Staff was very pleasant, rooms were great, swimming, game room, beautiful hang out area with firepit, and great breakfast. --
Breakfast Old soft beds
Clean, friendly staff, walking distance to several good eateries. Would be happy to stay there again. Like a lot of hotels, the gym is cramped.
We were very impressed with the hotel as a whole. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Even with 3 floors the hotel was quiet and we slept very well. The breakfast was GREAT! Tons to choose from and even almond milk offered. Omlette station was so good!! The atrium where breakfast was served was very nice and spacious. Room had a microwave and fridge. The pool is a little small and the hot tubs were a little dirty. The outdoor hot tub should be covered because it was full of leaves and dirt. The work out room was nice but there were not sanitizing wipes to clean equipment in between uses and the ab ball was very flat and old. Shower had pretty low pressure too.
Nice staff. Clean rooms Older building and small rooms
Clean, some updates to rooms, helpful staff, great location, good breakfast, pool with both indoor/outdoor hot tubs, pool and sauna. Outdoors offers nice fire pit for relaxing. Building itself is showing it's age, could use some sprucing up. Pool area really needs some freshening with peeling paint in indoor hot tub .
The staff was very nice, the beds were very comfortable and the gentleman who fixed the omelets was great. Best omelet ever!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is good and the amenities very good. Free wi-fi, breakfast and parking always appreciated. Beds were comfortable and the hotel and room was very clean.
Great location. Restaurants and stores within walking distance. Close to downtown. Staff very helpful. Very nice room. Great coffee 24 hrs. Pool and hot tub open 24 hours. Exercise room and laundry facilities on site.
Staff was very helpful and professional.Breakfast was good, not great because the eggs were below par and terrible. No,on the whole it was good and we would stay there again.
this was my home for three night while visiting glacier nat'l park, a little far to drive to the park but was well worth it.
Easy check in. Good communication, very friendly, helpful staff from front desk, housekeeping and breakfast hostess, clean, quiet, nice lobby and atmosphere. Breakfast was advertised as 7am-10am. We arrived at 9:50am so almost all the food was gone, but in all fairness to the hostess she was feeding a bunch of pre teen hockey players and their parents. She went out of her way to make sure I got some sausage at "last call" for breakfast.
Staff was friendly, room was spacious and nice.
The bed was very comfy and I loved that the bed felt clean including the white cpmforter, we also loved the pool. Breakfast was mostly delicious We noticed the edges under the bed looked as though they hadn't been cleaned, the fruit at breakfast tasted old perhaps leftovers, and the lady running the breakfast room was rude, tapping her foot and rolling her eyes because it was almost 10 and she "wanted to get home" she seemed very pushy to get everyone out of there so that she could be done......having worked in the hospitality business myself I can understand wanting to be done and get home but I can't imagine being that pushy and rude and keeping my job!
The coffee and teas/ cookies were very nice. The breakfast staff were very friendly. "Seda" our housekeeper did a great job. Bed Pillows!!! New ones are needed!!
Very nice helpful staff.
All the staff were very friendly, and helped us with an issue, without any hesitation. The location of the hotel is ideal too. The only thing that I had a problem with is there was a used face cloth left in the bathroom.
Good breakfast in the morning. staff was great! Shower had some peeling paint. You can hear everything that goes on in the hallway. Noisy in the morning. Door needed to be pushed hard to be locked
Just about everything was excellent. The bed was to soft and the access is off of a busy street.
Wonderful breakfast! Cookies also a nice touch! The beds were too soft
My kids did enjoy the pool When we arrived the room smelt like a belt had burnt on a vacuum and the staff was not willing to do anything but send us with some spray to try to freshen the room
Would prefer a breakfast buffet.
They had availability It was fine, would have expected a breakfasted included for the price.
