Business Class gate desk ‘closed’ even though staffed as person was busy on the phone. Weird 2 - 3 - 2 layout means window and centre seats have to clamber over reclined neighbours. Seat width better than A380 and also less tomb like when reclined to nearly flat bed."
Minus: "The connection in Dubai was horrible. The 30 minute bus ride is so ridiculous. It's very difficult to even find the Business Class Lounge. No greeters. No signage. Terrible service. Even pajamas are not provided in Business Class --- unlike on Qatar Airways."

Minus: "1. Flight late from Berlin to Istanbul. 2. That's mean missing my next flight from Istanbul to Riyadh. 3. I add extra baggage in TKL Airport : my original bag is 23 kg I have until 32kg, The extra baggage was 20kg, So I pay 247 Euro each extra kg 19 Euro. 4. In Istanbul airport they said your next flight tomorrow at 20pm. 5. I have important meeting in morning and my jop in the evening. 6. They changed my teket from turkish airline to Saudi airline 4.00pm, That's mean no different. 7. I ask about my baggage in turkish airline deck they said don't worry every thing will be okay. 8. I ask for hotel they said you have to make visa cost 60 dollars and you know I have to pay taxi and Chang money... Pla Pla, Actually this is not respecting and very bad organization. 9. I didn't make visa and stay from that time until 3.pm in primum lungs. 10. I went to Saudi airline deck to take my boarding. 11. They said you have extra baggage, I explain them that I payed already to turkish airline. 12. They said you have to go back to turkish airline deck about this extra kg's. 13. I did going back to them they said we cannot do anything, leave one bag here and we send the other one later. Actually this stupid airline and this stupid employee's dealing with me like a stupid, all my time I walk every where in that stupid airport, they just gives me orders and I have to follow like it was my mistake. 14. I showed my alfursan membership to Saudi airline deck and they helped me. 15. When I arrived to Riyadh my baggage wasn't there, this is mean that this stupid turkish people that the have to work on barbcue and haircut, but airports jop needs professional people. That's was my first and last flight with them."

Minus: "There were a few small things that could have been better (Which I'll mention), but the worst thing about the flight was the airport. Ataturk Airport is a mess. After the attempted coup, they really upped security, forcing all international flights to go through a second security screening after transferring from another airport. It's understandable but the line moved at a molasses-like speed when I had only 25 minutes to make my connecting flight. The security personnel were rude, as well. Also, when I went to make my connecting gate in Cairo, there was no one at the gate after the required boarding time (Because security had held us up), forcing some of us to board the plane without having anyone to show us onto the plane (Very scary). The flight boarding was chaotic, and no announcements were made about what we were supposed to do. Besides the lack of boarding gates, the only other serious complaint I had against Turkish Airlines (Because it really was great overall) was that the pilots and flight attendants were very hard to understand. I have taught ESL for the past 5 years, and I still had a hard time as an American understanding their English. Also, they frequently didn't understand or misunderstood questions that I would ask them. I've never had a hard time understanding flight attendants on an international flight, but I only understood about 20% of what anyone said over the loud speaker in the plane. And it's nice to be able to understand when the pilot says, "We are experiencing some turbulence and would like everyone to buckle their seatbelts until it passes." Two small things remain: 1. The bathroom trash cans were full on every flight (A small thing but makes everything feel "trashy"). 2. The flight attendants seemed unhappy, and they definitely seemed unhappy to be serving us. I can only assume they are that way because they aren't treated particularly well by their bosses."

Although we had all been up from 5am to get to early morning flight and Tashkent air port has no services, stewardess ran out of coffee and repeatedly refused to get me, the person skipped, coffee, despite repeated requests for a first cup. Each time they refilled coffee, they started run from beginning of plane, and ran out by the time they got to the middle. Usually if someone gets skipped, they just go back and get a single cup, but this lady was determined not to. Never had this happen in 55 years of flying. Serious caffine deficiency."

Upon arrival at airport we were sent to gate for flight 813 when printed the tickets (for 811). VERY confusing. No notice from Kayak on the change, and Kayak still showed us on the 813."

Crews kept forgetting passengers orders/requests. A lady sitting besides me pushed a call bottom 3 times to get noticed. Flight attendants were too busy chatting with passengers to help other passengers. I have never seen that type of services before."

Minus: "KLM had bumped us to a later flight for no reason and again we had to call with a long wait to get our original connection restored, However, we did not get boarding passes during checking in Europe and thus had to go outside security in Detroit to the main check-in gate and wait 30 minutes to get the error resolved. Then it was back thorough security and a rush to the gate to get there in time to board. Lost our original seat assignment and wound up in the last row at the tail of the plane. Extremely poor coordination between KLM and Delta who operated the flight."

Minus: "Flight delayed ... Myself and three other colleagues didn't have our luggage show up from KLM flight from Amsterdam to Brussels...even though all of our luggage was labeled "priority". Once in customer service line, we looked and saw that many of the other passengers on our flight also never received their luggage. We estimated that 20-25% of the people on that flight did not receive their luggage as they were in line with us for the same problem. Hard to understand how so many pieces of luggage could have been overlooked and not loaded on our flight. Obviously there is a huge gap in their quality system to ensure mistakes like this are prevented."
