There are not enough elevators for the number of rooms. There was always a long wait to get into an elevator cramped with people. Parking was down a huge hill with tons of stairs. The hot water never stayed on. The warmth would only last a few seconds at a time. Then it would be minutes before it was warm again.
The only good part was the in-room jacuzzi. It seemed new and worked well. Noisy hallway. Kept waking up to noisy heating/AC unit. Bed was horrible...felt several springs. Towels were torn and odd smelling. Bedroom and bathroom were clean, but old and depressing...needs a remodel. Workout room had only cardio...free weights anyone? Breakfast was awful...rubbery eggs, stale cereal. Just about the worst coffee I've ever had. We also stayed at Chateau on the Lake and Hilton Promenade. There is no comparison. Those two are SO much better, the Hilton being our favorite of the three.
check in was easy, awesome view on 9th floor, bed and pillows were very clean and comfortable. The shower had very good pressure and breakfast was great. We got a call shortly after arriving to see if everything was satisfactory. there were no towels in the room so my husband went to the front desk to ask for some and they said they would bring some up and they never did. We had to dry off with hand towels and eventually went to the pool and got some from there. It was the 4th of July and it was packed which was expected, but one of the two elevators was broke so it took forever to get to and from our room. checking out took an hour because we ended up using the stairs due to the one elevator being so overly packed and stopping at each floor.
We liked the view. There were ants in our room. We used the pull out couch. The mattress pad was dirty and there was no other bedding in the room for the spare. we called the front desk at 9:30PM. The staff brought just one sheet and no pillow case.
Easy of location. The breakfast was terrible if you like real food or anything resembling real food.
Huge jacuzzi tub in king suite was wonderful. Breakfast is always great. Rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. This is our go to place to stay on Branson.
Rooms appeared clean. Good access to the rest of Branson. Elevator situation is horrible. Staff does not police guests so it's frequently loud and overwhelming.
Liked the cleanliness and decor Beds were comfortable, breakfast had a nice little selection. Only negative is that they sectioned off an area on the 9th floor where you get complimentary breakfast, it was the very best view Therefore we had to sit where you couldn't see a good view What a waste. Those were the best tables in the house but sectioned off with yellow tape
trying to get into the hotel we were told to come back in an hr after driving 10 hrs to get there and then when we came back in an hr we were told to come back in another hour. the first lady was extremity rude when she spoke with us. the second lady was nice the first lady also was rude to my father when he asked her a question. I will NEVER stay there again when i pay for something i expect to have polite service it really isn't that hard to check someone in and out no need to be crabby you are in customer service, and if you don't like to serve the public leave. also the elevators were super slow and we just walked up the 5 flights of stairs to our room. breakfast was on the top floor so again slow elevator and walk back down.
Breakfast was Great. Staff were Great. Nothing
Sleep number beds. Size of the pool.
It was in a great location and the lobby area looked great! - Room was dirty - Stains on the sheets and furniture - Room had a VERY bad odor to it. - Room was a lot smaller than other hotels in the Branson area. It was not what I was excepting for the price I had to pay. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that are cheaper and have a better room to offer.
Price (thru Kayak) Very noisy...people running around above us. Also, parking is sometimes hard to find in the lot.
Great location on the strip; close to shopping, restaurants, etc.. Hotel looks orderly and modern compared to some other smaller hotels in the area. Clean rooms; what you would expect from a Radisson experience in larger metro areas. Nice to experience this kind of hotel in Branson. Parking lot is on a hill and very steep - be careful getting in and out, and if it's in the winter or icy/snowy, park behind the hotel instead to avoid problems.
Had a room on the 9th floor, a suite for $128 plus. Very nice. We had a problem with toilet late at night and they were on it within ten minutes! All hotel staff is very accommodating and pleasant. Nice bistro and bar on location. Location location location. And no service ( shuttle) to get around. Too far out of town to walk to places. Expensive from airport to hotel.
SMOKEY We have stayed at Radisson several times over past 15 years and have always have had a good expierence. This time was still okay, but we could smell smoke. We are both alergic to smoke and are more sensitive than most. Not a high level but enough we both were plugged up by morning. Seemed stronger near bathroom area. Possibly someone smoking in room nearby or coming through shared exhaust vents. We didnt complain because it was only 2 nights and the first time weve had any problem with the Radisson. We will try them again--great location for us.
The tv and mini fridge was updated. It had a jetted tub. Everything seemed to be pretty clean. The employee was very nice and if we would have needed anything he would have done his best to help us. There was a restaurant in the same parking lot. Also, if you're a pet lover, they allow pets. It was just a simple motel with your typical old motel covers and smell. Had a small hole in the ceiling. There was other poeples hair in the bed and on the pillow. The sheets and covers seemed to be the same as when they opened the motel. I think if the covers would have not felt so used and uncomfortable, the other things wouldn't have even mattered to me.
