Representativt. Underbar frukost i vilsam miljö. Nej.
Great location, great hotel, great staff! They upgraded us to an awesome room with a spectacular view for free the attendant was very nice and helpful.
Hotel was under construction (and for quite some time apparently) so I'll spare you with the details of what that means when you are trying to catch up on some much needed sleep. Staff responded poorly to this situation that was not communicated ahead. Very dissapointing. One last thing, te hotel seems to be weel located because few hundred meters from champs Elysee but it is quite a dead area at night.
Location was approperiate for my business meetings around the city. Poor value for money. Absolutely not a 4 star Paris standards. Extremely small room. Unheated bathroom. Aminities were not regularly refreshed. Decor of reception and public areas is basic and rundown.
Friendly and helpful staff and nice room WIFI at our room was a bit weak. Main elevator was not working and everyone had to use staff elevator instead, which is a bit small.
I booked this hotel because it was listed on the leading small hotels of the world. This recommendation has not failed me. I have traveled to paris and the rest of europe to know that the standards are different than four plus hotels in the usa. The hotel vernet did have good sized rooms and our room had a balcony which is great. The bedding was excellent. The staff was excellent, including front desk personel, the concierge was fabulous, as well as the bellman, bartenders, and wait staff in the dining room. All the employees addressed me by name after the first day. That shows how much they put themselves out. Lights in the bathroom were not adequate for shaving or applying makeup. Pillows were foam which we don't like. Should be feather pillows.
the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated, the employees were very nice and proffisional, and the location was just excellent as Vernet St. was located by champs elysee and george VI road. Hotel Lobby was small and the internet connection was very low.
The friendliness of the staff, the service and the centrality of the hotel. Thank you. It was a pity that the restaurant was closed.
location poor advice from concierge
The location is excellent as it is behind Champs Elysees but yet very quiet. The staff, especially the concierge is very helpful and they all speak excellent English. The walls between the rooms are a little thin. I could hear footsteps and voices from the other room when it was occupied.
from the moment we set foot in hotel there was nothing that the staff couldn't do for us..very helpful and courteous.really made my stay in Paris something to remember for a while..loved the personalized welcome letter .
Small, quaint, quiet. The rooms need updating.
The staff was so friendly & the hotel location was ideal we had so much fun there I'm going to stay there next visit to paris
I find that the mark of an excellent hotel is when you look back at your trip and the hotel was a main character. The Peninsula Paris exceeded my expectations. L'Oiseau Blanc is a must-see (they have a plane over-looking the Seine and the Eiffel Tower). The "Dancing Leaves" art installation in the lobby is absolutely stunning. They have a neat app for kids with fun games. Most importantly, the staff is a class act. One of the only drawbacks was the lockerroom for the gym/spa. Each of the four showers did not have body wash nor soap (they had three bottles in each stall. One wss labeled "conditioner", the other was labelled "shampoo" and the third bottle was labeled "shampoo" and/or "hand lotion"). Also the hand-held shower in one of the stalls was broken. It was disappointing. The other drawback is that the check-in is actually not at the main entrance on Avenue Kleber. After our driver unloaded our baggage a valet attendant walked out from the long sidewalk from the hotel and said to put our bags back in the car and drive around the corner, to the less-prominent side entrance on Avenue Portugais, for check-in. We decided to walk with our suitcases around the corner and commented amongst ourselves that the Peninsula could have handled it differently (i.e. since the attendant was not at his post nor was there a sign he could have offered to have someone gather our suitcases; it was awkward).
