As always the Weather during Spring Break is wonderful. The general layout of the resort is wonderful. This is my 3rd trip here since 2009 and we want to make it a annual thing for myself and my kids, This trip we experienced a lot of horrible service, missed room services, not being attended to while at one of their restaurants. the exception was the last night we were there. I spent $5000 over a course of 6 nights we stayed..I would expect way better service when ones pays this much. Im considering not coming back due to the service not matching the price I paid. I also feel the resort could use a bit of updating and repair. Eep in the room when we had burnout light bulbs and once again they were never replaced on our stay.
This isn't a very romantic resort. Too many places for families and not enough places for romance DO NOT LIKE THE EXTRA CHARGE AT THE DESK OF $49 FOR WHATEVER. I WAS CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $110 WHICH $55 IS REIMBRUSED AFTER SO MUCH TIME. CHARGE WHAT YOU WILL AND LEAVE IT AT THAT. WE COME FOR THE SLIDES & LAZY RIVER LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. BUSINESS MAYBE DIFFERENT.
We really enjoyed the Oasis Water Park they had different events going on which made it super fun for the kids. The room was clean, great location close to shops restaurants and more. Plenty of things to do at resort.
Comfortable suites with good beds; lush vegetation; wonderful little swimming pool right across from our suite; restaurant patio dining; a great water park for kids; good gift shop. Furniture somewhat dated; very small bathroom; stained carpet in living room (except for that, the suite was very clean).

The waterpark was supposed to open on February 18th per the website and a phone call to the hotel - so we booked from February 20th to 24th. What they failed to inform us was that the Waterpark was only open the weekend before and the weekend afterwards. When we arrived on the Monday the person who greeted us and showed us to our room talked about the Waterpark being great and only later did we find out it was closed. We got 2 nights of the facility fee refunded, however the other 2 nights were not refunded and we chose this hotel especially because of the waterpark. Very disappointing.

Staff.Staff and Staff is the resorts strength... Luz was great; fast and friendly. She got us checked in and on our way quickly with limited swim time available......that was important. Dan escorted us to our room and set us up quick and easy. Room service was awesome Resort fee seems over the top considering daily rate being charged
Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere... we celebrated our first year anniversary here and the staff was very courteous that we had an upgrade on our room and a bottle of wine given to us for free at your arrival! Excellent location! Restaurant had good quality food just a little overpriced.
We went for the water park & got more than we expected for the holiday with extended hours & activities for the children. For an additional amount we could check out later & enjoy the park more. Staff were very courteous. No microwave
We loved our comfortable room. We loved the waterpark. We loved being able to check in a little early. We didn't love not being able to bring a few snacks into the waterpark. They make sure you have to buy them there.
The water park is so fun ! There are so many fun things to do there the water slides are awesome! The beds are super comfy too!! There's a resort fee that should just be included in the price but it's for a good reason and the room service is a bit high .
This place is beautiful. The grounds and buildings are recently remodeled and they are very clean. The room had a lot of space. Parking was great, and the resort fee was actually worth it for once. They give you a lot for the $24 a night fee, I had no complaints.
Easy check in They boast "millions of dollars in recent renovations" but the rooms are just awful. I remember this resort from many years ago, and at the time it was very nice. They have basically let the whole place become run down and have milked it for all the money they can get out of it. It is a run down crappy "resort" now, and should be condemned.

