No staff or facility at Copenhagen airport to print boarding pass for transfer passengers until gate agents finally arrived."

Minus: "Even though I paid the fifty pounds for extra bag and "nice and tasty" food they didn't bring it as they said it was not on my ticket. When I asked where my food was, long after everyone had been fed, they brought me what was left over. A spaghetti and chicken which was warm and not "tasty" and I do not normally eat chicken. It was the only thing left. For the breakfast snack they also forget me until I asked again. The the "nice and tasty" meal was very sad and disappointing. And when I have travelled with Norwegian before the meal and entertainment were excellent. Also when I arrived in Barcelona "transit" to Newark there was no one advising up where to go! They dropped us en mass at the immigration which was huge and packed with long, long lines. When I asked people in uniform where transit was they told me I had to go through immigration! An hour later when I went to the immigration booth, the officer took me directly upstairs to another security check and then I was told to wait in an area and my flight would be called. Nothing. And when I went to the flight they said my bags were unloaded! All the Norwegian offices and checkin were closed for the night. My phone would not work there and finally I found wifi and called Norwegian in London, They gave me numbers and company names to call. But there no one to be found or connected to. At seven o'clock the next morning when Norwegian opened I was able to be put on the next flight on Sunday, two days later. A terrible transit like I have never experienced before."

Minus: "I was traveling with my brother and sister and for some reason their flight didn't include free checked bags. Once they checked in at one counter they were sent to another counter to pay for their bags. I had to wait with them in line for 45 minutes just to pay for two bags. Then we had to go back to the other counter to show that we paid for their bags. We are lucky we made our flight! I also don't know why my ticket included two checked bags and their tickets did not when we paid for them the same way."

Minus: "After boarding we waited an hour in the plane to begin our flight and once we landed it took three more hours to find an open gate. In those three hours most of it the lights were off and the pilot/crew just didn't explain to anyone why we were waiting and when they finally told us how much longer we would have to wait (after an hour had past) we were told twenty minutes only to wait an hour for another updated time of ten minutes only to wait another fifty. Then once off the plane I found out they sent my checked bag with all my clothing in it to Norway instead of NYC."

They also didn't recline, which was dreadful on a 7-hour flight. The staff was rude and inattentive, and only brought food and beverages to a handful of people who were perhaps members of some program or another. They wouldn't even give you coffee or water, on a TranbsAtlantic flight! You could only get a glass of water by paying $3 or $4 on your touch screen. The staff was all Indonesian or Filipino, meaning they've hired them to skirt labor laws and pay levels, and every single one of them was grim and unhappy. It was uncomfortable and depressing, and all this bragging about the new y8y Dreamliner airplane was just revolting. Worst airplane and worst staff and worst policies I've even encountered, and I've been to 85 countries, I'm a seasoned traveler. Never again with Norwegian. Never."

Minus: "The women working the check in counter at JFK were some of the most unhelpful customer service representatives I've ever dealt with. Upon arriving at the counter I was told I would have to pay $130 for my 21in bag to fly one way. When I asked why that was the woman just stated that I did not pre-check my bags and this was Norwegian's policy. Being that I had a 2 HOUR layover with the same airline I had to pay for my bag to be checked into 2 seperate flights. I asked if it would be the same policy for me to return home and the woman simply stated that she did not know, she does not work for Norwegian. Why on Earth would you have people that do not work for Norwegian answering questions at the Norwegian check in counter?! I asked how much the bag would be to come back, once again "I don't know but you can look it up online". So then I asked if I'm expected to pay around $200 for a 21 inch bag that would be considered a carry-on on any other airline and she just stared at me - I guess she knew the answer to that question huh? My suggestion would be to hire people to work the check in counters that actually know how to answer questions customers are asking because there is nothing more frustrating than having a representative dumbly stare back at you or tell you to look it up for yourself."
Plus: "Norwegian are very proud of their in flight entertainment system - however, this is the 8th flight I have taken with them in 3 years, and the 7th time there has been no wifi. Don't promote it if it doesn't exist!!"

