Nederländerna har begränsat inresa för resenärer som anländer med flyg utanför EU och som inte är medborgare, innehavare av uppehållstillstånd eller innehavare av viseringar för längre vistelse i EES-medlemsländerna, Schweiz eller deras familjer. Det finns undantag för vissa särskilda fall, t.ex. resande som går på begravningar eller studerar vid en institution i Nederländerna. En fullständig förteckning över undantag finns här. Från och med den 1 januari klassificeras inte brittiska medborgare längre som EU/EES-medborgare och får inte komma in i Nederländerna. EU:s icke-väsentliga reseförbud har också upphävts för invånare i Australien, Japan, Sydkorea, Nya Zeeland, Rwanda, Singapore, Thailand och Uruguay. Den nederländska regeringen har ett färgkodat system med länder och regioner med hög risk (orange) och lägre risk (gul). Resenärer som kommer från högriskområden eller länder (orange) måste isolera sig i 10 dagar vid ankomsten. Turisterna måste följa alla de åtgärder och regler som gäller för att bekämpa spridningen av coronaviruset. Turister måste också boka semesterboende innan de reser till Nederländerna. Den 16 juli tillkännagav den nederländska regeringen ett ytterligare undantag för utlänningar som har långdistansförhållanden med nederländska medborgare/bosatta i Nederländerna. Icke-EU-medborgare som för närvarande inte är bosatta i eller fysiskt vistas i EU är fortfarande föremål för reserestriktioner och får inte resa till Nederländerna för turism.
Från och med den 15 december måste resenärer som kommer från ett land som inte finns med på EU:s förteckning över säkra ursprungsländer och som är undantagna från EU:s reseförbud för Nederländerna uppvisa följande dokument: Ett officiellt negativt COVID-19 PCR-testresultat utfärdat inom 72 timmar och ett snabbtest högst 4 timmar före ankomst och en ifylld och undertecknad negativ testdeklaration. Barn under 13 år är undantagna från kravet att presentera ett COVID-19-testresultat. Utöver de befintliga kraven för resenärer måste resenärer från Irland, Storbritannien eller Sydafrika även visa ett negativt resultat från ett snabbtest (antigen- eller LAMP-test) eller PCR-test. Testet måste ha genomförts högst fyra timmar innan du går ombord på flyget. Resenärer måste ha tryckta versioner av både det negativa testresultatet och deklarationen. Det är inte godtagbart att visa en digital version på en telefon eller surfplatta. Testkraven ersätter inte kravet på självisolering under tio dagar efter ankomst. Barn under 13 år är undantagna från att presentera ett COVID-19 testresultat.

I have had this experience before but in this case the planes location was virtually on the other side of the terminal. By the time all were boarded, the plane was late by about 15 minutes to takeoff, and we experienced more delay after that so that on arrival we were an hour delayed. Many missed connections in Vienna as a result. Crew seemed tense and on edge."

Waiting area at the gate had plenty of seating and the staff was professional and courteous. We had to gate check bags as the plane was a regional turboprop, but everything went very smoothly."

Minus: "Entertainment selection was fiddly and the offerings meagre compared to the vast libraries found on other carriers, but it was sufficient. More a quibble than a gripe from me. The noise cancelling headsets were good quality noise cancelling, and comfortable. I can't wear some other airlines headsets at all and use my ear pods with an airline adapter jack."
Minus: "At 11h30 of 14/9 we (HOANG MINH CHAU and NGUYEN SI THANH) were standing at the ticket counter in Vienna and we could not check in due to no payment yet for the ticket and so the reservation has been cancelled. Due to this reason we had have to buy new tickets at the airport ticketing counter. So please sort out your problem with the airline and get back to me. From my bank the payment has been done yet to you. We had have double pay for one trip."
Minus: "Vi sitter i planer och ser våra väskor på en vagn, redo att lastas. Helt plötsligt så kör de iväg vagnen, vi ser att de kör mot terminalen. När vi frågar personalen vad som händer så säger de att väskorna skall lastas framtill i planet. DE LJUGER!! planet stänger dörrarna, vi startar och flyger. När vi landar så berättar de att bagaget inte kom med. utan väskor så åker vår grupp till hotellet. Det hemska var att besättningen ljög istället för att berätta och informera på ett bra sätt. Väskorna kördes ut och kom efter midnatt."

We were sweating and drinking water like crazy (they gave us one bottle and did not routinely walk the aisles handing out more). Luckily we brought our own water. Early June and headed to Scandinavia, not someplace hot. Seats were hard and I put my unused blankets under me."

Your airline rebooked me for a flight the next day that ended up having air filter problems. I lost 3 days of vacation from the 10 total I get a year and from the 8 I had taken for my vacation."

The entertainment system touch-screen was not working properly and the headphones kept falling out of my ear."

Minus: "Not to be seated next to a large man and a child behind me kicking my seat. Again, items out of your control. There is one item, and that is, I forgot to request a vegan food option and it would have been nice to have one last minute even though I did not request it."

Minus: "The food was filling, but not particularly tasty. For those seated toward the back, there was no choice. Although maybe there was no choice to begin with. Normally, on international flights, for the first (bigger) meal at least, you are given two choices, such as meat or vegetarian, beef or chicken. The food itself wasn't great. The salad was below average on both flight, from and to Chicago. So was the desert. Drinks are offered once with each meal in very small glasses. Although there is a bottle of water from the start."
Minus: "I purchased a ticket that included one checked bag but their system said I purchased a ticked which didn’t include any checked luggage and I had to pay $60 to check my bag. Very frustrating!"

Minus: "Big struggle for airlines still remains varying quality customer service. Finnair still seems to struggle with this occasionally. Finnair can work harder to keep customer service quality high. Hate to say it, but perhaps letting the bitter, last generation flight attendants who seem to have a grudge about the decline of the glamour and benefits of the job as flying has become commonplace with more competition (seen this on Finnair & N America’s older airlines line United)"

There should be a better alternative for people who miss their flights than forcing them to pay a lump sum that is higher than the original ticket price in order to reschedule their ticket. Moral of the story: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY THROUGH KAYAK OR SIMILAR AGENCIES, BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS."