Access to the airport. The cookies We were not given the access to wifi. The desk had us checked out after one night when we booked 4. The room was not cleaned at all the second night. They did not offer anything for the inconvenience of full trash cans dirty towels and a messy bathroom. The breakfast was too expensive for what was offered
The room was clean and it has a nice lobby with 24 hour coffee I went to check in at 3:25pm and was told the room I reserved wasn't ready and to come back in 45 minutes . 50 minutes later I came back and was told it still wasn't ready and was told to come back in another 30 minutes I must have looked disappointed because the desk clerk said in a snotty way that, "we have 144 rooms and only 2 cleaning crews." Nice room but the walls and ceiling are paper thin. Keep looking.
Nice rooms and clean Overprice rooms and overpriced breakfast
Wi-if was terrible. Intermittent and slow. I've stayed in places that cost 1/4 of what they charged whose internet wi-fi service was phenomenal.
this has a very nice garden area to have your breakfast in. It is designed in a lodge look atmosphere. Very conducive to the area to relax in and have business. You are very close to several shops within walking distance a nice movie theater and yet this on the end of the street so it is quiet. I like that they allow pets even though I do not have one with me as it's nice to see people out walking small animals. It allows for a relaxing atmosphere even in a business setting.
Big room, nice amenities, friendly staff, food Nothing
Felt comfortable, warm, and staff is receptive to needs.
pool was nice. free breakfast is a plus. older lady was one of the most helpful people and nicest people I've met in a long time. some of the staff was kinda rude. house keepers need training in a bad way and the hot tub was broke.
The desk help *Wreaked of cigarette smell everytime you walk in *Thin walls/loud neighbors *Maids NEVER cleaned room even though the door hanger requested it every day! Even after running into one in the hallway and her guaranteeing she would. *Hair on the blankets. *Bleck.
Very good value, though expect just the basics. Worked well for what we needed - a place to sleep. Beds were a bit odd and heater clunky.
The lady at the front desk was nice. The rooms are very clean. Tje price is very interresting The brakfeast was too small
I very pleasant place to stay. The staff was excellent. Nothing fancy here. The price, however, is very good compared to(nearly) all of the other motels in the area.
Dog friendly Friendly staff Rooms have oders Needs updated like others 6's
Cheapest place in town, but clean, quiet and professional. Expectations were low and came from a week of wilderness camping at glacier national park, so it pretty much exceeded expectations. Bathroom could use shampoo/soap.
The price was right for what we got. A bed, small shower, and some crappy coffee. We were far enough away from the park to get away from the crazy traffic, and it was a pretty drive into it. The rooms are supposed to be smoke-dried, but reaked of smoke. Even had an ash tray in the room! We all woke up irritated from the smoke smell. And no breakfast. Not even fruit and rolls.
The lady who checked me in was very nice The room was shabby smelled nasty went to store bought spray to try to coverup smell as there were no other rooms available in town I had searched earlier bathroom floor had the plastic strip that holds price tag on clothing from prior guests there were 3 in bathroom & 2 at the motel door entrance the blankets looked as if they had been on the beds for a while I almost went to store to purchase new blanket for the stay but had got busy with work & missed the mall Carpet had 3 large areas of stains would not have children or pets stay in the motel if all rooms are like this. Carpet very nasty
The only thing I can say I liked was the employee behind the counter. He was very friendly and helpful at check in. The room smelled like cigarettes and pets. It was awful. The carpets were stained. The bed was so uncomfortable that we could have probably gotten more and better sleep sleeping in the car. We couldn't even enjoy watching tv, the TV was so old and small. They have no amenities in the room, not even shampoo or a blow dryer. Coffee and tea is the only thing available for breakfast. They charge for the use of wifi.
It was a very clean little hotel for a few hours of snooze before catching a flight. My only complaint woukd be there is no wifi unless you pay.
Friendly service, inexpensive. Bed too hard and thin walls. Could hear many noises outside and from the room above.
Nothing except the ladies at the desk. Calling the rooms non-smoking was a joke. Both rooms reeked of tobacco smoke. In addition, a group of "guests" sat out on the grass below my 2nd story room laughing, talking loud and smoking until after midnight. I would not recommend this motel even for one night.
The staff was warm and very helpful; the room was clean and the bed comfortable. And the price can't be beat. Amenities were minimal -- not even a free vial of shampoo. The carpet had seen better days and the shower was pitiful.
