Lite rörigt i receptionen.
Fantastiskt läge nära de bästa museerna. Mycket nära till allt, bl annat till järnvägsstationen Atocha, varifrån man kan åka höghastighetståg. Nej
Nära Atoche Renfe (järnvägsstation, söderut i Spanien. Fina rum.
Carlton i Madrid.
When I checked in with my passport the girl realized it was my birthday and she congratulated me and also when I arrived to my room later I found chocolates in my door, and I thought it was a nice gesture. no
The staff were friendly and efficient. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Ours was just an overnight stay as we were catching a flight the next day. We were upgraded to a premium room which was really nice, however on entering the room you could smell it was a smoking room which we didnt want but within minutes at reception they changed our room without a problem and we still got a premium room! I needed to print something off for business which was done for me without any problem but I thought 15cents a page a bit steep pricewise, other than that, perfect!
Location: metro outside hotel, and convenient for museums, gardens and parks. Quiet and clean room; fridge. Air conditioning was a little confusing, and not very effective. Price of breakfast (though this was reduced if you pre-ordered).
location was great ideal for sight seeing easy to get to from aerport metro station right outside the door (Anton Martin) stop . Lots to done an see magic city
service: breakfast till 11.00 no water cooker; much bed, less room; airco out when absent.
The hotel staff were excellent very helpful and always had time to chat and answer any questions. They were redecorating the bar so if we wanted a drink they had to bring it out in reception
Accesibility. It was a step away from the Metro, and very close to shopping and restaurants that were pretty reasonable compared to Gran Via.
Location of the hotel was good for a day in Madrid. The room was clean. The only negitive was the safe wouldn't work.
Excel location on a main street, good crew attention, close to metro station well, rooms are small but it happens all around Europe
The poaition is great The room was small and the toilet smells
The reception and the receptionist, incredibly helpful and nice
nothing honestly rooms are too small ,no restaurent in week ends and transport is not good
Helpful staff No safe in room.
Across the road from Etosha station and Metro exits by the hotel. 10min walk into old town centre and close to central park and other big attractions. Good location. With all new hotels these days, the bedroom walls were too thin and hence woken up in the early morning by people in the corridor or next door.
The hotel staff was very friendly and kind. He speaks English well and his explanation was to the point. The Hotel location was very good. It's easy to access to Estación de Madrid-Puerta de Atocha. If we walk for 5 minutes from the Hotel, there were some restaurants. One problem was that there is no safety box in the room. The receptionist kept our passports in the reception.
a large room, location internet, the floor was a little sandy
Just 50 mtr. from Atocha high speed train (AVE).Walking distance. The WIFI access is expensive but works fine. the single rooms are too small.
The location is most convenient to the Atocha train station and the nearby Retiro Park. Also very walkable to the fabulous Museo del Prado. The rooms are very small and worse, the ventilation system is terrible. We were there in between seasons (no heat and no air-conditioning). The room was miserably hot and when we complained, the staff replied "the whole hotel is hot."
The best point of this hotel is its location, across the street from the train station. This was very convenient, and I was also able to walk to some interesting plazas and places to eat. The room is very small. It served my needs well traveling alone, but would have been very tight with more than one person in it.
The hotel is overpriced for it's location and the type of room I was given. The room was tiny and had no natural sunlight. As well, the morning when I checked out, the front desk person was rude and seemed extremely anxious/nervous.
Even if there are many better location hotels around this area, location could be their strength if you want to visit museum or other area of city to take a day trip departure at atocha station. The quality of staffs is suspecious, room was not deserving fair enough space.
