Plus: Very professional and attentive
Plus: The flight attendants were kind and attentive and professional. I enjoyed being able to watch movies of my choice. Great selection of entertainment available. Food was good and the Hagen Daze ice cream was a great surprise!
Minus: I’m thin but 177cm tall (long legs) so the seats were wide but leg room was uncomfortable for me. Also, the posture of the seats are not good for spinal or neck alignment so, again not comfortable. No support for the lower back and very limited reclinablity.
Plus: Crew was very nice and did what they could.
Minus: Economy seats are so cramped that the couple (who were strangers to me) seated next to me (i was in the window seat) decided to 1) one would sleep prone on the floor in the foot portion of our row; and 2) the other would rest his head on ME and the armrest, stretching out on their seats. Greeeaat.
Minus: Everything compared to Emirates or Etihad
Minus: Left on first leg trip from NY to HK. 23 kg/ bag. Two bags per person. Next leg was HK to Malpensa. When I go to check in they tell me 30 kg. Total weight allowed. Very upsetting. I was asked to pay 12780.- HKD. Completely misleading and trapped. I will consider other airline in future.

Plus: Handset to control screen didn’t work. Airline reimbursed me with $75 voucher for inflight duty-free shop.

Plus: Almost nothing, this was a terrible flight and experience! The movies were good, that's about it.
Minus: No online check-in, long waiting at in-person check-in. Rude, inattentive personnel; worst is that every passenger in transit need to go through customs in Xiamen which is terribly complicated. No word about this upon booking or on Xiamen airline's website. Customs in China isn't a nice experience either. Nobody was able to find the right way for check-in, it was a mess. I will never fly again Xiamen Airlines and I recommend to everyone to avoid this airline under any circumstances.

Minus: ticketing was terrible, id number is totally different from our passport.causing lots of ordeal in check in and security check
Plus: 787 Dreamliner layout is efficient, generous legroom and recline is better than American carriers. Crew works as team, fast and courteous. Very helpful and professional, Water offered frequently, trash pick up kept cabin neat, bathrooms always clean. Passenger announcements are clear and crisp is English and Chinese.
Minus: Really, no complaints. More entertainment choices would be appreciated however is not my priority.
Plus: 1. Friendly crew and attention 2. Affordable direct flight from LAX to XMN 3. Good timing
Minus: 1. Seat cushion is too thin, resulting in painful butt after 12-14 hrs flight 2. The in-seat screen doesn't tilt, thus when front passenger reclined seat, the screen is right in front of your face (less than 5-inches). You need to crank your neck down to watch any programming which results in neck pain 3. Entertainment and food have much room to improve
Plus: Plane was new and clean. Flight crew was very friendly. Liked the mood lighting during the flight. Good selection of films to watch during the long flight.
Minus: The food was okay but they ran out of selection a couple of times so I had no choice what to eat. But that’s it nothing else I didn’t like. Really good airline.

Minus: The website I booked on and the Delta phone line on the printed ticket said that I had baggage when it turns out that I did not according to the check in staff and they made me pay.

Minus: Plane seemed a little worn, which surprised me since it was an A380. Not that old. I had purchased an upgrade to a seat with more legroom, only to find out there was no USB plug for charging my phone. All standard seats have them. Would have been nice to be warned about that.
Minus: Two hour delay meant we missed our connection. Then given a very late flight and had to haggle for ages to get earlier flight and told we should pay extra for it!

Minus: Be aware! "When customers purchase tickets they are paying for transportation for the specific class designated on their ticket and not for specific seat assignments. Seat assignments can never guarantee." This is what they emailed me when they did that to me on my pre-selected & confirmed seats!!

Plus: I paid $190 for extra legroom for an economy seat by an exit door, however the remote for the entertainment screen encroached an inch on the already VERY narrow seats - I'm six foot three and 215 pounds and both hips were in full pressing contact against the sides of the seat - TOO NARROW!

Minus: Singapore Airlines should inform clearly of the mileage policy and the lounge access while using a code-share flight. I thought I booked as a code-shared Singapore Airline flight, but I got rejected from the lounge access.

If you fly into China on China Eastern and continue with that airline for your transfer to another country, they seize your passports and keep you segregated from everyone else. Law, supposedly. Took us hours to get to our connecting flight.