Nice rooms for the price, fun waterpark, but the pools were dirty and the pool pavers were blistering hot on our feet.
I loved the cozy rooms, I get cold very easily so I was able to turn the heat on full blast while being in a SUPER comfy bed. Room service was amazing and very quick and the staff were very nice and helpful.
Aging but acceptable property The practice of a mandatory resort fee seems to be a gouging tactic if you don't use the services. Not against this property specifically, just the industry practice. Other than that, a pleasant stay.
The amount of space for the King bedroom suites was very accommodating. There are two separate rooms, a living room area with a pull out bed is great to use if you have additional folks with you or children, and a separate bedroom in case you want more privacy. The staff were very knowledgeable and responsive. I didn't need much assistance, but for the few questions or needs I had, they were quick to aid me. The resort is kept up well. It has stayed up-to-date since my last stay there 20 years ago. I'm happy to see it has been kept in good condition. I went to the spa and the masseuse was incredibly experienced and did an exceptional job. I would highly recommend the spa. There are a few small areas that the resort could improve on: -I noticed it was very difficult reaching hotel staff by phone. I tried every single line (ie Guest Request, Room Service, Front Desk..) just to try to reach someone. This happened to me about 5-6 times within my first 36 hours. They could work on beefing up availability of folks to answer phones. -The spa was fantastic, and one of the showers was very dark, and had one ceiling light which was not in the shower. This made the room dark after pulling the shower curtain. It didn't do justice to the overall appearance to the spa. -Also I would recommend the spa supplying a few creature comforts in the locker room, such as disposable combs for people to use after showers.
The hotel was very kid friendly and beautiful. The river ranch was a blast. Our room was large with a great view. Our room was dirty. It didn't look like the bath tub had been cleaned at all. I had to rinse several hairs down the drain before I could even shower my kids. The carpet was absolutely terrible which became extremely noticeable once my 10 month old started crawling on it. The service was ok some of the staff was super friendly and helpful others were almost rude. All of that being said, I would still stay here again with high hopes of the room being a little cleaner.
Nothing Hvac was loud. Tv had cords and boxes hanging out the side. Guests ran around screaming and play until 11pm
I like the location on 16th Street. Nice bars and restaurants close by. Water park was fun. Rooms are a bit dated. Water park was smaller than I was hoping. Not a lot of choices for dining on resort during summer.
The pool was great! The pool staff was excellent and always around if you needed anything! We were unable to check in early, so they said they would text us when our room was ready which should have been by 4 because that's the time of check in. Around 4:30 still no text, so we decided to go check ourselves. When I spoke with the woman at the front desk about checking in she said our room was still not ready. Luckily she moved something around and got us into a room, but what if I hadn't gone to the front desk and just waited for a text who knew how long we would have waited. If check in is at 4 then we should have been in a room by that time. Also the housekeeping never came to clean our room on the second day which I found very odd.
Nice place No smoking. $140+ rooms but $27 just to park in garage. And no the hotel doesn't pay for it dicount it or validate parking. This was a bummer.
This hotel is Nice and clean. The interior design is modern. The location is perfect if you want to take a stroll around downtown. From the front entrance, you can see the US Airways stadium, the Chase stadium or arena (sorry, not a sports fan) and just a few minutes walk away. Also it about a five to ten minutes walk to Heritage Square. One minus is the room we stayed in had only one chair and a long sofa for seating. Having just one chair made it tough for two of us to enjoy food or coffee in our room. I recommend friends to stay there, but because it's downtown, don't be surprised about how expensive parking can be, $23/night. None

