Minus: I bought my seat assignment in advance, and they did not give me this seat on the plane. Before boarding, I asked at the gate if my new seat was a window--which is what I paid for--and they confirmed yes, my new seat was a window. Turns out, it was not, it was a middle seat. I asked a flight attendant to relocate me to a window seat, which she kindly did, however this seat was quite uncomfortable as I was seated next to a large gentleman who probably should have been required to purchase two seats. Overall, there were two issues with Qatar Airways during this trip: they did not give me the seat I had requested and paid for, and then lied when I asked if my new seat was a window.

Minus: Going through customs and an additional security check prior to boarding was the worst. It caused the flight to depart 15 minutes late.

Minus: Online check-in was very messy - not available. After contacting the phone support, it was possible.

Plus: Due to my religious faith I had booked special meals on Turkish Airlines. ( isegnent - Turkey to Washington DC ). Not only did the crew decline having my food reservation but they forced me to have food totally against my faith. Not sure if he airlines is biased against religions

Minus: The airport is not proper for travels , you need at least 2 hours to finish from the long lines and finding your way to the right location before the immigration and run to the gate if you are in good shape minimum from 10 to 15 minutes

Plus: Just a bad airline all together. They try to rip you off during transit by saying your luggage is over the weight limit and that you must pay for each additional kilograms.

Minus: We missed our connection because they did not have a jetway to a gate. By the time they bussed us from the tarmac to the terminal, many missed the plane, though it was still at the gate

Minus: Uncomfortable seats. Departed late from Tel Aviv, long outdoor wait at 4 C degrees for the buses from airplane to terminal, arrived 25 minutes before connection to Tokyo scheduled to depart, but the claimed that gate is closed so got stuck in Moscow for 24 hours.

Minus: Using the same airline and terminal, they caused us to miss our connection by not having a jetway to a gate. In the time it took to deplane and bus to the terminal, they caused us to miss the connection. This in spite of the plane being still at the gate when we arrived.

Minus: Seats were too close together.

Plus: Spacious business class seats, excellent meals

Minus: Lack of ventilation in cabin, and staff refusal to turn heaters down (in September), very limited entertainment options.

Minus: Our request for vegetarian meals got lost after a glight was cancelled.

Plus: The seats were spacious and the crew was wonderful. The crew actually made the long flight more tolerable. Will seek out Delta/Air France for further international flights.

Minus: The temperature in the cabin was absurd. There were 3 people who fainted because it was an 8 hour flight, and the AC was not at an ideal temperature. I was sweating, and so was my mother. ABSURD

Minus: Follow your own policies. Allow people to board (economy plus) with their hand luggage who have followed all the rules and chosen a seat in the front of the plane. My daughter and my KLM approved baggage were taken by the boarding crew while allowing other passengers to go with more than allowed

Minus: Half the screens were not working - crew were made aware but nothing was done. Vegetarian choices were poor to non-existent ; I witnessed crew insist to a passenger that there were no vegetarian options! They finally cobbled something together for him but not a pleasant experience
