Minus: "There were a few small things that could have been better (Which I'll mention), but the worst thing about the flight was the airport. Ataturk Airport is a mess. After the attempted coup, they really upped security, forcing all international flights to go through a second security screening after transferring from another airport. It's understandable but the line moved at a molasses-like speed when I had only 25 minutes to make my connecting flight. The security personnel were rude, as well. Also, when I went to make my connecting gate in Cairo, there was no one at the gate after the required boarding time (Because security had held us up), forcing some of us to board the plane without having anyone to show us onto the plane (Very scary). The flight boarding was chaotic, and no announcements were made about what we were supposed to do. Besides the lack of boarding gates, the only other serious complaint I had against Turkish Airlines (Because it really was great overall) was that the pilots and flight attendants were very hard to understand. I have taught ESL for the past 5 years, and I still had a hard time as an American understanding their English. Also, they frequently didn't understand or misunderstood questions that I would ask them. I've never had a hard time understanding flight attendants on an international flight, but I only understood about 20% of what anyone said over the loud speaker in the plane. And it's nice to be able to understand when the pilot says, "We are experiencing some turbulence and would like everyone to buckle their seatbelts until it passes." Two small things remain: 1. The bathroom trash cans were full on every flight (A small thing but makes everything feel "trashy"). 2. The flight attendants seemed unhappy, and they definitely seemed unhappy to be serving us. I can only assume they are that way because they aren't treated particularly well by their bosses."

When we got to the airport, we tried to check in at the Lufthansa kiosk and check in line, but they told us we had to go to the Air Canada area. The ticketing/check in process was very confusing. As for the food, the chicken "wrap" was not a wrap, and was a weird Hot-Pocket type meal. After each meal, we ended up having to hold our garbage for quite some time which made manuvering in and out of seats a little tricky. I wish the seat cushion had a little more cushion since we were sitting for so long. Also at some point the overhead lights came on and stayed on, which was annoying if you were trying to nap."

She told me if i want a upgrade, witch I refuse to get and didn't help me in any way with the problem that i had. I think for cases like this even though it's an economy seat it still cost 750$ and for a 9h flight witch transformed in a 14h flight because weather condition and fueling problems, flight attendants should be more mindful with the guest confort rather than upselling. Lufthansa it's a geat company with great airplanes but i think that in order to get people to come back you should treat people in the economy class like normal people that pay a price nothing close to the word economy"
Minus: "This airline has little respect for its customers. In the economy/coach cabin, they squeeze the seat distances to such an extent that, when the person in front of you leans their chair back, you cannot get out of your seat at an upright angle. You have to significantly bend your body. To not loose your balance, you have to grab on to the seat in front of you and that disturbs the other passenger. If they're sleeping, they can be woken up by that. Lufthansa does not care much for its passengers. Nor do many other companies, for that matter, but I think Lufthansa is taking things further than most airlines. It is a disgrace. Their brand is not what it once was."

When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

Minus: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."
Plus: "The gentleman at the check out his name was Omar went over and above the call of duty for Customer Service me being an American he walked me through each step of using flybe via air France and paying for checking my bags and even the carry on luggage and getting me through security etc."

Minus: "It is very difficult to get around CDG airport with a disabled person. There is no shuttle. By the time we got to check in, we were ten minutes late. They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."

Plus: "The flight had a delayed of 2 hours due a system issue, but the flight was comfortable, and the airplane was clean."
Minus: "I didn't like the check in, the personnel there were not so friendly and had discrepancies. We were a group of 6, and 2 of us were able to drop the bag in the check in. But the others were told that needed to wait 30 mins."

The food was just okay and the cabin crew refused to serve extra butter. When you are serving extra bread, make sure you serve the butter as well. How could someone eat bread by itself?"

I booked the flight and then they canceled it, i tried changing the dates but the website was giving me an error so i called them, after being on the phone for 2 hr some guy answered who seemed very tired and not thrilled working for LOT. Rood and not helpful, told me to try FB messenger and online changing again. Failed to get a voucher, refund or change the dates online, was still getting an error. on messenger they answered and told me i can get a voucher, i told them i don't want it and after that they stopped replying all together. good thing i got my money back by filing a dispute with my credit cart company."

This was my first time flying with LOT and so far so good. I think the flights from WAW are delayed bcz of the other flights coming into WAW are delyed and since there are only one international flight a day they wait for these flights to arrive so they can take off. This is what happened in my case. The crew was very nice. I traveled with two small children and they were very helpful. I would def flight with LOT again"

I had heard so many negative things about LOT Airlines, but I loved the cabin crew who were extremely courteous, and the food served was pretty good (dinner and breakfast since it was an overnight flight). The entertainment was pretty good as well; they even had some Oscar nominations like Dunkirk and Shape of Water available to watch. Overall, I was very pleased with my flight experience."
Minus: "The only thing that I was not a fan of, but which didn't bother me that much/didn't affect me that much, was that we departed from JFK in NYC *an hour late* because we boarded so late. For some people, this caused an issue with their connection in Warsaw, but for me, I luckily had a four hour layover. Still, an hour is pretty bad in terms of departure."

Minus: "NYC to Warsaw, the flight was 4 hours late no voucher for food. some got it some not. i lost the flight from Warsaw to Bucharest they put me on flight from Warsaw to Vienna that flight was late as well i got to Vienna and i ran to get the flight to Bucharest. i was very tired"

Minus: "When checking in we were told to stand in a long line to drop our bag after getting our boarding passes from a machine. After standing in line for 30 minutes the woman at the counter said we were in the wrong line and was extremely rude as if we were stupid for not being able to follow the Polish signage. We had simply stood in the line we were directed to. Counter clerks not very pleasant compared with other airlines!"

Minus: "I flew in Premium, but I had to call the airline to have the seat assigned. I could not choose the seat online although the website said I could choose a seat ahead of time. The only way to see the arrangement of seats was through seatguru.com. The best seats for the Premium Class are 4A, 4B and 4F and 4G, which are the first row in Premium. The rest of them have legs or boxes under the seat in front of you, so there is really now way you can stretch your legs fully under the seat in front of you during the flight. I was able to secure 4G for my return flight from Warsaw, but going to Warsaw from O'Hare I was put into 6B, no proper room for the right leg. They did not let us use the Business Class bathroom, which was much closer. We had to go all the way to the bathroom behind the row 19. Very inconvenient. They allow dogs in the Premium cabin, so if you are allergic to dogs brace yourself. I fly LOT only when I have no other option."
Plus: "The 787 Dreamliner was nice, and the business class seats are roomy. And the ticket was priced right!"
Minus: "They lost my luggage in the outbound direction and no-one appeared to care. When I called the number that they provided frequently no-one answered. Even when I finally got through, no-one could provide me ANY information as to the whereabouts of my bag. It finally showed up on the last day of my stay, but it was delivered to another hotel (which I only figured out after about 10 phone calls). Also, they offer perhaps the worst in-flight video selection I have ever seen."
Plus: "The crew was helpful and friendly. On this flight we had a delicious meal, snacks, drinks, refreshing towels. What an great experience after flying in the US where all these services have disappeared for bottom line profits."
