The hotel was clean connected to Mall and the staff was friendly The price was too much
service, care, location
Facilities and staff No
Best guest service. Very impressive.
People are very nice The decroation
The rooms were excellent but the view not so good even from the 17th floor. It is a Business mans hotel. The restaurant in teh lobby area was fanastic. One of the best steaks I have ever had. We booked Club rooms however the club louge was closed for 5 days. The staff in the lobby louge were not on the ball, you were waiting for at least 5 minutes before the served you.
approximately a 5 minute walk to the nearest station. convenient if taking subway. convenience store across the road. PC room near station. shopping strip close by. airport bus that takes you directly to the hotel to and from ICN airport. most taxi drivers know where the hotel is so it's easy to go back, only a few didn't know so you just told them the station name and they'd take you there. hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and great at communicating in english. would stay here again especially for the location a tad pricey
The staff, the cleanliness, the bedroom ! The swimming pool is inside The bathroom, the bath is really old !
The staff was really and very nice.
Generally ok, but there are better hotels at better rates. Rooms are extremely warm, airco is barely working. Breakfast room is a little crampy and the quality of the food is so so.
The facilities including the swimming pool and gym. All the staff, especially the temporary business unit, were very helpful and friendly and I could not fault them. I had nothing negative to say at all
The Guest Relation Officer. The check-in desk and lobby bar's service staff's attitude and poor knowledge of their chosen profession. Totally non hospitable and possess sub zero level of command of English, both in terms of spoken and comprehension.
the loby and the rest room none
good service,best room condition no
This hotel was sold as five star. By International standards it falls well short of this claim. It is not enough to have a fancy lobby (or in this case an ostentatious one) if the rooms are grubby and tired.
Hard to think of anything The hotel is billed as 5 star which following a 10 day stay I think is way off the mark. The rooms are small, the décor was very tired (wallpaper poorly patched) and there was thick dust throughout. Even the bath mats / towels are worn out. The restaurants (and bars) were excessively priced even were it a 5 star hotel. The reception staff were pretty incompetent though the concierge service was very good. Overall this is a very disappointing hotel.
Every thing was absolutely fine. The room temperature has been fixed already and was not been able to reduce it. I have asked the staff to reduce it as the weather was hot but they couldn't do it and the sent me a fan instead of fixing the AC.
The convenience to shopping and restaurants, the size and luxury of the room and the courteous staff The difficulty finding out information like where the shopping was. I asked and was directed across the road, when in fact the easiest way through to the shopping arcades was through the hotel and down some stairs - so simple, once I knew where
Great service and good location
It was ok
Friendly staff that was very accommodating. The club lounge floor was great.
Location Small room
Facilities were really nice. Fitness center, spa/sauna(for 5000 KRW), and restaurant were all excellent. Rooftop bar was also great. Room was small, but it had everything i needed- clean and comfortable. I had a very enjoyable experience at this hotel and I'd definitely go back.
1 - We had a room upgrade and it was still a minuscule room. 2 - It was 25 degrees celsius at all times in the room with no way to control this. Can't sleep comfortably at 25. 3 - They charge 15$ to use the hot tub. Why? It's there and nobody is using it because they charge.
This is the best long-term stay place in Seoul -- particularly as it is located on top of the biggest mall, near great supermarket, etc. Only stayed a week -- but it was nice to be able to store the food, snacks, and drinks -- and consume them with proper dishes, glasses, etc. Not as fancy as some other hotels, but quiet -- more kids running around.
Location is perfect. Much within walking distance, but the Seoul Metro is right outside the front entrance. Interior design of the room was wonderful, with more than adequate amenities. Complimentary shuttle service was much appreciated after a long stay. The photos and reviews set high expectations, but the experience was even better. After stays in B&Bs, corporate apartments, luxury hotels, and everything in between across Europe and the US, Park Hyatt Seoul is at the top of my list of places to stay. Be sure to try the breakfast and buffet. It isn't cheap, but it's well worth the price. Service and staff, location, cleanliness, amenities, size, and decor all get five stars. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Seoul. Only (minor) complaint is the elevator. You must go to the lobby at the top, transfer elevators, swipe your room key, then go down. Every time we left the room we would accidentally try to go down when you must go up to leave.
Staff very helpful and speak English. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Great bathroom and showers. Good location right by an airport bus stop. The only negative was that on once of the three days I was there they did not get to clean my room until after 5pm. But I left and had a drink at the bar and when I got back they were done.
good location, comfortable for business and visitors for leisure.
next to subway. direct shuttle bus from airport. helpful staff. smell from bathroom
There was a computer provided for the guests in the room that we stayed in. It's far from the subway station, the room is small based on the fact that we stayed in a club room, meaning it didn't meet my expectations since when I was in Singapore I stayed in a club room and it was way better considering that the hotel in Singapore was in the same star category.
Staff was friendly and were fluent in English (very important for international traveler). Location is great (next to subway) with lots of restaurants and coffee shops around it. Fitness center and spa is a Plus. Have free WiFi in the room and in the lobby. Rooms are a bit small but clean. Very limited English channels on TV. Breakfast not included in hotel booking. Safety box are old and I had my stuff locked out.
Location Hotel staff didn't let us early check in even tho we called and asked . First room we get was old and not nice but after we complained they changed the room and it was excellent! Nice bed nice room perfect . Location was near the station .
Quite good location, reasonable facilities for price. The club facilities were adequate rather than excellent. Club facilities not up to level of most other international hotels I have stayed at.
They always have a great staff Toilet flush was really loud
Rooms were acceptable, lounge was nice. Breakfast buffet was very good although if it was not included in the price I would never spend 33000KRW for it. Front desk staff only begrudgingly wanted to help. No wireless internet access.
The Staff was polite and is able to speak basic English. Two lightbulbs in the room were out. Had to get maintenance. No wireless internet. The bathroom was not clean.
The location is good, close to park, subway station and CoEx centre. Bathroom quite small, but overall the room is fine. Internet not free in regular rooms which is disappointing.
Staff were very cooperative; very helpful; they went out of their way to make my stay pleasant and productive; I was disappointed that the telephone service was extremely expensive; city calls of
Good location, comfortable room, very helpful staff. Breakfast was pathetic - luke warm non-asian food in breakfast buffet both times I tried it, week coffee. Although the duvet was comfortable, I think a plain sheet would be good - I kept waking up overheated multiple times during the night and needing to crank down the air conditioner. I wish I had had the ability to push aside the duvet and only have a sheet until I cooled down again. Listings of the TV channels - it would have been nice to find news (no only business news) in English.
Really liked the rooms - especially the toilets. [We westerners are not accustomed to such fancy electronic toilets - which were outstanding ... and now I want one myself in my own home. ha ha] The staff was really great, too. Very kind and helpful. I especially want to call out "Hyen" whose name I am probably not spelling correctly. She was especially kind to us. The breakfast items in the restaurant never seemed to be hot. They were good - just not hot.
Cab drivers had no issues finding the hotel Silent rooms despite fairly loud traffic outside Good proximity to Coex, subway, or city bus stop Helpful staff Beds were firm
Pool and sauna nothing to be desired.
People were excellent, they were friendly and helpful. Sufficient personnel spoke English. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Soap and shampoo is not replenished daly, you havee to call the desk or catch the housekeeper.
Helpful staff. Decently clean place. Fridge in a room. Rather modest double rooms: small, not too many accessories or furniture (1 chair per room). Better bring shampoo/conditioner/toothpaste with you - it will come at additional charge. I had a window to a noisy street without proper sound isolation. 10-12 minutes walk from nearest subway station (which is not few by Seoul standards).