I liked the location, the décor, and the amenities and perks included with the hotel room stay. Overall, a great hotel. :) I did not like the design of the shower, where it was only partially enclosed with a glass wall, where water could spray out onto the bathroom floor. The mattress was a little hard, and the pillows were a little flat.
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, courteous and professional. Only guests can enter the guest room floors. Our room's thermostat was not working right. Our room at the lowest temperature was freezing but at any higher temperature our room would be way too hot. There was no door on the shower which caused water from the shower to get on the bathroom floor, making it slick and a fall hazard. Our bed had no sheet, just the comforter and a small throw blanket. We had to request a sheet and add it to the bed ourselves. We had a very difficult time getting comfortable enough to sleep.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the location - easy walk to arena and convention center and light rail. Plenty of restaurants, clubs, live music choices nearby as well. While I didn't mind, some may be put off by the need to leave the hotel and cross the plaza to access fitness center and breakfast. Both are well worth the "inconvenience"
Staff was very nice and the restaurant was good. Beds were comfortable and room was a pretty good size. Rooms were a little run down and carpet was a little dirty, some things in the bathroom were broken and bathroom was really small.
Restaurant was good. Junior suite was spacious. No hot water so cold showers all weekend. Towels were old and not very soft. Combo shower/bath was old/cheap. Blinds wouldn't close completely in living room area so privacy was an issue - especially since you could see through to the bedroom. Overall impression is that they took an old, run down 2 star hotel and tried to updated it with hipster accents. I've seen it done well elsewhere but here they fall short.
everything was above and beyond fantastic! incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, hip pool with excellent late night vibe, delicious drinks, tasteful decor, all-around cool scene in the heart of phoenix. we'll return whenever we can!
There was a dj poolside all day, then a jazz band played on the roof directly above me until 10:00 pm. 7:00 am kids yelling bloody murder in the pool, if you don't like sleep this is your spot
Loved the Complimentary Drinks and Snacks Pillows were outstanding Front Desk and Staff were great. Very Clean My room was quiet and very confortable Internet Connection was lousy. One piece of toast for Breakfast is just UnAmerican
Breakfast. $10 voucher for the in-house restaurant. Rooms & beds were clean and sharp. I booked a Sunday night stay. Apparently they were all-booked for the night before, and after I arrived 30 minutes before normal check in time on Sunday, and they couldn't accommodate me for those 30 minutes and made me wait until the normal check in time.
Location was good for what I needed. Other than that, stay away. Bedding was clean, staff was attentive and polite, but the place has not been maintained. At all. The property may have ranked a 4 star rating long ago, but it honestly looks like that was the last time they even spent a dime on upkeep of the structure. Again, the employees were great, but the place is a dump. Room had carpet that was withered and frayed, looked like it had been installed in the 80's. As if that wasn't enough of a tip off, there were several huge stains that literally looked like a donkey had urinated a few times - again, quite a while ago. Air vents have not been cleaned since the last century, so if you are into breathing spores, other people's skin cells, and bacteria - this place is for you. I also had the pleasure of sharing the suite with a loud buzzing noise every 55-60 seconds. Sounded like a cell phone on a table vibrating. After a few nights of putting up with this, I decided to investigate. Really with I had not... first I found a huge 36" x 16" hole hacked out of the wall behind a mirror hanging in the connecting hallway to the front room. This had some other mismatching hunk of drywall dangling in it, not really doing much to seal the hole. Emergency plumbing repair unfinished? Maybe the source of the camel pee stains, don't know. Finally, I found the item responsible for the 55 second interval alarm... behind the vent in the ceiling, a cheap recirculation pump was mounted with no thought for vibration dampening. Seriously, this thing was absurdly annoying. Honestly, I've seem far better maintained rooms in a Motel 6 or Super 8, I expected much better from a hotel of this supposed caliber.
Old meets new was fun. Learning more about Don being blown-up in his crappy, small, yellow forgien sports car gave a fun dangerous vibe. Fitness room worked. Loation is great. Covered parking rules. One beat House music is hard to take by the pool trying to read or on the roof watching a beatuful sunset. That music requires the listener to be on lots of really good drugs in a club to be appriciated. However, I dare to say most people thing that music sucks anytime, anywhere while on any drug(s). Clubbing, stockholm syndrome nonsense, sholdn't be forced on everyone in the name of pseudo cool.
Lady at the front desk was very helpful finding me food at 12pm.
I like the amenities that were offered. I would definitely stay there again.
Bed. Linens. Pool. Exercise room I would rather have had a non handicapped room so that I could have used the tub

Everyone from the two gentleman at the front desk to the woman who cared for us in the 'pub' was extremely pleasant. They obviously value customer service a lot. The only nit-picky thing I can even think of to put as 'bad' would be that the doors and fixtures for the door seem older and don't seem like the most secure thing.
Great location, close to the highway and a ton of restaurants. When we got to our room the temperature was 79* and kept climbing, lowering the setting did not help. We left for dinner, called front desk and they said someone would be up shortly to look. 2 hours later, we returned to the room and the temp was now 80* and nobody had been there. It took a second call, someone came up, fixed it, and then an additional hour before the room was comfortable to sleep in...
The rooms were nice. The area had many restaurants within walking distance. Close to the freeway and easy to get to. None.

