Our seats were comfortable (complete with a moldable headrest to keep your head from bobbing around) but we felt too upright to fall asleep. So we weren’t able to sleep, despite trying to get comfortable/somewhat horizontal. It seemed to be a mixed bag of asleep and awake passengers on the flight, so some people were unaffected by this issue."

From time to time others were directly directed ed to the left where there was no line and option of two security checks. Half way through my wait , most were directed to the left and all who were 'late', were let out first to their gate. The whole experience before, on the plane and after was not worth the money...least of all a pleasant one."

They can save a few bucks in overhead on each customer this way, but they are losing money in the long run because I'll never book with them again due to their tawdry actions. I doubt I am alone."

Plus: "You know i have never had a bad experience on any airline until till today at 2:15pm on September 29, 2017 while boarding the plane for flight number 4244 on easyjet airlines when i was told that i had to take my backpack that served as my purse for my last two weeks of travel and put eveything in my backpack, which included my wallet, passport, ipad, phone, meds, and ereader in my other regular size carry on. My son and i each had a carry on suitcase that met the requirment when I flew to Rome last friday on the exact same size plane. I was told I was NOT to have two types of carry on bags i was only ALOWED ONE and was NOT given the option of putting it under my seat. They were more than willing to charge me another 50 Euro to check my carry on bag. But first she asked to see my ticket to see if i was even allowed another checked bag. She DID NOT look at my ticket but immediately flipped my passport and saw that i was from the US AND TOLD ME I WAS ALLOWED ONLY ONE CARRY ON BAG! Yet this awesomely nice Canadian couple (they spoke to me after the flight landed in Paris and were shocked i was made to do this given what they carried on the plane) who had checked and paid for 3 bags and then turned around and carried on a cloth canvas bag for him, a black purse for her, a shopping bag bigger than her purse with items in it and two backpacks. What happened to being able to carry on a carry on suitcase and a purse for women or a lap top size bag, which in some cases is larger than my backpack?I have never hated anyone in my life but I am really tired of the world judging ALL AMERICANS under the same umbrella. I spent my hard earned money in Italy and to be treated with such disrespect on the way out of the country completley floored me! I will not ever fly back into Rome, Italy on any airline! These people are rude and do not care who they offend but Americans are supposed to kiss eveybody's butts! Sorry but I am mad and have written to the airline and i am sure nothing will happen."

There were many samll backpacks and purses in overhead bins that should have been on the floor in front of the petson carrying them. My bag or nobody else's bag should have to ne put at the back of the plane while my seat is damn near at the front if the plane. They were not afraid to offend me but people from countries other than the US they wouldn't even make them put the bag under the seat in front of them."

Minus: "Jag har säkert flygit med Ryanair 75-100 ggr. Priority boarding... de har aldrig någonsin lyckats att hantera det på ett bra sätt. Sorgligt."

Minus: "Planet var försenat på Malta och ingen information gick ut så vi stod i kö i en och en halv timme utan att få veta vad som var problemet. Avgåendetavlan visade hela tiden "on time" men ingen förklaring till varför vi inte fick gå ombord. Flygvärdinnorna på planet var trevliga men man hörde inte vad de sa i högtalarna för de pratade så sluddrigt och fort. Kaptenen sa något som man inte uppfattade i början av flighten men sedan ingen information alls på hela vägen till Göteborg."
Minus: "Allt var uruselt. Servicen ombord under all kritik. Väntade 15 minuter på en kopp kaffe efter beställningen. Beställningen av bagage online är vilseledande så jag hade tydligen bara beställt incheckad väska åt ena hållet och fick därför betala 400 kr för att ta hem den. Detta hände flera passagerare som var arga och jag undrar om ni sätter detta i system för att tjäna mer. Jag reste med Ryan Air för ett par år sedan och lovade mig själv aldrig mer, men ville gärna ge det en chans till men nu vet jag definitivt att jag aldrig reser med er igen och skall dessutom varna alla för detta och inte blir det billigare heller med alla extrakostnader som ni tar ut. Fy för uselt flygbolag!!"
Minus: "Långsam ombordstigning. Matbrickorna lutade så min dryck föll ner på mig. Fick ej glas till drycken. Drycken var ej väl kyld. Personalen gick in i mig med både armbågar och serveringsvagn När jag råkat somna lite mot gången."
Plus: "The crew at the airport were clued up and took action when they knew the flight was going to be delayed. They ensured everyone was checked in for the flight and boardring passes checked before gathering everyone in the correct groups so we could board quickly. Pilot got us there ahead of schedule!"
Plus: "Jag har tyckt att vällkömn. Och de har jätte gladt"
Plus: "Once departed, the flight was about as average as any Ryanair flight can get. Crew were friendly and apologised on numerous occasions for the delay, and on arrival deboarding and getting to the terminal was swift and had no delay."
Minus: "Ground Crew Blue Handling was trialling a 'new process' of boarding & luggage handling which went into action the day I flew April 26th. This resulted in a passenger boarding the wrong flight and bags loaded onto the wrong plane. This led to a 40-minute delay in departure while they sorted this out."
Plus: "We arrived in time."
Minus: "Crammed space - I had a middle seat. No entertainment sucks on a 4 1/2 hrs flight. Well well, you get what you pay for..."
Minus: "I paid nothing for my bag going to Dublin and had to pay 10€ coming back. WHY???"
Minus: "When booking we paided an extra fee to reserve our seats. However when I tried to activate this option, it was not possible. There was an extra charge.... Then it was back and forward between the life chat and the contactform. Each of them pointing to each other to find a sollution.... guess what... nobody did"
Minus: "Flight was late by 1 hr"
Plus: "Getting to my destination safely and getting the heck off their plane!"
Minus: "Trip was Athens - Rome. We had an issue trying to check in online in Greece; it told us to bring our passports to the agent at the airport. We arrived at the airport 2 1/2 hrs before boarding time. After waiting in line the agent told us the check in was closed and we had to pay 55 Euros each JUST TO GET OUR BOARDING PASS. It’s paper with a bar code on it! And we had an issue checking in online. You’re supposed to check in with RyanAir 2 hrs before the plane leaves and we were 4 mins late by the time we waited in line and got to the agent. Nope, still had to pay for paper. Not to mention we had paid extra for priority check in at book. Sure felt like just a cash machine for them. Charge for water too. Awful awful company. I will never fly with them again."
Plus: "Planet var nästan 3h sent iväg från CRL TILL CPH. Ingen kom och erbjöd mat ett dryck och informerade heller inte oss om våra rättigheter som passagerare på plats."
Minus: "På planet sa personalen ingenting om förseningen och när man påpekade vad som skett på flygplatsen kunde de inte göra got för att kompensera. Jag bad om vatten och fick svaret att det inte fanns något vatten. Då tog en av värdinnorna fram sin privata vattenflaska och bjöd mig. Ett riktigt nonchalant beteende från Rya Airs sida vilket allvarligt talat gör så att jag aldrig mer kommer att välja att flyga med er, kommer heller inte att rekommendera er till nära och kära. Riktigt besviken!"
Plus: "Quick disembarking due to quite empty plane ( for ryanair that usually has full )"
Minus: "Staff seemed a bit irritated with each other. The boarding took so long - we were towards the end of the queue but still had to wait a long time for the dooors to close - not very ryanair as they usually have all of us waiting to get on the plane. This was especially weird as the plane was quite empty Might need to lower the up selling - the flying time was 55 mins approx and the poor cabin crew were wheeling the cart about 3 minutes after take off with the plane still climbing quite steeply. The crew are trying to sell the same as a 3 hour ryanair flight - hot food, snacks, drinks, scratch cards, and the perfumes"

