On the previous occasion I had left behind my waist bag on the seat containing passports, cash and cards. Their lost and found desk retrieved it quickly, absolutely intact. On the last occasion, my mother in law, who is over 85 was taken care of very well at not only Delhi but especially at the Frankfurt airport. I must truly acknowledge young lady Jessica's efforts, in ensuring that everything was handled very caringly by her personally, for an old lady at the Frankfurt airport."

Minus: "Late leaving, when boarding in CPH had to wait in extremely hot area once past the desk where our boarding passes were scanned and then the area where we had to queue just prior to boarding the plane was glass and therefore extremely hot. The worst issue was that there was one family with extremely loud children with the parents doing nothing. I saw a steward way up the plane looking down at them at one stage while serving another passenger but she did nothing. I like children but this was constant with the father actually encouraging the children to make more noise once he realised that other passengers were annoyed. There were plenty of other children on the plane who were behaving. Although SAS staff were aware of this they did nothing to ensure the comfort of the other passengers. One friend of mine stood for about 40 minutes at the back of the plane and another for about 20 minutes to get away from this constant noise as it was so loud and persistent. I had to listen to music to block it out.SAS staff should have intervened because this was very loud and as I have said constant i.e. every few seconds for most of the flight."

The plane was new - an Airbus A330 - and the flight crew was friendly and helpful."

Minus: "The flight attendants were rude and moody like they didnt want to be there and took it out on the people they were suppose to give service to. One flight attendent got upset or acted a little nasty because I asked her for another custom border slip. She said was going to bring one but I guess she forgot and an atleast 30 minutes to an hour went by till I asked her again and she got nasty. The same lady along with the other flight attendants snatched trash out peoples hands like they were diseased...and they had gloves on. When it came to entertainment they didnt have much variety. Unless the price for the flight is dirt cheap or below average I would choose to fly with them again other than that I'll go to another"

Minus: "Our flight (operated by Air Canada) was delayed due to a control tower fire. Other flights seemed to have been delayed 1 or 2 hours, but ours was delayed 3.5 hours. That's not really the airline's fault, but it seems like they didn't want to communicate updates or give us any options for alternate flights. They also listed the delay at just under 3 hours, rather than the real 3.5 we were late leaving the gate (to avoid giving out vouchers, I suspect)."

When I had to pay for a second bag at the airport (IAD) on the outbound flight, it took 15 minutes. When I came (BRU), they told me to wait in 3 different lines, wasting 30 minutes, before I got to the correct line. Then board the flight to return was a 45 minute delay. It's like these guys were totally new to the airline business."

Minus: "A little late to take off, the interior of Ryanair planes is perhaps the most visually offensive environment that I experience in my life. Flew BA not long ago and remembered how nice a flight can actually be. Oh, also Ryanair staff seem like they’re recruited on their ability to be uncommunicative and not to care about it. Amazingly consistent in this respect, but to their credit, you know what to expect."

Minus: "It was our honeymoon, flight was nearly an hour late. When we asked the guy that was boarding us why the flight was not on time and very late he said ‘wheelchairs and stuff, you know the usual’ and laughed?! I have no idea why he would find incompetence or disabilities funny. The whole scenario was awful. Will not be flying with Ryanair again!"

Plus: "First off the reviews via Youtube and the web site were scarey but I wished for the best. I packed a small American Tourister bag 14 for my European trip starting in Rome to Paris then on to Amsterdam, as well as packed a book bag. At first I booked non priority but figured I'd add the $7.50 to be safe and be able to take both my bags, plus it got me thru the gate quicker, so I booked PRIORITY and it worked out for me. The space is kind of tight but I was able to fit comfortably in my seat and the flight was abt 2 hrs or so from Rome to Paris. I never reclined my seat because after takeoff I fell promptly asleep. I had a 6:30 am flight. The crew appeared very unbothered n blasé but there were no mishaps and they were attempting to get everyone seated as quickly as possible so we could get on to our destination on time. The landing was a bit off but nothing major just a hard drop, nothing serious. Overall not as bad as the nightmare reviews but nothing to brag about either. Well worth my $60 (American)."

I could hear that they were asked on their way through security 'how drunk are you?' which they announced loudly to everyone. They were shouting on board. They were still sold alcohol by the crew who did nothing to quieten them down. As usual the flight was late (around an hour by the time we actually got to the terminal)"

Seat rows are too close together - my knees were pressed against the seat in front the whole flight."
