Location to Toledo centre, train & coach links.
comfortable room, pleasant staff was ready to help you in any cases breakfast was the poorest I've ever seen at a 3-star hotels
helpful staff, good location the decor (everything was very dark) the smell of cigarette smoke
The hotel was fairly close to the city. very good value for money. we easily found parking on the street (3 euros for 18 hours). Very good experience overall Breakfast was simple but then again it was included in the price of the room.
Excelent location just beside the old city walls, very nice and helpful desk staff, the hotel clean, cozy, nice atmosphere. Very good and cheap dinners.
Simple clean hotel close to town centre The usual poor spanish breakfast. Not that easy to find by car.
Great location; friendly staff and free parking on weekend. TV set in the room was too small. Cafeteria was usually occupied by smokers. Mediocre breakfast.
Nice staff, good location and very clean
the closeness to the centre of Toledo, all toiletries were provided, clean & comfortable, friendly staff finding it
Convience and location was good. The resturant noise was horrible. The noise lasted to midnight and we had a baby that needed sleep
This is a chic, modern hotel in a beautiful old building. It is right in the heart of the city, walking distance to all of the sights. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and gave great recommendations for nearby tapas bars, restaurants, etc. There was a point when the hot water seemed to decrease. It didn't cause us too much trouble though, since it was so hot during our stay. The cool shower was refreshing. We loved this place, and will stay again.
Perfect location, you can walk to all the sites. Shopping locations and restaurants are all around. Staff was nice, room was big with two bathrooms. Beds were small and uncomfortable. Free parking is non existent. If you have a small car the hotel has parking for a fee, but for a mid size and up plan on paying around 17+ euro per night to park elsewhere.
Great hotel, friendly staff and in the center of the city.
The staff there were extremely helpful and nice. They really put forth great effort to help me out. The water in the tub and sinks didn't come out if someone else was taking a shower and for a day and a half the water was brown.
the hotel is right at the historical center
Good location. Room and bathroom very small.
Ideally located to visit the city of Toledo. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The garage is basically unaccessible except for the smallest cars. That's not really the hotel's fault but one should be warned.
Friendly staff, clean room. Close to the historic center.
While the hotel it's self was ok, because of it's location on the main road, the room was very. very noisy. Only the noise.
The room was very hot. I would leave the window open to cool it but would find it closed when I would return. I did not complain to hotel.
Hotel Carlos V is well situated for visiting most of the town, cathedral etc.It was an easy stroll to the Zocodover Plaza.Very attractive entrance area with comfortable settees! There was quite a lot of hammering and work noises but I expect that was only a temporary problem!
very noisey all night long, both nights,
clean hotel and non intrusive staff: clean rooms, the elevator worked
The location was terrific. I thought it was a little overpriced
absence of internet connections
the location. we did not get the type of room we booked (got 3 single beds instead of a double) and were told that was the only room left for the night. the room was smelly "musty". the door did not shut in the bathroom. little to no natural light in the room. room was located on the ground floor in the very back need all the service & office area's. overall very, very disappointing and as it was a not refundable offer there was nothing we could do like change or cancel our booking.
The Carlos was smack in the middle of almost everything we knew we wanted to see, and extremely close to a bar, Ludena, which is elsewhere named as having the best tapas in Toledo, and based on our limited experience (two days) I'd have to agree. There was one waiter at dinner who was downright rude - I've only travelled to a handful of countries spanning the globe and this man was rudest of all foreign waiters I've met. He was evenly offset by an extremely nice older gentleman at the front desk, though, and generally nice staff everywhere: hence my "good" score. Please remember to tip the maid a little extra for us: she was quite good but we forgot to tip her and are very sorry for that.
location was great. the staff was rather rude.
The hotel Abad has a very pleasing ultra modern design and is very easily accessible with free parking within a few metres - we will definitely return
quiet, nice interior, nice design rooms small rooms, dark because of small window
Location, fit for purpose, helpful friendly staff Nothing negative but breakfast bit basic
Very helpful staff, nice decor and good location. The room could have had some better lighting
Stylish small boutique hotel in brilliant location with secure parking close by. Charming characterful room. Adequate breakfast. Excellent value for money. If you like coffee then avoid it at breakfast!
