The staff was extremely helpful & friendly
Villas are well designed and sited well within a setting of rice paddies. The landscaping was particularly well designed and well kept. The toilet/bathrooms are little outdated; and need to be modernised.
We stayed in the deluxe pool villa & it was an absolutely gorgeous room! The food was terrible, we found it necessary to travel into ubud centre to eat every meal.
The hotel staff's good services and comfort of the hotel environment.
Privacy, day bed - views. Pool. Friendliness. No
Very good breakfast.Awarding winning resturant.Up to world best class standard for food. False advertising.Ubud Charlet room will never be available. There are only 8 rooms looks like the adv. picture out of 58 rooms in total. Some room were renovated but we never had a chance to even see it. Our room was old and no 4 pillar bed. Will send you picture later. When I check out, I saw another pair of traveller were complainting about the room too. What you pay is not what you see in adv. picture.
The hotel was among the pictureque rice fields and forests, away from the main tourist area - very quiet and relaxing. Our unit had it's own garden with a little hut with thatched roof in it. We saw lots of stars in the clear night and monkeys in the trees above the rice fields in the morning. The hotel has beautiful main garden, pool area, temple, paths to village, etc. The drive from/to the airport, nusa dua and kuta was 1hr-1 1/2 hr depending on the time of the day. If you prefer the bustling tourist scenaries and spa hopping, Ubud area may be bit far.
The peaceful bushy surrounding, with monkeys in the trees. The pool villa's and the lovely moonlight dinners. The breakfast could be improved, just by adding some cheese, ham and salami (for people that do not enjoy hot meals in the morning.) The boiling coffee is really terrible! They should invest in a good coffee machine then the resort would be "perfect".
Good service - excelent location Driver transfer was a little expensive compared to taxi
The hotel was really up to and above our expectations. Really nice setting and surrounding and very friendly and helpful staff. as the chalets were full we were upgraded to a villa.
Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, very relaxing atmosphere.
staff were amazing, attentive & friendly. Breakfat is gourmet and faantastic. Luxirious villas facing a nice view. water at the private villa swimming pool and in the public pool were very cold. food served in the rooms is not variable and over priced. the food served in the rooms probably tasted like pet food
Beautiful grounds and setting. Large and well decorated room. Shuttle to town was good. Menu was too gourmet, with limited selections, small portions and high prices. The cheesburger in the bar was the most expensive I have ever had anywhere.
The accommodating staff. The pinesol smell of the room.
The Staff is incredible friendly The designated driver for pick up us in the airport tryes to set bussines with some shops in our way to the hotel,,,,prices were to high when we saw the other shops; obviusly there was an arrengement between them
The staff were lovely, nothing was ever too difficult, it was so quiet and peaceful, you barely see other guests around. the outside shower/bath area can be dangerously slippery.
Everything is absolutely excellent and I would recommend this hotel to anybody - it is amazing!!
One of the most wonderful experiences of our life. Your feel pampered from the moment of arrival till the moment you leave.
A beautiful hotel set amongst lushous greenery with staggering views over the paddy fields. The hotel is luxurious and staff very friendly, overall we had a fantastic stay on our honeymoon and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings.
we felt in another world. the hotel is beautiful and the room too. the view on the rice fiels and nature is amazing and so relaxing. the room was beautiful but unfortunately the humidity smell was very strong. Not sure this room is used very often.
Intitially tried to give me a lower grade room to the one I booked but was moved immediately I complained. Resort has fabulous pools in the valley and is of a good standard. Rooms at the top of the resort - Lumbung Villas - do suffer from some road noise but not too intrusive and is very quiet overnight
The Beji Resort is a wonderful little resort in Ubud! We loved the place, the location is great near some wonderful restorans and galeries, the rooms/villas are lovley, the view is fantastic and the pools at the resort are fantastic!!!
The hotel is beautifully appointed with spectacular views over a luscious valley. The grounds and terracing give a real sense of privacy and specialness. The staff were impeccably polite and helpful and breakfast overlooking the valley was just an amazing experience, as if watching a wildlife programme on TV. The breakfast itself was also delicious and plentiful. A wonderful base from which to visit Ubud. There are only three drops and pickups from town eachh day - a more regular service would ahve made the stay perfect.
We were very fortunate to be able to stay in fantastic accomodation.Brilliant views of jungle and so very quiet. Staff excellent.