The beds were great! Somewhere in my booking it had "airport" in the name...but we were a relative long way from the airport! Also our room had a smokey smell to it...

Renovated rooms are very comfortable and stylish. Deluxe rooms have a patio and stall shower. Staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is extensive and well priced. Public areas have been beautifully redone. Did not dislike anything

My room was nicely renovated but bathroom much to small. The shower when in use would soak the bathroom floor. The property is getting tired looking, time for a face lift. I returned after 10 years and was disappointed to find gym still to small, spa uninspiring, exercise studio and bike/tennis area a throw back to 1980. I would return to the front portico each morning from a long run and was never greeted by bell staff or offered bottled water as i stood there recovering from the run and sweating from the desert heat. I have become so accustomed to being greeted by staff with bottled water and towel upon returning from jogging at all great hotels that i really resented having to ask for it. The main lobby is beautiful and I enjoyed evening cocktails on the patio adjacent to the lobby. The bar staff was lovely. Lunch and breakfast in Frank and Albert's was painful to endure. Breakfast was so delayed with mistakes to the order and lunch was mediocre. The cafe also disappointed. One meal at each was one too many. Best meals were all off property. My daughter and I walked thru the shops and found once again we were back in the 80's. We love to shop so it was hard to believe there was almost next to nothing to buy. Housekeeping was a bit lacking of management, it seemed. Dirty dessert dishes lingered in my room for two days. The Scottsdale - Phoenix area has so many fabulous resorts, it's to bad The Biltmore doesn't seem to be one of them anymore.
We celebrated our anniversary and were upgraded to a beautiful suite, and the front desk staff sent a beverage, chocolates and fruit to our room when they learned. Loved the room, the grounds are amazing and enjoyed the amazing amenities. We're planning to return every year.

Nice pool and gym. Great drinks at the hotel bar. Beautiful hotel. They seemed to be incredibly short staffed in terms of housekeeping. On our first night, our room wasn't ready for check-in at 6:30pm -- 2.5 hours after the hotel's check-in time of 4pm. It seemed like it would work out in our favor because we got a room upgrade since our assigned room wasn't ready. But then on our second day our room wasn't cleaned until 4:30pm and on our third day, they didn't clean the room at all -- and we were out of the room from 10am until 9pm! When we called the front desk, they offered to send someone to clean the room, but it took 40 minutes for someone to show up.

