The airline ran late and I almost missed this connecting flight to LGW. The airline didn't act very sympathetic to my situation. I wished that didn't happen as my experience I'm sure would've been much different.

Many of us had a connecting flight with Air Baltic from Riga to Helsinki- which we asked if they will wait for us, the crew member said because the flight was also with Air Baltic, they will wait for us. We got there 10 minutes before take off, and the gate has already closed. Furthermore, we got to the Air Baltic counter, we were given 5Euro meal vouchers even though we will be staying at the Riga airport for 9 hours. Also they gave us terrible customer service attitude, which we definitely do not deserve after being delayed, and causing so much trouble on their behalf. Definitely do not recommend flying with Air Baltic again. I've never been this angry with any air line."

We were told we could check in online but we only had 4 minute in which to do it. We were charged €150 for 5 people. The check in Sgent was sour faced as well. Once aboard the plane (a nice new aircraft) we found the stewardesses sour faced as well. Overall not impressed by air Baltic!"

The only solution that they can offer me was to travel from Riga to Moscow and than to Tel Aviv. It become 12 hours traveling across 4 countries ( we arrived form Stockholm) instead of 5 hours flight as it was supposed to! I'm not recommending to travel with that company it can not be trusted!"

First they said it was problems in Amsterdam, then problems with the plane, then traffic in Amsterdam. It was hard to tell what was true and what was avoiding penalties (it is possible that equipment issues caused them to lose their spot, and get caught in traffic delays). I hate that they charge 2.5 euros for water on the flight. Their carryon rules only allow us to take the smallest of bags (smaller than other airlines) but when I got on the plane, lots of people had medium sized carryons."

Minus: "For people who have Airbaltic as a connecting flight this might be very inconvenient. We paid 40 Eur/person each way for our luggage . That brings the price that you pay so much higher than you expect at first. Also if you don't print boarding pass ahead of time which we didn't (plus still needed to drop off checked luggage and check our passports) they want to charge you 30 Eur a person to print that drinking piece of paper. If you don't want to pay that get out of the line with all of you luggage, go to kiosk and print it, then come back to the line. But that's companies rules , employees just have to follow it. Another problem was their attitude. The guy who got our luggage was so weird. Showing off and talking to us like a boss. After giving us boarding passes he said we can go to the screen and look up the gate ourselves. I never write long reviews but man! they got me mad that day. Never say never - but I don't want to fly with this airline again"

I decided to get to the counter and the person charged me US$ 35 euros only for checking me in (even though their app had problems to check in). In addition to all that, my luggage did not arrive to the final destination and was lost for an entire week. Every time I called the airline, they were charging me per minute even though they were the ones who lost my suitcase."

The second plane was so old that It was very difficult to open the overhead storage compartments. Both planes rocked side to side during takeoff and landing. I couldn't figure out how to check baggage online through Kayak, and it cost €40 at the airport. It got me where I needs to go, but with the baggage fees, it turned out to be about the same price as other airlines, and I wouldn't recommend the planes for people with any flying anxiety."

Flight was late for 45min. Since it was late nobody cleaned it inside.

Mat delas inte ut på Ryanair så det bör finnas ett alternativ för detta i frågeställningen. Värsta med ryanair är väl egentligen merkostnaderna som uppstår. Jag ska resa med 2 barn. gratis incheckningen öppnar någon timme innan flyget. Alternativen jag har är att betala för tidig incheck och val av platser eller köra på gratis incheck och få slumpmässigt valda platser. Chanserna att jag får sitta med mina små pojkar är ganska slim. Att resa ensam är inga problem men med sällskap bör man välja bort Ryanair

Två timmar försenat flyg, besättningen var arga

pga av en av våra resenärer var under 17 kunde hon inte checka in via nätet och när vi kom till flygplatsen måste vi betala för att få boarding kort, dåligt!!! Mycket försenat flyg och en person vid gaten, dåligt !!!

I mean, it's a Ryanair flight, so you know what you're going to get: Ads during the flight for, I'm not even sure what, raffle tickets? Paid food and drink options. Basic seats that don't recline. But also, friendly staff and inexpensive fairs. I know the bargain I'm making with Ryanair and it works for me.

They really do what ever in their power to sqweeze out every euro they can. First the website had tagged my son incorrectly as an adult, and in that denying me the ability to check him in with his proper DOB. So we tought we could check in at the counter, we where there more than 2h before the flight but we came to the counter 1h and 59 min before the flight. The attendand then informed us that we where 1 min late and that she would require us to pay 30€ each to check in. If I hadn't disputed this with the service desk it would have cost us 120€ extra! I won´t be flying with Ryan Air again.

Otroligt dålig flygbolag , dolda avgifter man var tvungen att betala på flygplatsen och väldigt osmidig ombordstigning. Rekommenderar verkligen inte ryanair

Beställningen av bagage online är vilseledande så jag hade tydligen bara beställt incheckad väska åt ena hållet och fick därför betala 400 kr för att ta hem den. Detta hände flera passagerare som var arga och jag undrar om ni sätter detta i system för att tjäna mer. Jag reste med Ryan Air för ett par år sedan och lovade mig själv aldrig mer, men ville gärna ge det en chans till men nu vet jag definitivt att jag aldrig reser med er igen och skall dessutom varna alla för detta och inte blir det billigare heller med alla extrakostnader som ni tar ut. Fy för uselt flygbolag!!"
Minus: "The seat space was cramped, I paid extra to reserve my seat but it doesn't do you any favours. The aeroplane was old and needed modernisation. It was lacking in basics like netting/storage on the back of the seat Infront. Budget airline is a budget airline I guess."

Minus: "Långsam ombordstigning. Matbrickorna lutade så min dryck föll ner på mig. Fick ej glas till drycken. Drycken var ej väl kyld. Personalen gick in i mig med både armbågar och serveringsvagn När jag råkat somna lite mot gången."
Plus: "The crew at the airport were clued up and took action when they knew the flight was going to be delayed. They ensured everyone was checked in for the flight and boardring passes checked before gathering everyone in the correct groups so we could board quickly. Pilot got us there ahead of schedule!"

Minus: "Checking in online was a nightmare as the site kept freezing, there was a mix up with my priority and cabin baggage, I was told by the webchat team that this had gone through but not on my boarding pass, when I got the the airport the Ryanair staff were extremely rude to us, they sent us to the back of the queue I front of everyone and then told us we would have to pay to take our bags with us, they then had to be out on the hold. When we got back to Birmingham we then had to sit on the plane for around 15 minutes as there was not a slot for us. I spent hours of my 2 day break trying to sort check ins etc, I would never fly with Ryanair again."

Minus: "Ryan Air have changed their online check in system with flights.Basically i was forced to pay for a seat spot on my return flight because they only allow 48 hour check in before flight if you dont purchase a seat. Because of the risk of not having access to print out my boarding pass when in Hungary while checking in there for the return part and that the app may not have worked on my phone it resulted in me paying additional fees or pay a larger sum to check in at Hungary airport. .Online check in should not be locked behind a paywell.This is dishonest business. The flight on the way delayed with no explanation and the company didnt bother to notify the airport of this and update the times on the boards or atleast a delayed notification at the airport. They tried to rush the boarding because of the fact they were delayed and boarded all passengers at same time in both priority and non priority queues which kind of defeats part of the purpose of those people paying the extra for priority boarding. Also this return journey of the flight was delayed too with no communication of a delayed take off. Despite the fact that Ryan Air claim to have the highest percentage of flights arrive on time i have yet to witness a single flight of theirs arrive on time which has me to believe the company is falsifying information on this record."