The hotel was beautiful, spa terrific, and the indoor/outdoor aspect of the Lobby restaurant was lovely for enjoying a spate of mild fall weather. Service is top-notch. The rooms are functionally terrific - huge for Paris standards. Bathrooms are drool-worthy marble palaces. Concierge staff knowledgeable and super helpful. Unless you are strolling the Champs for luxury boutiques one can find in any large city or having business meetings in the western arrondissements, the location isn't great. This can be easily overcome with Uber or taxis, but I would have preferred a more central location like Ritz/Crillon (both closed for renovation), or Le Meurice (I'm supporting the boycott). The design of the bedrooms errs more on the Asian side of Asia-French fusion, while I would have preferred something more distinctively Parisian, but this is a very minor gripe. If I were traveling for business, the serenity/calmness would normally be a plus.
perfect location, perfect service, perfect ambiente, 100 % clean unfortunatelly there are two construction sites to the left and to the right of the building - the works start at 6am, from 9am they start drilling, all the guests complain, we stayed for 3 nights and got one for free, the buildings will not be finished before 2012
It is a very fine hotel, but ........ It was an unpleasant stay with loud construction adjacent to room 312 from 0630 am for about 11 hours/day. It was impossible to rest during the day. Euro 445 was an outrageous rate to charge for this room
Quiet rooms, well equiped room & bathroom. Good service from Front desk, Concierge and Bell-staff. They need to improve their elevator system.
The room and bath were really big for Paris) Staff always ready to help They did not change towels everyday, expensive breakfast
The hotel's location is good, but the friendliness of the staff is what makes it a great hotel. I especially loved the nougats at the reception ;-)!! The wide choice at breakfast was very good too. Nothing much, except 1 day, housekeeping forgot to clean our room!!
The staff on the front desk and the front of house people were very efficient The cleaning of the rooms
Location, cleanliness, attentive and knowledgeable concierge. Good breakfasts. None
Excellent hotel and nice design. Staff is very friendly and professional. Mine issure: The only issue was with elevators. One was down. I stayed there for 3 nights, left without it being fixed. Again, it is a minor thing.
location, good room size it was not 5 stars hotel , you have to ask for things that expected to be in the room, elevator was broken for 4 days out of 8 of my stay, no explanations or apologies
Really a lovely stay! Hotel staff were very friendly and hotel facilities were really very good Just a couple of matters:
The greatest hotel breakfast buffet in existence. Eclectic retro design by Philippe Starck. Giant bathrooms. Cool tv in mirror with ability to aitply your device. Stunning linen sheets. Delicious Cafe Lait in tall insulated glasses. Lovely staff. The indoor pool is gorgeous with water bike and supplied goggles and flippers. The wifi was very slow and would sometimes not work at all. Our last day they reset it on our floor and it worked better but only slightly. Room service and restaurant were so expensive (breakfast was included but is 68 euro if not) that it was ridiculous. 33 euro for a caeser salad for example. 18 euro for French fries. It is two blocks from Etoile 1 metro but the area was very quiet with few stores unless you went over to the Champs. You need to travel a ways to get to less name brand shopping or boutiques. But all easy by a metro or usually two. Can't do much about that but thought I should mention. But none of these things would stop me from returning. It was a terrific hotel.
The SPA center.
It was great, we're going back! Problems with the enter cards of our room
Superb location, especially for those who like shopping very expensive prices for mini bar, room service and restaurants
location good and accessible, rooms are very small and felt uncomfortable, due to this reason we changed to another hotel,
Very central location, staff very friendly and helpful, fantastic selection for breakfast would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. No restaurant or bar but there was room service
good services, modern room, good location room is too small for the price charged
Location, clean rooms, free, wireless internet and the friendly staff. Very small rooms, small Lift, and bad coffee glasses( the glass snaps off the metal holder when hot, as it expands faster than the holder, and you will have coffee spilled all over the place, including your clothes). The lobby is small for a ***** hotel.
Everything was horrible and very expencive
Location The smallest room I ever had for 240 euros. I could touch the 4 walls from the bed. Poor views to an inside patio that was still under construction. And the hotel seemed to be empty.
The location and the service by all staff.
Quiet street just next to the crowded street of the Champs Elysees. The room was great and the Internet for included in the rate.
Excellent location, very stylish hotel, hospitable friendly staff, excellent rate, great experience, would go there again
All staff at hotel were very attentive, Hotel recently reopened after refurbishing, rooms large, clean and well equipped, pool was wonderful after being out the whole day walking. Hotel was well positioned for sightseeing.
