Plus: Economy class had a bit wider seats. Included dinner, beverages, and breakfast plus snacks . Happy with Swiss Air.
Plus: We had a turbulent trip but our pilots were very competent and got us to Zuroch safely. Bathroom was pretty clean.
Minus: The plane was an older model and very outdated. The flight attendants gave us a choice between chicken or vegetarian pasta. I chose chicken, but it was actually beef. The salad was literally iceberg lettuce and a slice of cucumber. Overall, the meal was one of the lowest quality I've ever had in am airline. The outdated onboard entertainment system was annoying to operate and it was impossible to even see the screen when the person ahead leaned back.
Minus: We didn’t make it to Venice due to delays because Boston wasn’t ready for a snowstorm.
Minus: I was asked to check my carry-on. I have used this carry-on more than 50x without an issue. I have even put it in the smaller compartments on smaller Bombardier jets. I don't have an issue with being asked to check luggage, but I resent being asked when others are allowed to take their carry-on onto to the plane without issue. Right in front of me while I was waiting for a baggage tag, others were being checked in with carry-on equal to mine and allowed to take it onto the plane. I can only surmise that my ticket limited me to one bag onto the plane, although they would not tell me this. This was not clear when I booked the ticket nor when I checked in on-line. I had a 40 minute connection in Zurich so was very concerned that my luggage would not make it. Luckily, it did make it to my next stop. Swiss Air seems to have different restrictions than other airlines which I have encountered before. I take ownership that I should be aware of a tickets restrictions but this was a multi-leg trip (5). However, I will tend to avoid Swiss air in the future, to avoid having to research their unique restrictions.
Plus: Good crew and despite the short flight we even got a sandwich which was great after a long day
Minus: No entertainment but short flight
Plus: The food was good was good
Minus: The entertainment was poor the movies selection was poor
Minus: I did not like the fact that the United flight I came in on was over a MILE of corridors away from the outgoing flight.
Plus: Crew was so attentive and helpful. Very courteous and friendly. Had great experience.
Minus: Head rest on Seats tilts slightly forward making long flight uncomfortable
Plus: I have never been treated so poorly by counter people in my life!
Minus: After 2 hour delay, the flight was cancelled. NO ONE helped to find another flight. After waiting in line for 2 hours, the ticket agent handed me a card and said I had to call the 800 number. The person on the phone said I had to talk to ticket agent to go standby on a flight to Munich and the ticket agent told me I had to call. I was caught in a loop and no one helped. Then when it became apparent I wasn't getting out that night I was informed that there were no hotel vouchers and I would have to find my own hotel! After searching for an hour for a hotel (all were sold out in Boston) I called a friend who lives outside of Boston. No one gave me a taxi voucher because it was not to a hotel. LUFTHANSA customer service is the WORST!!!!!!!!
Plus: Was nice and pleasurable
Minus: My entertainment screeen froze in first 40 min of flight, the food portions were tiny
Minus: Flight was delayed
Minus: 1- Tight seats for three big adults in a row of three seats especially for an 8 hour flight! 2- I don't eat pork. Most of the food was pork or mixed with pork even the salad! My options were very limited thus I wasn't well fed.
Plus: Movie selection, games, food, dreamliner plane
Minus: Legroom, seat comfort
