 10 to 15 minutes from the center of Olbia, 20 euros each way. The spa and the fitness aeara do not belong to the hotel, it's private, so the access to the gym is not for free and it's not open everyday!!! Be careful. Almost 30 minutes to reach Porto Cervo, 100 Euros by taxi each way.
Beautiful position in small village away from the crowds. Small but perfectly formed swimming pool provides perfect spot to relax and unwind. Staff very helpful and friendly, room simply but sympathetically furnished and decorated. Restaurant provides good quality, traditional food in evenings and ambience is very pleasant, but this comes at a probably reasonable, but by no means cheap, price... Only criticism is the breakfast - very basic, and could so easily be improved with just a little more thought....
Very relaxed and quite hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
it is so beautiful and peaceful. We stayed for one night and wish we could have stayed for longer. I highly recommend this hotel.
Excellent value for money. Nice swimming pool, clean rooms, quiet. The town is charming as well. Very good alternative from the very expensive hotels on the cost, while being only 10 to 15 minutes away by car from the beaches, Baja Sardinia and Porto Cervo. Don't dare to come at 9:55 for the breakfast that finish at 10... the personal of the hotel, though arranging, will let you feel their discountant. That's a bit sad for an hotel that is rather for lazy vacation then business travellers.
Very clean. Friendly staff. Beautiful pool. A little more remote than we had hoped.
Be careful if you want to have dinner in the hotel. There is no menu or pricelist. A friendly gentlemen propose the daily menu. He does not tell you the price and you do not get a bill. Later you will see that a simple pasta cost € 14 and an antipasto € 15. We paid for a simple dinner € 127. The air-conditioning is not working. And the dogs keep you awake all night.
Excellent location - close to Costa Smeralda but in its own little village in the hills. Unusual interior courtyard with super swimming pool. Very interesting architecture generally. Good food. Food is expensive so be careful what you order.
Good location for exploring all the beaches along the Costa Smeralda (although you will need a car), very quiet and relaxing, friendly and clean.
The hotel is situated in a lovely position and we found the family who run the hotel to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the rooms spacious. The food at the hotel was the best in San Pantaleo. We wish we could have stayed longer but will return. No
Beautifully designed hotel, all rooms accessed via central 'courtyard' with lit pool via sweeping staircases and built from natural stone (externally). Friendly staff. Big car park. I didn't mind - but you will need a car.
Absolutely perfect!!!! The owners and staff are just amazingly nice, great room (very very new and beautiful) we went to 5 differents hotel in Sardinia and it is simply the best one. the see is very close and the beaches there are beautiful. again thanks for the welcome!!! We highly recommend this hotel to everybody Nothing negative
Wish to stay longer not just 1 night. Great room, food, wine, pool, staff, design...very close to airport. There should be another anotherone somewhere just on the beach
The best hotel out of the 100 or so I have stayed in the past 2 years. Restaurant has amazing chef: almost the only hotel restaurant I would completely recommend. Free fast internet in all rooms, clean, nice pool, fitness centre, sauna, superb staff (allowed an 8pm checkout for no extra charge, and lots of other help), stylish, and has only been built 3 months ago. So good, we are making a trip to go back to the Jazz Hotel.
great hotel. We felt at home when we walked in the door and the staff were all excellent from front desk to maid to restaurant staff. Also, lovely view. Great location too for anyone flying out
Great restaurant !!, easy access to the airport, friendly staff only relevant as airport hotel
Very modern, walking distance from airport, Sky TV, good breakfast
The whole experience although only for one night was superb. We chose it because of proximity to the airport for an early morning flight but much appreciated the high standard of the restaurant, the comfort of the rooms and the smart pool and sun terrace. The staff were extremely helpful. And it represented excellent value for money No
Swimming pool, restaurant, room, service, staff, luxury, cleaness, friendlyness no
The hotel was very modern in design and facilities. Very comfortable
Where do I begin.. The staff were fantastic. Always friendly and willing and able to help out. Breakfast was great -- plenty of food, great variety. It is Italy therefore you will get an Italian breakfast as opposed to an English or an American breakfast or a Caribbean resort type breakfast. The pool and the view are breathtaking. The shuttle to/from the airport and the beach were a very nice touch and helpful. It is a 5 minute drive to the beach and the driver was always punctual. My room was a nice size and spotless. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the service was fantastic. There is public transportation to the city centre and Porto Rotundo. Just ask the front desk and they will provide you with the bus schedule. Excellent!
The pool area and view is very nice and the cleaning staff was very sweet and did a superb job. The reception staff was less service minded and had trouble answering questions about sinmple things. The restaurant was living in the past with boring food and a uniformed staff which was kind and professional and couldn't be blamed for the quality of the food. Get a new contemporary menu and a ambitious head chef and this could be a magnificant restaurant.....
Lovely hotel , great pool
The pool was lovely, infinity pool with a gorgeous view out to the sea and over the bay.Very peaceful and Quiet. Restaurant had a large selection for dinner. Really fresh barbequed fish. Could have better service, lacked attention to detail. Helpful staff when you asked but found you always had to ask for information. We had to work out most stuff for ourself - restaurants times, towels, shuttle bus to beach. No shuttle into town like it says on website, we had to get taxis which worked out very expensive for a relatively short journey.
The hotel is very designed and creates an immediate sense of luxury. There is almost a 360° view and a wonderful infinity pool. It is very beautiful. Free internet access was always available. The approach to the hotel is so steep that it would have been impossible to push a wheelchair up (and probably even down) it. The shuttle service to the beach is therefore very necessary. The menu was very limited for vegans and even vegetarians. The dish which appealed most, failed to be available all the 3 days I stayed there.