Mountain biking and guide (Chip) were excellent. Wright's was outstanding dining all around. Food, service, presentation, ambiance, price. If the entire resort were run like Wrights, this would be a five star resort. Spa services, attendants were great. Megan O. at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The lobby is beautiful. A Maintanence engineering employee whose name I did not get. The bicycle room service provided a bit of whimsy and were a delight to watch them ride through the resort. The swim up bar is a nice touch, but perhaps should not be immediately next to the kids water slide. Was billed as a five star resort when I booked it. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice place with a lot of history. However, a five star resort implies attention to little details that separate you from other resorts. Those little details were missing. While I understand the main entrance is under renovation, the concrete blocks holding down the umbrellas for the valets looked cheap and haphazard. Not a good first impression. Upon arrival, no one offered to help with my bags, merely pointing me to the direction of the temporary main entrance. At that entrance, there is a small lip in the doorway, making it difficult to maneuver a roller bag. While the front desk did ask if I needed assistance with my bags, no bellhops were around if I did, and given the room location, they should have been more readily available, as my room in the garden wing is on the second floor accessible only by stairs. Upon check-in, I searched for ice (which with a bellhop could have been a non-issue at least for the first day). I could not locate the ice machine, or anything in the in-room literature to direct me. I found a housekeeper and asked her. She did not seem to know either. A maintenance engineering department employee coming out of a guest room overhead the conversation and immediately led me to the nearest ice machine himself. Unfortunately it was broken. Not only that, there was a bus cart full of dirty dishes stowed in front of it. Again, this is the kind of little detail a five-star resort takes care of. The ice machine in the adjacent paradise wing seemed more designed for "back of the house" rather than for a guest to be accessing it. Service at Frank and Albert's was very nonchalant. It did not seem as is they cared if we stayed to eat or not, or enjoyed our meal. Everything seemed to be under construction at once, causing noise throughout the day, from early in the morning until afternoon. When I asked about this, several, employees' response was "well, it's the slow season...." as if I should have lower expectations because it's August. Again, a little detail a five-star resort should nail. Guests should not notice a difference in staff attention regardless of "season." A few other "little details": In the lobby bar, the cords for the TVs and speakers were haphazardly hanging, not neatly along the wall. There was visible water damage on one of the corner speakers. A large cobweb was hanging in the corner and blowing with the AC. There were several areas where grout or paint had dripped onto the pressed concrete blocks from recent renovations but were left there, not removed. The pool desk was open and appeared to be staffed, but was unmanned for five minutes, leading me to walk behind the desk to help myself to clean towels as no one was around. Ultimately, we cut our stay a day short and moved to a different area five star resort, where we did not experience any negative issues.
Many luxury features. Service very good and happy hour nice. Hot tub not warm, bed sagged in middle, no robes, landscapers started gas power hedge trimmers at 8:35am for 45 minutes in courtyard next to room.
Lots of places to sit and talk. Good facilities. Newly renovated rooms are very nice. Staff is great! Smoking in the general seating areas outside
Resort was pretty and acommodations acceptable for price. Narrow roadways and endless views of cars. I was unable to find a way to navigate through the resort without walking through the parking lots. Only room service ordered was a caesar salad with a total cost of over $20. Lettuce had just been washed, but not dried so it was watery with cold cut type chicken placed on top. Very poor especially for a Hilton.

Based upon the first impression of the front desk service, along with the room, I was expecting a perfectly fine stay. Especially, considering, the stay was only for one night. The room was spotless, and super cute! (We got one with a jacuzzi, which is definitely a bonus of this hotel.) there was even a little note from the maid, ensuring we knew it had been cleaned 100%, for our satisfaction. That being said, I was required to call a 1-800 line, for room service? I was directed to an obscure representative, who was way beyond unprofessional, who then, transferred me to the kitchen of, what I found out later, was Streets of New York. Sure, but then why is it called OrderInn, on the room service menu? I just want to know where the food I'm paying stupid amounts of money for, is coming from. Along with several, basic food items, such as, plain old, Garlic bread, that they had, extensively, labeled as "Passion bread", and was being way overcharged for.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for the fourth of July weekend. I will never stay here again ever. The room was dated. The room looked like a road side motel. The pictures and smoke dectors were falling off the wall. The refrigerator door had a hole like some one kicked it. I went to four different ice machines four different times and not one of them worked. I had to drive to the store it was very inconvenient. For the amount we paid for each nigh it was not worth it. We didn't even go to the water park portion of the resort because we were so disappointed with our room
Beautiful location and amenities. We expected great services and top-notch amenities, but the staff and our room were just mediocre. First, we had to wait for 10 minutes to sign in. The check-in agent was tied up with a time-consuming transaction but didn't even bother to apologise for the wait, much less attempt to summon a colleague to help us. Bad form. Next, we paid for queen-sized beds, but our room was outfitted with full-size beds. Wah wah. It was late and we weren't in the mood for making a fuss, but it was just...shabby. Nothing horrible, just not good.
Lounge view awesome went for the sunset and ended up going back for night cap and view of Phoenix at night from the mountain every night. Plenty to do golf, great hiking trails, tennis and great pool area. Since you are literally on top of a mountain restaurants off property are not walk to but a quick 10 minute cab or car ride.
as we frequent several valley hotels, we especially loved the adult pool area.................... our room had absolutely no view front or back
Close to family. The resort is tired and it shows.
Nice room nice pools I stayed on a Monday until Wednesday and it wasn't very busy at all. I was put in the farthest room from the main pool so it wasn't walking distance, did receive shuttle service but would of been nicer to be closer.
beauriful view from the highest point on the property. Rooms are a bit stale and in need of renovation. Sink made weird noises that woke us up. Staff is mediocre at front desk.

