Food in restaurants was great! Rooms were very good. Lacks space in rooms and proper electrical outlets for charging phones/tablets
From the moment we walked in we were greeted with great customer service, which continued thoughout the whole trip. The restaurants were all very good, the casino was fun and I didn't lose any money! There wasn't much I didn't like. I requested a microwave and never got one because they didn't have any available. They instead paid for our breakfast at the diner, so it ended up alight.

Everything was ok room wise They charged my card 25dollars for no reason as a addtional charge. And never got a statement of how the cost was broke down for what. Not happy at all
The staff treated us like guilty ID thieves. We were ID'd every time we turned around. I was accused of not being myself. The lady called security to ID me again. It was relentless how they went out of their way to let us know who was in charge. I didn't like Sheila at the casino. She was a horrible pit boss and should lose her job.

Fast check-in. Very clean room, beds were comfortable. Good price for one night stay. Had to call twice for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport. It took about 45 minutes. Being remodeled so the restaurant looked like a temorary set up with a some square bare tables and an electric food server on the counter. The "bar" was a ledge near the lobby with 2 beer taps and not a soul in site. Places to eat were about 5 miles down the highway.
Location is everything! The price was adequate. The room was clean and quiet.

Airport pickup and close to airport They charged me $25 to check in early as I needed to change clothes for my business meeting. They did not mention that had I waited 20 minutes there would be no charge. 'Company policy', the refuge of cowards.
The best were very comfortable and linens were very soft aND perfect after a long day of travel. There was only one ice room per floor.
Inexpensive and near the airport
The location was good, close by the airport. Beds were clean and somewhat confortable. Ok, for one night. There was mold under the toliet seat in the bathroom and hallways were rather noisy. The staff was ok, but when we checked out in the morning, no one was there. Only the person who sets breakfast out was there and didn't speak very good English.
The staff were always friendly and helpful. No electricity at the desk. Missing trim on nightstand. Drawers would not stay shut. Stained linens.
Housekeeping needs to be trained how to clean a room. Hair in the bathtub on our arrival, no working alarm clock, and the chair by the bed felt like you were going to fall thru. The bath towns are like sand paper, so be careful. Continental breakfast was a let down. Overall, we probably wouldnt stay here again. To much money for what you get. Staff was very nice though.
The staff was friendly and helpful. They were always available and were sincere and helpful. The whole hotel is in poor repair - from fading and chipped paint and rotten trim on the outside, to worn carpets, musty halls and rooms, and damaged walls in our bedroom. The room we stayed in was damp and musty smelling, and the walls were damaged (sheetrock issues that had been poorly repaired). On top of this, the room wasn't very clean - lots of noticeable dust build up in the corners and on some furniture. The furniture was also chipped, had visible cracks, and was from the 1980's. I wasn't expecting the Ritz or for the styles to even be from this decade, but I did expect everything to be in good repair and acceptable and presentable working condition. If you read other reviews, you'll notice the trend of poor cleaning, musty/moldy smells, and poor repair.
The location was important since we had an early morning flight & wanted to be close to the airport. The bed was comfortable, and that was nice! Check in was backed up and took a long time.
After a long day waiting on a delayed flight then eventually being canceled we found the hotel to be very relaxing and quiet. Staff was very friendly.
Price was the main factor in our decision to stay here. The facilities were fine, the atmosphere was fine (other than the real crowded, tiny breakfast area with cold biscuits and a sticky floor!). I would probably still stay again, simply because of the price. The breakfast area was too small for the number of people trying to get breakfast. Everyone had to wait a long time to use the one waffle maker, the floor was sticky, and the orange juice tasted a little sour. Certainly not a 'make or break' issue, though.
This hotel was awful. My room wasn't clean, the shower liked disgusting and the bed had stains on it. Pool was closed by the health department. They tried to overcharge me. Breakfast included a community jar of peanut butter. If I had another option nearby I would have left but it was a quick stay. Avoid if you can.