The view was great. The location meant that you had to have a car but it was well situated for touring the northern areas of Sardinia. The breakfast was good although it would have been nice to have some hot choices, The acyual pool was great. The hotel was isolated so you had to drive to a restaurant in the evening, The menu at the hotel was very limited and somewhat boring. The area around the pool needs some attention. There wre holes in the grille around it and the loungers were falling apart.
Foxtel and the ability to watch something in the english language
Staff very pleasant, and helpful, room was a good size, pleanty of towles and spare bedding Furniture in seating area uncomfortable, very difficult to get afternoon refreshments as there was rarly any staff serving in the bar and you had to knock the counter and half the time they didn't come,it appeared the hotel was closing down for the season ,so we were amazed they stay open all year, our room although adequate when we arrived had a very bad smell, also the toilet needed a good bleaching, and our room although on the 1st floor wasn't made up untill late in the afternoon, so any afternoon siesta was out of the question.we also found that there was not enough meat served in the restaurant, although various meats were on the menue it had to be shared by 2, 3,or 5 people, ummmmm bit stuck if there's only 2 of you.we felt the pool was in a unkempt state of repair with all the broken patio slabs.also as we are none smokers we found the level of cigarrette buts around the pool not pleasant at all.
Good location if you have car
Attitude of the staff, general ambiance, details, a general feeling of a very pleasant accomodation unavailability of adslconnection in the wonderful suite where we were staying
nice room with seaview, fiendly staff, walking distance from centre of town, which is very attractive for shopping and dining nothing
We used the Hotel Martini as a last night stopover on our holiday to Sardinia as our flight left from Olbia on the Sunday morning and we didn't fancy a long drive first thing after packing up at the Villa. Our Italian isn't that great so it was a pleasure to be greeted with reception staff who were fluent in English and more than helpful. We arrived a few hours early and they were happy to check us in to our of our suites (we'd been given free upgrades to both our rooms from twins to Suites - always a pleasant surprise !). We were able to chill out in the bar area and treated to great, attentive (without being over the top) hospitality. On the Sunday morning the drive to the airport only took about 10 minutes. A great hotel with excellent staff. There wasn't really anything to complain about but if I was to be really picky I would say that the location isn't perfect for access to the centre of Olbia (about a 10-15 minute walk through pretty boring streets).
very nice room and welcoming staff!
The staff is very friendly and kind. The location is good. The room is small. The shower curtain was not fit.
Very pleasant staff to greet you on arrival.Very central to restaurants, bars etc.Near to the airport so you could stay like we did just for 1 night after a flight.Very delicious generous breakfast. Perhaps a bit noisy, but due to the location to be expected.
we had a room overlooking the main street and did not here any voices or noise. impressive soundproofing
Friendly staff The air filters need to be cleaned in the air conditioning units. The filter in room 105 looks as if it has never been cleaned and was full of stuff.
Fabulous Location, Very friendly staff, amazing buffet breakfast, great rooms which are very nicely appointed and excellent value for money
The hotel is located right on the main street in the center of Olbia which was pretty convenient when looking for a place to eat late in the evening. We were only staying for one night to catch a flight early in the morning and they were pretty flexible with providing us with some breakfast before 7am. It is not possible to park directly on the hotel street and parking in the center is not easy to find.
Excellent position, friendly service, nice breakfast Room outlook disappointing
The friendliness of the staff and the clean newly renovated decor of the hotel. It was also ina very convenient location either for the town and restaurants or for the beach and was only 10 mins from the airport. The breakfast was a continental style breakfast and well presented but there was nothing savoury which for me would have enhanced the options for breakfast.
The grandeur and the breakfast. Large, comfortable bed. The noise of the disco we experienced on the Saturday night we stayed was very annoying. I specifically booked the hotel in order to get away from the noise of the camp-site so my son could have a good night`s sleep before travelling early the next day on an important cricket tour. At the time of booking it was impossible to know whether there were any noisy discos nearby. Also the air conditioning wasn`t working in our room so we had to change room, but this was dealt with efficiently.
It is of the style and quality level that myself and my wife appreciate. The Restaurant facilities where curtailed.
Beautiful building spoilt by being right on a very busy roundabout leading to the port. Average size room but with a tremendous balcony opening out on to the street side of the hotel. Right in the heart of the restaurant and shopping area so not too far to go to find the main street and something to eat and drink. Good internet access in the room (by cable). Bit of an end of season, shoestring feel to the place (end of September). Had to leave my wife out in the street with the suitcases while I let them know we had arrived. Blank looks when I asked for help with the luggage. Eventually a luggage trolley was produced and the manager helped us transport our kit to the room. Breakfast was a little abstemious - not that there were many in the hotel! Air conditioning was not very good so I should imagine that in the height of a Sardinian summer it would be baking in the rooms.
Good looking hotel with glorious views over the harbour from the elevated balcony (we were on the 4th floor). Nice room (if a little cramped)with lots of toiletries. free internet!! We arrived in Olbia on a day when there were stalls set up in the streets and there was a fun (sic) fair on the other side of the street. The hotel was fairly full and it was only later on that this became a nuisance. The funfair did not go on too long so was not too much of a problem but there was a group of British guests who decided to have a Glee in their room with singing, chanting and poetry recitals until the small hours. Not great when you have to get up early to catch a flight! On another note I would ask when the hotel is going to do something about getting luggage in and out as those steps at the front are murder with 2 full suitcases!
