We were a party of eight and arrived for boarding very close to deadline (minus posted delays) At the boarding gate we were met by six other passengers. The gate was vacant and closed. The real problem happened at the Turkish Airlines desk where we were treated with arrogance, disdain and absolutely no compassion. AS a matter of fact some of the Turkish Airlines staff smiled as they imposed an outrageous fine to purchase tickets to the next flight and continuation of our previous booking. We intend to protest the charges and contact thru many forms of media inform as many fellow travellers of the incident and subsequent treatment by Turkish Airlines. Social media is a powerful tool and although the cards were held in their favor the night of 9-21-17 our protest will not end here. We are fourteen wounded travellers that have agreed to use as many forms of social media as possible to get our message out."

Then on the flight I was told they only do vegetarian which was not good enough. After food was passed out to guests the flight crew dissapeared and never came to collect food trays till about 2 hours after and guests were starting to make a mess leaving food trays on the ground and isles. I had already selected my seat prior to boarding which I paid hundreds of dollars for. Then after boarding the flight crew asked me and the gentleman sitting next to me to move our seats to accomodate for another man that wanted to sit next to his wife. Then I was stuck in a middle seat and I paid for an isle seat. I thought this was rediculous. No one offered me a discount or anything! And the man that wanted to sit next to his wife wouldn't let the plane leave till he was sitting next to his wife. What was I supposed to do? Hold up the plane even longer? This was so crazy!! Outrageous!"

I was trying to get home after a natural disaster struck my hometown and Turkish Airlines actually made that experience even worse. At no point did anyone even apologize for cancelling two of my flights without another option until a full week later. I had to pay to fly myself home from Boston because they were so unhelpful. Would never recommend Turkish Airlines to anyone I know whn traveling internationally."

I knew this information based on online reviews, but the airline itself never did anything to offer this, I had to walk around on the airport, for like 2 hours I could not find decent help and some instructions in broken English. I had to pay 25 Euros to get mi visa stamped and walk out of the airport. The Turkish Airlines attendant that set up the free hotel for us, walked us to a shuttle that would drive us to the hotel, but the shuttle driver got lost? or something happened that caused for him to drive around town for more than an hour, speaking on the phone loudly in Turkish and completely ignoring us when we asked questions, This got a little scary since we had no idea what was going on, at some point we were in the middle of a dark residential area, and listening to the driver yell on the phone (god knows what). Luckily a driver came over and guided us to the hotel, but seriously, they should be careful about who they hire for these kind of tasks. (I posted a video on instagram with footage of the guy driving us around in case my family needed to find me)."

Today two planes arrived in LIS from IST, none of them with our luggage. Screen shows my name with mention "Not loaded" regarding the luggage. This incompetence is unacceptable from "Europe's best airline". This title is misleading advertising and should not be allowed."

They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Minus: "There was a two and a half hour delay for technical problems for our flight from Warsaw to Los Angeles on Tuesday July 24, 2018. There had been a two-hour delay for my flight in from Warsaw to Moscow, also for technical problems, on Friday July 13, 2018. Obviously, LOT needs to insure its planes are safe, but it needs to do so sufficiently in advance of take-off so that its passengers are not inconvenienced by lengthy delays."

Plus: "Brand new plane, very smart albeit plasticy and clunky. Professional staff. Very helpful when I had a specific personal request at the booking office. Flight crew were not constantly trying to force us to buy things or making announcements every 5mins like some budget airlines I could name. Flight was 30mins early so no problems there."
Minus: "Warsaw Airport is terrible. Not enough seats in the departure longes. Not enough choice for shops. Not enough toilets for the volume of passengers."
Minus: "The ticket agent was really grumpy, they were late taking off, I am not crazy about prop planes, too much vibration."
Plus: "Everything was well organized and orderly, though the staff were not too cheerful or friendly. Even though it was a short 1 hour flight I saw flight attendants giving crayons and papers to the kids and everyone was offered a small chocolate cookie, a tiny packet of sour gummies, and a cup of water for free which I didn't expect. The plane was very small but clean and I was fairly comfortable in my seat for the short flight. There was a magazine in the seat pocket in English and Polish. Mostly I liked the cheap ticket price and that it was an on time flight."
Minus: "When we landed we went down 5 steps to the ground outside and got in a bus to go in the terminal. The plane was so small that there is very little space for carry on bags so that was a problem for some people, and as we entered the plane I noticed that the ceiling of the aisle is so low that my husband could touch his head on it if he went on his toes a bit (he's 6'4") It was odd to me that they had my husband and I assigned to seats an aisle apart, but a kind stranger agreed to change places. Lastly, the carry on baggage weight allowance is very low and they weighed our bags and we had to pay 24 dollars each for our overweight carry on roller bags which were then checked."

