TV kept loosing signal, staff question were not concrete and contradicted each other. The climate control wasn't working. Along with the facilities feeling humid n hot. Very uncomfortable especially with the weather of above 104.
Asian Art They put us in the middle of a high school cheerleading convention. Didnt sleep one night with teenage girls running wild throughout the hallways at all hours. Management did NOTHING to control them. Management offered no apologie or follow up. I will NEVER stay at a Hilton again!
The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was very friendly. It was very easy to check in and out. The parking was very easy, and I was able to park close to the entrance. The parking was very expensive. Normally I pay nothing to park at other hotels, but I have paid up to $15 for parking a day. ($3 Anatole was $22 a day and the parking lot was almost empty.
Everything was excellent.. Maintenance man knocked on our door at 9:30 to clean AC filter. We had Do Not Disturb sign on the door but he still knocked on the door. Kept knocking few times and woke me up.
SER steak house was great everything. no continental breakfast, nickel and dime you for everything. rooms were dirty, linens were dirty
Size of the room There was only one front desk representative at both front desks at 6:30 pm. I needed another key a was quite a wait. The parking is a total pain for $19, the gate readers do not work well. There was only one small trash can under the desk and none in the bathroom. And there was a creepy crawling visitor in the shower on the 20th floor.
Big facility with things to do. Basketball court was closed at 8pm. Rooms were dated
Check-in service, fairly affordable parking for the area, & the lobby was beautiful The hotel is an atrium hotel and is extremely large. During my stay there was a prom, a conference, and a wedding hosted by the hotel - it was extremely noisy and crowded. While its very large, its also quite an old hotel. There's one set of elevators for each atrium and the walk to and from the room is really long! Kayak listed it as 4 star and I've generally had a great experience with selected 4 star hotels throughout the country; this one was extremely disappointing.
I did not like the fact that the attendants behind the counters did not inform us about the breakfast at the lounge especially after we paid for the executive room which included the breakfast. We had to go to the other restaurant in the atrium to eat and pay... The attendants in the hotel are not good.
The only pluses: nice beds, great sheets and pillows, room was very clean. For this room costing me $400/night it was a fairly poor value. The bathroom was so small that I had to climb over the toilet to get in and out of the shower. No balcony, no sitting room, the plumbing gurgled and rattled every time anyone used it nearby, and I could hear everything going on in the adjacent room. The hotel is sooooo huge and no signs or directories. People were constantly lost and asking each other for directions everywhere I went (I don't get why they don't have signs in TX, not specific to the hotel alone, very few signs on the roads too). So basically the room was a confort inn with a hilton price tag. Nothing complimentary or included, not worth the money. Stay at the Sheraton across the street.
Customer service was bad. Also not enough staff.
Hotel is very nice. very disappointed at the fact that we had to pay for parking after spending good money to stay overnight. If already paying for a room, should not have to pay extra for parking.
The hotel staff was friendly also the rooms were very nice and roomy. Nothing
12pm checkout, free water, complimentary drink for my birthday, location, shuttle service, free breakfast for my birthday, good room setup, quiet, staff was super nice! Room smelled bad, sheets and bedding had plastic feeling and comforter was heavy, pillows were thin, tv channels were limited
The elevator appears to be going through an upgrade but the hotel needs a complete upgrade besides the The room , the room was really nice, clean and quiet. I felt the hotel was rather expensive though. Forgot my daughters phone in the room when we left and it was still there when we got back. Excellent staff, very friendly and honest. The walls walking to our door were scuffed badly really needs new wallpaper or a paint job.
Place was great. The "25 years experience bar tender" didn't know crap and would plea with every customer to only order beer or wine. Then had the nerve to question my tip because it was less than she thought she deserved.
Staff was very nice. Coffee in the morning and the cookies in the afternoon or a pleasant surprise. Rooms were clean and comfortable Not much
Complimentary breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres. Free bottled water. House keeping. Pay-to-use wifi. Fitness room was very, very cold. Bed was too firm for my liking.
Dirty room, cleaning staff did not come daily for no apparent reason, coffee filters/items not restocked when used in room. Noisy and poor view. Parking and wifi extra costs. Out of items when ordered room service.
Very close to downtown. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was not in the best of conditions. Could really use better upkeep.