Hotel position and view. Considering the room rates (about 100 Eur/day) the hotel facilities should be better kept than currently, i.e. the bathroom, even if pretty large, is really essential and old.
This was a quiet resort with a lovely tropical outlook and pool area and nice rooms. 2km downhill walk to town centre with galleries along the way, 5 min uphill walk to nearby day spa with good treatments and helpful staff at resort. 3 shuttle trips daily to Ubud but not overly convenient times. We would return . Meals are ok but there are much better and many options out of the resort. Breakfast is acceptable with eggs, noodle, rice dishes and french toast. Juices arent fresh and coffee is horrilbe - ask for the instant ! Lots of high steps in/around resort so be warned if you have knee/hips problems !
The quiet and nice tropical landscape and the position from ubud downtown 15 to 20 Minutes by foot. Hotel personnel very kind and helpfull .Room are big and clean Big lezard in the bathroom ( 30cm long ) , swiming pool not big enough
The staff were very nice, polite and cheerful, always with a happy smile on their face. The location was beautiful and my room was large , bright and very comfortable and clean. No insects in the room and the grouns were well maintained. Beautiful vistas. and there was a free hotel shuttle bus to and from Ubud 3 times a day. Also in the general are there were lots of galleries and art shops. The food in the restraunt was not great. Average more like. And for the equivalent price of $100 in Nusa Dua, you get a lot more. But do not know if it is fair to compare in that way.
The quiet atmosphere and friendly staff. Located a little out of the main town to avoid all the city noise. The hotel shuttle to town could have run a few more trips. This is not a complaint just an observation.
the pool and views are very nice, we found the family room very well designed for a couple and three children it is a long way out of town - probably 45 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride
Two thumbs up! The main exclusive feature is elephants and opportunity to watch them, feed them, even participate in morning bathing :) Ride them in the night and day trip (not to long trips but just perfectly long enough to get pleasure and not to get tired). Dinner after night trip is recommended. Cuisine was very good - delicious juice shakes, and steak was more than perfect. Service with great attention to details and at the same time staff efforts stay almost invisible for you, you just enjoy the results of the service. Beautiful elephants, two little ones were very cute. The place is unique. Really recommend to arrive there at earliest possible time. A bit expensive, but worth it. The only thing - it's hard to imagine what to do there more than 1-2 days. Located in the center of the Bali island, so it takes time to get there (and back). Hotel owners might teach elephant drivers few more english phrases, because it gets a bit boring to answer the same standard question they ask you ;)
We loved interaction with the elephants and speaking with their mahouts about their training. Two things: 1. We were uncomfortable that elephants had both legs chained at night. We understand the reason but think you should do a better outreach, so that your guests understand why this is needed before they become upset by it. An orientation program would do it. 2. Guests need more education about elephants. We don't just want them to do a few tricks, we want to learn about how they think and what they are capable of. Mahouts can provide some of this information but it should be formally presented to interested guests by means of evening or morning lectures.
Wonderful place. Once in a life time experience! The room is probably the best we ever experienced (and we've seen a few). The "park view" room is a must. Make sure to come early as there is a lot to see and do within the park.
The elephants were fantastic very hands-on. The rooms were excellent, very clean and all the comforts you require. Worth the extra for the park view room. The food was at best lukewarm sometimes cold
Amazing facilities, luxurious room, brilliant staff, fantastic elephants and view over the park. We definitely recommend paying the extra for a park view room. It has been the highlight of our month in Bali and would recommend a visit (if not a stay) to the Safari Park... washing the elephants was so exciting. One word of caution: the Safari Park is located 15km north of Ubud and not the one on the coast!!! Not everyone is aware of the accommodation at the park. Nothing - It was amazing.
It was very nice stay in the hotel watching/riding elephants. Unforgettable experiences. It would be nice to have a bathtub in this luxury hotel for relaxation.
Just an amazing experience. Could watch the baby elephants play for hours. The gardens were immaculate and have never seen such an array of orchids. The elephant ride to dinner each evening was awesome and the mahoots who handled the elephants were so gentle and very informative.
Calm and peacefull atmosphere, firendly and willing staff, beautiful gardens. Clean and well maintained rooms. Fantastic place to relax. Only weak lighting in the rooms.
It was a beautiful location and we felt like being in an adventure movie set. You experience the elephants in their natural environment while being able to feed them bath them and play with them. It was an amazing experience. Although the breakfast was tasty the variety was poor, especially for us as Muslims, as most of the meat was pork.
