I flew business class. But nothing compare to business class. Lounge closed in Vienna. Not exist at all in Tel Aviv. Priority boarding not exist in Tel Aviv despite available business counter. Nobody in front of me was checked in to Business or with Senator status. No welcome drinks. All overall awful experience.

About Covid. The thing is that you cannot submit it unless you as a passenger fill out an Austrian address. The electronic form does not have the option to rule out staying in Austria and indicating that you are transiting in Vienna. I had to fill that form out (at the Address in Austria section) with sentences like “not applicable” “transitting” and also had to google the Vienna Airport address for the zip code so it could be submitted. The form forced me to fool the it. Not cool. Frustrating."

On the way from Stockholm to Milan, our tickets indicated business class-but we were seated in regular seats, separated, and no one even tried to accommodate us. My wife has neck and low back conditions that she needs to have extra space but we were completely disregarded. This is unacceptable

Two hour delay with no compensation
Very cramped and claustrophobic Staff spoke no English and tv choice was not In English Pilot and staff spoke no English and as a lone traveller I felt quite vulnerable as no emergency procedures or facilities were explained is bathroom emergency exit
I missed two connections because the flights were late. I was given a substitute itinerary that had more layovers in different cities, one of which was Oslo, which is quite possibly the worst airport I’ve ever experienced. I arrived to my destination 3 hours later than expected, which made my taxi ride to my hotel more expensive because of traffic. And then to top it all off, they misplaced my luggage. And as I watch it move through their system because of an AirTag placed in my suitcase, it’s quite clear that they are in no hurry to get it to my hotel.

Kayak offered terrible service, and was unwilling to come up with better alternatives to fix their mistake. Don't choose KAYAK, if the airline cancels the flight, KAYAK only makes effort to avoid any accountability.

Check in was a disaster. We had to check in to each leg separately - and had to figure that out on our own. Buying a FinnAir marketed flight created a nightmare.
Jag upplever att de gånger jag flugit Göteborg-Helsingfors, Helsingfors-Göteborg är det ofta förseningar. Har flugit ca 10 gånger feb-maj
Ända bättring skulle vara att kunna ge rätt gate på bordningen vid byte i Helsingfors ( var fel/ ändrat) både gånger 😉😊 (kanske inget med er att göra…) Annars jätte nöjd med alla fyra flyg med Finnair, trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

En av de bästa långresorna jag gjort fantastisk personal åker oftast 2-3 långresor per år och finnair delar första platsen med Emirates. Bra med slopad starksprit inget stök.
Twice I called to see if A meal was served on the 1st class flight and was told no. So no gluten free meal for my wife and we purchased meals to carry on with us. Annoyed.
Flight were delayed which made me miss all the other flights. Bags are still missing from 2 weeks ago. This airline is worse the Spirit Airlines!

The food was excellent. It was interesting that the flight from Helsinki to Chicago served a Indian style dinner comprising of lentils, rice and chickpeas. I liked that too, though I prefer the meditarranean fare. I liked the boarding as they were very strict about families with children and gave them priority before other passengers."
Minus: "I did not find too many indian films which I would have liked, especially in a flight because Indian movies are 3 hours long and help to pass the time quickly :). I would have liked more variety in the Hollywood movies as well. They mostly had much older films and hardly any of the new releases while Emirates flight had lot many more new releases and oscar winning movies. They served the Indian amul cheese which is not worthy of serving on a flight, and they could have served some better cheese."

My wife ate two bread rolls for dinner before the next meal 7 hours later. Later, when the second meal was served, he muttered a smart assed reply to my wife after he handed her food to her. After that meal service he offered everyone coffee except us."

Minus: "did not get to Helsinki in first place; flight from Warsaw to Helsinki canceled by Finnair (# 742) put in another plane, from other provider (LOT) going straight to Chicago; was not ready for it; we arrived at airport 2 hr before time of boarding and were rushed to plane going up in 45 min; very stressful; my daughter cried and we had no time to say good bays to family paid for selected seats - money not returned selected special meal - stayed hungry (8 hr fly) because they were not aware about our special needs; Finnair shold take care of it when canceling flight and putting us with other provider."

Minus: "Being vegetarian I chose the pasta entree. It was good. It included a small salad. All other food was carbs- bread, crackers, a packaged dessert, ice cream, pizza, muffin. ( The pizza was good the muffin was processed gross. ) I didn't eat all the items and still felt yucky from poor nutrition. A piece of fruit in place of muffin, dessert, crackers would help a lot."

She would ask someone a question and obviously they can’t hear her because their watching a movie, so she would wave her hand in their face. Another time she was telling me “excuse me” in German while I was watching a movie. I thought she was speaking to someone else since I did not understand German and then she very rudely said “excuseee me”. The food was not filling and they charged for drinks. She also said I was only allowed one free drink of coffee. The second snack was a cake or cheese sandwhich. We were starving the entire flight we had to give in and pay for snacks on board. I’ll try to avoid eurowings from now on."

Minus: "The flight was delayed. Then, after flying to Berlin, the staff said we couldn't land there because of weather. They decided to fly us to Leipzig-Halle (another city a two hour drive away) and said they would provide busses to take us back to Berlin. But then, when we got to Leipzig, they said oh we might be able to fly you back to Berlin, just let us refuel. So we all sat in the plane for an hour and a half while they did that. Then, they announced that they couldn't go back to the Berlin airport because there were too many planes landing there. So they told us to get off the plane, go into the arrival hall and we would get more information there. When we got out of the plane, we were greeted by an information lady who informed us that no trains were running at that hour (it was about 11:30pm), and Eurowings would not provide us with accommodation or transportation back to Berlin. The information staff told us that our options were to personally pay for either a taxi back to Leipzig (two hours away!) or rent a car, or wait until morning to take a bus or train. I was able to stay with a friend in the city, and paid to take a bus to Berlin the next day, but what about everyone else who didn't know people in Leipzig and had to fend for themselves? As a young woman traveling by myself in a foreign country, landing in an unexpected city in the middle of the night, it could have been a potentially dangerous situation. I am extremely frustrated with Eurowings. I paid them to take me to Berlin, and they didn't. I talked to customer service on the phone, and they told me that I should make my own travel plans to return to Berlin and they would reimburse me later. Aside from the fact that there weren't buses, trains or flights running till the next morning - I shouldn't have to make my own travel plans! My plans were to fly Eurowings from Duesseldorf to Tegel, and they should be responsible for getting me there. I am never flying Eurowings again, and sharing the story with any friends who travel in Europe. They absolutely do not care about their customers."

Minus: "The security in Düsseldorf for American citizen was very nusty. They stop everywhere ask allot of non sense questions and check your bags twice! That was a real torture for no reason!"
Minus: "The entire process to get on a bus to go to flight was delayed by over 15 minutes so the ticket agent could fix one person's flight. There were over 40 people waiting to board the bus. Terrible."