Room was dirty, we got charged twice for room and had to go through a lot with the front desk for a refund, also didn't tell us about getting charged for parking and other "miscellaneous" charges. Would not stay there again.
The ice machine was broken on the third floor. And they charge for parking now
Great location for our purposes. The accommodations are what we have come to expect from Embassy Suites. Room was perfect for family of four and the breakfast was awesome. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Will stay there if we ever have to go to Scottish Rite Hospital again or need to stay near downtown Dallas. Too much chlorine in the pool and hot tub...
We do loved the happy hour!
Building was COLD. Impossible to sleep due to road noise. Upkeep was lacking and building is showing it's age
The free drinks from 530-730 were great. Fun atmosphere. Very good breakfast. Room service was outrageously over priced. $4 for a bottle of water?
The staff was great. Free breakfast. Nice location. Clean. It must be really nice hotel in 1990. Landry room. restaurant and bar is nice on the bottom floor. Nice design for this building. (open space in the middle) The room we stayed at which was 632 was falling apart. The shower was old and dirty even though they used white paint to cover it up. The mirror was not straight and was about to fall down. Phone was not working unless I fix the phone cable in the back. The outlet by the table was not screwed in, so the whole box came out before I unplug something in there. The TV stand shelf by the entrance door by the sofa was broken and not usable. I was staying there on April 27th and May 1st over the weekend. From Friday to Sunday there were many families, and a lot of children. There were many children without manners with uneducated adults to make breakfast unpleasant experience for that time being. I was not complaining because it was free but there were many children with PJ on eating and making mess at the free breakfast. :( It was pretty expensive for what it is worth, and I was disappointed.
The staff was very friendly and my room was clean and quiet. I was charged twice due to the computer system not recognizing my original booking.
Good breakfast and evening manager reception. A party going on at night till 1230 am
The location had to be the best part of it . Stayed at other locations and really liked it. This one has changed my mind on trying another location besides the one I know of . The room climate control was horrible either room was too hot or too cold. In our last night there was a wedding , loud music right above it couldn't get sleep till after midnight . The guest of it were also so rude like we didn't belong at the hotel . The pool area dirty along with the water. Parking lot trashy . Below standards of other locations as stated earlier.
That we had a suite. The space and lay out of the room was perfect. Breakfast was good. Dirty. Saturday morning breakfast area was very dirty. The other mornings were fine, but that morning dishes ran out, there was syrup on the floor, dirty and empty food containers. All the tables were dirty. There was one poor girl staffing the whole area of about 100 guests. Poor management that morning. rooms smelled like mildew.
Loved this hotel all around, great location, traveling with a uhaul & had plenty of safe parking
It was close to the venue of the event we were there for. The room was paid for through kayak however the hotel charged me again at their regular rate.
Size of the suite, hot chocolate bar, fresh infused water :) Had an issue w reservation and payment, inconvenience of waiting on ice, parking
The room was nice looking from walking in the door. Expect more from Marriott but this room and service was not the what you expect. Where do I start?? I should had known this would not be a good stay by the service when I checked in. The gentleman in front of me was being taking care of wonderfully. The lady taken of me was not giving best service. She did not welcome me to the Hotel, ask may I help you, asked for my ID and credit card. Handed me the room key and said park on either side of Hotel. While I was waiting, I was listening to the other lady checking in the gentleman beside me.....WOW... customer service was great....she was very detailed from parking to where elevators are about his room. The room.....appeared to be nice....however closer look.... The bathroom only had one light working, taking a shower in dim light. Web site said Bath Robes....NO bath robes!!!! My daughter noticed the desk chair....was RIPPED badly!!! Three inches across the front seat....OMG....showing the cushion...nasty!! Desk lamp didn't work. Then when we went to bed.....another shocker....the pillows....SMELLED SO NASTY!!! I called the desk....and was asked to be put on hold.....AFTER 5 minutes....I put the phone down and told my daughter let me know when some one answers.....I headed down stairs to the desk and saw the desk person standing there talking to a Security Person. I asked for a Manager, he said he was. I explained I had been put on hold and been waiting. Then about the pillows and asked if we could have more...he said "No", that they was over booked and didn't have any more. I asked him so I need to sleep without pillows? Manager sent the Security person to check the pillows.....needless to say after the Security Person called from the room and reported the smell was nasty on the on the pillows and the desk chair was terrible and as my daughter was telling about finding holes in the sheets...found painted finger nails on the floor!! The Manager was knocking on the door and said lets get you ladies out of this room and to a new room. When we got to the next room....few pillows was still nasty smell....seems maybe its from soured linens, ended up wrapping them in towels! Manager also said he will find some bath robes due to second room had no bath robes!!! As we got settle in....noticed on the floor hair pins....REALLY....are these rooms cleaned after guests???? After all said and done...we did get $ 22 off the room rate....lolololol... Oh.....being put on hold time....desk person AKA Manager...answered as I walked back in door with Security person....Do math of time that was....ride down elevator, explain about pillows, going back up to room (9th floor).