The beautiful romantic settings
Very sweet woman at the front when we arrived, spoke english, but also responded in Spanish when I spoke to her. Location was great. Double paned windows kept out the noise. View was very nice. Room was nice sized and very clean. Wifi worked great. Breakfast was spendy and the coffee there was bad. But there were several places within walking where you can get breakfast for under 3 Euros each. For that reason, I don't understand why it was so expensive to get the breakfast at the hotel. It was 8 Euros a person and it wasn't super fancy.
The hotel is a nice base for a citytrip in Toledo. It has an original and intimate atmosphere. The third bed (for a party of three) was very basic and saggy.
parking garage was close by located at the top of a major hill so walking could be a problem for some
Loved the old-world style and was particularly impressed with the dining area/restaurant in the cellar which had the feel of a mediaeval dungeon.
we really enjoyed our stay at the hotle, the reception staff were very friendly and accomodating. Our room over looked the city and having a balcony was an added bonus. Location was excellent. We would definatly recommend this hotel.
We had a corner room on the 2nd floor that gave us a great view of the plaza and a nearby street from our balconies. We especially enjoyed watching the people on the plaza going about their daily lives as well as the two demonstrations that took place during our stay. The hotel was conveniently located so we could walk to all of the attractions that interested us. The staff was friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions even though we speak no Spanish and they sometimes had to struggle to understand us. WiFi was a bit weak in the room. It was faster in the lobby.
Location & kind staff the room was not equipped with a minibar
The location was perfect in the downtown area The room was beautiful and spacious and very clean. Parking next-door was very easy, and was discounted from €20 to €14 for hotel guests. The front desk staff was very helpful in planning our tour through the city, as well as with any questions about our stay. The room was air-conditioned, although it was a struggle to keep the room cool. The temperature outside during our stay was 108°F,
Interesting hotel in a good area Smoking allowed in the adjoining bar
very good location
Our room had a balcony and chairs with a view of the rooftops - great for a glass of wine. Beds were comfy and breakfast was plentiful. Room architecture felt medieval with the heavy wood doors and red accents, definitely fit Toledo! I would recommend this hotel. Nothing.
Location of hotel next to the Alcazar was fantastic. View from balcony was superb. Hotel was, in my opinion, not of a four star standard. Hotel was adequate in all respects but room was "tired" and needed brought up to modern standards.
Great location and friendly staff. No WiFi internet and internet access not free. ALso beds are always twin rather than double in Spain !
Stort och bra rum. Badrummet var däremot litet. Mycket centralt läge, men lite svårt att hitta till adressen. Sängarna var en aning hårda.
Hotellet låg bra till, nära både busstationen och de historiska delarna av staden. Stora rena rum.
Clean, central. Rooms good size Hotel a bit old.Not easy to find, with gps it took us hours to find.No English speaking. Better to book a hotel not in the core of town as its all alleys & narrow roads especially if you travel with a car. Toledo is lovely plenty to see.
Helpful staff. Comfortable room. Central position. Hook to hang the shower not available
Great location and extremely well priced N/A
Don't try to reach the hôtel by car. Suggestion: Go directly to Vinci parking nearby. Park the car and roll your suitcases to the hôtel
sentral location, staff is always on duty, elevator,AC slight odor in the room, not very nice illumination
Rooms were clean. Location good. Incredibly loud disco across the street that closed at 6am. Air Conditioning did not work and I was told it comes on when it gets "hot" outside. It was 95 F so I am unsure what "hot" means to Hotel Imperio but AC was advertised and not available.
Service Not really
Hotel was near to main sightseeing attractions. no car accessible to the hotel where we had lots of baggages from our long cruise/car tour trip.Road to this hotel was barred.
nice staff sensitive to the need of the customers.