Plus: "Overall everything was good - I have travelled frequently with LOT in the past few months and this was perhaps the best experience so far. Boarding was easy enough - the flight was not fully booked so there wasn't the usual Central European pushing and anxiety during boarding. Flight crew are informative, cabin crew attentive and kind. Service and food were good."
Minus: "Comfort on these long haul flights is not expected in economy - the seat next to me was free which came in very useful as the person in front of me reclined almost immediately and kept throwing himself about in his seat in vain attempts to get comfortable - I was able to move over so I wasn't disturbed by his person. Why they have reclining seats is a mystery - it doesn't make it appreciably more comfortable for the person reclining and it reduces leg room for the person behind, makes it more difficult to watch the screen (despite the tilting feature) and means that the tray table is resting on your knees during meal times."
Minus: "When we bordered ,they used a bus to bring us to the plane.It was cold and windy outside,so,not comfortable."

Plus: "I am not sure where to start from but each lot employee I talk with had poor English and not the tinyest willing to help just to move , I had a flight back from cezh republic to JFK with a stop in Warsaw When I got to the front desk in the air port to print my ticket the Liady ( work at Sation 236 ) was very rude and anti costumer service she print me only my first fly ticket and when I ask why she " I don't know " I said ok so when u get there you know which get I go or where I will print the other ticket she say I don't know Ok and then I ask her can u check if it a room I. My flight from Warsaw to JFK in business it this moment she tell me I can switch sit and ask me to go I was shocked but this was only the bigining when I got to Warsaw I ask in the gate counter where should I go to print my ticket after I try to explain him 10 times what I mean ( he didn't speak English at all ) he told me to go pass the passport check and in gate 21 they will print it to me I fly a lot so I ask him if he sure becuse I am petty sure I will need my ticket the guy at the desk repeat imhim self so I want and waited 25-30 min in the line so the police officer in the passport check will tell me I need to go print my ticket So after the officer from the passport desk call someone he direct me to go to hate 26 and there they will print my ticket I want them and again wait for 15 min to print my ticket ( it was only me this is the sad thing I don't know what tool 15 min to print a ticket ) and it amazing how unsocial and 0 in customer service the lot polish employees I meet And this is without talking about the delay in my coming flight for 2-3 hrs ( a delay it something that happen a lot yes but the way they handled it again 0 in costumer service )"

Minus: "The check in process was a mess was forced to wait in multiple long lines with the worst, unprofessional, disregarding, condescending staff to check in and then another line to pay for luggage. They also force you to pay an additional "seat fee" even if you don't request a specific seat. Horrible customer service, zero regard for customers. Waited in shuttle for 45 minutes before being taken to plane. My air conditioner fan for my seat was completely broken but had to pay for that seat as well. Avoid at all costs. Worst airplane very old and run down. Also the staff for Vienna airport is who you have to go to to pay fees for luggage and THEY ARE THE WORST TO DEAL WITH. Would avoid this airline at all costs."

After all that, the airline changed my seat without warning, moving me from the window seat I selected (and paid for) to a middle seat. Where did they get the idea I would think that was OK? Then the flight was delayed, almost missed my connection. Boarding and exiting the aircraft were zoos. Eminently unrepeatable."

To enter the gate, we were completely rescreened, although we had been screened to go from Bucharest to Belgrade. We waited on the bus for 15 minutes. Only a few seats on the bus so it is a standup experience. Finally the bus started driving to the parked planes, but turned away and drove to a where you would exit the bus after arriving. They told everyone to go upstairs where they explained that there was a "technical problem" on then plane and it would be delayed an hour. They sent everyone to gate A4a, where everyone was prescreened again. We waited in a hot gate for an hour, then boarded the bus and to make a long story short, we arrived in Zagreb 1 and a quarter hours late."

Minus: "I am almost 2 meter tall (6'4) and I asked more than 30 days before the flight to receive a seat with extra room for the legs, I was told that the flight was fully booked and there are no seat that are available. I then asked for the same in the check-in and received a similar answer. When I arrived to the plain I saw that I can't seat because there is no space so I asked the flight crew to try and find a solution but they said they can't do nothing. Only after I insisted and spoke with the cabin manager they checked and found a place - in fact there were 2 seats with extra room for the legs that were available!! and the flight had many other open seats (they just lied about it). A lot of the personal television did not work and the crew did not assist and did not solve the problem, but just said that this happens and that they can't do anything. This is just ridicolus for a more than 8 hours flight! The airconditioning did not work properly and it was exteremly hot. In general it was an horrible experience, the crew was very unpleasent and did not want to help and the food was just disgusting. I do not recommend to anyone to fly with Air Serbia, you better pay the extra money and fly with a real company."

This is how they worked it...They try to board multiple flights off the same counters. You stand in line for 1 hour and no movement happens- literally!?Then, since the next flight is about to be delayed - they announce for you to stampede forward, to make your flight. Then the process actually begins and 20min later and some bureaucracy on extra luggage you get your pass. Then you run through passport control and security, exhausted and frustrated (as was everyone else). Etihad should instruct Serbian Airlines in which they invested, how a plane (s) are to be boarded. After all it's over 100 years since the first commercial flight took place, its not that much of a mystery any more:)"