I left my business bag with laptop and important documents in the lobby. The front desk found it. It did not disappear. Staff was helpful. Breakfast great!
Clean, safe, quiet, friendly staff, well maintained, contemporary No pool. Breakfast was not free (but delicious).
Nothing I didn't like the bed my neck and back still hurt the pool was so small the only thing that was complimentary was coffe and water and nether was any good the creamer that was in my room was soured so there wasn't anything that was any good I've had a better room at a much cheaper hotel
Hotel was great. I was there for a convention at the Hilton Anatole, across the street. The group rate for our rooms at the Hilton was $***night. THe Courtyard was literally across the street at $**night, including a hot buffet breakfast each morning. Since it is my own bottom-line, the group is there twice a year and I'llb e at the Courtyard each time. Rooms were great, free basic internet wireless but you could upgrade to high speed wireless for $6/day. Would recommend it.
We stayed here during the TX/OU game this past October. It was a great hotel. Our room was clean and the hotel was quiet even though we were near the parking lot. The room was on the small side but just fine for two people. If you plan on cramming a ton of friends in there you'll need a bigger room. The only reason I did not give this place a 5 is because of the parking. The parking lot was PACKED due to the amount of people staying there for the game and the size of the spots could not accommodate all the vehicles. The spots for were made for tiny compact cars and the majority of the hotel patrons drove SUVS and trucks. All of them took up more than one spot and caused us to get blocked in. If the hotel would repaint the parking spots it would solve that issue.
I stayed here one night of a Dallas mini-vacation, got a bargain rate. Location is great, breafast at $9.95 isn't out of line with comparable places. Only complaint - laundry carts blockng the hall
Hotel was very nice & clean, but I was extremely disappointed with the both rooms Air Conditioning. They let us move into another room and its A/C was no better and it was only May. The resturant prices were high, the menu for room service was reasonable priced, and they add 17% for room service. But... if you eat in the dinning room, the exact menu is about $3.00 higher for the same exact menu item. It would have been cheaper to have room service.Beds were soft and this could be a very nice hotel if they would fix the A/C system in each room.
Good value for the money. There sure are a lot of hotels is the same area.
This was a clean and spacious room. Very clean and spacious Restrooms. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The facilities throughout the hotel were clean and fresh. We were there for a Dr. visit at Scottish Rite Hospital with our Daughter and this hotel gave us a significant discount. We recommend this hotel and will definenitly stay there next year when we go back for the yearly appointment.
Price was to high for quality and size of room. Overall to expensive and will not return in the future. Thank you
Attended 2007 Dallas International Guitar Festival. -1/2 mile walk from the Market Center venue.-This hotel was clean. -The free in room wireless internet connection.-The staff was polite and helpful when needed. -Did not try hotel restaurant, opted for the Dennys next door.-This hotel was nice, quiet and felt ''safe'', but watch out for the con-man though. He uses the busted fan belt scam.
Good hotel for the money - Just wish breakfast included although easy to get something at hotel or Dennys nearby - Friendly staff / Room was comfortable with free internet - Close to downtown, but still need a car with a GPS!
Check in was fast. Location was perfect. Room was very comfortable, clean, quiet, and I had hot water. NO BUGS at this hotel.
I will definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. Great location.

The staff were ALL very nice!!! They made coffee and cocoa for my family and kids because one night was cold and snowy. Our light in our bathroom was really dim/not working properly. But absolutely everything else was perfect. I would stay here again and I would recommend it!
the room was very nice and the employees were extremely friendly! not enough parking...didn't like having to park in the back and on the sides. Valet would've been a nice feature.