Clean - very close to the airport - friendly staff - affordable. Generally when looking for a short overnight stay at an affordable price it's hard to find a place that you really feel comfortable staying at. Cleanliness was my main concern, it met my standards.
The room was very nice beds were pretty comfortable although there was some bugs in the room roaches The front desk staff seemed annoyed with business travelers needing fax and tax print ours for record keeping. There was no friendly greeting you definitely knew you were supposed to quietly go to your room and not expect friendly hospitality
The room was disgusting. The entire hotel had all different kinds of smells, and not good ones. Found all kinds of different small hairs on the linens and towels. I originally booked the room for 3 nights, I left after the first night and booked a different hotel. I have never had a problem with Days Inn before, but this was one of the worst ones I have ever stayed in.
Very friendly and helpful staff HVAC system right outside window & keep us awake every night--Heater control did not work work in room and was very warm even though we turned the heated down to 58 degrees (rm #222)

Best of all was the host, who did everything she could to make us feel welcome. She was so kind and resourceful! The hotel was easy to find and felt very comfortable to stay in. The room was very nice, the beds were large and comfortable. It had sufficient ammenities for our needs. I loved the fitness room also, especially the tv in each machine. I also enjoyed the coffee bar. The shower seemed weak.
The hotels was great. It was a perfect size and the staff got to know me and were very friendly. I was surprised at how good the food was here. The breakfast was a large buffett which had some rotating egg dishes. The food you could order was good too, better than expected and the prices were reasonable. Definitely check out the happy hour when you go. I used the fitness center one day too and loved it. More than what I expected from a hotel this size. I would definitely consider a Hyatt Place next time I travel. The only thing I didn't like was the PPV movies in the room were terribly expensive. It was around $18.00 to rent a movie. Are you kidding me?
The room was very clean and spacious. I wish they had a soda machine instead of the snack bar at the front where soda was almost $3.00. I felt the breakfast was wonderful. A great place to stay for the weekend. I want to stay at other Hyatt hotels like this again.
Rooms were small but the beds comfortable! Food at restaurant was average. Check in was quick and easy! Attempted to order room service at 9am from our room- the hotel phone was not working so I called via my personal cell and spoke with AJ at the front desk. He said he would send someone to fix the phone but told me there was no room svc on Sundays- which is not true. He then proceeded to hang up on me. My friend and I had to physically go down to the front desk (were still in pj's, mind you) and spoke directly to the manager, who happened to be Aj who previously hung up on me! After he told us the restaurant is "right there" pointing to the restaurant, he finally gave me the phone to call room service. Unbelievable customer service. I've never been treated like that in my life. Especially at a "nice hotel." Aj must have had a change of heart and apologized for his actions 2 hrs later when we checked out and compensated our breakfast but I will never ever pay to stay at a Sheraton again. It was supposed to be a fun girls weekend and this is what we're talking about. I just hope other guests don't have to experience any of this.

I really liked the front desk staff. They were very understandable and eager to help with all of my needs. I disliked the fact that my card info was taken for incidentals and my card was charged 60% of the actual overall room payment. I have never noticed that before but it was definitely an extreme negative mark when I saw that on my acct info. Yes I was told it would take 3 to 4 days for it to be placed back onto my account but it was still a big shock.
The beds are amazing, and rooms are nice. Location isn't the best, unless you are looking to be close to the airport
Hotel was very close to the airport which made it easy to get to my flight. Hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Room had mini fridge, good size tv and nice bathroom. Room AC wasn't working. When I contacted the front desk they sent maintenance quickly. Tech said AC was working, but couldn't keep up with the heat from the day. Front desk staff said the room would cool off eventually, but the hotel was full and they could not move us to another room. When I went down to the front desk to ask for a manager, they said a supervisor wouldn't be available until Monday (two days later), and that they would not be able to offer any room discount. Surprisingly, they were able to find an empty room for us which did have a working air conditioner. Very disappointed with the lack of customer concern from the front desk staff. Pillows were too soft for my liking. Hotel has a restaurant but for the rate, does not offer a continental breakfast for the guests
Some staff was nice and pleasant. The restaurant food was average but not bad. Bed was comfortable and we used the small gym. Some machines were not working 100% but you could still use them. Also the pool was nice So the small detail was that there are many Four Points and we wanted the one by the stadium not the one by the airport. Huge difference. No one could help us with this and we wound up paying for two hotels for the weekend. It's pretty isolated so you need a car or taxi to get a good meal away from the airport. The hotel actually drove us to a local restaurant and said they could brng us back, but when we called they said they couldn't do it after all. If you want a place near the airport it's fine. A lot of pilots and stewards were staying there.