Perfect, clean and big room (Large Deluxe Room). The hotel is only 2 y.o. Perfect location!!! Breakfast doesn't included. The pool is closed 12-16 August.
Breakfast can be improved. Coffee is good though.
the staff were nice but the cleaning staff didnt speak english nor did her job the way it should be done most of the dirts were pushed under beds and chairs, the chairs need to be changed as they are worn off.
the size of the room was so small, the bathroom wasn't comfort enough.
The location was exelent..the staff was amazing... the louby design was nice... The room was too small.. the bathroom should be upgrade (the sikn was too small) the bath was without curtains.. the water prasure was not good..
only the location the hotel staff were so rude. The type of room I reserved enough for 3 people according to their website. But, when I arrived there, the hotel staff denied that!!!! I asked them for a taxi at 5 p.m. but the taxi was there earlier and they made me pay more because the taxi waited!!!!
excellent location room was very small
The location and the service
The restaurant was closed for the month of August - I was not told and also there were alterations taking place in the bar / lounge area with screens up and flooring not in place. This did not encourage a late evening drink at the bar. the problem was timing - August in paris is vewry much 'down time'.
It is in a fantastic location. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly and spoke perfect English.
it is located in a quiet street but also near the champ elysees and the arc di triomphe. the hotel is ideal for shopping and also sightseeing in paris.
Good view if you got a room with a balcony
The hotel lies in a very good position. The rooms are quiet and spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. for that price I would have appreciated something more, like a welcome drink or a basket of fruit at our arrival. My idea of a relais chateau is that you pay a little more but you get a little more, like we had to leave very early in the morning and it was not possible to have a cup of coffee!
The location The food was not up to standard
I liked the location and the room i thought the staff were quite unfriendly
Location, smallness, Asked 4 ice two nights in a row with no results. Airconditiong virtually non-existant(of course it is europe).REALLY Suprised this is a chateau relais property.
Staff is very friendly and helpfull.Lokatoin is great.Good restorant. We liked every thing! Will return back for sure!
Everything was perfect other than a small room which I think applied to most parisien hotels I thank all of the staff for the good attentive service The room was little bit warm I think the ac was not working but that was fine
Location, secure car parking, friendliness of staff. Price of breakfast
We know the hotel well - have stayed there many times, and it maintains its standard and is as good as ever.
location is perfect, center of the city but quiet surrounding, rooms are beautiful and clean, staff is helpful, no regrets
The staff were very friendly. Excellent location
Perfect location very close to the Arc de Ttiumphe Duvets instead of sheets would be nice in the bedrooms
The location, helpfulness of the staff in the hotel and restaurant was excellent, the restaurant food was very good
I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, the staff first rate. However, we were celebrating my 60th with friends from England who were staying at the hotel due to our recommendation and the only issue was the fact that we paid approx Eoro 230 to 250 per night and our friends paid Euro 180 or 190 per night for the same room. Whilst I did not say anything at the time, It left a sour tast in my mouth and I was disappointed as I felt cheated. No complaints other than as noted above.
the helpfullness of the staff was excellent
My room which was very well appointed and comfortable, had a wonderful view of the Arc du Triomphe. I shall certainly return there again. I have stayed there before despite its rather high price (€325) and have always felt welcome. The Pre du Carré (its restaurant) was not quite as impressive as last time but this was probably my fault as I may have chosen unwisely and there is no question as to the excellence and subtlety of the cuisine. As far as I am concerned I would recommend the hotel with some enthusiasm.
Excellent location in Paris and very friendly and helpful staff. Should consider making breakfast part of room
The courtesy and friendly professionalism of the staff was superb, No request was left unattended to. A true 4 star hotel in every respect - standard, quality of service, proximity to transport and general ambiance. NO
The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. They all spoke English which is a big help when in France. The location was excellent, right at the Arch de Triumph.
