Sitter man här i Prague utan ombyte och vinterjacka som checkades in med väskan eftersom man blev ombed at på grund av fullsatt plan checka in sitt handbagage vid gaten innan man skulle kliva ombord. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

The only thing I didn't like was the timing of the flight. Because my starting point was from somewhere other than Chicago, this made for a very long and tiring trip. I wouldn't recommend this flight for people flying from places other than Chicago."

It is very important to know since turn around time is very short, and I almost missed flight 8 years ago, and bags did miss it last time. Tks"

Food was excellent but there was a charge for red wine. This is Europe. Thought the US was bad... Economy class comfort is not that comfortable as always... o well! Your staff English especially the women announcers were terrible. We could not understand hardly anything. The pilots were a lot better! Need to take English classes.. Sorry but have to be honest..."

Plus: "good service in spite of rather crammed conditions and short flight, UK newspaper was available, plenty of leg room (biz class consisting of one row in the front:))) - the lucky 4 in that 1st row were the only ones to get food, and also drink for free, it seems... and yes, the flight was short and otherwise uneventful, I was the 1st to walk off the plane."
Minus: "The plane was a tiny oldish commuter jet with 2 seats on each side of the aisle. In "biz class" you still had to rub elbows with your neighbor, something other airlines with newer planes have sorted out, but allowing extra space between seats.... but overall, for a short flight (not much longer than an average subway commute in NYC), it really was not a huge deal...."

Finnair counter, Hannele politely double-checked all's well, handed me boarding pass. Hannele told to buy extra baggage online being cheaper. This promise, not accurate. Absurd!"

Avoid Helsinki airport like the plague for stopovers: bad signage, woeful information how to get to the city efficiently in English. HORRIBLE experience when trying to get lost property: you got to PAY for your initial email or pay top dollar just for a stupid and aggravating phone call!!! The number of exclamation marks is not exaggerated here. You can't even ask if they even have the item in their possession. Rarely had such a bad experience at an airport, and I travel a lot for work. This alone makes me think thrice about EVER getting Finnair again. Same company that manages the airport, so I'm giving this flight a bad review."

Minus: "Nothing made me uncomfortable except for the concern about stealers in most of Europe . I didn't experience it yet but tons of times I've heard about stories of tourists ."
Plus: "I loved the service. The flight attendants were attentive and courteous. They walked through the cabin periodically to offer water in the 6 hours or so between meal services, and also had self-service drinks and snacks in the galley during that time. Flight attendants asked passengers to put their seats forward during meal times, which very few airlines do. It was the same level of service I have come to expect from the Asian carriers that I usually fly (ANA, Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore). The meals were fine, and so was the entertainment. There was a decent choice of movies."
Minus: "The economy seats were narrow and cramped on the A340. I was in the first row of economy that wasn't premium economy. Even though the person in front of me had loads more legroom than me, he had his seat all the way back for almost the entire flight and hit me in the head while I was reaching for my bag under the seat in front of me. In order to get to anything in my bag, I had to put my head into the aisle because there wasn't enough room to bend down. Because of the angle of the seats, it was nearly impossible to get into and out of the row (and I was on the aisle)."
Minus: "I missed my flight from Chicago to Paris. Because I purchased it through Kayak instead of directly through Finnair or American Airlines, their 'hands were tied' and they could not reroute nor reschedule me. Not only that, but because I was not on the flight to Paris, my returning flights were automatically cancelled. While this is probably included in the fine print etc., I find it ridiculous. There should be a better alternative for people who miss their flights than forcing them to pay a lump sum that is higher than the original ticket price in order to reschedule their ticket. Moral of the story: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY THROUGH KAYAK OR SIMILAR AGENCIES, BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS."

Plus: "Blueberry juice - nice change for sodas and so refreshing! The lady captain's announcements were very clear, light and fun...and perfect in three different languages...her enjoyment came across professionally...truly catering to her passengers. She flew that plane also so very smoothly!"

The bottom line - do not fly Norwegian Airlines..."

Flight is twenty hours away and since my wife has a Thai passport we are stranded inside of the terminal for the entire time. Airline didn't help with this issue. Also, $260 for two underweight checked bags is ridiculous. No help finding gates at confusing arlanda."

When I called for assistance in rebooking the connecting flight they told me all other flights were full and I would either have to find another airline and book connecting flight on my own or wait 4 days until they had an available connecting flight. Since my tours and accommodations were already booked I had to cancel my Norwegian flight and rebook a new last minute flight at much greater cost. Norwegian gave no reason for the delay and insufficient service on getting me to my final destination,"

They didn't give us our boarding pass, we missed our flight, they made us purchase a completely different route for an outrages price, or new flight was delayed for 3 hours, they made us miss all of our connecting flights, they didn't have new boarding passes ready when we arrived late, they made us go through customs and re-check-in just to get on a connecting flight, they charged our card without or consent, and they charged us an international fee even we made all our purchases online. Stay clear!!!"