The front plane door wouldn't open and we had to use the rear door so sitting near the front meant we were the last off and even further delayed. Many people struggled to understand the female flight attendent on the PA as her English was fairly poor. In flight snacks and drinks propbably the most expensive in all the budget airlines we have used."
Plus: "Norwegian is always a great value. Had a slight delay but they handled it well and we weren't that late. Nicest employees and easiest customer experience."
Minus: "Not a single Norwegian flight departed as scheduled. They were late every time. This caused us to miss our connection. They in turn would not put us on a different flight with a different airline so that we could make a second connection in London. I eventually bought tickets out of pocket through British Airways. Norwegian said I should look to Trip Insurance for help and not their administration."
Plus: "I am a seasoned traveler. From reservation to check-in, this was a refreshing experience. The Boeing Dreamliner lives up to it name under this airline banner! Bravo to the service innovators and personnel."

Minus: "There are no queues. A free for all to load and unload the plane. If you are looking for Swiss order, look elsewhere. Nothing is free, not water (1.5 euro) or any other beverages or anything else. We paid double what the flight should cost to not even be offered water. The seats were lightly padded to maximize seats. There was a small amount of leg room but some. No power outlets, wifi or media. The worst aspect is I bought a flight on Baltic Air from Tallinn to Riga and had the price from Riga to Paris on the next tab on kayak. I bought the ticket from Tallin to Riga then flipped to buy Riga to Paris only to learn it was a bait price. The price was actually $200 more. Baltic would not refund the first flight (within minutes) so we were stuck to either walk away from our 2 tickets to Riga or pay the bait and switch rate. We begrudgingly paid 400 (200 each) euro MORE than the initial price shown so we could fly out of Riga back to Paris (to be back in Paris by Jan 7). A non alcoholic beverage, a small snack, and power access would be helpful. Ground crew helping with order would be helpful. I was shoved and run over trying to get onto and off the plane. It is the wild west of flying except the plane is new...oh, and it is 30 euro if you do not check in online ahead. But you will still need to stand in line to check a bag (where they can issue you a boarding pass)."

I left one bag at the front of the plane and had another at my feet. However, it was a short flight, so not too unbearable."

We explained at the checkpoint that we had a few minutes, but they controlled us several times until we had to throw several liquid items. In St. Petersburg they had already controlled us, without problems. In short: a sad experience in Riga, which does not speak well of this country: Latvia."

Once aboard the plane (a nice new aircraft) we found the stewardesses sour faced as well. Overall not impressed by air Baltic!"
Minus: "on the website i ordered and payed for a meal, and automatically it went to the last and the shortest leg of the flight. it did not ask which leg i was interested in. so i phoned their customer service to get this fixed, they said they cannot fix it and closed the phone on me. on the website is said that from israel you cannot do advance internet checkin, and when i arrived at the checkin they said that i should have done this advanced check in, and since i didn't i need to go to their ticket office and pay a penalty of 35$ per passenger. there also was no warning on the website of any such penalty. i will never fly with them again if i can help it."
Minus: "In Stockholm they denied my boarding to Riga and Moscow as they told me that I need Shengen visa. When I was buying ticket I wasn't informed that I need to have Visa. I always travel through Europe with layovers and never have this issue before. I had to buy another ticket straight to Moscow and wait in the airport for 8 hours. I ask to reimburse me half of the price of this ticket."

I had just two flights from the United States behind me and no problems at all and suddenly I can't fly with my carry-on luggage? I didn't like the AirBaltic check-in service."

Minus: "For people who have Airbaltic as a connecting flight this might be very inconvenient. We paid 40 Eur/person each way for our luggage . That brings the price that you pay so much higher than you expect at first. Also if you don't print boarding pass ahead of time which we didn't (plus still needed to drop off checked luggage and check our passports) they want to charge you 30 Eur a person to print that drinking piece of paper. If you don't want to pay that get out of the line with all of you luggage, go to kiosk and print it, then come back to the line. But that's companies rules , employees just have to follow it. Another problem was their attitude. The guy who got our luggage was so weird. Showing off and talking to us like a boss. After giving us boarding passes he said we can go to the screen and look up the gate ourselves. I never write long reviews but man! they got me mad that day. Never say never - but I don't want to fly with this airline again"