Nice rooms, nice pool, good security, close to airport, get on the shuttle 2 hours earlier even for domestic flights. Bad location in town, maybe under staffed as they weren't as helpful, breakfast was pretty low quality but edible just enough.

We needed a convenient place to stay before an early flight out of Phoenix. The Econo Lodge was perfect. Clean, well-kept, comfortable, and no surprises. Breakfast even started at 4am so we could eat before our 5am shuttle to the airport (free!). The staff was efficient and nice. Even the other travelers were enjoyable. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. I had no complaints.
Very close to the airport. Staff was friendly. The bed was huge but very squeaky. I couldn't move at all without sounding like I was getting it on...and I was there alone. They also put me right by the stairs and housecleaning supply closet...it was very loud outside the room most of the mornings/evenings.
Clean Bad neighborhood
I called to confirm my reservation and the gentleman who answered my phone was so rude!!!!!! Then when I got there, they refused my reservation. I was really nice considering the fact these people could control my stay and ruin it in an instant. Maybe I should've been rude and ghetto like the people they treated fairly.

For a short stay this place was perfect! I was staying for just a few hours to shower and get a little bit of sleep before our flight and this was a perfect place, especially for the price.
Front desk agent was very nice, room was basic but comfortable. Unbeatable price. Shuttle to and from airport was on time and minutes away. If you just need a bed to sleep in for a few hours between flights I would stay here again. Stray hairs from the cleaning people, also forgot cleaning buckets in bathroom. Sheets had some small holes in them. There is nothing nearby. Took a cab to a better part of town to get dinner. Cabbie warned me this is a bad part of town and I should not walk anywhere as it's very unsafe (6'3" male).

If you're attending a function at the convention center, this is the perfect hotel. I wish that there was a small store for incedentals.

Very close to Talking Stick Resort Arena and Chase Field. Staff was not very knowledgeable about the area which was strange considering they live there. Parking is terribly overpriced and wifi is not free. Hotel overall looks very tired and run-down. Online pictures are not a true representation of what the property looks like.
I do appreciate the employees and the easy access to many other attractions. That was nice I did not like the actual bed and the sheets and covers. I must of woke up 6 -7 times. Sheets where not soft. They were hard and loud. The bed was noisy and felt old. Was not a comfortable sleep. Also. This is arizona the air is dry. Maybe giving complimentary waters would be nice. Not charge $5 per water bottle.
The heart of downtown Phoenix within walking distance to restaurants and bars downtown. The most uncomfortable bed I've attempted sleep in for as long as I can remember. My poor back.

Great location for what we needed. I really liked the Fitness Center. Plenty of cardio machines. Nice touch having the cold, wet towels available. Water temperature was terrible in the room. Either too cold or too hot. When I turned on the hot water at the sink to wash my face it got very hot and no amount of cold water would cool it down for quite a while. The shower had to be turned all the way hot to get a warm shower. There wasn't a shower towel mat for the floor the first day we were there.