Comfortable, clean room. The breakfast was very basic, but adequate. The only thing I found annoying was the Inn was located beside two main roads. Traffic noise was loud, but became quieter throughout the night.... Till morning... I'd stay there again, but i'd bring ear plugs.
The bed was awesome. Best nights sleep the whole trip.
Historical hotel maintained at a superior level of care and cleanliness. Very nice.
Check in was beautiful. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. I'm impressed. Road noise on Main street was loud but expected for its age and location.
Fresh cookies made each night, attentive staff, friendly staff, coffee and breakfast in the morning No major issues - all in all a very good value of a hotel.
The staff was great and the room very clean. Loved that cookies and popcorn were available and the staff have us a recommendation for dinner. Because there's a window unit AC it is essentially as though the window is open. This meant there was lots of ambient noise from the street below, but that's not too surprising given its location. Also, while the bathroom was clean and adequate, it was very small.
Very nice clean rooms. Breakfast great. Used laundry services. Would visit again.
The staff was excellent! They put out warm cookies at the desk in the evening and gave us a bottle of sparkling cider because it was our anniversary! The bed was sooo comfortable. It was the best sleep I have ever had!! The hotel was extremely clean and the hotel is very new!
We were on a tight schedule, trying to cram a lot of sightseeing into four days, so we did not take advantage of the facilities, other than our room. Additionally, we have a pool and spa at our home in L.A., so although we saw others enjoying the pool etc., we cannot give a personal review. The hotel is located directly across from a large, modern strip mall, with many popular stores. The facility is attractive, new, and wecoming. We found our room to be spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. The bed and pillows were heavenly! There was a microwave and a decent size fridge, both clean and convenient-and unobtrusive to the decor. We even had a view of the mountains, not spectacular, but better than the parking lot! The bathroom was very nice, with attractive stone tiles, marble counters, and a great shower. Even the towels were wonderfully thick and fluffy. No complaints about room service or other staff we encountered. All in all, we enjoyed every aspect of our stay!
Don't be fooled by the pretty exterior. We stayed for three days and had no hot water on any day. The breakfast ran out early every day, and dirty dishes and food was not cleared away. We were put in the room right next to the laundry room, which had a broken door that slammed VERY loudly. It shook our room and others down the hall. We asked to be moved, but the place was booked. We asked them to fix the door, but they ignored us. We were awakened at 6:30 by the noise of the door, and this kept up every few minutes until near midnight. It was intolerable. The bang was so severe it knocked the phone off the hook every time. We finally left two days early because we got no rest. Comfort and relaxation are more important than a pretty decor.
Only stayed one night. Very clean and close to anything you could need. It's not listed, but they do not have an airport shuttle. The cab ride was * to the airport. That was the only downfall to this hotel. The Holliday Inn in Whitefish does have a free airport shuttle though.
Hotel was like new, but hidden and tucked behing a big box retail store--so it was has to locate the first time.
I agree with the other reviewer and was there when the pool was NOT ready yet.We found this VERY disappointing. The rooms however were VERY nice, spacious, clean and modern. We loved the flatscreen , microwave and fridge in the room! Very nice breakfast offered every morning, just wish i was told the HOURS of operation. We will return and hope that the pool will be ready then.
Great location, service and room. We will definitely be back here for an annual getaway!
I stay at the Holiday Inn quite often. Every time I stay in Kalispell and go to check in they know my first and last name. They greet me like family they havent seen in a few years. I just look foward to going to Kalispell I feel so welcomed. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The housekeeping staff is wonderful if I need anything they bring it right to me. They have fresh cookies out every night. Every time I stay there I read a different book from the shelf by the fireplace. They are very accomodating to my needs, they know what floor I like to be on. I just love staying at this location. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends and to any one traveling to Kalispell.