Great salad and staff at the restaurant. They served us outside by the pool. I called to reduce my stay by one night - from four to three - and they would no longer honor the group rate under which I made my original reservation. Instead, they insisted on charging me what averaged out to about $120/night more. While I still attended the conference, I changed my reservation to the Sheraton Suites across the street. I would recommend the Sheraton Suites if you are in the area. For the conference, there was an on-going problem with the audio being used - feedback, static through the mics.
Someone ding my car! Nothing can be done. Just body shop!
The front staff member who helped us check in was extremely nice and helpful! Definitely put us in a good mood. He explained they also have a free shuttle that takes you to downtown and uptown which is great since we planned to go out at night and now didn't have to use a taxi or uber. Close to a lot of things and the shuttle makes a huge difference on saving money. Breakfast was decent but I don't think it's worth paying for (we got comp' tickets) but the servers were friendly and nice, just not a lot of options. Place was clean and beds were comfortable. Only complaint I have is that they falsely charged me $92. After calling them, they immediately checked and said they would refund their error but definitely something to keep track of if you stay here as I read in another review that they had the same problem.
Good location, quick access to downtown, good free breakfast Was not what I've come to expect from Fairfield. Room was clean but poor quality - old TVs, poor quality bedding, cheap decor. If you're looking for a reasonably priced room for the night this is a good place to sleep this is it but don't come expecting anymore than that.
Breakfast didn't run later on a holiday weekend
We were very pleased with the help from the front desk staff. We were in Dallas without a car, and they helped us find our way on foot, via public transportation, and by taxi.
I liked the space, confort, and price. The administration and cleaning staff were incredibly friendly. I had a good time during my time there. Nothing to say here.

I didn't like anything. It sits between twork liquor stores and there were loitering people everywhere. I felt completely unsafe.
Not too far from everything you would want to be at. Parking was available if you get there early enough. Other tenants were quite noisey in the hallway.
The parking is free. This hotel had giant roaches that laid eggs in left fecal matter in our washcloths.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient.
Location was great for where I needed to be. The parking was terrible. For the size of the hotel it has very little for parking.
It was clean and the desk clerk was friendly.. It was hard getting in and out of the entrance because of how the main road is set up.. Housekeeping knocked on my door and tried to enter my hotel room at 9:30 in the morning while I was on the bathroom check out is at 12 was not happy I felt violated..
free good breakfast, comfortable beds, very clean. The staff was not especially friendly.

clean well appointed rooms returned from watching a movie around 11pm, no parking spaces available. cant provide good service if customers cant get to you.
staff was excellent. As a extended stay,no coffee pot,no kitchen supplies. The outside is well maintained but the inside looks like a dull institution, everything very dull and dingy. No 'life' in the property. Breakfast was NOT available, as advertised, except coffee.
Spacious room, clean, very good for price, front desk staff asked if we had any room preference and we were able to get top floor/opposite from the nearby loud interstate. Front desk staff was not always extremely attentive/polite initially, but no issues. Just went out of my way to be polite to them, then was treated well. Also some of the appliances/faucets in the room were outdated.

Ease of location - perfect for a one night stay The 'non-smoking' room reeked of cigarettes despite my best efforts to rid the smell.

Everything u need at its facility
Need something to drink manager left on her break and brought one back! Very nice always
Quality 1st floor room Desk Clerk was kind of hard, and unfriendly. Being that it was New Years and holiday time, I was anticipating a happier friendlier attitude.
The staff and room was very pleasant and nice. No
Professionalism of the staff. I had an situation that was my fault and they were very understanding and accommodating. The fitness equipment operated well. Overall the hotel a little old, but clean. I now plan to stay there when I travel for work. Two of the three vending machines were out of order. There was no TV in the fitness room. The grounds needed some attention; there was no trash, just the leaves.
NOTHING!!!!! There was blood stains on our comforter! We took it up to the front and were told there weren't anymore. They gave us an extra blanket. The sheets has stains on them also. The place was extremely dirty and dusty. The free breakfast was awful.
Extremely courteous guest satisfaction first Couple of maintenance issues Housekeeping needs to stock better