We enjoyed the king size bed that had a very comfortable mattress and bedding. Our TV had a variety of channels including HBO and Showtime. Also, the black out curtains were perfect for sleeping in. We received a questionnaire in advance of our stay that included room preferences. We requested a high level room with a king size bed. Upon arrival, we received a room on the first floor with two full size beds. We then asked the attendant if our initial request could be met and as it turns out there was a room available that met our needs. She did not express concern for the unmet request or issue an apology. Our room was only cleaned once during our three night stay. We had to requested additional towels because ours were not replenished daily. We were going to have breakfast in bed but the room service line was busy for an hour. We tried the front desk and restaurant as well. All lines were busy.
Close to airport They would not refund $99 for my husband and I since I canceled my two minutes after booking it. I thought I had booked for the wrong night. Then I realized it was the correct night and I booked again two minutes later. I called to see if they would refund the first booking since it was such a quick turnaround and I had mistakenly thought the wrong date then I booked again two minutes later once I realized it. My brain not working at full capacity due to helping my husband fight a very serious cancer which chemo is not working. The stay was for medical reasons to fly out to a dr to see if they had any trial or anything else we could try. We are a young couple with two young kids. When I called this online service and hotel they would not refund my $99 even though I booked, accidentally canceled, and then booked again within 5 minutes. They did not loss any money off this but still would not refund us even after I explained what happened and told them of all the medical expenses we have had. Comfort inn and company will never again receive any of my or my family's business.
Staff was very good! Breakfast lady was awesome! Phone didn't wirk in room. Mold in shower. Light burned out in bathroom. Alarm clock didn't work. Called for wake up at 0545. They called at 0615. Breakfast lady was on point. She was fabulous. Staff very friendly!
It was clean, the front desk was helpful and caring. They made it simple to check in and out. Recommended a few places to eat. The room was nice and quiet. It was a good place for the price we paid. Breakfast was kind of the norm. Nothing special. It was close to where we needed to be. If I had to complain it would be that I sounded like a herd of cattle walking down the hallway. But really otherwise I have no complaints

They let me check in early, when my paid airport shuttle didn't arrive, they took me to the airport before their normal shuttle hours. Overall awesome I was on foot and their wasn't too many food options nearby
Staff was personable and helpful, as we needed to catch shuttles for the airport. Room wasn't stocked with tissues, coffee, etc... Breakfast was okay.
The front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful for our one night stay before a flight. I was traveling with my son and they were very accommodating. Everything was clean and decent breakfast. The shuttle driver was pretty grumpy, but what do you expect at 5am