Hotel is brand new. Located at far north side of Kalispell. Rooms are great. Room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Very disappointed that pool has not completed construction even though website says it is available. Call to verify if it is open if this is important to you. A lot of strip mall shopping is going up nearby. Family friendly hotel with free breakfast. Two computers available for internet use. May need a month or so before they get are completely ready for business. July 6/07
Great location, service and room. We will definitely be back here for an annual getaway!
I have stayed at at least 5 different Holiday Inn Express hotels over the past several years. The Kalispell property is as good as any I've stayed at. It is very new or very well maintained. The room, hallways, lobby and laundry room were all very clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet was excellent and was usually available prior to the advertised 6:30 am serving time. The warm cookies every evening were also a nice touch. Any monor problems were quickly resolved by the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Room was decent sized and seemed clean. The hotel is in serious disrepair. Probably a very nice facility in it's earlier days, but now it's not only in need of updating but repair. I got the feeling the owners weren't interested in improving the current facility. Everywhere I looked it seemed like something needed repair - from the broken ceiling panels in the ladies room to the capped off hot tub area, where once there were three hot tubs, only one remains functional.
It was inexpensive Smelled mildewy. felt unsafe. looked run down.
Staff was incredibly friendly! My reservation was lost and they kindly and enthusiastically made it right, and changed rooms when first was wet from a leak. Breakfast is standard items. Beds are comfy, basics are clean, just old. Our second room was updated carpets. Pool, hot tub and kids pool old but functional, away from main rooms. Old and in need of repairs/ the first room the bathroom was flooded from a leak in the ceiling. But staff was great and worked to find us a new room. It must have been a grand convention center in its heyday! Don't expect too much but worth the price for a safe place to stay when the rest of the town is $100 more for rooms in summer.
Location was good It's in the middle of a remodel, hallways and lobby were cold, you had to walk outside in 0 degree weather if you wanted to use the indoor pool, the shower in our room did not work, poor signage to find the building, was load in our room when other guests were walking in the hallway.
The motel itself was okay. I liked the different themes of all the rooms, but it was obvious that most people staying there were long term tenants and a bit shady as well. The motel advertised a pool and hot tub, but the hot tub was colder than the pool and obviously not functioning and both looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The room was less than clean and I'm not sure they changed the bedding as one of my pillows smelled heavily of body odor (I didn't use that one). The location was nice as it provided direct access toward Glacier Park and was close enough to the center of town to not be inconvenient. The staff was friendly, but over all I don't think I'd stay there again.
Rooms were themed. We were in the Marilyn Monroe room. A fun idea. Tight asses won't like. Outside was somewhat rundown with bikers around. Old chairs and coffee cans for cigarette butts were everywhere.
Have always traveled and stayed at these small Mom Pop places. They usually had a friendly, clean, honest priced and safe feel. Room was of nice size, laundry, continental breakfast, air conditioning/heat, and television. The bed needed replacing and they had people roaming/staying that were not of the responsible honest type. Grounds need to be updated also. Not in walking distance to any restaurant or places of interest. No internet to conduct business or personal unless you brought your own PC.
Friendly and courteous staff. location - too close to busy highway!
not one thing they over booked and blamed Kayak for that, I'm glad that happened because we ended up at another motel that was much better. I don't think I would have had a car when I came out in the morning from the blue and white, the staff was scary looking people, the place was ran down and very dirty. people smoking and blowing it right in our direction, the blue and white was a night mire.

Friendly staff, room was clean, parking lot & grounds were immaculate. Good value for the money.
Free breakfast and nice staff Better breakfast selection
Nothing special and nothing really bad. Just a place to stay Check-in was very slow, minimum items, heat your own type breakfast, location was off the beaten path . Thought cost was high for what we got compared to other places.
convenient location. we were not in the room long, we ate slept and left early for the west gate of glacier park. No it was the best one we stayed in on our 4 day 3 night vacation.
The Staff.Very clean and fresh.Good location.great value for money. No
Totally average. Nothing special about it. Afterall, it's Super 8. For $--- a night they could be a lot better and cleaner. Cleanliness is not Job #1 with them.

Room is updated/modernized. Floor in room and bathroom did not appear to be vacuumed or swept.
