Flyg till Amsterdam landar på Amsterdam Schiphol Airport som är mycket lättnavigerad och dessutom ligger nära stadens centrum. Om du bokat hotell för din vistelse kan du därför snabbt ta dig till ditt boende om du bor centralt. It was not efficient and I felt like a burden asking for help when there was nothing else I could do on my own."
Plus: "The time of the flight was great as well as the arrival time and subsequent connections to Paris. Enjoyed the rather full line of in flight beverages!"
Minus: "Leaving late seemingly without reason from Paris - chaotic boarding line in Paris with difficult to hear PA. Seats were ok'ish but than again, it's a 45 minute flight. The sandwich was gross and I'm somewhat known as a person who eats everything!"

Bush league airline; not what it used to be."

Minus: "The check in agents with Iberia airlines in Porto were rude, the. told me only when I arrived that I could not carry on “camping backpacks”, so I would have to check it for an additional 40 euro to check it.. despite saying they’d be happy to check “carry on” free of charge.. I’ve never had a problem with my backpack before, and it fits well within the size restrictions and easily fits in the overhead.. then they were unable to transfer my bag that I payed 40 euro to check, to my connecting flight. Therefore I had to wait two days to receive my luggage at my final destination in Rome.. Overall a really mediocre and frustrating experience."

Moreover, we were loaded onto the plane from both ends, irrespective of our seats, so there was mass confusion as two sets of passengers were crossing over each other, looking for seats. Using hand signals to communicate, as it was an international flight with passengers speaking several languages. The crew stood at the entrances to the plane, watching."

I will definitely be flying with them again!"

Minus: "had a booked flight from madrid to gatwick, london and connection the next day at 11 am to Tampa US. We were at the airport at 1500. Flight was supposed to board at 1820 and leave at 1850. When checking the board, the flight's boarding was anticipated to 1810. We were at the gate at 1815 and there was an electronic sign signaling "boarding". However there was no personal, no line of waiting passengers and no plane. Upon checking we were told that the plane had already left. (this was at 1828). The only way to make our connection in london was a flight to Heathrow later with BA. Then we had to get a taxi to get to gatwick. Will never fly Iberia again."

Minus: "Iberia's flight was late in arriving at the gate in Madrid, and our flight was delayed by 45 minutes (for a one hour flight!). When I arrived at my destination, all the local people (Lekeitio, Bizkaia, Spain) agreed that Iberia is a national disgrace- everyone has had bad experiences flying with them. We have purchased a little apartment in Lekeitio, so we will be traveling frequently, but I will never fly Iberia again."

While the plane and crew were great, between Madrid andBoston we were severely bitten by bugs - probably a kind of gnat. I was bitten on the face and arms and my wife was bitten on the face and neck. We are still covered. This has caused us much discomfort (including welts) well as cost to ensure these bugs did not come home with us."