Price (but, you get what you pay for) The overall appearance of the property is very dirty, and very unkempt, and had a very bad smell! I was only able to stand being in the pool area for about 5min before I had to leave. Walking across the deck area, my foot almost went through a very rotted out section. My room smelled very strongly of bleach to the point it burned my eyes. As this was already my second room due to no working bathroom lights in the first one, I did not ask to change again. The sheets were stained, and the comforter was a bit worn. I noticed as I was leaving that there was spots of smeared blood on the door. Very disconcerting
Cost efficient, I mean overall it completely served the purpose Light bulb out in the room, closet door was broken, toilet was loose, seemed kind of outdated there's definitely a smell going on that isn't natural. The door to the outside does not lock at all
The hotel has serious potential to be beautiful if someone would take care of it. Hotels.com went above and beyond to make sure that our negative experience didn't ruin our road trip. The manager was beyond rude; he swore when speaking to me on the phone and pretended a manager was unavailable when he later told me he was standing there the whole time. All I wanted to do was make sure he wouldn't charge me for the nights that I wasn't staying. The hotel was dirty, visible crud and wrappers on the floors and walls of the hallways and our room, and the very strong smell of cigarette smoke and mildew. The carpet in our room was wavy from water damage and the beds were as hard as boards. There was no mini-fridge or microwave in the room. Two out of three elevators weren't working, the pool and hot tub were closed and so was the restaurant they were supposed to have. I just can't get over how rude the manager was or that he would lie to customers. Hotels.com did everything right though.
Location Hotel smell terrible, it could be health hazard. The room was in professional clean. First room I have the bed sheet had spots on, it was too nasty to sleep on. The receptionist was will to chant us new room. Second room the trash was not empty, smell of old wet paint was so strong, the tv was the old version unlike the picture they shown and the remote wasn't working. Even though we didn't pay much to stay but this is not even worth to stay. The breakfast was unsanitary, I was afraid to eat anything from there. Stay away if you don't want to get sick.
The room included a sleep number bed, which they didnt tell us. It wasn't actually working or plugged in, so we just thought the mattress was rock hard. When we asked for a different room, we were told they would fix the bed. After a day out, we came back to find the bed still unplugged and rock hard. The pool heater was broken and the hot tub had not been cleaned. Two people were actually smoking inside the hallway of the building. When we complained a second time that it was not fixed, we were yelled at by the building manager. We chose to go elsewhere for our third night. I've never had such poor customer service in my entire life. I would avoid this hotel even if the room were free.
The lobby was nice. It had a really cool courtyard with potential, but basically it was left to rot by the owners. The front desk guy had a lot of patience, but it appears he had a lot of practice. They had a hot tub that worked, and my kids swam in that because the pool was liquid ice (see below). My room was ckean and well organized. The swimming pool was cold, i know what the last feelings of the titanic victims were cold. The restaurant in the hotel was decent, but expensive for what it was. My food sat out under a heat lamp forever, and the shrimp put on it were possibly edible, but I didnt take the chance.
Absolutely nothing, and I will never trust Kayak ratings again Had to walk thru pool of water on wet carpet to get to swimming pool. Was never cleaned up while there. Toilet ran constantly Breakfast service was atrocious - one man (who wore the same clothes every day) cooked sausage one frying pan at a time. He couldn't even keep up with 8 people in the room, let alone a full crowd. No waffle iron, pancakes or many other things. This hotel is trying to skimp on every penny and could care less about service. Front desk too busy chatting on cell phone to be responsive to customers One small bar of soap in bathroom for 4 people - REALLY? Two towels for 4 people. etc.
Discusting place! Smells everywhere? Filthy dirty rooms. The rooms shown on websites are not this hotel. So bad we left.
They have the option for early check in. The staff was friendly. The room had water damage. The hot tub wasn't working. The TV channel selection sucked. The breakfast was mediocre. The whole place was kinda run down. Not worth the money we paid.
We got there at midnight. The staff doesn't care about you personally as a customer. The room we received was dirty and smelled of smoke. This was at Midnight!!!! We went back to the desk, got another room. It was ok. Except 30 minutes later another couple was trying to get into our room. That room was double booked. The girl at the front desk did not seem to care about anything. We could not get a receipt for the first of a two night stay. I cancelled the second night the next morning. I was not going to stay there. If we left our car, I would have to pay $5 to park my car. There is no valet service. It is a hotel parking lot. Would NEVER stay here again!

This place was awesome. Very very clean. Great staff - friendly, helpful, not too buttoned up. Beautiful decor - trendy and modern. Perfect for any type of stay. I was mixing business and pleasure and felt totally at home. On my next trip to KC I will definitely try to book here first. With all the positives, there was one negative that is totally out of the staff's hands. The walls are paper thin. The party next door at 4am... my wife and I became part of the party. We heard everything that was going on. For a business person during the middle of the week, probably no problem. But we stayed a Friday and Saturday and the weekend crowd probably made it worse.
Clean rooms, incredibly helpful staff, great proximity to downtown KC, the Plaza, and IKEA. This is likely our new go-to hotel in the area!
As a smoker, I really appreciated the smoking stations placed around the property outside. Very accomodating which you don't often find anymore. The outlet in my bathroom didn't work.
Room was decently clean, service was pretty good the one morning we ate breakfast there. Kids enjoyed the pool. Check-in was bad. Desk help wasn't all that talkative even when they had to tell us that our room wasn't ready yet and there were no double bed rooms ready at all. All this at 3pm, no less.
Friendly staff- accommodated an early check in. Happy hour with friendly bartender. Clean rooms. Underwhelming cramped bathrooms.
The room was above and beyond. Everything was very clean and I just really love the layout. It's more of a home than a hotel room. The breakfast food was cold and not well cooked but I managed to get enough to eat even though it wasn't that great. I've had wonderful breakfasts at Embassy Suites hotels before. I don't think this was normal.