Friendly, helpful staff and excellent location to all najor attractions, Bathroom had been updated and the central ac was fantastic as the temperature was 43 degrees c.
The reception staff were a little abrupt, however, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Las Conchas. It is convenient to everything. no
Hotel is OK, rooms are small but people is very nice
The position of the hotel, central for visiting the sites It was a little noisy internally , the walls must be quite thin and our room was positioned between two bathrooms and we could hear the people in the adjacent rooms showering ect., However the position negated these problems
The helpful staff Noise
The location was great, right in the heart of the city. Close to shopping and all attractions
The staff was incredibly friendly and the breakfast was more than adequate for the price. The walls were so thin. We could hear our neighbor's conversations through the wall and someone getting sick at about 5am. Bring earplugs to get sleep.
staff was accommodating and provided other information regarding the city
Welcoming and very centrally located.
Good location - spacious rooms
The location was perfect. It was right off the main square, but not noisy. The location was great. It was right off the main square.
The location is amazing, right near Puerta del Sol and there is a great little cafe nearby with porras and hot chocolate.
Very friendly staff and good localization. Rooms were clean and the space was ok.
Very good location, nice staff, good rooms, close to everything you need to see in toledo! i would stay there again!
we liked the location, very friendly staff, contemporary interior design, cleanliness, ability to park our car in the garage nothing
All four of us agreed on the fact that on our journey Hostal Sol was the best offer from value/price point of view. The surroundings have a romantic component with the castle right above it. Everything we were interested in was close. Next time we would choose Hostal Sol again. And by the way: we went to Toledo by accident, but now I say that this city is a must see. During our journey we were used to have free wi-fi. The hostel does not have, but you can go online in a place really close as the receptionist guided us there.
Wonderful location, an attractive historic hotel and spectacular views of Toledo. Friendly service and a delicious breakfast. The bed was rather hard so not as comfortable as I'd have liked.
Very Spanish and in the heart of Toldo If is definitely important to instruct residents to park their car at the local parking facility and to walk the last 300 metres rather than attempt to drive through the narrow cobbled streets!
The hotel is very tastefully decorated in a modern style, preserving some elements of the old building and integrating them into a very chic architectural ensemble. There are only 3 guest rooms. Our room was large and comfortable. It is a very quiet side of Ronda but no more than a 3 minute walk to the center (it's a small city). We ate dinner also at the hotel (small restaurant... four tables!). The food was electic and absolutely delicious. The hotel is more expensive than many others in the area, but we certainly felt that it was well worth it. We had allowed only one night for Ronda as its small, but the hotel and town were a marvelous surprise; we wish we would have spent more time.
The room and breakfast was good. Especially hot drink service was good and only this hotel served this through our Spain travel this time.
A pleasant surprise: old stylish lobby and room, combined with a silent environment and... free WiFi
Decoration and staff was excellent Breakfast was a bit poor
The upstairs balcony overlooking the city was amazing. Staff were very nice. Breakfast in the basement tunnel was interesting and enjoyable. Good location and available parking near hotel. Great location. No free parking.
Delightful, small, quirky hotel with stunning city view from our room and interesting, attractive furnishings. Being a small establishment there are few facilities (no phone in the room, no 24 hour desk). And there is no vehicular access. But all this is part of the charm! A luggage stand would be useful in the room.
The Almunia is a quiet, comfortable and charming inn located on a narrow, pedestrian street in the heart of the historic center of Toledo, just a short walk from the Plaza Zocodover, the Alcazar and the Coralillo de San Miguel public parking garage. The hotel has the rich character and beauty of the medieval manor house that it once was. The owner, manager and staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rates, which include a generous continental breakfast, are extremely reasonable. Also, the view from the hotel's rooftop terrace is spectacular. My wife and I would definitely stay here again. Our guest room with a double bed was somewhat smaller than what I had hoped it would be (but still reasonably sized, given the hotel's excellent room rates).
We had an excellent experience. The owner was extremely kind and helpful. The temperature was 43 degrees C and we really appreciated the inroom airconditioner.