The location is fantastic and it is fun to visit the restaurant and enjoy watching the local folks. Our room faced the main avenue that runs past the Prado and was amazingly quiet. It was the best night sleep we've ever had in lively Madrid. The hotel staff could be a little more proactive in dealing with customers questions.
location of the hotel is good. Very close to the Prado museum and Parque del retiro. 500 meter to Atocha train station where you can take high speed (and normal) trains to other Spanish destinations. Also, if you don't arrive too late or too early you can take the airport express bus to Atocha station. Is however on a 2x4 lane street but it has 2 windows, 1 with 'single' glass and another one with double glass so it keeps the sound from outside away (however the inside sounds are passed on rather easily...). Hotel has free wireless internet. doors are with key cards. no mini bar, though it does have a hair dryer. the hotel does not offer breakfast though reception is connected with a small restaurant next door where you would be able to eat something. there are other places around as well where you can get breakfast. food is ok but not spectacular.
Location, Staff, price Air conditioning noisy
Great location for visiting the big three Madrid art museums and near the railroad station. Some rude behavior by a few staff members, especially one evening waiter in the restaurant.
Very central, clean, easy Small room, could not turn of the radiator which was very hot during the nights
We chose it only for its proximity to the Prado and it was great to be right across the Paseo. It was our first hotel in Spain and therefore the room seemed quite small, but not unusually so judging by most hotels we stayed in afterward.
The staff was very professional and extremely helpful. They made a show reservation and advised on special cab arrangements to the airport. Each person was helpful when asked but were not overly pushy. The rooms were very comfortable and provided the essential needs. Very convenient to museums, parks, bus/cab service, train station and easy walk to various plazas/restaurants. Lack of some artwork/pictures in rooms. Ice machine in hotel.
Well-located. Internet access. Quiet, despite location on a busy road. Cheap for a city hotel. My room stank of stale cigarette smoke. The cafeteria was closed for the week, meaning that there was no food available in the hotel, but there had been nothing on the website warning of this. Staff were surly at times and not particularly welcoming.
Great location in Madrid. Close to train station,Prado, downtown Madrid. Easy walking around area. Restaurant was very good and convenient.
Fantastic location and price. Friendly staff and private rooms available . Free wifi for multiple devices Small, old and outdated building. Minimal amenities. Noisy (You can hear everything all around your room). But it's clean and staff is friendly. You really don't need much more if you will be out all day in the city.
The location is probably the only benefit. Everything else was bleak. I already don't like Madrid. I love Spain but Madrid is just unpleasant. This is only my opinion based on my experiences. I really hoped Hostel Buelta would change that. This was part of my exit strategy before I headed back to America. The nearby parking was €24,00 for about 12hrs on a Sunday night. I paid the same in Lisbon on a weekend for nearly 48 hrs. The hostel itself was just run down and bleak. It had no comforts. Simply a place to wash and sleep. Not worth the price. There are nicer places in the area.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was cute and clean and had all the necessary amenities. Simple, but sufficient. The location is so convenient to everything in Madrid! There was no AC but the fan was loud, so that made it a bit difficult to sleep in the hot weather at the beginning of September, although I can't imagine that's a problem most of the year. Also it would not be very accessible to anyone in a wheelchair, because although there is an elevator, there are still six or eight steps down to the hallway from where the elevator was located, at least on my floor.
Location is very good. Very nice staff Room was very noisy so any sounds from the road will wake you up. Next to a club. Only 1 plug point in the room so hard to run both thd fan and charge mobile ANC laptop. Spring bed will sink from knd side. You can't sleep for long or sit.
Hotel is conveniently located close to the Atocha trains station. Easy access to Madrid's metro system, just around the corner. Several restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores in the surrounding area. Great place to go and re-charge for the next day...................
The hotel is in an amazing locations. Close to lots of attractions and fun things to do. The room was very clean and have a cool vibe. Very spacious and lots of amenities. The desk attendant forgot to give me my passport back - I felt a little weird about that.
Personable Service and a very quiet room in a convenient location!!! Nothing. It was perfect!
This hotel is absolutely lovely. When you book online, you are never positive what the hotel will actually be like when you arrive. We stayed in one of the attic rooms and it was very charming and lovely. Staff was INCREDIBLE!! Highly recommend to all No!
Friendly front desk service, modern rooms, good location.