The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was decent too. The pillows were awful. One is too lumpy and flat. Two together is still lumpy. On one folded over is uncomfortable. Not great pillows.

I needed an airport close enough to the airport to take a flight departing at 7am. This hotel was the perfect choice. All the staff I met was friendly, particularly, the front desk personnel and the lovely lady in charge of the free breakfast. Rooms have microwave and refrigerator. TV has lots of channels, if anytime need to stay in the room for many hours. Nothing that I can recall.

Nice modern decor. Keurig coffee in rooms. When we checked in, our room smelled like smoke. I went to the front desk to tell the person working there, and he sent up someone from housekeeping to spray something on the carpet. That obviously didn't work. Another employee put us in a new room.

Clean, great location for airport and really great staff. I stay at Courtyards all of the time...I liked this one. All of staff was very friendly. The shuttle driver was super curtious and helpful. Very quick drive to get to the airport. Food at the bistro was good. Nice pool/jacuzzi area. You're a snob if you expect more than what you get at this price.
I like the setup, the facility was nice. We met for a family mini-vacation and this was the halfway point. Great room setup for our needs. Hard to find. Our room wasn't serviced on the 2nd day of our stay.

Staff was great. Breakfast was really good. And it was reasonably priced. Walls were thin. We were in a room right next to the stair well, heard everyone when they came down the stairs.

Breakfast was ok. Lots of choices hot & cold. The guy worked hard to keep it stocked. Appreciated his effort. Hotel was worn out, needs updating. There were nail clippings on our floor, crumbs on the chair, clumps of hair on the floor. I would rather the cleaners vacuum the room than spend time folding the towels in a fancy manner. We were too tired to complain after a long drive, and we are not complainers anyway. I asked my wife what she thought about the hotel. She said one word, "Gross." I know it's a value priced hotel & not a top of the line property. The fact that it needs updating is implied in the price. But, "needs cleaning?" just not acceptable...We've stayed in 2 other Sleep Inns recently, value price, decent accommodations, breakfast included and they were clean. I have no problem with staying in a clean older hotel.
The room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. The room smelled a little weird, like stale food and cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room.
Indoor room entry Has like only 32 channels, found some1 else's hair in clean towels, towels has yellow and black stains and smells bad. The shower door doesn't close and is held together by to wires, so by the time I was done showering the floor was all wet
Nothing... Well maybe the fact that I wasn't driving. The smell of the room was horrible, the shower was moldy and the shower door was literally bailing wired together for the hinge. The beds were very worn out and the overall noise of the hotel was loud, Needless to say we tried to sleep for about 4 hours and then we got up and hit the road never looking back and definitely never staying there again!
This place was a great deal and super convenient to the Kansas City Airport! I didn't have a car so it was great to have an awesome shuttle service to the airport, restaurants within walking distance, and nice staff who were totally willing to help out in every way. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Definitely an awesome place to stay for a great price! Some of the facilities were pretty basic (shower was a little old and didn't work incredibly well initially, but once it got going it was fine). The breakfast (included) was also kind of basic.
The room was a remodeled room with updated paint, bathroom, bedding and furniture. The room was quiet, but did feel a bit cramped as we had two people staying in the smaller room for nearly 3 days. The desk and cleaning staff were friendly. The room was clean save for the carpet, read below. I liked the large walk in shower. I wouldn't take a bath in a hotel bathtub, but that seems to be a huge issue for some people that there was only a shower. We did not use the pool as it was winter. The room was comfortable temperature wise and the unit was not extremely loud or disruptive. The hotel has smoking rooms and allows pets. I didn't notice a smoke smell, as a person with Asthma I have a sensitive nose to smelling smoke. I did however have a room that had very dirty carpet, like it is not regularly vacuumed, and I'm assuming the odor was probably the carpet covered in pet messes. After some Lysol, we didn't notice it much after that.

I loved that you can bring your kids and be comfortable with them here. Noisy, from the hall ways to the pool to the bar , you can hear everything in your room .
Staff was wonderful. Great pool and hot tub for kids with relaxing area for adults. Close to park and breakfast buffet with kids eat free was worth it!