The Royal Palms offered the perfect oasis for my boyfriend and I to completely relax and enjoy one another. We had the best vacation drinking Mai Tai's, Miami Vice's and Woo Woo's by the pool while catching some rays and laughing with each other in complete bliss. The room was perfect for romance, drinking wine on the balcony while over looking Camelback mountain and boning in the huge king size bed, tub and shower. We were allowed to stay at the pool and to use the spa facilities to shower after we had checked out and before our evening flight. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
The resort is beautiful. The wait staff at the restaurant was fantastic. Check in was delayed until after the check in time and there was no apology for this. Staff at pool were not very friendly and very slow.

We loved our time here! The grounds are beautiful and there are so many small little spots to sit and relax. Service is top notch. Access to the spa as a hotel guest is a huge advantage as well. Loved everything about our stay!
The location of the hotel was great. It was in the heart of Phoenix. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The gym is very small and they were renovating so you could hear work being done and the elevators were really slow.
Staff very friendly and helpful. The Concierge Room is advertised as being for guests with rewards points at the Platinum or Gold level plus one guest. The hotel opened the Concierge Room to hundreds of pre-teen and teenaged girls unchaperoned, competing in a national ballerina event in the city. Business and professional guests very disappointed.
Stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. When I got off the elevator to go to my room, I stepped on the thickest, plushest carpet ever. Room was spotless. Lots of outlets on the desk so I was able to keep all my devices charged. All of the staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful. Even the valet, when my car was brought around, washed my windshield before I started out for home. Extremely easy to get back to I-10. The breakfast buffet was wonderful - including lots of fresh fruit and again. Walking distance to Chase Field as well as lots of bars and restaurants. Would have liked to have had a magnifying mirror in the bathroom for putting on my makeup but there was lots of light.
The Renaissance is close to so many cool downtown Phoenix venues - Valley Bar, Hanny's Seamus McCaffrey's, and Crescent Ballroom. We were able to walk around and had plenty to do all within walking distance.
Large rooms. Comfy bedding. Modern design. Great views of the city. Great breakfast. If you elect not to have maid service, you are given a $5 coupon to use in the restaurant. Parking was $28 per car per night. We parked across the street for $14 per night.
Booked the hotel and tried to cancel a couple hours later. Priceline spoke with the front desk manager and they refused to allow me to cancel. I understand it's in your fine print but it's just bad business practice to take someone's money when the reservation was JUST made. It's not like it was booked for months and the room was not given to someone else because of my reservation. I am the CEO of a moderately sized company and travel to Phoenix 5-10 times a year and send hundreds of clients to Phoenix. I will make sure no one stays here. Good thing you kept my $500.
The bathroom Very unhappy with trying to book two deluxe rooms next door for our bachelorette weekend. When requested, " Syndey" didn't see any prob. Didn't happen of course!
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and nice size. Very lovely outside pool with plenty of clean towels. The free breaksfast bar was fresh and delicious. First visit our family was put into handicapped room and the shower facilities were extremely messy with 4 people showering.
It was a wonderful hotel, great breakfast, comfy room, and friendly staff. I was traveling alone and my room was on the 5th floor quite a distance from the office and a little hike through the foliage and pool area. Even from the parking lot entrance, closest to the elevator I needed to take, I had to travel down a dark walk area by the laundry. I didn't feel unsafe but it could be a recipe for disaster. I checked in after dark and the lighting is limited around the pool area for the ambiance but this made it difficult to figure out where to go. I would have preferred something closer and should have asked.
The only things redeeming about this property are the free parking, free breakfast and warm cookies. This hotel is dingy, rundown, and desperately needs renovation. The room doors are also not within a closed building. This Double Tree is nothing like any of the ones we've used in the past. Save your money and look for a cleaner, safer and nicer overall property.
Appreciated the free shuttle to and from the airport, as well as to neighboring restaurants. The complimentary breakfast buffet had plenty of choices, including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, cereal, various breads and pastries, yogurt, etc. Rooms are spacious, with a door separating the bedroom from the living room. Two large flat screen tv's, locking safe, large refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. King bed is super comfortable with pillow top mattress! Plenty of large towels and good water pressure. Internet access was reliable and strong. Bathroom is very small, and it was very difficult for both of us to get ready in the morning. The sink was next to the toilet, as opposed to being outside the bathroom, as in other hotels. Hair dryer only had medium heat setting - plenty of power, but needed warmer temp. Most rooms surround the pool, and one night the families using the pool were really noisy. The noise reverberates!