Minus: "Had to pay for not checking in 2hrs before 55 euros per person, After booking information there isnt clear enough notification asking for prior check-in. Flight attendants allowed anyone and everyone change seats before takeoff .. simply seems like Ryanair has no procedures and rules to follow... flight attendants look like they are on life support.. no smiling or kindness whatsoever... Seats were really uncomfortable, cant even recline the seats. Landing was scary. Budget of all budget airlines.. simply a joke and a waste of money ... vueling or easyjet is a 100 times better"
Minus: "Poor customer service, no information on or apology for delay. Then 1.5 hrs after landing our baggage finally came on the baggage carousel. Again no explanation or info. Very poor experience."

Minus: "I was seated in 1A next to the window and main door and the one side of my body froze. My nose started to run. An hour before the end I got up and found another seat. But it was cold there too. Also hated the emails they sent me in advance which had me inputting all info before leaving - only to find that “free check-in is not allowed.” I will not fly with them again. It’s not worth the money saved."
Plus: "I bought two tickets together and they wouldn’t allow sit together even though the aircraft was half empty, another stupid way to overcharge"

Minus: "I HATE RYAN AIRs CHAIRS! I always fall asleep when I fly and then I am falling forward. After 1 or 2 hours flight I end up with nack pain, back pain and a grumpy mode."
Plus: "Arrived early, a bit confused as to why our bags had to go in the hold but they arrived in a very timely fashion and although the 3 of us were separated, I was in a fire exit seat and my long legged son also had extra leg room at the front. Bonus!"
Minus: "I wish the seats could recline just a little. I can't read without feeling sick so a 3 hour flight can be pretty uncomfortable."
Plus: "That it took off and landed. That's all."
Minus: "Being made to queue for almost an hour, with staff seeing and allowing people to push in front because they had a child (over 5y.o) with no regard for people who queued. Staff then came from the back to the front of the queue telling people they had to put their carry-on luggage in the hold. When questioned why, the response was "you either do it or we won't let you fly. You don't like it? What do you want? It's Ryanair, deal with it." Very disappointing, flown many times with Ryanair but never been treated like that. Also disgusted with the new policy of having to pay to sit next to your partner of the same booking. Disgusting."

Plus: "A very cheap flight; we had randomly allocated seats away from each other but as there were few passengers this was not a problem. There was almost a row of seats per passenger so I can't see the benefit of paying to sit together!"

Minus: "Everything about this experience was terrible. They charge you for bags that will clearly fit in the overhead bin and under your seat. None of the boarding crew communicated with each other, so even though two members approved the size of my bag, the woman checking boarding passes didn't believe them, so she kicked me out of line and I had to pay anyway. They even sell scratch tickets to passengers on the plane, how cheap and sleezy can an airline get??"
Plus: "They charged me 50 euro for my carry on, after that I was flying with the same small bag 3 times in Ryanair."
Minus: "I want my money back because they didn't charge me before when I had travel on Ryanair, just I Italy. And they said that if I dindt pay they close the gate for me, and after I said that I am gonna paid, they laugh with the other girl, and say "she has money and she said not""
Minus: "Flyget var över 1 timme sent från Barcelona, informationen på flygplatsen var riktigt dålig. När vi sedan kom på flyget var utbudet i mat/snacksväg otroligt magert. Vi fick inte ens någon ordentlig ursäkt eller förklaring till förseningen."
Plus: "Besättning /flygvärdinnor var riktigt bra, trevliga och flexibla. Ryanair passar tiderna."
Minus: "Jag tycker att Ryanair borde bjuda på kaffe och liten bulle under tre timmars resa men mat skulle beställas ifall man vill ha. Stolarna är inte alls bekväma men man klarar sig på gränsen, att sitta tre timmar på de utan att ändra ställning /ergonomisk är inte bra för ryggen ."