We liked the size of the room. And it was clean We did not like that some of the channels on the television were fuzzy, and more than that, the pool was very dirty.
The location was close to the airport and only a short drive to University of Phoenix Stadium. It was perfect for a quick in and out trip.
Celebrate New Year's Eve with an early check-in and stay at the Doubletree and early dinner at 6 PM and the nearby transportation to our event departing at 8 PM fantastic
The hot buffet breakfast included is fantastic in quality and expectations. The set up of hotel is wonderful as all views ou can see mountains and planes taking off (the noise from planes was not an issue even though you felt like you could grab planes out of the sky. I would recommend this for all of my relatives who would visit me and for all of you wbo have no idea where you should stay.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Loved that they had a shuttle to and from the airport. We ate at the Ruby Tuesday's right by it and had a great time with some of the locals. Aloft is close to the light rail, which was very convenient for us since we were going to the Diamondbacks game in downtown Phoenix. Would definitely stay here again. The price was also great! The only complaint that we had was that there was some construction going on that started at 530 am, which woke us up way earlier than needed.
My young daughter liked the modern decor. She is averse to older looking bathrooms but liked the modern bathroom style (both public and room restrooms). The place was clean for the price we got. Would consider other places in the < $100 category. Wish there was a complementary breakfast included but there was options nearby in the area.

Nothing The front desk staff we were very rude. They insisted that the room was not paid for even though I showed them proof that I prepaid. As a result of the lack of customer service, I did not check in to the hotel I will never book at another Aloft property nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone else.

It's close to the airport! They give you loads of free food! Like soft tacos with grilled chicken and salad. The airport shuttle doesn't run early enough for a 6am flight, but they'll hire you a cab instead - on them! The exercise room is for 16-year-olds and up only; no exceptions. The pool wasn't super clean, though it was sanitary.
I liked the quality of the bedding and the bed itself which allows one to adjust the firmness/softness of the matress. The room is uniquely decorated and expecially comfortable for male guests.

Small patio area, small pool area. No continental breakfast but instead a $14 breakfast buffet. Stuck us in a room next to the elevators which shook our room every 10 seconds all night long.
I needed a place close to the airport with a 24 hr. shuttle service, and one that would allow an early check in. This hotel has wonderful people working at the reception desk,(Donigha?) professional, courteous, and accommodating. A nice beer and wine happy hour and a good menu for dinner and breakfast doesn't hurt either. It is not a 'walkable' neighborhood, but then the Hilton Garden provide s the necessary services, so not a 'deal-breaker'. Proximity to the airport, for the price, in my opinion can't be beat.

Every one of the service people at the hotel was extremely polite and helpful. The fee for parking at the hotel was $6 a day, but I was told I would not pay for the night I stayed at the hotel. It was only applicable for the four days I left my car for my trip. However, when I returned I was told there was a $12 valet fee for the night I stayed there. WHAT???? That was NEVER mentioned and the attendant didn't charge me when I said I'd never heard of that.

The lobby entrance is so dim that it looks really dingy and rundown, which, unfortunately, gives a poor first impression that colors everything else you see subsequently.

It was a great experience from the front desk to the easy check out. Not really a factor if you're not a weekender but parking is truly disproportionate to the amount of rooms in the hotel. You will find that out the hard way if you find yourself staying on a Saturday night.
Staff were not friendly .... injured myself while there and would not allow me temporary use of a wheelchair. Nothing in the vicinity of the hotel really.
